Raid Shadow Legends Ice Golem’s Peak boss also known as Klyssus has 2 minions to aid him in battle. He has a special passive ability that revives his minions whenever his HP (Hit Points aka Health) reaches to a certain threshold. If his minions were alive when his passive is triggered, each alive minion increases his success rate of freezing your champions. Hence, its crucial to focus on defeating the minions before taking on the boss. His minions are very dangerous as they can apply Heal Reduction to prevent your champions from recovering their health, and Decrease Defense debuff to have your champions receive additional AoE damage from the boss. There are 2 difficulties for Ice Golem, which are Normal (Klyssus) and Hard (Tainted Klyssus) where Hard mode has a chance to drop Mythical rarity artifacts.
Numbing Chill (Cooldown 4 turns) Attacks all enemies. Places a 50% [Decrease ACC] debuff for 2 turns.
Frigid Vengeance [Passive] Attacks all enemies 1 time whenever Klyssus’s HP drops below 80%, 60%, 45%, 30% and 15%. This attack will revive any dead allies to 100% HP. This attack ignores 50% of each enemy’s DEF for each alive ally. This attack also has a 20% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff for 1 turn. The chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff increases by 40% for each alive ally.
Almighty Immunity [Passive] Immune to [Stun], [Freeze], [Sleep], [Provoke], [Block Active Skills], [Fear] and [True Fear] debuffs. Also immune to HP exchange effects, HP balancing effets and cooldown increasing effects.
Alimighty Strength [Passive] Damage from skills that scale based on enemy MAX HP cannot exceed 10% of the Boss’ MAX HP when attacking the Boss. This skill is unlock at Dungeon Stage 21~25.
Almighty Persistence [Passive] All Turn Meter reduction effects are decreased by 50% when used against the Boss. This skill is unlock on Dungeon Stage 21~25.
Klyssus Guide
There are a few strategies to tackle Ice Golem’s Peak. The first is to bring in Block Revive champions to prevent Klyssus’s minions from reviving. These champions must be build to deal high amount of damage to successfully defeat them in 1 hit to enable the Block Revive to take place. The Block Revive does not require Accuracy for it to work.
The second approach is to use Poison debuff to decreases Klyssus’s HP (Hit Points aka Health) whenever it reaches his turn. His passive skill will not activate if the damage is done by Poison or HP Burn that causes his HP to drop below a certain threshold. As a result, your team gets to avoid the extra damage from Klyssus passive skill. Things to avoid is dealing high amount of damage to the boss himself as it will activate his passive skill to demolish your team. If it does not knockout your team, he will end up freezing them instead when the 2 minions are alive.
To reduce the time taken to complete the Ice Golem peak (e.g. under 3 minutes), ensure you have at least 1 champion who can inflict Decrease Defense debuff on the enemies and have a Support champion who can buff allies with Increase Attack buff (for Attack Champions) or Increase Defense buff (for Defense Champions) as well as Increase Speed to enable your champions to take multiple turns before the enemies turn.

Tainted Klyssus Guide
The key to defeating Tainted Klyssus and his minions is using [HP Burn] debuffs: not only do they deal increased damage to Tainted Klyssus, but they also destroy his minions’ MAX HP. HP Burn Champions like Ninja and Walking Tomb Dreng will be very efficient here.
Much like his Normal counterpart, Tainted Klyssus constantly revives his minions when his HP drops below a certain threshold. Old strategies still apply here; you can prevent his minions from reviving by using [Block Revive] debuffs. Alternatively, you can keep the minions alive, place [HP Burn] debuffs on them and continually extend their duration. This will not only reduce their MAX HP, but deal consistent damage to Tainted Klyssus as well. If you don’t have a HP Burn Champion, the Brimstone Blessing can be very useful. The [Smite] debuff it places will deal extra damage to Tainted Klyssus and his team.
To survive Tainted Klyssus’s attacks, you’ll need to protect your Champions. For this, you want to place [Increase DEF] and [Shield] buffs on your Champions, and maybe consider equipping them with Bolster and Defiant Artifact Sets. Another must-have debuff is [Decrease ATK]. Tainted Klyssus hits hard, so you’ll need to make his hits weaker in order to survive them.
And, of course, you’ll want to make sure that you’re dealing loads of damage to Tainted Klyssus and his minions — [Decrease DEF] and [Weaken] debuffs will help you with that.
@Lindsey – that team works like a charm. It also helps to have someone in destroy gear to permanently take the minions down.

If you havent built an Armiger…get too it…will help you a ton.
I havent yet so i have found better luck running Hard over normal in time using
DOuble burner with 3 supports/revivers…times are between 9-12 minutes
Drexthar, Artak , Scyl, Duchess Lilitu and Godseeker Anri. Downs the boss on auto and is really fun. Obviously its slower than most times, but until i can build optimal teams im using this strategy…beat all levels of Hard using them

Forget all my previous posts, I was in error. Block Revive cannot be resisted and it doesn’t require accuracy to work.
The reason my Fenax and Foli’s attacks sometimes resulted in killing the Ice Golem’s minions, but not preventing their revival, is because the bonus damage from Warmaster and Giant Slayer masteries does not count towards Block Revive.
Meaning if the base damage from Fenax and Foli’s attacks is not enough to kill a minion, and the bonus damage from the Warmaster or Giant Slayer masteries is what kills it instead, then the minion will revive.

Armiger is not a 4-star Uncommon champ in Ice Golem. He’s a 5-star. I will DIE on this hill lol

After closer observation, it appears to be a bug, so Accuracy may not matter in Block Revive. I’ve caught the game not displaying any resisted message when killing the minions with Fenax’s A1 attack & Foli’s A3 attack. Sometimes it does say resisted, but I think they’re resisting the Evil Eye Mastery I have on Fenax, not the Block Revive.
I’ll report this bug to Plarium.

Block Revive of the Ice Golem’s minions DOES require accuracy. While farming Ice Golem 20, I’ve witnessed minions repeatedly resisting both Fenax’s A1 attack & Foli’s A3 attack Block Revive when they die. A Resisted indicator will appear and they’ll be resurrected the next time Frigid Vengeance is used.
Either that or Plarium has a bug in their app.

Why don’t you show which artifact sets drop here? I came to this page just to find out.
@Vino: Drop by to the Discord channel (the link is on the right sidebar) and post your screenshots of your champions so I can take a look and provide some recommendations to setup a team composition for your Ice Golem 25.
@Morild: Ninja is already added to the Ice Golem list above!

Ninja needs to be added to the Lego Top list Ice Golem

Any suggestion for a budget ice golem 25 team? As few crazy lego as possible I hope? I can do up to 24 but even 2nd wave lv25 kill me dead I never even get to see the boss…
@rotem melamed: It’s already fixed. The Fire Knight is used as a template/placeholder to fill in the remaining information later on.

I don’t see Coldheart being any good in Ice Golem Peak, his attacks are intended for heavy single-target and the debuffs are not really of use here.
On the other hand,Mother Superior deserves clearly an “S”, think of it as a sort of Apothecary with two heals instead of 1, plus a permanent, less powerful speed aura than apothecary buff. It really came handy for me to get to stage 17 (my current limit).

@Esarhaddon: I have removed Saito ranking in 4 Star Legendary list. Thanks for pointing out the duplicate entry!
Saito is listed in both 5 star and 4 star legendary categories for Ice Golem, here. Not that I have him, just happened to notice.
You can use reduce Max HP in the minions, and when they
ress their life is reduced.
