Usable in Scarab King because of the shield buff? Just wondering if maybe a bump up because of that?
Hi, thanks for the website. I’ve just noticed that Hungerer is two stars on this page for Faction Wars, but three stars on the raid-shadow-legends-champion-ranking-in-faction-wars page. Should they be the same?
Most useful points first, questions/pontification below:
Anyone here for masteries should maybe question whether to get him masteries at all, but if you don’t have five better Ogryn for crypts, most of the classic tier 1-2 options are good: Keen Strike, Shield Breaker, Defiant, Steadfast, Pinpoint Accuracy, Exalt in Death. Note that I left out Deadly Precision: It becomes better than Blade Disciple somewhere around 2500 ATK, and he should never get there. He’s not a hitter, and you’ll hopefully drop him before the point where an ATK champ would hit 2500 ATK. If you give him any offense masteries at all, Blade Disciple is better before that point (and you get one free reset), unless you’re making multiple mistakes, or a meme squad.
Also, I keep leaning toward CB gear in faction crypts for sustain/survivability. Crypts and campaign feel like the two most similar gametypes, and the only reason they don’t /feel/ like it is because they limit my champion pool, making me feel underpowered? And if they are almost identical to campaign, does that mean that I’m simply wrong to want to use CB builds, or only that once I have good crypt squads with good gear, then campaign gear will /become/ generally better?
For Hungerer in particular, it makes less of a difference. Life sets provide survivability anyway. He’s probably better for compromise gear builds than many champs (if you’re compromising by using life for everything–compromising by using lifesteal is about the same for him as for others).
