Fire Knight Guide | Raid Shadow Legends Dungeon Bosses
Raid Shadow Legends Fire Knight’s Castle boss also known as Fyro puts up a Divine Shield when he begins his turn, Stage 1-6 has 5 Shield, Stage 7-9 has 7 Shield, Stage 10~20 has 10 Shield and Stage 21~25 has 12 Shield. This shield absorbs 80% of the incoming damage from your champions and makes him immune to any debuff when the divine shield is active. In addition, Fyro heals himself and performs an AoE attack against your team if you are unable to break all of his shield before he begins his turn. His attack also decreases your Champion’s MAX HP up to 40%, which allows him to 1 hit KO your champion’s if they are squishy low HP/Defense champions.

Fyro Boss Skills

  • Searing Storm: Attacks all enemies. Decreases enemy MAX HP by 15% of damage dealt.
  • Dazzling Flames (Cooldown 5 turns): Attacks all enemies. Places a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 3 turns.
  • Cloak of Fire [Passive]: Starts the battle with a divine shield. While active, the shield reduces the damage Fyro receives by 80% and prevents Fyro from receiving any Debuffs or being affected by other Skill effects. This shield cannot be removed by Skills that remove Debuffs. Each hit Fyro takes decreases the strength of the shield. The shield will be broken when hit enough times. The shield regenerates every turn. If Fyro starts a turn with the shield active, Fyro will attack all enemies 1 time. The attack will decrease each enemy’s MAX HP. Fyro also heals at the start of every turn. The value of the heal and the damage dealt increases according to the strength of the shield at the time of the attack.
  • Almighty Immunity [Passive] Immune to [Stun], [Freeze], [Sleep], [Provoke], [Block Active Skills], [Block Passive Skills], [Fear] and [True Fear] debuffs. Also immune to HP exchange effects, HP balancing effects, and cooldown increasing effects.
  • Alimighty Strength [Passive] Damage from skills that scale based on enemy MAX HP cannot exceed 10% of the Boss’ MAX HP when attacking the Boss. This skill is unlock at Dungeon Stage 21~25.
  • Almighty Persistence [Passive] All Turn Meter reduction effects are decreased by 50% when used against the Boss. This skill is unlock on Dungeon Stage 21~25.

Fyro Guide

There are few strategies to counter Fyro the Boss and his minions in the first 2 rounds. You will need at least a Speed champion who buff your team with Increase Speed and Increase Turn Meter, a champion who has Counterattack or Reflect Damage skill so your team can perform more attacks to break the shield quickly, at least 3 Champions who has multiple attack hits on their A1 (default skill) which totals up to 10 to break Fyro’s Divine Shield, a Crowd Control champion who has Stun/Sleep/Freeze to control the minions. Some minions are very powerful who can 1 shot KO your champion using their A2 or A3 skill. Therefore, a Block Cooldown Skill is helpful if you do have them in your champion inventory and finally a champion who can Decrease Turn Meter to prevent Fyro from taking his turn!

Tainted Fyro Boss Skills

  • Crushing Firestrike: Attacks all enemies. Destroys enemy MAX HP by 15% of the damage dealt. When destroying MAX HP, will ignore [Shield] buffs.
  • Corrupting Blaze: Attacks all enemies. Places a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff and a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 3 turns. Destroys enemy MAX HP by 15% of the damage dealt.
  • Bloodflame Cloak (Passive): Starts the battle with a divine shield. While active, the shield reduces the damage Tainted Fyro receives by 80% and prevents Tainted Fyro from receiving any debuffs or being affected by other skill effects. This shield cannot be removed by skills that remove buffs. Each hit Tainted Fyro takes decreases the strength of the shield. The shield will be broken when hit enough times. The shield regenerates every turn. If Tainted Fyro starts a turn with the shield active, Tainted Fyro will attack all enemies 1 time. The attack will destroy each enemy’s MAX HP. Tainted Fyro also heals at the start of every turn. The value of the heal and the damage dealt increases according to the strength of the shield at the time of the attack.
  • Quell the Flames (Passive): Instantly removes any [Freeze] debuffs placed on Tainted Fyro. Decreases Tainted Fyro’s Turn Meter by 15% for each [Freeze] debuff placed on him. When attacked, destroys the attacker’s MAX HP by 1% per hit if the divine shield is currently active.
  • Tainted Immunity (Passive): Immune to [Stun], [Sleep], [Provoke], [Block Active Skills], [Block Passive Skills], [Fear], [True Fear], and [Petrification] debuffs. Also immune to HP exchange effects, HP balancing effects, Turn Meter decreasing effects, and cooldown increasing effects.
  • Almighty Strength (Passive): Damage from skills that scale based on enemy MAX HP cannot exceed 10% of the Boss’ MAX HP when attacking the Boss.
  • Awakened Weakness (Passive): Decreases the damage inflicted by the Boss for each Awakening Level on the target Champion (2.5% for Levels 1-2 and 5% for Levels 3-6, stacks up to 25%). Increases the damage received by the Boss for each Awakening Level on the attacking Champion (5% for Levels 1-2 and 10% for Levels 3-6, stacks up to 50%).

Tainted Fyro Guide

  • Raiding the Fire Knight’s Castle can be tough at the best of times, but taking on Tainted Fyro will really put your skills to the test. Luckily, he can be overcome with the right Champions in your team!
  • The key is to fill your team with Champions who can hit multiple times in a single attack, preferably on their first skill so that it’s always available. This is the best way to ensure that you can break Tainted Fyro’s Bloodflame Cloak shield. [Counterattack] and [Reflect Damage] buffs will also come in handy, as well as the Phantom Touch and Ward of the Fallen Blessings. This time though, Tainted Fyro will destroy an attacking Champion’s MAX HP by 1% every time they hit him while the shield is up. You’ll need to keep track of how much MAX HP you’ve lost, and the perfect time to restore it.
  • You’ll also need powerful debuffs to defeat Tainted Fyro, but you can’t apply them until his shield is broken. Once you’ve opened him up to attack, you’ll want to place [Heal Reduction], [Weaken], and [Decrease DEF] debuffs to deal plenty of damage. You’ll also want to make sure that this hot-headed foe doesn’t get a chance to raise his shield again. Placing [Decrease SPD] debuffs on him is a must, and you should also look to put out [Freeze] debuffs. Tainted Fyro will instantly remove these [Freeze] debuffs, but his Turn Meter will be decreased by 15% for each one removed, keeping him out of the fight and preventing him from raising his shield again.
  • One of the main differences between Fyro and Tainted Fyro is that all of Tainted Fyro’s attacks will destroy your Champion’s MAX HP. Champions like Marichka the Unbreakable, or Blessings like Miracle Heal can help you restore that destroyed HP.
  • To defeat Tainted Fyro, you can use one of these two strategies depending on whether you have a fast team or a slower one. For the faster teams out there, you’ll want to start with boosting your own Turn Meter before placing multiple hits on Tainted Fyro to break his shield. From there, you can start placing [Freeze] debuffs on Tainted Fyro to control the pace of the fight. Slower teams will have to rely more on the [Counterattack] and [Reflect Damage] buffs mentioned earlier. After placing them, just wait for Tainted Fyro to attack and watch as your team’s counterattacks bring that shield down. After that, it’s back to Turn Meter control and placing [Freeze] debuffs.
  • You’ll also need to plan for the waves of Champions leading up to Tainted Fyro himself. For this, you will need Champions that use powerful AoE attacks and can control multiple enemies at once. The Brimstone Blessing will come in helpful here.

I make FK 20 with this team: Elhain, Tomb Lord, Alure, High Khatun and Criodan.

  2. Peter Hogg

Hi folks. I am building a Fire Knight team. Can anyone suggest the best equipment for Coldheart for Fire Knight?. I have her at level 50 and in Critical Rate, Accuracy & Cruel.
Thanks so much for the site, amazing.

  3. KWAM/E

what stage do you need to get to to get 6 star savage equipment

  4. courageouslio

@AlekaVivi poison debuffs stack so if you have a few champions that you can put into your team without sacrificing the success rate then do that

  5. AlekaVivi

    *Debufs !!! OMG! 🙈

  6. AlekaVivi

    *debuts, sorry!

  7. AlekaVivi

I need to put 10 simultaneously debuts on Fire Night, how can I do that????

  8. courageouslio

    8 minutes per run*

  9. courageouslio

ive got duchess, armiger, fahrakin, brakus, and tomb lord. my current run time for FK20 is around 6 minutes, but the first 4 minutes of that are pushing through the first 2 rounds, who would yall recommend for those and who would yall suggest i replace

  10. ragetiger

Do you have the stats for the waves to know the highest defense to calculate against for seer damage? I saw Hellhades has the data but it’s locked to his website membership.

  11. Michael Tunudd

Hi Ash. I got a “good” problem I guess. But it becomes bigger and bigger. I have played for 7-8 months now and the problem is that I just saving 5 and 6 star now. And even if they increased Inbox from 300 to 400 items the problem just get bigger. What is worth saving? I have ditched all Cure-items and only collect 6-star Daze. But what shall I sell/destroy and what is worth saving? In the long run I probably(?) just want 6-star items but there is a long way to that! For hands, chest and feet I just collect %-items (and of course Resist and ACC ). So do You know how to save items smart? “Unusable” groups? Etc. How to think smart and not sitting with full inventory and 400 items in the Inbox? I have resolved to having Champions I don’t want to use/upgrade to be a store-champions. But that is not practical. Is there some way You can guide us?
    Sure would be gratful!

@Knctrnl — advice, sure, but you probably won’t enjoy it, because even with the new changes that allow us to specify more input to the AI you can’t program something like “kill Paragon first”. Instead focus on the unkillable minions to target them first (click on your target as soon as the wave comes up so you see a red 4-quarter circle around their feet). This kind of focussing to sidestep the AI is super annoying if that’s a stage you need to run all the time, but if you’re just trying to get past it once in a while, it will do the trick. You might have to manual the entire wave so you can stop the TM controllers from using that ability at an inopportune time (sometimes it’s of course useful, like if you don’t want the minion to even get the unkillable buff up in the first place).

  13. Steve

Armiger is a god if your tactic is turn meter manipulation. Should be a 5 star
(PS a team can never have too many Armigers)

  14. Knctrnl

Ok so on Stage 18 1st wave of Fire Knight doing auto. One of the minions goes Unkillable.
Basically after 40 mins still stuck with my team hitting the unkillable. Due to Allure and Armiger in the team it is a never ending cycle.
I am running Scyl, Skullcrusher, Skullcrown Allure and Armiger.
Trying to get to stage 20 for Arbiter missions. Anyone have any advice?

  15. Kat H

Just a note that Panthers is missing from this list (and has a high ranking on her page so is a useful add)

  16. Teacup

Alure herself can keep FK from getting a turn.
put some poison on FK, use Zavia you can deal 1M+ damage on her A3
    Tomb Lord for poison
    Dracomorph for poison and debuff

  17. RobinHawk

delete my post I was being dumb. I obviously can’t tell the difference between the fire knight and the Force Keep.

  18. RobinHawk

I notice that Tallia is rated here as a 5-Star for the fire knight. On her page she is rated as a 1-Star for the Fire Keep. I would say the 1-Star is more correct for this dungeon.

  19. KoS

Kantra is listed here as a 5 star vs Fire Knight, but in her guide she gets only 4

  20. Waldo

Stage 7 and 8 Fyro can take 10 hits on his divine shield! I appreciate your hard work!

  21. Kaleb L Maier

I’m surprised you didn’t include healing block debuff as a mandatory skill needed to beat Fyro. Ronan is the champion i use to accomplish defeating this boss at level 20.

  22. Neuroatypical

In my humble opinion, Prince Kymar should be S tier in your list rather than 2 star. His ability to reset the whole teams’ cooldown skills does a whole lot of good, even though he is affinity-countered on level 20.

  23. Drasti

Hi, I just wanted to point out that your video titles all say “Dragon’s lair” instead of “Fire Knight”. This websites amazing, thanks for all of the great information.

  24. Juergen

Skull Lord Var-Gall is missing in the list – he can be pretty decent here

  25. Scott

Crimson Slayer should be added to the S tier for rares on this list. Multi hit a1, heal reduction, turn meter reduction, and a good affinity for stage 20. That champ was built for FK.

  26. Daniel r

What does the stars means? 5 star 4 stars?

  27. Qmungous

I had to use Queen Eva to beat 17. Heal Reduction + affinity. Took forever but finally did it!

Rest of team was Apoth, Turvold, Peydma and level 50 Fellhound.

  28. Matthias Schuster

    Abeve:

This is just for the fireknight. Outlaw is good for clanboss, saurus and shieldguard for farming.

All three maybe to a certain level of faction crypts

    @Ayumi

Armiger has a turn meter reduction on his A1, how is this a 2/5?

Putting him in speedy gear lets him reduce the turn meter twice each turn of the fireknight

    Which means 60%

  29. Sharece

I was wondering when you might have the list complete for epic and rare champions?

  30. Abeve

    Outstanding work!! Thank you

An aside – I really would have Saurus , Outlaw…and Shieldguard in the god tier.

  31. LeiaLouise

    Your work is amazing!
    Thanks a lot!
