Ailil Champion Lore Synopsis

Ailil, known as the Lord of the Faunas, was a silent guardian of the Mistwood, devoted to protecting its creatures. Many believed he was a gift from the forest itself, tending to the animals with unwavering care. He lived in solitude, keeping his distance from the Sylvan people, preferring the company of the wild. With his scythe in hand, he moved seamlessly through the trees, shaping the environment to ensure the safety of his animal charges. Before darkness touched the Mistwood, Ailil’s presence remained largely unseen, but his influence was deeply felt by all who called the forest home.

The Sylvan revered Ailil as a shepherd of nature, leaving him gifts — woven flowers and carved trinkets — near trees and nests, hoping to guide his protection toward vulnerable animals. However, this act angered him. He needed no guidance, for he could already sense every creature’s distress as if it were his own. Suspicious of the Sylvan’s intentions, he began watching from the treetops, determined to stop those who dared to disturb his forest. His first confrontation was with a young Elven girl who approached an injured mother boar’s den, bringing a chain of flowers as an offering.

Speaking in a voice ancient as the woods, Ailil demanded to know why she intruded. To his surprise, the girl knelt and pleaded, explaining that she wished only to ask for his help in protecting the boar’s piglets. Though Ailil had already healed the creature, he was moved by her compassion. When she revealed that all the Sylvan offerings were left in the same spirit, he returned them, assuring her that he already watched over every lost and wounded animal. Word spread quickly, and the Sylvan finally learned his name, calling him the Lord of the Faunas. Though he remained distant from their society, they understood he needed no guidance in his duty.

But then, the Mistwood fell into darkness. Corruption severed Ailil’s connection to his animals, leaving him unable to hear their cries, though their suffering burned within him. The Sylvan struggled against this evil, while desperate villagers resumed their offerings, hoping to lead him to those in need. Yet too often, Ailil arrived too late — hunters skinned foxes, butchered deer, and set fire to nesting grounds. Enraged, he took up his scythe and became the hunter, relentlessly tracking those who delighted in harming the forest’s creatures. He struck with merciless precision, but no matter how fiercely he fought, he could not halt the destruction alone.

Realising the battle was beyond his lone efforts, Ailil reluctantly joined the Sylvan Watchers. As long as they shared his purpose — to protect the forest — he would fight beside them. With unmatched strength and skill, he tore through the enemy, his scythe as swift and deadly as an autumn wind. Yet, he remained true to himself; if he sensed kindness toward beasts in an opponent, he stayed his hand, regardless of orders. This made him a divisive figure among the Watchers — some saw him as unreliable, while others admired his unwavering integrity. But one truth remained certain: as long as the creatures of the Mistwood suffered, the Lord of the Faunas would never rest.

I like it when he’s buffed, and most people hate him so much that he’s trash, but not anymore; they buffed him, and they changed his aura to a critical rate of attack. I don’t have him, but I need to get him. Wish me luck, guys.

I posted previous comment before their patched A2, and I was really frustrated with SS bug. Took Scamium half a year to fix it. Fail. Well, now to the redemption for Ailil – he started to work in Arena. 🙂

I’ve build him with 6xCruel, CD 200+ and trying to get 6k ATK now. With proper set up he does 125k+ hits with A2. I actually think it’s one of best Arena champions. Not a straight up nuker, but rather quite tactical character. Ok, I will say it – Ailil is great. LOL

If only his SS steal worked all the time and AOE hit a bit harder, he would be insane. But still, Ailil is amazing Arena champion and I’m using him there all the time. xD

Ailli is amazing in Arena. He counters Pythion and Mythrala with erasing their Strengthen buffs. He is not a straight up nuker, but require planning and strategy when playing. My only complaint is that I wish his A2 hits a bit hard.

I use Ailil everywhere. He isn’t built for campaign but he is my campaign farmer, faster than Kael. Use him in all potion keeps, doom tower floor (normal, I use defence nukers for hard), Arena. Even used him in Fire knight to prevent Allure from creating infinite loops during wave clearance. He is in my view pretty much usable everywhere.

Ailil is AMAZING and holds a specific place within the current META. Maybe it’s supposed to be a secret?? Not sure but he is NUTS.

  6. Katana Drama

Even after the buff I have heard of 1 CC in particular trashtalk him and him only. I was lucky enough to pull him and I’m sure glad I did.

    @Exar
As a response to the comment below….Have you used Ailil? You either haven’t or have watched one of your favorite content creators trash talk him before he was buffed. Ailil is an absolute BEAST. Do NOT sleep on him. If your lucky enough to pull him you will see what I’m talking about. He is extremely resilient and tricky to deal with. The only downside to him is sheep but isn’t that a downside to 90% of useful arena champs? lol. If you do have him then you are using him wrong and you need to restructure your method on making this brilliant champs kit do what it does best.

  8. Exar

Looks really amazing with that scythe.
Works crappy as the damage is underwhelming and fancy buffs/debuffs cannot change it.

Plarium’s usual scam the perfect way.

@Eric: Thanks for your input. I have removed the ACC recommendation from the equipment guide since his skills do not require Accuracy to perform its effects.

So, its a special event fo 2 days, whole 2 days oh my…..If u have your 110 pull from void shard u get him guarenteed, ok its all good and fine, lets check the shop, there is a special void discount 7 shards for 23.99 €, its limited for 3 times, but lets say its unlimited, u need 100 shards, 7 shards in pack, 7 X 14 to get 100, 98 more specific, 23.99 X 14= 335 €, so 335 € for a f….champion, are u insane, and thats all with special offers, 5 void pack costs 119.99 €, so normal price voud be 119.99 X 20 to get 100, its freaking 2399 €, and we are talking about a champion in a game, i am very disappointed in this game…..pay to win nothing else, sad.

  11. Eric

Why does he need ACC? His A1 and A3 both state “buff removal and debuff placement cannot be resisted.”

  12. Stephan

I already pulled him but i didn’t build him yet.. but now its cvc so lets try and make a build

  13. sin

I want him as much as nekhret, he will be mine.
