Raid Shadow Legends Champion Blessings Guide

Blessings is a new feature introduced in Raid Shadow Legends to aid players in strengthening their champions to tackle challenging content such as Hydra Clan Boss, Demon Lord Clan Boss, Doom Tower, and Dungeons! Blessings were released in Patch 6.00 (6th September 2022) along with Awakening System, which requires champions to be awakened before they are able to unlock the Blessing!

Raid Shadow Legends Champion Blessings Overview - Light, Dark, War, and Chaos

Blessings Overview

  • Blessings are powerful new abilities that can completely transform how a Champion performs, unlocking new levels of strength. They become available after Awakening your Champion to at least Level 1!
  • Each champion can only use one Blessing at a time, and it will be indicated on the Champion’s icon. As Blessings are dependent on Awakening, they are only available to Rare, Epic, and Legendary Champions.
  • Each Blessing belongs to a Divinity, and each Divinity has Rare, Epic, and Legendary Blessings. Rare Champions can only access Rare Blessings, Epic Champions can only access Epic and Rare Blessings, and Legendary Champions can access all Blessings.
  • There are 4 types of Divinities, which are Light, Dark, War, and Chaos!
  • Each Blessing has 6 Levels, and improving these Levels is directly tied to a Champion’s Awakening Level. So, if your Champion is at Level 5 of Awakening, they will receive the Level 5 benefits of any Blessing you choose automatically. The benefits of leveling up are unique to each Blessing, from improving stat bonuses to unlocking new effects and abilities.
  • If you choose a Blessing for a Champion that is of a lower Rarity than the Champion’s Rarity, they will receive additional stat bonuses at certain Levels. For example, if a Legendary Champion takes a Rare or Epic Blessing, or an Epic Champion takes a Rare Blessing.
  • Blessings can be swapped at any time. Like Masteries, the first change is free but any subsequent changes will cost Gems. You can change to any Blessing available from any Divinity, but switching Blessings within the same Divinity will be slightly cheaper.

Light Blessings

Icon Rare Light Blessings Description
Indomitable Spirit - Raid Shadow Legends Rare Light Blessings

Indomitable Spirit

  • Has a chance of blocking any [Stun], [Sleep], and [Fear] debuffs whenever an enemy tries to place them on this Champion. (Cooldown: 1 turn)

Awakening Level

  • 1★ 5% chance of blocking debuffs.
  • 3★ 10% chance of blocking debuffs.
  • 5★ 15% chance of blocking debuffs.
  • 6★ 30% chance of blocking debuffs with no cooldown.

Who should use this blessing?

Indomitable Spirit blessing is utilized to block crowd control debuff from being applied to your champion by the enemies. The downside of this blessing is the success rate of blocking is low and it does not block all crowd control debuff. Having a high resistance stat will allow your champion to block all types of debuffs consistently and effectively making your battles more predictable.

Who should use this blessing?

Miracle Heal blessing has a niche usage, where it’s primarily used against Hydra Clan Boss as one of the Hydra heads is able to destroy your champion’s Max HP each time they receive healing. Hence, it’s best to use Miracle Heal blessing on heroes who can heal to recoup the loss of Max HP done by the Hydra. This blessing is recommended for Apothecary, Rector Drath, Reliquary Tender, and Vogoth.

It’s the successor of Commanding Presence with better effects. It’s highly recommended for this blessing be applied to a Supporter hero who is mostly used in many team setups. Recommended champions for this blessing are Arbiter, Lady Kimi, Nekhret the Great, Ursuga Warcaller.

Lightning Cage - Raid Shadow Legends Legendary Light Blessings

Lightning Cage

  • Whenever an enemy receives a buff or has their Turn Meter filled, place one [Lightning Orb] stack on this Champion.
  • When activated, a [Lightning Orb] stack randomly protects one other active buff from being removed, stolen, or transferred. After activation, the Lightning Orb stack disappears. A Champion can have a maximum of 3 [Lightning Orb] stacks at one time.
  • Whenever a Champion with 3 [Lightning Orb] stacks hits enemy targets, inflicts Bonus Damage to them based on their MAX HP. Bonus Damage can occur on each hit of a Skill, but does not count as an extra hit. After the Bonus Damage is applied, all active [Lightning Orb] stacks are removed from this Champion.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ Gains 1 [Lightning Orb] stack whenever an enemy receives a buff. [Lightning Orb] stacks have a 50% chance to protect a random buff from being stolen, removed, or transferred. Bonus Damage inflicted by each [Lightning Orb] stack is equivalent to 2% of an enemy Champion’s MAX HP or 1% of a Boss’ MAX HP.
  • 3★ Gains 1 [Lightning Orb] stack whenever an enemy receives a buff or has their Turn Meter filled.
  • 5★ [Lightning Orb] stacks have a 75% chance to protect a random buff from being stolen, removed, or transferred.
  • 6★ Bonus Damage inflicted by each [Lightning Orb] stack is equivalent to 5% of an enemy Champion’s MAX HP or 2.5% of a Boss’ MAX HP.

Who should use this blessing?

Lightning Cage blessing is a useful buff to protect your attacker heroes against an enemy debuffer heroes, especially in Arena. In addition, it helps your Attacker hero to deal additional damage with fully stacked Lightning Orbs too based on your hero’s Max Health! If you are using the Attacker hero on the enemy’s supporter hero who applies many buffs (e.g. Siphi the Lost Bride, Duchess Lilitu), they will gain additional Turn Meter quickly to be able to cut into the enemy sequence. It’s one of the best blessings to deal extra damage and protect your attacker heroes simultaneously! The recommended heroes for this blessing would be the ones that you use for both Arena Offense and Arena Defense, such as Candraphon and Cupidus.

Dark Blessings

Icon Rare Dark Blessings Description
Dark Resolve - Raid Shadow Legends Rare Dark Blessings

Dark Resolve

  • 3★ +1.5% damage for each dead ally.

  • 6★ +5.0% damage for each dead ally.

Who should use this blessing?

Dark Resolve blessing is suitable for damage nuker champions who has the ability to survive the enemy nuke while the rest of the allies are killed, such as Skullcrown and Leorius the Proud. It could also be used for your dungeon solo farmer so that they can do more damage through their abilities that does not rely on debuffs such as Poison, HP Burn, and Bomb.

Phantom Touch - Raid Shadow Legends Rare Dark Blessings

Phantom Touch

  • Has a chance of inflicting Bonus Damage to one enemy whenever this Champion hits enemy targets. When hitting multiple targets at once, only one Champion will receive Bonus Damage. (Cooldown: 1 turn)

Additional Information

  • Phantom Touch Damage Multiplier: 5 ATK (with 30% Ignore Defense)
  • Phantom Touch damage is not affected by mastery (e.g. Heart of Glory).
  • Phantom Touch damage is affected by artifact set (e.g. Savage, Lethal, Cruel) and buff (Increase Attack 25%/50%).
  • Phantom Touch is suited for Attacker Role champions with Attack multiplier, rather than Defense and HP champions.

Who should use this blessing?

Phantom Touch blessing is best suited for damage-dealing heroes in Arena, Clan Boss, Dungeons, Doom Tower, and Faction Wars. The damage dealt is a mini version of Warmaster or Giant Slayer (Tier 6 Offense Mastery). For Rare and Epic champions, you can go with this blessing to deal additional damage, whereas Legendary champions would go with Brimstone blessing as it’s a better version of Phantom Touch, especially for Support heroes and HP heroes! Recommended champions for this blessing are Coldheart, Bellower, Heiress, Maneater, Pain Keeper, and Seeker.

Icon Epic Dark Blessings Description
Cruelty - Raid Shadow Legends Epic Dark Blessings

Cruelty:

  • Whenever this Champion hits an enemy, decreases their DEF until the end of the Round. Occurs once per hit.
  • If multiple Champions have this Blessing, still cannot decrease a single Champion’s DEF by more than 40%, or decrease a Boss’ DEF by more than 20%.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ Decreases target DEF by 1% per hit (up to 10% for Champions; up to 5% for Bosses).
  • 3★ Decreases target DEF by 1% per hit (up to 20% for Champions; up to 10% for Bosses).
  • 5★ Decreases target DEF by 2% per hit (up to 30% for Champions; up to 15% for Bosses).
  • 6★ Decreases target DEF by 4% per hit (up to 40% for Champions; up to 20% for Bosses).

Who should use this blessing?

Cruelty blessing is best suited for champions who specialize in raiding clan bosses and dungeon bosses because it allows you to increase your team’s damage output significantly with the reduction of the enemy’s defense! It takes approximately 5 rounds for the boss’s defense to be decreased to the max of 20%! You only need 1 champion with this blessing to reduce the boss defense, and have the remaining champions with damage-boosting blessings such as Phantom Touch and Brimstone!. Recommended champions for this blessing are Deacon Armstrong, Demytha, Maneater, and Warcaster.

Lethal Dose - Raid Shadow Legends Epic Dark Blessings

Lethal Dose

  • Increases the damage enemies receive from [Poison] debuffs placed by this Champion in the Arena.
  • High Awakening Bonus: Will ignore 35% of each target’s RES when placing [Poison] debuffs on enemy Champions in the Arena.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ Increases the damage enemies receive from [Poison] debuffs by 50%.
  • 3★ Increases the damage enemies receive from [Poison] debuffs by 100%.
  • 5★ Increases the damage enemies receive from [Poison] debuffs by 200%.
  • 6★ Will ignore 35% of each target’s RES when placing [Poison] debuffs on enemy Champions.

Who should use this blessing?

Lethal Dose blessing is best suited for champions who specialize in inflicting Poison debuff on their enemies. However, Poison is not the meta right now in Arena as most of the battles are more towards AoE speed nuke battles to quickly rack up points to reach higher Arena tiers. In addition, it’s difficult to set up a Poison team for Arena to deal sufficient damage against enemies even with champions who can activate poison such as Kalvalax.

Icon Legendary Dark Blessings Description
Temporal Chains - Raid Shadow Legends Legendary Dark Blessings

Temporal Chains

  • Decreases each enemy’s SPD for each active buff they are under, except for the buffs placed at the start of the Round.
  • High Awakening Bonus: Whenever an enemy receives a third active buff, instantly decreases the Turn Meters of all enemies by a certain amount. (Cooldown: 4 turns)

Awakening Level

  • 1★ Decreases enemy SPD by 2% for each active buff (up to 6%)
  • 3★ Decreases enemy SPD by 3% for each active buff (up to 9%)
  • 5★ Decreases enemy SPD by 5% for each active buff (up to 15%)
  • 6★ Instantly decreases the Turn Meters of all enemies by 15% whenever any enemy receives a third active buff.

Who should use this blessing?

Temporal Chains blessing is utilized for competing in Speed battles, especially in Arena. However, this blessing is not that great compared to Intimidating Presence as it only applies speed reduction on the enemy but not improving your ally’s speed. Apart from that, Arena defense champions that are equipped in Stoneskin Set are immune to Temporal Chain’s Turn Meter reduction effects when they receive buffs from their allies. However, there could be a unique strategy using a combination of these 2 blessings (Intimidating Presence and Temporal Chains) in 1 team to significantly reduce the enemy’s speed depending on the enemy’s champion formation.

Ward of the Fallen - Raid Shadow Legends Legendary Dark Blessings

Ward of the Fallen

  • Starts each Round with a number of [Bone Armor] stacks. Each [Bone Armor] stack decreases the damage the recipient receives from a single hit, then disappears. A Champion can have a maximum of 3 [Bone Armor] stacks at one time.
  • High Awakening Bonus: Deals Bonus Damage to each enemy hit by this Champion. The number of times Bonus Damage is inflicted on each enemy target is equal to the number of dead allies. Bonus Damage is proportional to this Champion’s ATK. Adds one [Bone Armor] stack for each instance of Bonus Damage inflicted.
  • Bonus Damage will not be inflicted when damaging enemies through Masteries, Passive skills, reflected damage, [Poison], or [HP Burn] debuffs.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ Starts Round with 1 [Bone Armor] stack; [Bone Armor] stacks decrease damage received by 20%.
  • 3★ Starts Round with 2 [Bone Armor] stacks.
  • 5★ [Bone Armor] stacks decrease damage received by 30%.
  • 6★ Starts Round with 3 [Bone Armor] stacks. Inflicts Bonus Damage when attacking; Bonus Damage adds 1 [Bone Armor] stack.

Who should use this blessing?

Ward of the Fallen blessing is utilized mainly on attacker heroes by dealing extra bonus damage and decreasing the damage received. It’s similar to the Lightning Cage blessing but suited mainly against enemy champions that deal a massive amount of damage through direct hits rather than relying on debuffs to weaken your attacker hero. It’s preferable on champions who have in-built counter-attack abilities such as Cupidus so they can recharge the Bone Armor each time they attack the enemy!

War Blessings

Icon Rare War Blessings Description
Hero's Soul - Raid Shadow Legends Rare War Blessings

Hero’s Soul

  • Increases the damage inflicted to Bosses and their minions according to the number of living enemies.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ +0.5% damage for each enemy.
  • 3★ +1.0 % damage for each enemy.
  • 5★ +1.5% damage for each enemy.
  • 1★ +3.0% damage for each enemy.

Who should use this blessing?

Hero’s Soul blessing is mainly used against mobs of enemies, such as Spider’s Den, Nether Spider, and Frost Spider. It’s a useful blessing to improve your Rare champion’s damage output. However, for Epic and Legendary champions, there are better blessing options that you can take to deal more damage to the boss such as Phantom Touch, and Brimstone.

Faultless Defense - Raid Shadow Legends Rare War Blessings

Faultless Defense

  • Whenever an enemy attacks an ally under an [Increase DEF] buff placed by this Champion, reflects a portion of the damage back to the attacker.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ 3% of damage reflected.
  • 3★ 6% of damage reflected.
  • 5★ 9% of damage reflected.
  • 6★ 15% of damage reflected.

Who should use this blessing?

Faultless Defense blessing should be used by champion who can provide Increase Defense buff and it’s specialized for taking down Fire Knight shield quickly. It can be used in Clan Boss battles to reflect the damage to the boss to increase the overall damage output for better chest rewards.

Icon Epic War Blessings Description
Commanding Presence - Raid Shadow Legends Epic War Blessings

Commanding Presence

  • Strengthens your team’s Aura.
  • If multiple Champions on the same team have Commanding Presence, only one will work. If Champions on the same team have both the intimidating Presence and Commanding Presence Blessings, only intimidating Presence will work.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ Strengthens your team’s Aura by 2.5%.
  • 3★ Strengthens your team’s Aura by 7.5%.
  • 5★ Strengthens your team’s Aura by 15%.
  • 6★ Strengthens your team’s Aura by 35%.

Who should use this blessing?

Commanding Presence blessing is recommended to use on a Supporter hero who is used in many team setups. This is to avoid equipping many champions with this blessing, while the rest can be equipped with the damage-boosting blessing to improve your overall team’s damage output! You will save tons of gems in the long run without the need to constantly switch blessings.

Chainbreaker - Raid Shadow Legends Epic War Blessings

Chainbreaker

  • At the start of this Champion’s turn, has a chance of removing any [Stun], [Freeze], [Sleep], [Provoke], [Fear], [True Fear], or [Petrification] debuffs placed on this Champion. Only activates if this Champion is under any of these debuffs.
  • High Awakening Bonus: Whenever this Champion is hit by an enemy while under any of the debuffs mentioned above, has a chance of partially filling this Champion’s Turn Meter. Occurs once per hit.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ 10% chance of removing debuffs.
  • 3★ 15% chance of removing debuffs.
  • 5★ 20% chance of filling this Champion’s Turn Meter by 20% when hit.
  • 6★ 25% chance of removing debuffs. 40% chance of filling this Champion’s Turn Meter by 20% when hit.

Who should use this blessing?

Chainbreaker blessing is useful for removing all crowd control debuffs that were inflicted by the enemies. If the debuff wasn’t removed successfully upon taking their turn, each hit they receive during that period will boost their Turn Meter, so they can remove these debuffs by reducing the debuff duration by taking their next turn! However, the success rate of filling up the Turn Meter is pretty low and the fill rate is too little to make a comeback, especially in Arena where the battle is fast-paced. I would recommend opting for a different Epic blessing that could provide more value for your champions.

Icon Legendary War Blessings Description
Indomitable Spirit - Raid Shadow Legends Legendary War Blessings

Life Harvest

  • Destroys a portion of revived enemies’ MAX HP whenever they are revived.
  • Mid Awakening Bonus: Whenever enemies are revived, partially fill this Champion’s Turn Meter for each enemy revived.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ Destroys enemy MAX HP by 10%.
  • 3★ Destroys enemy MAX HP by 20%. Fills 10% of this Champion’s Turn Meter.
  • 5★ Destroys enemy MAX HP by 30%. Fills 20% of this Champion’s Turn Meter.
  • 6★ Destroys enemy MAX HP by 40%. Fills 30% of this Champion’s Turn Meter.

Who should use this blessing?

Life Harvest blessing is useful to tackle difficult enemies who relies heavily on revive to sustain their team, especially against Arena Teams and Doom Tower with multiple revivers (e.g. Siphi the Lost Bride, Duchess Lilitu). However, if your champion roster is fairly diverse and have sufficient end-game gears to handle these revivers easily, then this blessing will not be useful for you as it’s better to cleave your way using AoE Speed Nuke team with 1-2 hits to knock them out rather than slowly decreasing the revived fallen enemies Max HP. It’s recommended to opt for other Legendary blessings that enables your heroes to deal more damage as it will help you in other areas as well.

Soul Reap - Raid Shadow Legends War Legendary Blessings

Soul Reap

  • When this Champion hits an enemy target and decreases their HP to a certain threshold, a Reaper will appear and deal extra damage equal to the target’s remaining HP.
  • For AoE attacks, each target that has its HP reduced to the threshold in the attack, will be visited by a Reaper.
  • The Reaper will ignore DEF, as well as all damage reduction skills, effects, and buffs.
  • High Awakening Bonus: If the target survives, has a chance of placing a [True Fear] debuff for 1 turn.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ Target HP threshold: 4%.
  • 3★ Target HP threshold: 8%.
  • 5★ Target HP threshold: 14%. Has a 50% chance of placing [True Fear] debuff for 1 Turn if the target survives the Reaper.
  • 6★ Target HP threshold: 20%. Has a 100% chance of placing [True Fear] debuff for 1 Turn if the target survives the Reaper.

Who should use this blessing?

Soul Reap blessing is recommended for damage dealers to deal extra damage, especially for Arena Offense. The Soul Reaper appears after the initial attack and deals some damage to the target, which ignores their defensive buffs and has the chance of inflicting True Fear to crowd control them in case the enemies survive. The downside of this ability is the enemy’s current HP (Hit Points aka Health Points) needs to drop below a certain threshold to trigger this Soul Reap blessing such as below 20% HP if your damage nuker isn’t able to 1-hit knock out the enemy. Champions that are recommended for this blessing are Leorius the Proud, Trunda Giltmallet, and Candraphon.

Chaos Blessings

Icon Rare Chaos Blessings Description
Emergency Heal - Raid Shadow Legends Rare Chaos Blessings

Emergency Heal

  • Heals this Champion whenever a [Shield] buff placed on them expires, is removed, or is broken by an enemy attack. The value of the heal is equal to a portion of this Champion’s MAX HP. (Cooldown: 1 turn)

Awakening Level

  • 1★ Heals this Champion by 3% of their MAX HP.
  • 3★ Heals this Champion by 6% of their MAX HP.
  • 5★ Heals this Champion by 9% of their MAX HP.
  • 6★ Heals this Champion by 15% of their MAX HP.

Who should use this blessing?

Emergency Heal blessing is recommended for champions who can place Shield buff on themselves or to all allies including self. This is blessing is amazing for dungeon soloer such as Vergis against Borgoth the Scarab King in Doom Tower.

Survival Instinct - Raid Shadow Legends Rare Chaos Blessings

Survival Instinct

  • Partially fills this Champion’s Turn Meter whenever a debuff is placed, spread, or transferred onto them. Occurs once per enemy turn.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 5%
  • 3★ Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 7%
  • 5★ Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 10%
  • 6★ Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 10% with no turn restriction.

Who should use this blessing?

Survival Instinct blessing is useful for debuffer champions, especially for Poison champions of Rare rarity to allow them to gain more turn meter and finally gaining an additional turn to apply more stacks of Poison to deal damage.

Icon Epic Chaos Blessings Description
Crushing Rend - Raid Shadow Legends Epic Chaos Blessings

Crushing Rend

  • Each Round, a number of this Champion’s hits will ignore a percentage of the target’s DEF. The percentage of ignored DEF depends on the Level of the target.
  • High Awakening Bonus: Every hit this Champion inflicts will ignore a percentage of the target’s DEF.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ The first hit each Round will ignore a percentage of the target’s DEF. Will ignore 1% DEF for every 50 Levels
  • 3★ The first hit each Round will ignore a percentage of the target’s DEF. Will ignore 1% DEF for every 40 Levels
  • 5★ The first two hits each Round will ignore a percentage of the target’s DEF. Will ignore 1% DEF for every 25 Levels
  • 6★ Every hit will ignore a percentage of the target’s DEF. Will ignore 1% DEF for every 10 Levels.

Who should use this blessing?

Crushing Rend blessing is best suited for damage nukers against tanky enemies who have a high amount of Defense stats. It can be used for PvE content (Player vs Environment) such as Hydra Clan Boss where the higher the level of the enemies, the more defense it can be ignored! For example, you can ignore defense up to 31% if you use this blessing against a Level 310 Hydra Clan Boss. However, it does not provide a significant amount of damage to Demon Lord Clan Boss as its based Defense stats are much lower than Hydra Clan Boss.

Incinerate - Raid Shadow Legends Epic Chaos Blessings

Incinerate

  • Increases the damage inflicted by [HP Burn] debuffs placed by this Champion in the Arena.
  • High Awakening Bonus: Whenever a [HP Burn] debuff placed by this Champion inflicts damage on an enemy, their MAX HP will also be destroyed by the same amount. Only works in Arena battles.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ Increases damage from [HP Burn] debuffs by 25%
  • 3★ Increases damage from [HP Burn] debuffs by 50%
  • 5★ Increases damage from [HP Burn] debuffs by 100%
  • 6★ Decreases enemy Turn Meter when they receive damage from [HP Burn] debuffs.

Who should use this blessing?

Incinerate blessing is best suited for champions who specialize in inflicting HP Burn debuff on their enemies. However, HP Burn is not the meta right now in Arena as most of the battles are more towards AoE speed nuke battles to quickly rack up points to reach higher Arena tiers. In addition, it’s difficult to set up an HP Burn team for Arena to deal sufficient damage against enemies even with champions who can activate HP Burn such as Ninja and Sicia Flametongue.

Icon Legendary Chaos Blessings Description
Polymorph - Raid Shadow Legends Legendary Chaos Blessings

Polymorph

  • Has a chance of placing a [Sheep] debuff on enemy Champions for 2 turns whenever they place debuffs on this Champion or remove or steal buffs from them. Occurs once per enemy turn. This debuff cannot be blocked, or placed on Bosses.
  • Champions under [Sheep] debuffs lose access to their normal skills, and can only use the following [Sheep] skill.
  • [Sheep Skill] Attacks 1 enemy. Any ally Sheep will join this attack. has a 50% chance of removing the [Sheep] debuff from this Champion after attacking.
  • Whenever a [Sheep] debuff expires or the Sheep is defeated, the affected Champion will return to battle with 50% HP.
  • The [Sheep] debuff requires ACC to be placed, and can be resisted.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ 5% chance of placing a [Sheep] debuff.
  • 3★ 10% chance of placing a [Sheep] debuff
  • 5★ 15% chance of placing a [Sheep] debuff
  • 6★ 20% chance of placing an irresistible [Sheep] debuff.

Who should use this blessing?

Polymorph blessing is recommended for highly resistant tanky champions, especially in setting up an Arena Stall Team. The drawback of this blessing is the enemy is able to cast their abilities before the Polymorph occurs (e.g. remove buffs, inflict Decrease Defense, and Weaken). This results in the enemy AoE Speed Nuke team can cleave their way through your defense without much hassle. In addition, it provides the enemies a way to heal themselves with 50% Health upon recovering from Polymorph. It’s recommended to opt for other useful Blessings unless you would want to improve your RESIST since there aren’t many Blessings that offer it.

Brimstone - Raid Shadow Legends Legendary Chaos Blessings

Brimstone

  • Whenever this Champion attacks, each hit has a chance to place a [Smite] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Champions under the [Smite] debuff will be hit by a meteorite when they use an Active Skill. The meteorite inflicts damage equal to 25% of the affected Champion’s MAX HP, and will also inflict damage to all other enemy Champions equal to 5% of their MAX HP.
  • Only one [Smite] debuff can be active per team at any point. It cannot be removed, blocked, resisted, or transferred.

Awakening Level

  • 1★ 15% chance of placing a [Smite] debuff
  • 3★ 30% chance of placing a [Smite] debuff
  • 5★ 60% chance of placing a protected [Smite] debuff
  • 6★ 100% chance of placing a protected [Smite] debuff.

Who should use this blessing?

Brimstone blessing is suited for high HP (Hit Points aka Health Points) such as HP role or Support role champions to deal additional damage to the enemy, especially against bosses! The damage dealt is through the Smite debuff similar to the HP Burn debuff but based on your champion’s MAX HP. However, it does not stack up like Poison debuff, which means it’s best to have at most 2 champions with Brimstone blessing to deal damage every turn as this Blessing has a cooldown of 2 turns! To maximize the damage output for your boss raid teams, it’s best to have a mixture of Brimstone, Cruelty, and Phantom Touch blessings!

Prioritizing Blessing Rarities

You might have a mixture of Rare, Epic, and Legendary champions in your team. Hence, it’s recommended to start off with the highest rarity champion in your team and prioritize the highest rarity blessings first to maximize the benefits that they can bring to your team! Below is a list of combinations of blessing recommendations based on the areas your team will be battling!

Demon Lord Clan Boss Blessings

  1. Brimstone (Essential) Prioritize to only 1 Legendary champion.
  2. Cruelty (Essential) Prioritize to only 1 champion, preferably an Epic Support champion who can perform multiple hits to stack this quickly.
  3. Commanding Presence (Optional) Prioritize to only 1 champion, preferably an Epic Support champion who can perform multiple hits to stack this quickly.
  4. Phantom Touch (Attack Damage Dealer) Improves Attack champion’s damage output.
  5. Crushing Rend (Defense Damage Dealer) Improves Non-Attack champion’s damage output. (Unlocks at 6 Star Awakening)

Hdyra Clan Boss Blessings

  1. Brimstone (Essential) Prioritize to only 1 Legendary champion.
  2. Cruelty (Essential) Prioritize to only 1 champion who has AoE attacks) to stack up quickly on all Hydra heads.
  3. Commanding Presence (Optional) If you use Aura to improve your team, prioritize this on an Epic champion as Legendary Aura is not needed.
  4. Miracle Heal (Optional) Prioritize on AoE Healers such as Doompriest. This blessing does not work with Leech nor Continuous Healing.
  5. Crushing Rend (Enemy Max HP) Best choice for Enemy Max HP damage dealers but requires 6 Star Awakening to unlock this mechanic!
  6. Soul Reap (Optional) Defeat the Hydra heads with Soul Reap after selecting a champion to be equipped with Brimstone!
  7. Phantom Touch (Damage Dealer) Best damage-dealing blessing if you have no other options.

Dungeon Boss Blesings

  1. Brimstone (Essential) Prioritize to only 1 Legendary champion as it will hurt the boss significantly!
  2. Curelty (Optional) Useful for a boss wave but not much for the first 2 enemy waves.
  3. Commanding Presence (Optional) If you utilize an Aura, prioritize on your Epic champion as a Legendary Aura is not needed.
  4. Crushing Rend (Essential) If you use any Enemy MAX HP champion (e.g. Seer), then this will be very powerful against enemy waves.
  5. Soul Reap (Optional) Executes the boss wave quickly to speed run the dungeon.
  6. Phantom Touch (Damage Dealer) Best damage-dealing blessing if you have no other options.

Arena Go First Team Blessings

  1. Inspiring Presence (Essential) If you utilize Aura, prioritize on Legendary champion or you can substitute it with an Epic Higher Awakening blessing.
  2. Temporal Chains (Optional) Using this blessing will give you an edge in the speed race against enemy teams who uses Nekhret the Great or Shield Sets.
  3. Soul Reap (Essential) This blessing deals the most damage when used for defeating enemies in a speed nuke team.
  4. Crushing Rend (Optional) This is the next best damage-dealing blessing, especially for Epic damage dealers.
  5. Chainbreaker (Optional) Useful for debuffer heroes at 4 Star Awakening.

Arena Go Second Team Blessings

  1. Polymorph (Essential) This is used for stalling the enemy offense team as this stops the enemy from removing or stealing your buff and preventing them from debuffing your champions. You can use as many champions as with this blessing! However, it does not prevent the enemy team from destroying your team after reverting from sheep!
  2. Temporal Chains (Optional) Disrupting the enemy’s turn meter is valuable in preventing them from setting up for the kill.
  3. Lightning Cage (Essential) This blessing protects your damage-dealers event at 1 Star Awakening and much preferred over Soul Reap.
  4. Survival Instinct (Optional) Provides additional turn meter to your champions when receiving debuffs from enemy, so you can quickly overturn the tide of battle!
  5. Faultless Defense (Optional) This blessing dramatically reduces the enemy’s multi-hitter incoming damage.

Somehow you lost the Carapace rare blessing on this page 🙂

@Иван: You can use it on your champion along with another champion who provides Aura (e.g. Attack Aura). Use your damage nuker to do some damage in Doom Tower floor without the Aura champion to obtain the before effect, and then use damage nuker along with the Attack Aura champion.

How can i check if commanding pressence is working and to actualy see the effect ?

  4. pete

have a rare i am building for FW – ascended 4*, awakened 1*, just pulled a 2* perfect so like great that’s 3. When i go to use it only wants to add 1 and refund for 1 is that normal? is it a rarity thing or more general 1 at a time

  5. Mike

Anyone have a multi star blessing but some stars are empty? Got a 3* artak with only 3rd star lit. Won’t let me use it until I unlock the 2nd star. Never happened with any of my other ones.

Aldo anywhere you can get names to match the icons in your soul collection? I’ve got over 75% that I don’t even know who they go to.

    TIA

  6. Woima

Doesn’t Iron Will reduce damage from poison, HP burn and bombs too?

  7. Eric Sebasta

What is with the hidden blessings… and how do you unlock them?!??!

In the section about prioritizing rarities, under demon lord blessing, there might be a small error, where the text recommends using Commanding Presence on “an Epic Support champion who can perform multiple hits to stack this quickly.” I think maybe this was copied from the description for Cruelty? Commanding presence also works on support champions, but it does not stack, and is not dependent on multiple hits.

Anyway! Thanks for this comprehensive guide!! I visit this website everyday and I never build a champion without coming here first 🙂

  9. FeatFramed

    hundreds of words about blessings.

    Where are they?

My champion has one red star, but I have to find where the blessings are to choose one

I know how stupid I sound, so just tell me please.

  10. bgtb

Does Cruelty stack with abilities that reduce defense (like Harima’s A2)?

  11. bob

Potentially stupid question about the intimidating/commanding presence blessings: considering that at 6* they give a 35% increase I’m supposing they aren’t additive, otherwise they would be too powerful, right? Which means if you slap a 4* commanding presence (which gives a 7.5% boost) on Urogrim (who has a 20% speed aura), does that mean his aura is now 21.5%? Does the game even recognize decimals or does it get rounded up (or down?)? I’m trying to build a speed tuned clan boss team with Urogrim in the lead and I don’t want to spend money on regearing only to get the speeds wrong.

    Hello,
Do you plan to add suggested blessings to the different characters?

@Nuno Silva: It depends on where would you want to use Steelskull. If you are using him primarily for Faction Wars as the lead (Defense Aura), then having Commanding Presence strengthens the defense aura. If you are using him for Clan Boss too, then ensure that you have a suitable candidate in the lead to provide a useful aura to Steelskull can strengthen it. Alternatively, check the Tier List provided here, identify the Blessing from the best to worse, and see how it fits the champion’s role in the team!

@Mayhem: Thanks for the correction! I have removed High Khatun from the recommended champion for the Intimidating Presence (Legendary Blessing).

  15. Mayhem

in the description for Legendary Blessing Intimidating Presence, one of the recommended champions is High Khatun but she is only an epic.
She should probably be listed as a recommended champion for the Epic blessing Commanding Presence.

  16. Nuno Silva

which is the best blessing for stellskull?, i have 4 stars blessing to choose.
    thanks in advance

  17. Half_Bee

Does anyone know the cost of essence to increase stars, assume it is hero dependant.

  18. tictric

I think Heavencast can be decent on support champs which have a good debuff on their a1 but on the rest of their kit are more themed around healing/cleansing/reviving. Like Mauso Mage, Steelskull, Hoforees or Broadmaw.

  19. LeevesF2P

What’s a good blessing for Dreng? I use him in Spider, dungeon progression (16-24 in all dungeons), Doom tower, Iron Twins… I can see some recommend soul reap, but wouldn’t it kill off the spiderlings?

  20. Spotz

Is there a summary showing the tiny graphic shown on the Champ portraits anywhere?

  21. Mayhem

in the S Rank Blessing section, Phantom Touch is listed as a (Rare Light Blessing) when it is actually a Rare Dark blessing.

  22. iAkrobat

As an Epic Champion High Khatun can’t use Intimidating Presence (legendary Blessing)

  23. GH

Sure, would be helpful if you’d give us a button we can push after typing in a specific champions name and then just get all your opinions and feedback on which blessing would be best for them cuz most of us are seriously confused out here!

  24. Shizukuishi

I agree with you completely, Max Bini. And that is why all enemy turn based damage should be changed to click damage over time, else we are wasting a slew of DB slots that will never be used. I would love to see this game turn away from turn based play and move directly to real time play, at least in the arena, where we would have to make teams with clan members or other random players. /rant

With regards to the blessings, I tried Intimidating Presence on Deliana for my CB team, but Brimstone is sooo much better. And when I play her in the area, the enemy usually dies before the big rocks from the sky hits them. This should be instant damage.

  25. Xenthian

Not 100% sure if I’m going crazy or not but I swear the phantom touch mastery messes up some skills. I have this on a Coldheart and sometimes her heartseeker will do the turn meter reduction, a tiny amount of damage but no big crit damage like the phantom touch hit overides the main damage. Before I got the blessing she always chunked the spider.

  26. Max Bini

Some are really good and some are just useless. Do not see the point of having a poison and a hp burn blessing for Arena only – they are not that helpful and they are not usually long enough fights for that to help. Some of the better ones are team blessings, so there is no point in having more than one of them per team.
