Haarken Greatblade Review
Haarken Greatblade is an Epic Attack Void affinity champion from the Barbarians faction in Raid Shadow Legends. Her arrival in the game was marked by the festive fusion event for the High Elves champion, Pyxniel, in December 2020. Haarken was known for her incredible offensive capabilities, boasting a remarkably high base attack. However, her defensive numbers were comparatively low, making her vulnerable in battles.
Despite this, Haarken’s A1 ability could deal devastating additional hits, but it required a 100% critical rate to maximize its potential. Furthermore, her A2 ability could weaken her opponents, and her A3 ability could spread debuffs. To make the most of these abilities, Haarken needed accuracy to ensure her debuffs landed effectively.
While Haarken had great potential, she was not without limitations. She was not ideal for the Arena unless she was protected by a Veil, as her low defensive numbers made her susceptible to attacks. However, there were specific situations where Haarken could shine. For instance, she could be paired with a single target HP burn champion to set up an area of effect (AOE) HP burn, which could be particularly effective against Spider 20 if the player did not have the appropriate champions to handle that stage.
Despite her niche strengths, Haarken was generally considered an average champion in the game. She had her moments of glory in specific situations, but overall, she was not considered exceptional. Nevertheless, her loyal fans appreciated her unique abilities and strategic potential, and Haarken continued to leave her mark on the battlefield as a fearsome Barbarian champion in the world of Raid Shadow Legends.
I’ve tested this champ on multiple I killable comps and if you are missing a weaken, this champ Excels in doing that. Her A1 is a 6.6 MP 3.3×2 and scales really well with high crit damage. Very underrated champ especially using to spread Rhonda’s block skills.
She is so coole, with 100% crit rate the A1 deal 3.3 ATK x 2 … insane saw in action fraction war … my other barbarian also level 40 expect the Fat guy lvl 50. Haarken fighting style with great blade is really unique, just rush and slash. Great fun character.
Just to be clear on my previous comment, 2 minute spider runs. Can see her used elsewhere as well, but for me I didn’t have a max hp damage, or aoe hp burn so she let me do the missions I couldn’t otherwise
Got her when I was trying for the arbiter missions (and hoping for a coldheart). With the new AI control she’s insane. Put her in reflex, turn off her A2, and prioritize A3, and pair her with any HP Burn champ (geomancer was my pick). Instant 2 minute runs (sometimes takes longer because she has to go through 2 rounds of infectious blade to kill, and geomancer places a decrease accuracy that sometimes interferes with it).
I use her in a damage dealer build (low accuracy), she never use her A3 on auto.
I wonder if she uses it when built with accuracy ?
I was using her today in faction wars and her debuff spread was working on auto.
@Chris.Sulman: I recently did some testing with Haarken Greatblade and found out there was an issue with her AI, where she does not use her A3 skill on enemies who has debuff. This makes her not viable in many areas for the time being since her unique skill to spread debuff is not working on auto.
Does her auto target spider/spiderlings with debuffs only? Ive just pulled her and wondering whether she’s valid for spider 17 onwards
Does Master hexer and/or harvest despair stack on top of infectious panic?
it doesn’t appear the debuff spread works for CCs like stuns, though the tooltip doesn’t mention this.
@Kaiser: Yes, Haarken Greatblade requires Accuracy to spread debuff else it will be resisted by the enemies.
