Treeshield Knott Overview
Mistakenly identified as one of the magnificent trees in Mistwood, this warrior cleverly conceals itself to ensnare intruders with thorns! Treeshield Knott, a Rare Support champion, belongs to the Sylvan Watchers Faction in Raid Shadow Legends, joins as part of Gnut Champion Fusion in July 2023 as of Patch 7.30. Not only does Treeshield boast captivating aesthetics, but also a plethora of support abilities that can guide your team to victory.
One such ability is Root Rejuvenation (A3 ability), which resurrects two random allies with 25% Turn Meter and restores their HP. Additionally, the revived targets receive a 20% Shield based on their Max HP. While Telaria already houses several revivers, they are scarce within the Sylvan Watchers Faction, making Treeshield an ideal choice for Faction Wars, where his skills can help you achieve a three-star victory in challenging stages.
For your living teammates, Treeshield provides a 30% Increase Defense buff and a 15% Heal based on their Max HP using his Treeshield’s Favor (A2 ability). This is accompanied by a 25% single target Decrease Attack, reducing incoming damage from his Thorned Riposte (A1 ability). The overall synergies of Treeshield’s abilities are both straightforward and effective, making him a viable option for tackling arduous waves, including rare Secret Rooms.

Ratings really should be higher in a few areas for Treeshield. Unless you have Elva for example, he’s a 5 star rated champ in my opinion for faction wars for the Sylvan Watchers.
I literally just finished up that faction using him as the sole reviver. His A2 heal/increase defense came in clutch more than a few times, and the decrease attack is a nice touch along with the bail out of his A3 revive.
Combined into a proper team, he’s just as useful as Wyrennon albeit in a different way (more tankish less speedy). My faction clearing team was: Daithi in the lead for acc buff for debuffing and damage, Lady of Ireth and Nia for support/heals/ally protect, Treeshield for support/revive, and then Deuden for more damage, shields, and his taunt. Worked perfectly with all of them at 60 except Treeshield still being at 50. Reliable and easy to build, 5 stars for FW for sure.
@Izzi: Yes, hits triple hit and revive helps player for early-mid game who are struggling with Fire Knight. I have Treeshield Knott ranking for Fire Knight from 3 to 4. Thanks!
Why is this guy only a 3 for fire knight? Wouldn’t his 3hit and revive help a lot in teams?
His A3 “Revives 2 random allies” is pretty rare among the Sylvans. Take him to Lvl 50 for Faction Wars at least for early-mid game until you have better.
Didn’t think he was worth much at first, then I realised he is a reviver. Two allies at a time is not to be sniffed at. I had him at level 50 and he made a difference to the team, so I am in the process of taking him to level 60 fully booked. Books are cheap as he is only a rare, which is why I did not take much notice of him at first. Now to work on his masteries. He is going to help me get the last level in FW as I cannot keep all of my team alive to get those last two stars. I hope to be able to with him, when he is a bit stronger by the next round.
I have him in a Bolster set to keep him alive whilst he keeps the rest of the team alive. Plus Perception for the accuracy and speed.
@LazarouDave: You can use either Warmaster or Giant Slayer here. It would be preferable to get Treeshield Knot with Giant Slayer but to access that mastery, you would need to take Kill Streak, which might not be useful for him since his damage output is not perform the finishing kill to benefit from it.
As there are few revivers in Sylvans, I’d give him more than a 3 for FWs and go for Defense rather than Offense masteries.
Why Warmaster and not Giant Slayer, since the A1 is a 3-hitter
