Frozen Banshee Storyline

Most folk of Teleria view banshees as heralds of inevitable doom, and they do so with good reason. Universally female, these revenants are known for haunting mortals and driving them insane with blood-chilling shrieks or keening that, sometimes, shatter steel as if it were mere glass. Some even seek to actively harm the living with foul magic or blighted weapons, each victim dragged to the grave only fanning the banshee’s bloodlust further. Whether the Banshee in service of Wurlim Frostking was one such spirit before or if she is a mortal warrior felled in one of the many wars that were waged in the Winterlands is unknown. But she is unlike what most Undead hunters would expect; rather than withered or ethereal in nature, the Frozen Banshee’s body remains untouched by the rot of Undeath. Yet it is covered in ice and rime, as if she had lain beneath a glacier for hundreds of years, preserved in her ghostly beauty. This same magic appears to be hers to command, for each strike of her spear brings with it the cold certainty of death. Even those who do not fall find themselves weakened, made vulnerable even as the Banshee’s own allies grow stronger.

@Obsidian the poison’s still there, mate.

  2. Norm

    Good day AyumiLove,

Please, I am stuck on the Artifact Mission (71 of the first set). I have spent over one million coins and am still needing two. Please any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thank you

    Wild Surf

  3. Obsidian

Her A1 no longer has poisons on it! Is this a secret nerf or a bug in my game?

  4. Carry_me_Plz

@Ronda fan In case you still wondering where the ACC bounus comes from. A lot of it is from substats and Great hall bonus.
    gloves: 22+14
    Boots: 26 +4
    Amulet: 11+5
    Banner: 78
    22+14+26+4+11+5+78 = 160

I assume that Ayumilove is a long-time player So Ayumilove has likely fully upgraded the ACC bonus for Magic Affinity in the Great Hall. When fully upgraded magic affinity you get 80 + ACC for level 10.
That brings the total bonus acc to:
    160+80 = 240

    I hope this helps

  5. Ronda fan

Where is the +240 ACC coming from on the budget unkillable build? I only see 82 coming from the gear.

  6. Shizukuishi

@Kent, I’m sure you have already figured this out, but for FB, you will want to land the A3 first provided you have enough accuracy to land it, followed by as many A1s as you can before the A3 wears off. Then slam on the A2 and repeat or whatever sequence works best for you in the situation you find yourself in…

  7. Kent

I am not understanding this skill order on FB. It says in order to land poison, you need poison sensitivity on the target first (A1), but poison sensitivity does not come until A3. So is the plan to drop the sensitivity on one turn and then come around again to land the Poison?? Or somehow does the A3 come first?
On another note, would frozen banshee stack poison with Kael and Outlaw Monk?

    TIA

  8. Kestrelator

Ash @ https://www.youtube.com/@ASH-RAID has a couple videos on her. I just pulled her today, and I’m going to follow his advice to gear her for Clan Boss, in Retaliation (NOT Avenging!) and Speed gear.

  9. russ

@Joseph Garrison, If you ever see this (I am aware your comment was last year) I just wanted to say I digged the video you posted with the music xD instantly loved it actually. Your FB is OP, can you send me your set up for her ? artifacts, masteries, what stats u focused on etc etc. just write it here or send me an email at [email protected] thanks broskie!

  10. Influx of Bees

I fed this champion to others early on seeing she was C rank and I needed room. Now I deeply regret it, keep her! I have clan mates that use her to 1 key Clan Boss Nightmare with less team power than me, I feel like I’ve fallen behind, but she hasn’t dropped for me again. CB is too important for your account and your clan to value this champ as C tier. Though it seems many CB champs get that treatment on this site.

Does anyone know a site that ranks champs based off of the safety to use them as food? Champs you probably wont build or use? That’s what I used to use this site for.

  11. Joseph Garrison

She almost soloed the Doom Tower Nether Spider for me yesterday, in Lifesteal, Floor 90 Normal. I looked on YouTube to see if anyone else tried it, and found this:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aSdUiv7cKg

I need more speed on my FB, and some more resistance. Let me know if you have other uses for her. I have her on my lasted version of Clan Boss as well.

  12. iSimpforArbiter

Seems to be she can very well function independently from Gravechill Killer for CB while the same isn’t true for the latter

  13. azn550

She never uses S2, all I’ve ever seen her use is S1, and S3. Does anyone else notice this?

  14. Aeneas_2401

Is she outside of clan boss and dragon keep so useless? I unfortunately don’t know, because I still don’t have her. -.-

I’m playing Raid SL since a half year and I still didn’t pulled her. I know she’s a good Damage Dealer and still useful at CB6. Actually she’s the only rare Champion I really want to pull rather more than any epic.

  15. opus

This has everything a B rank epic champion has, so, how does Yaga a B rank epic champion, who frozen banshee is CLEARLY better than, rank as a B tier epic, yet frozen banshee is a C tier rare…..I need some explanation to the logic behind the ranking of these 2.

  16. BruDog1970

I have a Budget Unkillable team that has decent, but not great gear.
Maneater, Maneater, Kalvalex, Vizier Ovelis, and Frozen Banshee.

Vizier Ovelis works very well with Frozen Banshee as he extends the buffs, so there are times the Poison Sensitivity and Poisons stay on for several turns (sometimes as many as 8 rounds). Kalvalex adds 5% poisons and the Maneaters keep the team alive.

  17. Zahrael

    in arena is good too!

  18. ArcticF0X

There are so few rares that are worth 6-starring any more, but Frozen Banshee is definitely one. C-rank seems too low for such a useful Clan Boss champion. She’s also very strong for Dragon and Magma Dragon. Definitely should be in a higher tier, A-rank or even S.

  19. Martz

Masteries self counter attack… its missing one value 120.

  20. Invertigo

Endlesshine is correct missing 1 mastery and agreed sniper is the right choice

  21. Endlesshine

@ayumilove I think your team counterattack mastery trees are missing 1 mastery (I had 200 red scrolls left over). I added Sniper with the left over scrolls.

  22. Reiwarn

@Michael FB needs to be fully booked to be viable otherwise yes, her poison sensitivity ability is on too long of a CD.

However when fully booked, with Master Hexer mastery and enough speed to take 3 turns while CB takes only 2 makes her able to keep the poison sensitivity almost 100% time on CB.

FB is really good for CB but is really hard to gear up, she has really low base def and hp which makes her hard to build. Make her fast, tanky and with enough ACC so she lands her debuffs and you have a powerhouse of a CB champion.

  23. Osíris

Adorei as tuas builds já alterei 6 lendários e adorei
Obrigado pelo tempo que levas deixando estas excelentes dicas 👌👌

  24. Michael

Looking for some clarification with this champion and my CB team. Currently using:
High Katun and Sepulcher sentinel for buffs and support.

Warmaiden for Heals and offense up ( until I pull Apothecary who replaces her and HK, so I’ve read ).

And my damage dealers were my starter, Galek with lifesteal and Outlaw monk with relentless for cycling his poison faster.
I pulled FB recently and subbed her in for Galek to boost the posioning but her 3rd skill is such a long cool down that she rarely actually drops a poison debuff. Is she any good with a toxic and accuracy set? And does the lifesteal set proc with poison damage? (If not seems redundant).

  25. FROZEN BANSHEE MASTER.......ies help

@Alyssa Mathis – she will have all her skills up more often than you think. Her first cast of poison sensitivity will always take advantage of it. Essentially every cast of sensitivity makes use of it for my FB as I have disabled her A2 since it throws my speed tune out of whack.

  26. pepe

es muy buena contra Nether Spider un 4,9 le doy de puntuacion

  27. Jbones

Clan boss team counter attack setup is missing a pick on the second last tier.

  28. Alyssa Mathis

How does charged focus help FB? She will always have a skill on cool down. If I’m wrong can someone please explain.

  29. wat

For me, if you fully book her she will deal better overall damage than Kael. Kael is just more flexible cuz he can be used in arena and farming.

FB is more on CB or maybe dragons

  30. Jokerwanted

@Keyaru Team counter means that you have a champion like Skullcrusher that puts the counter attack buff on everyone. Self counter means that you go down the Defense tree and get the Retribution mastery that gives you a counter attack chance.

  31. Keyaru

Can someone please explain about team counter and self counter setup, what its mean?

  32. martin

Just a question on her A1. Is it a 2.2 per hit or is it a 2.2 overall?

  33. Trev

    @KaranaK

Once fully booked she is proving to be much better than kael in my CB team, i am still quite new so my other team members arent great, but i have gone from 9 million a key on nightmare to 12.5 million since swapping them.

  34. Felix Javier

Just dropped Frozen Banshee from Mystery. Who should I pair her up with in CB, Occult Brawler, Gravechill Killer, or Kael. Can’t have too many poisoners, since there’s a limit to how many you can put on the boss at the same time.

    What would you do?

  35. KaranaK

hey guys ! my current team for cb is kael/occult brawler/apothecarry/thenasil/peydma

i just dropped a frozen banshee and i was wondering : should i bench kael or OB to put her in the team
OB deal 4m and kael 2m but kael usually land more poison debuff so i’m not sure about who i should bench between them

  36. Lord Destino

Im not sure about how to set my cb team… Now I’m using
Tayrel 60 booked and full masteries
    Ma’Shalled 60 booked A2 and full masteries
Kael 60 booked and full masteries.
Anax 50 2 books and none of masteries.
Aox the rememberer 50 no books and no masteries.

Usually got between 5~7 millions damage on NM…
But I also have Frozen Banshee 50 booked no masteries and Jareg 50 booked and no masteries…
How could I maximize the damage? I mean which ones could have more sinergy together taking them to 60….

  37. Trev

    Thanks for the response.

Obviously my options are limited by being FTP but I run two support characters (doompriest for attack up, unstun and heals) and jareg for attack down and protect.

I figured that increasing the poison damage through sensitivity might work well

The only way to find out is test it 😉

    Thanks

  38. Ayumilove Post author

@Trev: If the Clan Boss debuff slot is not reaching a max of 10 debuffs, then Frozen Banshee is a good choice. However, you need to balance the champions in your team, so that it’s not only focussing on applying tons of Poison debuff, but you need other buffs to support your champions such as Increase Speed, Heal, Shield, Ally Protection and so forth, depending on the difficulty of Clan Boss you are tackling. In the earlier difficulty of Clan Boss (Easy to Normal), you can go with the route of placing maximum Poison debuff. As you progress further into Clan Boss difficulty, you need to plan and rank up specific champions that can provide beneficial buffs to support higher difficulty.

  39. Trev

Just pulled her, thinking of leveling her to work with kael / zavia and doompriest on clan boss?

She would take the place of tuhak…sound worth it?

  40. Herc Smash

Thanks for your dedication to covering the game. What damage results when she uses a 4 item set of Toxic for additional poisons on the Clan Boss? Can you elaborate on what is a Clan Boss (Self Counterattack Setup)?

  41. Mortvir

@Follower of Skartorsis – Lifesteal set is a 4-piece set so you can only have one other 2-piece set equipped 🙂

  42. Follower of Skartorsis

I want to use Frozen Banshee for Clan Boss only. What third set should I add on top of Lifesteal and Accuracy?

Thank you so much for this amazing resource, it is invaluable information when you’re trying to move from Early to Midgame properly and are aiming to go for the Endgame.

Right now I have such a strong Skartorsis that I have cleared the first two campaign stages on Nightmare, but I know it cannot continue if I don’t add more strong characters to my roster.

  43. James

@ayumilove love your guides, extremely helpful when I was starting out, and now I’m able to play around with everything.
-Small typo in her A1 description
    That is all!
GJ, keep up the great work for the community!

  44. Krypt

Her with an unkillable team is the best. Can get 20mil just herself on unm

  45. Wildsdreamer

Frozen Banshee is a steal of a champ for a rare. She is top tier on Clan Boss. Ayumilove already has Frozen Banshee as a 5* on Dragons Lair, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised how well she actually does there after giving her a try on Dragons 20.

Her Accuracy Aura is always useful, especially if you need just a bit more Accuracy to put you over the top, as has been the case with me. Invest in her ASAP. Don’t be like me and use her as food in early game, only to realize how valuable she is in late game and having to wait to pull her again.

  46. Ayumilove Post author

@Anthony Gonzales: You will need set goals for your Clan and helping them improve their Clan Boss team through discussion. If your clan members are progressing much faster than the rest, then they would eventually leave since the rest could not keep up with them (e.g. F2P vs P2W players).

  47. Anthony Gonzales

How do you grow a Clan. I have 22 members and we are a bit all over. I want to keep it a laxed and easyngiing. Clan but with structure and direction. A. Handful don’t even respond to the clan. I figure they are just a member that will eventually leave. Any sugges2?

  48. Bobbybick

    @Shahram
I don’t think sniper is ever used on FB as her A1 is already 100% once booked and A3 starts at 100%. Which is nice since it means if you are using her strictly for CA setup you can skip farming 200 more red scrolls since none of the other T5 masteries are worth taking either. (if you are going Support/Offense trees)

  49. Shahram

It looks like SNIPER is missing from the Counter Attack setup?

  50. OhNoahC

I suggest adding a mastery tree for Offense and Deffense for CB. HH and many others build FB tanky. She should be able to get above the Accuracy thresholds for NM and UNM CB based on Great Hall and Banners, thus the Defense build rather than support.

  51. Ingo

    @Typ

  53. DJ_Benji

If you are using her with Toxic gear, then Sniper is helpful, and there’s really nothing else on the Offensive tree that would be of any use on that Mastery level.

  54. SaucyLobes

@snyper7722 Giving her sniper is a waste of a mastery, all her abilities are 100% chance to land when booked.

  55. Timbiotic

Does evil eye proc every round in CB? If not one turn meter decrease worth it for CB build? Or is this because it’s generic? Ronald using cycle of magic instead to get poison sensitivity back up

  56. snyper7722

one thing to note. The “counter attack” setup is one skill short. You can add in a skill selection of “sniper” to help with placing debuffs.

  57. V

Remove sniper from clan boss setup mastery, it’s useless because you book her.

  58. Jeff

I have FB on a counter-attack team paired with Zavia and they do 18-25 million on NM combined. She sometimes does more damage than Zavia.

  59. RubenS

Is she really really terrible until fully booked? Or is it my luck?

  60. Androbob

Thanks for your answer! I have in my team Tayrel, Bulwark, Occult, Galek and Jizoh. I don’t have a luck for some proper supporter with good buffs so I will try Frozen insted of Galek or Jizoh…

  61. Ayumilove Post author

@Androbob: If you do not have a Counterattack Champion, you could use both of them together for early-mid Clan Boss. However, mid-late Clan Boss requires a collection of debuffs such as Decrease Defense, Weaken, Decrease Attack to help you survive longer. These 2 pair of champions does not have these skills. You will need to pair them with 1 or more Champions that has a collection of these skills to sustain the team in Clan Boss battle for a longer period of time. You will also need buffs such as Increase Defense, Increase Attack, Healing, Continous Heal, Shield, Ally Protection to sustain the team up to 50 Clan Boss turns.

  62. Androbob

Hi, it’s good to have Occult Brawler and Frozen Banshee in one CB team?

  63. Ayumilove Post author

@Ctina: I have updated Frozen Banshee Clan Boss mastery setup by replacing Cycle of Magic with Wrath of the Slain.

  64. Ctina

Cycle of Magic ruined my skill rotation in the counter attack setup

  65. Tom Chapman Barros-Wing

Ok, thanks for that! I am still learning the synchronization, and I do frequently use her A2. Gotta cut that out.

  66. Ayumilove Post author

@TurnmeterHunter: She is terrible if she uses her A2 on a Counter Attack team. It will desync her from the rest of the party.

  67. TurnmeterHunter

She’s not using her A2 on auto even though the boss has 10 debuffs, sup with that?! Thats a 20% turn meter bost loss ffs.

  68. Kuni

I think arcane clarity should not be used for speed tuning CB teams. It messes them up.

  69. Gil-more

@Piston & Antonio… I would suggest Sniper for T5 mastery, so once you reach 90+5% to apply poison debuff u dont need to spend tomes on her anymore!

  70. Piston

You’re one scroll short on level 5 for the “Clan Boss (Counter Attack Setup)”

  71. Aquadorian

@Antonio: Ayumilove already explained that in an earlier post – “The remaining masteries that were not selected for Clan Boss Counter Attack are not necessary as it does not help in the battle”.

  72. Antonio

The CLAN BOSS (COUNTER ATTACK SETUP) lacks one Mastery 5

  73. MysticcGlitcH

@Ayumilove- I done a lot of research since we last talked in the post below, Attack down is critical and as long as I alternate manually in the beginning, Nazana and myrtl are keeping the attack down going good for me, and “lasting Gifts” is helping so attack down is staying up. Im running NM CB with speeds all around 180ish. However Apok is built for Arena paired with Jingle Hunter to insure I go first. I do wish I could trade out Apok for another champion, I do have Coffin Smasher fully booked and leveled, but it seems that when I take away from the Speed up from Apok A2 I believe the team just doesnt do as good.

  74. Wurst

@iamgus Thanks for the insight! I would have never thougth to ever replace Juliana in that equation because she seems way to perfect for clan boss.

  75. rimmi

She should be rated at least a B if not higher. When I started the game ~40 days ago I used her for food, not realizing her potential based on the “C” rating. Still waiting for another one.

She is the best Rare damage dealer for CB. Very viable for endgame.

  76. Ayumilove Post author

@James Clifton: The remaining masteries that were not selected for Clan Boss Counter Attack are not necessary as it does not help in the battle.

  77. James Clifton

Counter attack masteries is missing on the second to bottom row?

  78. iamgus

@Wurst Golden Reaper is awesome at clan boss. Much more for you who dont have a counter-attack champ.
You should swap Kael from there. You already have too much poison on your team and Clan Boss allow only 10 debuffs.

    I would do :
Altan, Juliana, Frozen Banshee, Minaya, Golden Reaper.
    Then
Altan, Rhazin, Frozen Banshee, Minaya, Golden Reaper.

  79. OrcLadyConnoisseur

Even more frigid than my wife in bed

  80. yyrkoon

I think you want to put a note or asterisk on her rating. I always check (love) your guide and use it to evaluate new heroes and based on the low rating, I put off leveling and booking this toon. But Guide after guide as I learn Clan boss has her as best in slot or ‘valuable even in end game’ that I wish it would have been indicated as something to let me know.. i know overall, the usefulness is not as high, but…

  81. Wurst

Just got Frozen Banshee. My Clanboss Team so far:
Altan, Juliana, Kael, Sinesha, Golden Reaper

Which work pretty ok, but the last two are probably not the best for Clanboss. Now I have a range of options to replace those two or even Kael with given time and ressources:
Wurmling Frostking (already at lvl 60, full Masteries)
Armiger (lvl 50, full Masteries, fully booked),
    Apothecary (lvl 50, fully booked),
    Minaya (lvl 50),
    Aothar (lvl 40),
    Jareg (lvl 40),
    Vrask (lvl 40),
    Ultimate Galek (lvl 40),
    Mausoleum Mage (lvl 40)

I probably would have tried Minaya for Heals and Speed Aura and because I can probably use her somewhere else as well. And Frozen Banshee for Clannboss only for poison and complementing Kael. And maybe later replace Kael with Razin Scarhide, when I get him from fusion.
What combination would you chose, any suggestions?

  82. Ayumilove Post author

@dltlg: The counter attack mastery setup does not include any masteries that boosts her Turn Meter. If she goes too fast, she may lose the Counter Attack buff on her. As a result, her damage output reduces significantly since she could not put extra Poison debuff every time the boss attacks.

  83. Ayumilove Post author

@Fabio: Specifically which part of the Frozen Banshee guide is incorrect?

@MysticcGlitcH: Your Clan Boss Counter Attack team setup is lacking a consistent Decrease Attack debuff champion. I would replace Apothecary with a champion who can apply Decrease Attack 80~100% all the time. Good examples are Altan, Tayrel, Bogwalker. Alternatively, you can boost everyone’s survivability by having Increase Defense buff Champion. Juliana will provide additional damage with HP Burn, but not much survivability to team to go against Nightmare and Ultra Nightmare Clan Boss.

  85. Ayumilove Post author

@Kura: It’s done on purpose. There are no suitable masteries for Frozen Banshee for Counter Attack setup. You can use Rare skill tomes to get 100% success rate of landing the Poison debuff on Clan Boss. I would recommend saving the energy to grind masteries for other champions instead 🙂

  86. Ayumilove Post author

@infra: I would not choose Spirit Haste for Clan Boss Counter Attack setup. If one person goes down due to some reasons (lack of healing from Warmaster/Giant-Slayer proc), then it will mess her speed synchronization with the Counter Attack buff. She will go way too fast and misses out 1 Buff Duration. I have tested Frozen Banshee with Skullcrusher in Brutal and Nightmare Clan Boss before recommending the mastery guide above.

  87. Bluecore

@Dave : her damage output is based on poison and warmaster. You want her as tanky as possible to last longer in the fight 😉

  88. William

You missed the 15th mastery slot for the clan boss portion.

  89. Dave

Why are all her eq priorities def/hp when her damage is based on attack?

  90. infra

    @Kura
it should be Spirit Haste. Any other option is a complete waste on FB (at least for CB).

    * Kill Streak: She can’t kill anyone besides the CB
    * Lasting gifts: She doesn’t cast any buffs
    * Sniper: Her A1 and A3 are already 100% chance (A1 80% base, +20% from books) so anything over is wasted. The only way those can fail to apply is by Resistance, which is overcome by Accuracy.

  91. dltlg

What’s the difference in her masteries if I run a counter attack buff on her? Thanks Ayumi, very great site!

  92. Kura

    Dear Ayumilove,
Clan Boss (Counter Attack Setup) is missing a 5th tier skill, is it Sniper or something else?

  93. MysticcGlitcH

So I run Apok, Nazana, SteelSkull, Martyr, and Frozen B. I think she does great but I have a question. Since I also have steelskull in the team comp, that helps with Frozens A3 to get more big poison on the target. I could be wrong and I know its 2 completely different champions but in your Opinion, do you think Juliana would bring more to the table in place of Frozen B? As you know she brings Big Posions, but also HP burn with a chance to remove buffs from the CB? Or Frozen B. and Juliana in place of SteelSkull? Tell me what you think… Thanks and awesome job on your site!

  94. smaatman

On the 5th row on counter attack clan boss you are missing a mastery.

  95. Ayumilove Post author

@Z: Frozen Banshee skills and AI has been fixed. Now, she will always apply her Poison Sensitivity skill first before doing her default A1 attack to apply the 5% Poison debuff.

  96. Ayumilove Post author

@Sudo: The ranking you see is the one that evaluates her overall performance, not just Clan Boss. She is a Clan Boss specialist, therefore S Rank for that particular area. I have tested my Level 60 Frozen Banshee in all areas, and concluded that she is weak all places except Clan Boss.

  97. Ayumilove Post author

@MacDrum: If you have a Counter Attack champion, then it will require a different set of mastery setup. The masteries above is the one that I have tested working for Speed Clan Boss team. It depends on the type of champions you pair up with.

  98. Ayumilove Post author

@Baal: It’s recommended to have Frozen Banshee to be equipped with Lifesteal Set, so she can heal herself to last longer in battle. However, this must be paired with Offense Tier 6 Mastery Warmaster. Each time the Warmaste ris proc, she will deal approximately 75K damage per hit (when Clan Boss has Weaken and Decrease Defense). Lifesteal Set replenishes the champion’s health by 30%. Therefore, 70K damage x 30% = 21K HP healing. If your banshee has approximately 40K HP, then she will be healing about half of her MAX HP. Toxic Set is not recommended because it adds the lower version of Poison. Clan Boss has a maximum of 10 stack debuff. Once you reach that max, you can’t apply anymore Poison debuff. She needs to be paired with a Champion that supports her in terms of Counter Attack buff or Increase Speed Buff, which allows her to get more turns to apply the powerful version 5% Poison debuff on Clan Boss.

  99. Baal

Why do you have her suggested CB gear as Lifesteal? She doesn’t scale off Def or HP so she won’t be doing enough damage to make the healing meaningful. I’ve been getting more mileage off her from a Toxic set, which is even better because her A3.

  100. MacDrum

I do not agree with the CB masteries. If you are going to use her in a timed team, the timing adjustments may mess up your cycles.

  101. Sudo

Will the ranking be updated post patch notes, she seems a little better than c rank?

  102. Z

There is a problem in automatic mode, it doesn’t do the skills in the correct order most of the time. It has to be done manually, first the skill Frost Blight to apply the poison sensitivity, then second the skill Death’s Caress to apply the poison which is conditional to having the sensitivity active before or it will not work.

  103. Xanthis

@Mithlodel This isn’t true. The poison sensitivity will work on any poisons regardless of when they are placed.

  104. ChanceGamble

For the support tree mastery build, wouldn’t cycle of magic be superior to evil eye? Frozen Banshee will likely only be used for the clan boss, and the one proc per battle skill of evil eye seems like a waste compared to cycle of magic, which has a 5% chance to proc per turn. Given the amount of turns on average in a clan boss battle, cycle of magic would be the move. And, cycle of magic will still allow the user to select master hexer and spirit haste.

  105. Mithlodel

I’ve been observing that only poisons cast after Frost Blight is placed benefit from it, ie the skill activates on poison application and not at the end of the round when all the poisons are subtracted from target HP, and so has benefit only if cast early in the round. Can anyone confirm this?

  106. Ayumilove Post author

Raayna: Frozen Banshee tier reflects her overall performance in all battle (Campaign, Clan Boss, Dungeon, Potion Keep, Arena). She is excellent in Clan Boss and few dungeons, but not useful anywhere else. The tier you are referring to its to a specific scenario such as Clan Boss, which I have a section for it.

  107. Ayumilove Post author

@Xarozz: She also uses her other skills A2 and A3, therefore Warmaster is much better choice. It’s easier for her to stay alive more consistently with the higher chances of healing in Clan Boss battle. Giant Slayer is best suited for Champions that has all skills hit twice or more.

  108. Xarozz

Giantslayer > Warmaster since her A1 hits twice?

  109. Raayna

Would you perhaps consider maybe moving her up a tier or two? She’s very good and much more usable after her changes, and feel like the “C” tier isn’t truly reflecting her abilities, considering she now excels in dungeons and CB, the two most important areas in the game. Definitely worthy of B or A tier

  110. Ayumilove Post author

@Filipe: Frozen Banshee has been updated! Thanks for informing about the changes 🙂

  111. Ayumilove Post author

@Zark79: I have updated Frozen Banshee’s Frost Blight skill according to Patch 1.13.5. I have also re-updated Frozen Banshee’s masteries and ratings to be in sync with these new changes. Her AI is now improved as now she applies Poison Sensitivity to Boss. However, she never uses her A2 Cruel Exultation against enemies with more than 2 debuffs. She also does not apply her A3 Frost Blight against the 2 minions found in the last wave of Ice Golem Dungeon 20 (the minions that gets revived by the boss) or any minions. There are still room for improvement for Frozen Banshee’s AI.

  112. Zark79

    Hi,

Could you please update her A3 and possibly the reviews? She seems much better now 🙂

  113. Filipe

Champion A3 skill rebalanced. Update required.
    KWTGW!

  114. matthias

Damage +53% on skill tome upgrade?

  115. TheDax

LOVE HER. i run her with vizier and steelskull and it’s great. poisons for days.

  116. Syridian

So I got her on the first day the BP was out. Like everyone else I figured awesome for CB. I think that it more depends on you team composition than the champs actual skills. If your heavy poison she is good except A3 has to be applied for her A1 to apply the poisons. and A3 is only 10% chance with additional 10% per debuf. I would say this is good EXCEPT! If your heavy poison and can stack 8-9 on a continious rotation then yes I say the damage gain from the additional 25% would pay off when booked. However if your only applying 5 poison, paired with say weaken, def down, and the posison sensativity itself as a debuff you drastacly loose damage potential from the extra 25% poison damage. In short since I have used her, I found I would want to change her out since I was more physical damage dependant than poason damage dependant. I do feel she is fantastic for the early stages for people with Kael and Monk that are just building their clan boss team.

  117. Jordan M Clerkley

Only uses A1 on auto absolutely don’t invest until they fix this. Which I doubt they will

  118. DeclaredSnow

Speed leveled her to 50 and booked her. She does raise the Soft cap of the CB with Poison sensitivity. In my case, the extra 25% is not worth it even though I can easy dot a full stack of 8x poison in the first few rounds on nightmare ( I have not tested her in ultra ).

a Normal dmg champ outperforms the extra poison dmg gained. my guess is that she would do about the same as a good dps champ at lv 60 with masteries.

that said. early game that extra Dmg and poison A1 would be very helpfull.

( team: Occult Brawler, Septimus, Vizier, and Gargarob .or whatever he is called 🙂

  119. Jeremy

Any idea on Mastery list and Artifacts for the Frozen Banshee?

  120. Banana Emperor

I got her from a daily shard, and I’d love some idea on how to maximize her use.
I’m rather new, playing for a month. I mainly run atm: Vrask 6*, Juliana 6*, Athel 6*, Kael 5* and High Khatun 5*(lead). I can hit 5-6mil on Brutal per run.
Do you see her replacing Kael maybe so Juliana does more with poison?

I’d over all love your opinion of how to use her for best gains.

  121. Aervis

She doesn’t seem to use Frost Bite when on Auto
