    I am amazed how people compare him with warmaiden cause she is easier to book or can put out more damage. Spider is a game changer because of his aura +25% speed in all dungeons. I am early-mid and was struggling to auto dragon 20, the moment i put him as the lead in the team essentially replacing warmaiden, i farm no problem at all on auto. Level 50, not even booked with 11k power. He deserves way more than what people say and in terms of books as long as you get 4xA3 he is good to go. Dont get him there to do damage thats not his job. also he needs high accuracy so i would replace exalt in death with charged focus.

    Personally, I think this guy deserves a 5-star for Arena Offense. Defense, he suffers because he tends to prioritize A2 rather than A3 on auto. But for an offensive speed nuke setup he’s the perfect DEF down champ, with the possibility of Weaken to boot. All done on a place without a hit, so the affinity of the opposing team won’t matter.

    Since the whole purpose of a speed nuke team is to wipe out the other team in a single round, if possible, booking the cooldown won’t matter (and it’s still a long cooldown anyhow), just the debuff percentage.

    If You compare damage scale all 3 champs (Spider, Zargala and Warmaiden) have almost same AoE damage potential. Warmaiden is only better because of books rarity.

    But – as for long run – Zargala and Spider are much much better because of buff/debuff potential.

    Just don’t ignore Spider’s 25% speed aura for whole team in dungeons (especially D20) – it is pretty huge – and much better than Zargala’s 40 accuracy. And Yes – Spider on auto works different than Zargala – but dungeons runs is always teamwork – then use proper champs with proper speed and rotation.

    That is not true. Place cannot be a weak hit, but it still needs accuracy.

    Being that it isn’t a “hit”, it is a “place”, you do not need Accuracy for it. The Decrease Defense will hit every single time when fully Booked.

    War maiden is much much easier to fully book, and has some damage to boot. For purely AOE Decrease DEF nuke set up, damage from War maiden helps and would be better than Spider, also because you’ll likely only get to use them for 1 turn, and therefore cannot get the full benefit of Decrease ATK, DEF and remove buff from spider.

    Note that spider’s A3 is only a debuff, it actually isn’t a “hit” and does not do any damage at all.

    For Dungeon content, the added bonus of Decrease ATK is very good, and the extra Weaken will help wave clear during dungeons become a lot faster, something that War Maiden does not have.

    The only problem is that Spider does that quite some books to be consistent and reliable, while War Maiden also does too, it is trivial to book her up.

    Those abilities are on 3 and 5 turn cooldowns, respectively, and one isn’t even 100%. Basically, you will have considerable gaps in coverage, even with good RNG, and those gaps will be a wipe. His debuffs are decent enough in waves or arena, where you are either through or in control before they end, but bad when you need 100% uptime.

    He got big decrease defence, big decrease attack, lesser weaken and removes buffs.

    Isn’t that all you want for CB?

    This doesn’t seem like the best setup for Spider, as he is so heavily centered around inflicting debuffs.

    Glowing Mark can’t be a weak hit because there’s no damage, right? So Spirit enemies shouldn’t be a worry then? (IE Spider 20)
