I built him with really high HP, no books, Reflex Set in order to clear Lizardman FW21. I am going to book this guy out, redo his gear and add Warmaster, then I think he should make really decent Hydra support. Veil to stop your AOE nukers getting feared and increases damage output from everyone. Chunky heal/shield too.
Has anyone else tried this?
He’s a fantastic one to pack in a Seer dungeon nuking team 😉
@20/20: you’re right. I always forget to separate the actions in those types of abilities. It’s an attack and a buff. Thanks for the correction.
@6thWardSoldier: He surely wouldn’t need ACC for his A1 anyway since ACC is only for debuff accuracy, not for buffs.
Any early-/early-mid players should be aware of this champ’s usefulness across an array of content.
Primarily focus on Speed/HP% stats. Keep an eye on your Market for Shield set items; in addition to fast, you want him durable too. In the meantime, he’ll also benefit from the daily login Regen set that’s acquired pretty quickly. Avoid sacrificing the above-mentioned stats for Accuracy; his A1 isn’t game-changing. Focus on supporting his A2/A3’s via books/artifacts/masteries.
This guy pushed me up quite a bit in FW.
Would Stalwart gear be good for Quargon the Crowned?

This champions name shows as quargon the crowned on our account, is that not universal?
I posted that comment having followed the link from the heal skill page, it shows as crowned druid there.
Attunement looks ridiculously awesome for a support. Lizardmen sorely needed this champ.

Your support tree order for this champion is a disaster. If you click on “Lay on Hands” before shield-bearer like you have it listed – you will lockout being able to choose shield bearer. It also screws up the rest of the tree and will cost someone who doesn’t know any better 150 Gems if they already used up their free reset.
