Nazana Champion Lore
Nazana was once known as the Mistress of Pacts and the Keeper of Contracts. None understood the complex bargains woven by Siroth and his most powerful Demonspawn as comprehensively as she did.
A Firstborn Demon, Nazana was at Siroth’s side since before the Great Divorce. The Shadow God has always been a master of bargains and deals, and his hellish realm in Anathraad mimics the will of its ruler. Pact-making is a vital part of what passes for Demonspawn society. Demons and the factions they belong to make oaths of allegiance, or temporary pacts, or haggle and bargain over all manner of matters, be it territory, the loyalty of underlings, or promises of future aid. This culture extends to Demonic dealings with the mortals of Teleria. Many are those who have sworn something to a Demon of Anathraad, or indeed to Siroth himself. There is not a species that hasn’t yet heard the Shadow God’s promises whispered in the dark.
Fealty and loyalty are the Demonspawn’s first and most common demands, but there is almost no end to the number of mortals who have offered their very souls – or the souls of others – in exchange for the unholy boons Siroth and his minions offer. Many and multifarious are the pacts made, and Nazana kept track of them, her unnatural mind playing host to a vast array of damnable knowledge. At Siroth’s command, she could recite every drop of blood spilled, every life taken, and every promise made by both mortals and Demons in their dealings with one another. This made her supremely powerful and influential, but Nazana had no interest in bargains of her own. All she did was in service to the Shadow God, and her only desire was to see that each and every contract was fulfilled.
At times, Nazana was dispatched to remind pact-makers of their outstanding debts, or to enforce terms. Razor-witted and beautiful in a terrifying sense as she was, there were few either in Anathraad or Teleria who could deny the accuracy of her claims or attempt to renegotiate matters. For those foolish enough to attempt to renege entirely, Nazana showed that she was far more than just a litigator. She was judge, jury, and executioner, and accepted no plea of innocence.
When the time came to deal death, Nazana moved with lightning speed. She could cut an armored knight to pieces in seconds with her wicked talons or punch her barbed tail through all manner of cover, giving her enemy no place of refuge. Even the most arrogant and shortsighted of mortals knew that a bargain struck with Siroth could not be idly set aside or circumvented, for any that tried would meet a painful end beneath Nazana’s cold, wicked claws.
Nazana’s eventual betrayal of Siroth angered him deeply. She saw his failures in war after war, and felt all her efforts over her long existence wasted. After being sent on a mission to the Dusk Hills, she never returned, instead she joined a group of Demonspawn who had given up on Siroth after the Second Great War and had made a home within a volcano. It took much to persuade them of her abandonment of Siroth, but they allowed her to join them, and she found something she never expected: love. It resulted in the birth of a baby girl, Alure, but the happiness Nazana experienced was short-lived. A Sacred Order host bent on slaughter stormed the Demonspawn’s home, and only Alure survived. Nazana was thus banished back to Anathraad, where Siroth awaited her.

Hi there, after you updated this page, it is showing difference in where to use from the equip sets to the masteries section… which masteries go with which set please. I don’t remember them being different before you changed page to new layout, (my 2 cents, I preferred the old layout lol)
but amazing job on the site I live on it lol
she is 3 stars in clan boss not 5 stars
@Niko – you need 13 tomes to full update her abilities A1 is the first, A2 the second and so on.
Sorry, what do all these Tomes mean?
Ex.: Overview Nazana: TOMES: 13 (A2 A3)
How about throwing in Lanakis with Narzana, what would extend any shield buffs if they still remain after damage? I am currently only doing about 12-15 million on normal CB, and make it about 24 rounds and then my last champion that is still up (second to last was Elhain) is Vizier Ovelis for another round or so. Lanakis is by far one of my favorite champions as he is normall (except CB) the last to fall due to his high defense I have him in.
If you do put Nazana in a Stun set and are following the top set of Masteries, it’s a lot better to choose Harvest Despair than Lore of Steel–that Leech is fantastic compared to the miniscule bonus you’d get from a single set of Speed or Accuracy or whatever the non-Stun set is.
Just like @elixirk I have a Miscreated Monster at level 60 with full masteries. Is it worth to build Nazana? Am I mistaken or is she a weaker version of MM?
I have two miscreated monsters. One at 60 and well-geared. Another at 50.
Should I still build Nazana to 60?
for dungeons, why life steal? if she would be a carry for dungeons, she should be more into defense try, right?
so the offense mastery would only work for CB if lifesteal, correct?
Nazana? Vergis? Jareg? Which one is the best? Could you put them in an order?
Nazana is a very good champion and dont be afraid to book and invest in her. I do run her in my CB team and she keeps my team alive a lot longer than if I didn’t have her. Make sure you meet the required speed to the CB difficulty and stack a lot of HP on her that pairs with her A2 skill. One thing to note: You must have another champion paired with her to do decrease attack, you will not be able to keep it up at all times, even with lasting gifts in the support tree. She is a solid epic though.
@Matt: Nazana without any skill tomes will be quite difficult to help you in Clan Boss since the skill cooldown is very high. Once she is fully booked, she can help carry your team in all Dungeons 20 difficulty, high level Demonspawn Faction Wars and Nightmare Clan Boss. I personally have her Level 60 fully ascended and used her for a long time as she was my first champion carry in my account. She is best with Lifesteal Set and Accuracy Set to tackle most dungeons. With this set, she can quickly recover using her A1 AoE Attack after tanking the attacks for her allies in battle.
@ayumilove I have Nazana at lv 50 and have tried using her in dungeon/clan boss but I find she doesn’t really help over other people who are rated lower by you (mistress of hymns for example).
I have her with 2 immortal and a speed set. I wonder if there was something in particular you need to do in order to make her useful, i.e. get her skills to a certain level to reduce cooldown or something.
I’ve been running Peydma in the group so the Dec ATT has been covered by her. with Jerag as the backup decrease. Is there a pref or does it depend on group makeup on using Nazana for her shield or Jerag and his Inc def?
I’ve been running with Peydma, Apothecary, Kael, Frozen Banshee and Jareg. Swapped out Peydma for a couple diff just testing out. I just picked up Bulwark and going to give him a try as well. Most likely in place of Peydma, so I’ll be using Jareg for the Dec att.
As you can guess, on around week 3 of the game, with minimal luck on shards. Peydma being my highest ranking Champ according to your site.
@Himnal: It depends on your Clan Boss team setup synergy. If you are lacking of a champion to put up high uptime Decrease Attack debuff on Clan Boss, I would use Jareg. Nazana has a 75% chance of placing Decrease Attack debuff and if this is resisted, you will need to wait another 3 turns to reset its cooldown. Jareg has a long cooldown for his Ally Protection. If you could set him to run 4 turns of Clan Boss 3 turns, then he would be beneficial to keep the Ally Protection up all the time to protect the Counter Attack champion.
Jareg or Nazana for clan boss?
@Eddie Sadler: Regeneration Set does not boost Nazana’s Max HP. Using Life Sets or Immortal Sets will boost her MAX HP and also creates a larger shield placed on herself. This shield is very important to soak up those damage when she casts her Ally Protection on her allies.
Why not a regeneration set and a speed set for cb and dungeons? Since tbe regeneration set goes off of her max hp?
Ayumi, with Nazana on your CB team, what is it that you have built around her? Do you have a healer as well or 4 dps/utility champions? My current CB team (running HARD mostly) is a 5* ascended Nazana, 6* ascended Altan, 6* ascended Kael, 6* ascended Coldheart, and 6* ascended Apothocary. I average around 4.5-5 mil and wondering what I can do to get more damage. Are there some champions I should look to add around Nazana or am I too far off and better to replace Nazana at this point? Thanks!
Ayumilove – fair, although I would never give Zephyr Sniper 5 stars based on the same logic, who is far less effective even when I’ve leveled, geared & ascened her. Really, killing the Spider Boss herself is never as big of a challenge IMO as keeping the Spiderlings under control, so any champ that AoEs would seem pretty essential to this level. Sister Militant is IMO fantastic. Great site by the way and I hope you don’t take suggestions as being too critical of the great work you’re doing here – I’d be absolutely lost without this site and visit it often!
@Night: I use Nazana in Ultra Nightmare Clan Boss and she helps to keep the squishy champions survive longer in battle. It’s either your gear is not up-to-par with the Clan Boss difficulty or your team champion synergy is not paired optimizely with Nazana or both.
@BlastingFonda: I have a Nazana Level 60 Fully Ascended and I have tested her thoroughly and the ratings here reflect this. She is a support character in Spider’s Den, therefore a 4 Star is just right for her. A 5 Star Rating means that Champion can defeat the Spider Boss (this is primary point) and secondly provide support to allies, so they can survive longer or deal more damage to the enemy. I have used Nazana from Spider’s Den 1 till 20, along with other dungeons different difficulty levels.
Even vs Clan Boss, a highly leveled / geared Nazana provides exceptional value:
1. She soaks up damage for your entire team with her A2, giving you longevity.
2. She can debuff his attacks with her A3.
Maybe not 5 stars, but for her A2 ability I’d give her 4 stars as she can really extend your battle esp with more glass cannony champions on your team. The rating that makes absolutely no sense here is Spider’s Den, where Nazana is a ridiculous AoE spammer in plus the damage soaking, yet only gets 4 stars……
@Night
My post are to you. I’m going to try savage since she is a AOE. Just saying you probably made trash. Refix your accessories and line up.
Not sure, haven’t tried yet, just need a demon. The way you made it probably is trash, refix your accessories and line up.
5* on clan boss, are you serious? hurry up and decrease it at least by 2 stars..
