Siegehulk Champion Lore

The Siegehulks are among the most infamous of all Ogryn-kind. Regarded with pity and fear, they have earned a reputation as destroyers and desecrators, and their appearance stirs terror in the heart of the garrisons that the Siegehulks plan to assault.

The origins of the Siegehulks are said to lie in the latter years of the Gaellen conflict, when the Warclave resolved to attain victory at any price. Sieges have always been a difficult proposition to an attacking force, costly in time, material, and lives most of all. In such circumstances, Ogryn have always made effective shock troops. Strong, tough, and rarely questioning orders, they became the go-to stormers and breachers for Gaellen Pact armies during the grueling Gaellen War.

The Warclave took that a step further. The size of Ogryn meant they could be used as mounts for heavy, bolt-launching ballistae, turning what would otherwise have been static artillery, mobile. The Warclave realized that rather than use the weapons to bombard fortifications from afar, these Ogryn could carry them in with the assault, providing close support to the storm party. To this end they were equipped not only with a back-mounted ballistae, but also with heavy plate, chain armor, and hefty pig-iron helms, allowing them to endure the fiercest of attacks while continuing their own destructive efforts.

    @Jan nielsen,

    First one to gear up is of course Deathknight. Deathknight will help any new account get built up much faster – With good gear he can solo all of Minotaur, Void Keep, Force Keep, and Arcane Keep. He can also solo most of Nightmare difficulty except for the self healing fights. He can also solo a good amount of his Faction Wars. Finally he can solo a good portion of the Ice Golem. Besides all that he is a very strong champion for Spider since he always makes all spiderlings attack only him without needing any gear.

    Scabrius will be good damage/support hero for Clan Boss, Dragon, and other bosses because of Poison, Leech, and Weaken. Siegehulk will be good Decrease Defense/Speed champion for dungeons and also for Clan Boss until you get something better. He can also be part of Arena team because of his AoE decrease down attack – You go speed boost hero->Siege Hulk->AoE->AoE/finisher to win most Arena matches up to Gold, at which point you start needing more speed and more gear to win.
    Kinagashi isn’t very useful. Faction Wars only.

    Check Clan Boss guide.

    Hello. I have a question. new account i have 4 epix. first is siegehulk. ? Scabrius. and kinagashi. last one that I think is really good is Luria. yes also Deathknight. but start with Athel 2 of . and cabbage. that was the basic purpose. have others too lol. I’ve never had the epic ones. before then don’t know what to choose keal or athel. which fits well with my new building. only you explain to me what I have to do to get a good clan boss. 1 pvp. 2. greetings jan als nielsen I hope to hear from you it’s my 3 account goes up a lot I raid every single day :). may have a good day. Web. Google

    There are too many masteries listed on here. Page shows 4x Tier 4 masteries when you max out at 3.

  4. Jerbear

    Everyone saying “why is he b tier? He’s great for early/mid game accounts and has an aoe dec def”. Tbh if they aren’t end game viable I think that automatically drops them down a few notches, also dec def aoe isn’t that rare nowadays. Doesn’t really make them special.

  5. TheTokenJack

    Ogyrn Tayrel
    One of the hardest hitters I have

    I have him and Oboro stacked with as much crit damage as I could pile on, both are MVPs

    How is Siegehulk a B tier epic, this champion is an AOE Decrease DEF nuker without the need for an op build. Great for early and mid-game players, can def hold its own past level 20 dungeons as well.

  7. Daineden

    There is an error on the Mastery Guide. On the 4th tier, you have 4 Masteries showing (Bring It Down, Cycle of Violence, Lore of Steel, and Evil Eye). You can only have 3 Masteries at this tier.
