Supreme Athel Review
Supreme Athel is a Legendary Attack Void affinity champion from the Sacred Order in Raid Shadow Legends. She is the successor of Athel (Starter Champion) and Dark Athel (Daily Login Reward). Supreme Athel was released to commemorate Raid Shadow Legends 4th Anniversary.
Supreme Athel distinguished herself from her epic and rare counterparts by not only dealing damage but also excelling in crowd control tactics. Her Exemplar of Stoicism skill could target multiple foes if they were afflicted with Freeze Debuffs. Additionally, each hit she landed on frozen enemies would lower their ATK by 3%, adding considerable value to extended engagements. She relished keeping her foes at a frosty distance and could pierce even the most formidable defenses to freeze her opponents in the arena.
Supreme Athel’s proficiency extended to hard-mode dungeons as well, where The Tainted Fyro would suffer from being frozen, causing their turn meter to decrease. The ATK% mitigation on her A1 attack made her a top pick for this kind of content.
By bestowing buffs upon herself, she could manipulate her attack and critical rate stats to earn an extra turn, while simultaneously applying a shield buff that boosted her nuking capabilities. This eliminated the need to reach the critical rate cap and set up her passive skill, which froze targets upon impact. Her prowess in PVE, Faction Wars, and go-second arena teams made her a daunting foe to overcome.
Supreme Athel Champion Lore Synopsis
In the world of Teleria, a fervent group known as the Sacred Order spreads hope and devotion in the name of Lumaya, their divine goddess. Based in the Eternal Citadel in western Anhelt, the Order believes in a prophecy that foresees the coming of a hero who will fight against the forces of Shadow. This hero, according to legend, is typically a woman of humble beginnings, raised by the Order and taught to serve the divine. The Order’s followers cling to these tales, seeing the hero’s arrival as the key to salvation during dark times, yet some within the Order remain sceptical, viewing these stories as potential threats to the stability of their power.
The Sacred Order preaches that this legendary hero will prove her destiny by collecting four sacred relics, each thought to carry the divine essence of Lumaya’s light. These relics—a spear, a sword, a shield, and a suit of armour—are said to grant the hero extraordinary strength against Shadow. The spear, known as the Lance of Lumaya, supposedly struck Siroth, the God of Shadow, wounding him deeply. The sword, named the Blade of Righteousness, is another potent weapon from the Order’s founders, with both the spear and sword igniting in holy flames to vanquish darkness.
The shield and armour, known as the Shield of the Righteous and the Cuirass of Faith, offer remarkable protection not only from physical blows but from dark curses as well. The relics are carved with sacred prayers to Lumaya, further empowering the hero to resist the forces of Siroth. With all four relics gathered, the hero is believed to receive Lumaya’s final blessing, granting her near-immortality and preparing her to lead a crusade against Siroth. This blessed warrior is destined to unify the righteous and end the Shadow God’s reign, establishing an era of light.
However, not everyone within the Sacred Order is eager for this prophecy to unfold. Higher-ranking members of the Order maintain the hero’s legend to inspire the masses, but they are also wary of its fulfilment. Having seen the Order’s glory fade, some of the leadership view the tales with suspicion and consider anyone who fits the prophecy’s description as a threat to their authority. To these leaders, the hero’s emergence could disrupt their hold over Anhelt and shift the balance of power.
Rumours even circulate within the Order of a young knight named Athel, who seems to embody the hero’s qualities. While common folk see her as a potential saviour, some in the Order’s hierarchy take steps to suppress her growing reputation. Should the hero of legend appear, it’s clear they would face challenges not only from Siroth’s dark forces but also from those within the Sacred Order who fear change to their authority. Thus, the hero’s journey may test her mettle on all fronts — both against the looming Shadow and from resistance within her own ranks.

her kit seems like it could synergize well with a counter attack set, or counter attack champion and a bloodshield ring on her… get hit, 50% chance to freeze on all enemies, counter attack hitting all enemies she just froze, and re upping a small shield that is easily removes from a small hit
