Alatreon Blademaster Champion Lore Synopsis
The tale of Hadrux, a skilled beastdriver for the Cult of K’Leth, unfolds in the harsh landscapes of Teleria. His mission: to capture fearsome creatures for the Cult’s service. While observing Nomad animal trains in the Deadlands, Hadrux notices an unusual opportunity when the long-dormant Thundermount volcano suddenly awakens, causing chaos among the travelers.
As Hadrux prepares to strike, he’s unexpectedly met by a talking cat-like creature called a Palico. This strange visitor warns of a powerful monster named Alatreon that threatens to cause a catastrophic eruption. Intrigued by the challenge and potential glory, Hadrux decides to hunt this otherworldly beast instead of raiding the Nomad wagons. Armed with his trusted hunting scythe, Hadrux journeys to Thundermount. The volcano’s surroundings defy nature, with impossible mixtures of snow, ash, and lava. As he climbs higher, the elemental chaos intensifies, hinting at the immense power of his quarry.
Finally, Hadrux confronts Alatreon, a terrifying creature of frost and fire. The monster proves to be a formidable opponent, raining down flames and moving with incredible speed. Hadrux finds himself outmatched and retreating, only to be saved by the unexpected return of the Palico, who distracts Alatreon long enough for the beastdriver to reach safer ground.
With this brief advantage, Hadrux engages Alatreon in a fierce battle among the lava flows and lightning strikes. The outcome of this clash remains a mystery, as Hadrux never returns to the Knights Revenant. His fate becomes the stuff of legend, with only occasional sightings of a black-clad figure wielding a crackling scythe to hint at what might have become of the skilled beastdriver who dared to challenge a monster from another world.
@Ayumilove I may have misunderstood but i thought Alatreon’s passive state that the passive trigger when Alatreons receive and loose debuffs. Not their opponents. Wich mean Alatreon have to receive those debuff and that the heal doesn’t come
@Ras Alghoul: Alatreon Blademaster has a unique passive skill that can heal himself whenever the debuff expires on the enemy. This synergizes him with another debuffer champion. Lay on Hands also works self-healing artifacts like Guardian, Immortal, and Regeneration, to enhance the self-healing for duo-soloing dungeons. You can opt for Shield Bearer to generate a larger shield every 3 turns. It depends on which usecase you are using him. If I have him, I’ll be making him as a buffer + tanker, so he absorbs a portion of the damage away from his allies, while providing support buffs to increase my champions survivability. For more details on how the mastery works, check out https://ayumilove.net/raid-shadow-legends-champion-mastery-guide/
Why lay on hand instead of shield beare as long as he brings no heal?
