The Cruelty blessing is for epic champions, Acolyte cannot be equipped with it.
Acolyte is an incredible debuffer that helped me progress in doom tower. He definitely deserves more rating stars!
I gave him the SURVIVAL INSTINCT blessing.
What blessing do you reccomend for Acolyte?
Acolyte is FANTASTIC in debuff cleansing in both dragon, spider, force keep, arena and even in doom tower. Any time when you have nasty debuffs thrown your way, one swoosh and they are gone!! He is a godsend! Before him, I used to struggle so much with dragon, force keep and doom tower. Now no more. Even in spider’s den, he’s not too slow in cleaning off the poisons after just one turn. The only thing you need to do is beef him up with huge HP and speed. His A1 would naturally boost up his turn meter so coupled with speed gears, his cooldown on A3 is not too bad. Forget about the decrease turn meter skill on A2, leave that to High Khatun. Just focus on building up his HP and speed and he will do wonders.
Rank C is for sure a mistake, right? Compare e.g. with Marquess who has 5* for Arena, but Rank F !!?? Two mistakes I mean.
Looks a bit like food to me. The only thing to maybe defer this is his Aura of 30% ally attack in the Arena. Don’t think I will be in a rush to use him, might BBQ him instead.
awesome thank you so much!
@Dan: Acolyte requires Accuracy to apply Decrease Turn Meter on enemies successfully without them resisting it. It’s a negative effect type similar to debuff but it applies instantly without having any debuff duration.
Why do you need accuracy on him? What skill uses accuracy?
Is he any good and worthy of 5 or 6 stars
No way you can get a good rating out of this alone, but several Acolytes is more than the sum of its parts, especially in the Campaign. With someone like Kael in lifesteal gear, for example, you can just keep certain campaign bosses totally at bay while loading up the poisons on them. Not a horrible choice for Faction Wars to have multiple Acolytes alongside some actually GOOD champions, if that’s what you’re working with.
30% attack buff for all allies in arena. That’s quite helpful- for 3 star (force) ascension. An easy investment.
@Ayumilove: But as Wolfe already said earlier, Acolyte A1 will in effect makes the cooldowns won’t be as long as it initially appears. Plus, a 4 turn cooldown isn’t that long for cleansing the Dragon’s Poisons, especially on a champion with good enough base SPD such as Acolyte when invested quite well in SPD, on top of the A1. And Reliquary Tender’s AI can be annoying sometimes if you run in auto, in that she will use her debuff cleanse skill when the Dragon hadn’t even applied the poisons yet because of the Continuous Heal buff that goes with the skill, whereas Acolyte’s cleanse skill won’t run into the same issue.
Then add to these that he’s a strong Affinity against Dragon 20, much better base stats spread for a Support champ compared to, say, Reliquary Tender. He’s definitely not a mere “placeholder” champ for Dragon.
@Minack: Although he can cleanse the Poison/Stun debuff from Dragon, his skill has a long skill cooldown, which does not make him a excellent candidate for Dragon. Acolyte can be used as a placeholder for cleansing debuff, but there are better champions that can do it much faster such as Reliquary Tender (Rare Support Void Champion).
@Wolfe: Acolyte has a long skill cooldown, which makes him not a viable choice for Spider. At higher level dungeons, the spiderlings will move even faster. For Decrease Turn Meter, Armiger (Uncommon Champion) does a better job in decreasing the boss’s turn meter than Acolyte.
Hello, is this champion viable for cleanse in end stage dragon? Or useless and choose other champion
Now, correct me if I’m wrong here, but his damage is awful, so why bother with the life steal? Wouldn’t it be better to just throw of 2 sets of speed for both dungeons and arena?

@FarmMe/ Dave: What do you mean by 5th or 6th rank? In which area are you referring to?
FarmMe/ Dave had a * in there, meaning 5 star or 6 star.
Also, why did you only give a 1 star rank for spider? He can remove debuffs and lower turn meter, which is more important than AoE on higher levels. He has a high base speed, with an A1 that boosts his own turn meter by 25% so he’ll be getting a lot of turns when built with high speed so the cooldowns on his A2 and A3 won’t be as bad as they initially sound.
How do I get this character?

Acolyte, hmmm.. is he worthy of the 5th or 6th * rank?
