Marichka the Unbreakable Review
Marichka the Unbreakable, a legendary support champion from the Banner Lords in Raid Shadow Legends, is a force to be reckoned with. Her unique skill set and passive make her a must-have for anyone facing opponents that decrease max HP, such as the Head of Decay or Al-Naemeh.
Marichka’s A2 ability is one of her strongest, providing a powerful heal, shield, and protected strengthen buff to keep your team alive. Her A3 is equally impressive, as she can increase your champions’ resistance by the number of debuffs she cleanses. This ability also boosts your team’s turn meters, making it a valuable tool in high-end content.
What sets Marichka apart from other champions is her passive. When she dies, the rest of your team will spring back to life with no cooldowns, making her ideal for second arena teams where blocking incoming damage is critical. Her passive also applies block damage to your team when certain debuffs are activated, making her a formidable opponent in any battle.
Marichka’s A1 attack is unique in that it pairs with Taras the Fierce or a random ally, although it doesn’t bring any other effects. However, her A2 and A3 abilities more than makeup for this, as they provide healing, cleansing, and turn meter boosts to keep your team in the fight.
Overall, Marichka is a versatile champion who excels in high-end content and is a must-have for anyone facing opponents that decrease max HP. Her ability to revive the rest of your team and block incoming damage makes her a formidable opponent, and her healing and cleansing abilities are critical for keeping your team alive in tough battles.
Marichka the Unbreakable Champion Lore Synopsis
Marichka’s life began under the cruel hand of Malevena Neferas, a powerful Dark Elven sorceress. Orphaned shortly after birth, Marichka’s mother died in captivity while serving Malevena, and her father had been killed in a raid. With no one to ransom the child to, Malevena raised Marichka herself—not out of kindness, but to mold her into a sorceress apprentice. From a young age, Marichka endured grueling training in shadow magic under her harsh mistress’s gaze. After two decades of relentless study and practice, she had grown into a formidable sorceress. Seizing her chance, she escaped by shattering the six walls of the derasar, the dark temple where she had been imprisoned.
Malevena, furious over Marichka’s defiance, dispatched mercenaries to track down her runaway apprentice. Despite Marichka’s attempts to evade capture, magic leaves traces, and the hunters pursued her across the Tilshire plains. As they closed in, a wandering warrior named Taras noticed the battle and rushed to her aid. Together, they fought off the attackers—Taras with his saber and Marichka with her powerful spells. After defeating the mercenaries, Taras took the weary Marichka to his homestead to recuperate and make plans for her next move.
Suspicious of Taras’ kindness, having known only manipulation under Malevena’s rule, Marichka left his homestead under cover of night. But Taras, wary of further danger, followed her. His instincts proved correct, for Malevena, enraged by her failure to capture Marichka, had come herself. The remnants of the first mercenary party had discovered Marichka’s hiding place and informed Malevena. As Marichka slipped through the night, she was ambushed by Malevena’s forces, forcing her to fight her way back toward Taras’ homestead.
A brutal battle ensued, with Taras fending off Malevena’s soldiers while Marichka unleashed her most dangerous spells against her former mistress. Explosive fireballs, toxic clouds, and sharpened stones forced Malevena onto the defensive. Despite her rage, Malevena realized that Marichka had become too powerful to defeat quickly and ordered a retreat. Although the battle was won, Malevena vowed to reclaim her lost apprentice another day.
Wounded and exhausted, Marichka returned to Taras’ homestead, where the warrior nursed her back to health. His genuine care broke through her mistrust, and when she recovered, Marichka chose to stay. Over time, the two forged a deep bond—Taras became the father figure she never had, and together they became legendary fighters. For years, they fought side by side, defending the weak and earning a place in history. Today, their names are spoken of with reverence, and they are said to ride together, leading the Arbiter’s host in battle.
she is AMAZING, pair her with duchess and its an unkillable team, when the team gets wiped her skill revives everyone, duchess then revives her and by the time the enemy wipes the team again her skill is reset and it repeats, add in good speed and its impossible to wipe especially on sand devil. i could use anyteam aslong as those two are on it and im garunteed to win (aslong as i stay within the max turns lol)
Just a question. Any idea how marichika’s A1 actually work? In my team consisting of duchess, venus, marichika and cupidous, 95% of the time, it always duchess that joins her ally attack no matter what the place. IDK if its just pure luck or there is something affecting it here.
I don’t want to spend money, but I really really want to land this champion to go with my Taras.
Can you please start adding blessing for each player!!
And she will proc 2 ally attacks if Ronda is on the same team (tested in Hydra this week) Someone else will go with her and then Ronda will randomly proc her passive.
Love the site! Been referencing your champ reviews for a good while now and appreciate your work! I pulled Marichka last week and I suggest you select 5 star for Dreadhorn (and possibly every area in the game).
Passive: Puts a block damage for 1 turn on EVERYONE whenever someone tries to put a bomb, poison, OR HP burn on them. She also has the cleanse and then Full heal with a protected strengthen and Shield. To top it off she revives everyone when she dies so if you run her with another reviver like Godseeker, you’re golden.
@Jett Maverick: I couldn’t confirm this as I have not tested this on my account since I do not have Marichka. Based on my experiences with this game, it should not proc twice if the champion’s basic ability has some self-benefit as it will be too overpowered. For instance, if Marichka were to call another champion such as Relickeeper who has a special ability (Gaining Extra Turn upon killing the enemy), Relickeeper will not gain that Extra Turn benefit if the kill is not done by himself on his own turn.
Could United We Triumph proc twice if Ronda is on the same team?
