Thenasil Mastery Review

Thenasil, an Epic Force affinity champion hailing from the High Elves faction in Raid Shadow Legends, possesses a diverse skill set that revolves around support and debuffing capabilities. His skills include Spring Lullaby, which has a chance to put enemies to sleep, Oak-Skinned, providing a defense buff and healing to allies, and Wither, an AoE attack that reduces the duration of enemy buffs. This combination of abilities makes Thenasil a versatile champion capable of bolstering his team’s defenses while disrupting the enemy’s strategies.

To effectively utilize Thenasil’s skills, players must adopt a strategic approach. Spring Lullaby (A1 ability) can be employed as a crowd control tool, aiming to incapacitate key enemies and gain a tactical advantage in battles. Oak-Skinned (A2 ability) should be prioritized to enhance the team’s survivability, particularly during intense encounters or against opponents with high damage output. Wither (A3 ability) should be timed strategically to nullify crucial enemy buffs, weakening their overall effectiveness and providing openings for counterattacks.

Thenasil’s strategic usage extends beyond individual skills to encompass broader battlefield tactics. He excels in defensive strategies, where his abilities can be leveraged to create a resilient frontline capable of withstanding enemy assaults. Additionally, Thenasil shines in teams focused on debuffing, where his Wither ability can synergize with other champions’ debuffing skills to further cripple the enemy’s capabilities and pave the way for victory.

When considering team synergy, Thenasil’s strengths lie in compositions that complement his supportive and debuffing abilities. He pairs well with champions who can capitalize on his defensive buffs, such as Martyr or Valkyrie, to create a resilient frontline that can withstand enemy assaults. Furthermore, champions specializing in debuffs or crowd control, such as Madame Serris or Tayrel, can maximize the effectiveness of Thenasil’s skills, creating synergistic combinations that dominate the battlefield.

In conclusion, mastering Thenasil’s skills in Raid Shadow Legends requires a strategic approach that integrates his diverse abilities into cohesive battlefield tactics. By understanding how to effectively use his skills, strategically deploy them in combat, and synergize with compatible champions, players can harness Thenasil’s potential to bolster their team’s defenses, disrupt enemy strategies, and achieve victory in challenging battles.

I have found Thenasil. To be an outstanding leader for my squad his defense capabilities make him extremely hard to kill his healing and his oak skin abilities have saved the day many times as well as the 70% to resistance he provides to each member of the team.

  2. rorocu

healer perfetto da inserire in una squadra di eroi che scalano sulla def tipo vergis Jizho e mostro.

  3. Craig

    Why not Elixir of Life?

I just love this guy! Best investment I’ve made so far, ngl. I have him full booked, with a decent amount of speed and accuracy, he is first in my arena team, but not as much health as I would like, mostly because I don’t have the best gear. But that’s not all! I use him almost everywhere in the game and he does A LOT. Got me through campaign, arena.. I even use him in cb because no one keeps my team alive like he does! He is S tier imo.

@Synergie: You are right that speed is incredibly important; however, 3 speed sets is not always the right choice. I definitely prioritize speed for some Arena champs, and my fastest champ is currently Longbeard at 274. He is the lead-off for my Arena A-Team. However, it really depends on your goal for each champ. Thenasil is the backbone of my All-Epic Arena Tank Team that is purpose-built to crush the Rare/Epic Speed-Nuke teams that you see all the time up into Gold 1/2 where I currently sit. Combinations of Skullcrown, Gorgorab, Stag Knight, Tayrel, Zargala, Sinesha, Apothecary, Kael, Athel, Galek, Warmaiden…They are all built for Speed, Def Down & Nuke…

My Thenasil is in a Shield Set and a Speed Set, and he is stacking SPD, HP & DEF stats with equal priority. He puts out shields big enough that my whole team survives the Nuke Wave 90% of the time, and then it’s “Lights Out Kids, Time for the Grownups to Play”:

    Thenasil (202 Speed): Oak-Skinned
Miscreated Monster (193 Speed): Lightning Storm
    Stag Knight (191 Speed): Huntmaster
Valla (188 Speed): Crush the Wall
    Lights Out. Next?

It is true that my Arena A-Team would beat the pants off this B-Team, but I put this team up against the Epic/Rare Speed-Nuke teams every time because they win more often….with the way people build for Arena right now, there is always someone faster, but there isn’t always someone stronger. This B-Team is one of my three teams on Defense for 3v3 Arena, and it has surprised a lot of people.

The Shield Set on Thenasil is what makes this team viable.

Does anyone use Selfless Defender instead of Deterrence for this champion? It seem like it would be good for a high HP Champion.

  7. Rilee Jefferson

I hate seeing this guy in the arena. He is too good.

  8. Synergie

3 Speed sets are the best for any kind of support for the Arena, and with the most amount of speed substats you can get. Going first is one of the strongest tactics in this game. So ideally you’d want your supports to go first and before the enemy team. In Thenasil’s case, to add the x% def buff on your teammates before the enemy has a chance to attack.

@Karan Singh: Thanks for your input. I have added the equipment set into the recommendation above.

  10. Karan Singh

I have Thenasil and I am using Shield + Accuracy set with HP%, Defense% and speed with priority and its way too much powerful, Accuracy set helps in his A1 and A3 skills.

@SorgraD: Thanks for your input! I have added your equipment recommendation into the guide above!

  12. SorgraD

I’d add the recommendation for 1 Shield 1 Speed.
Shield set on him is amazing, since Shield activates every wave in dungeons for 30% of HIS HP applied to everyone.
Since we always build him for HP, it’s amazing synergy.

  13. Greatness.Shah

So, he heals SO strongly. If you have the cooldown booked, check to see if you’re actually getting any advantage using Lifesteal on Thenasil AND other heroes on his team. If you’re not, consider going into other gear. I use two Life sets (or divine life, or immortal) since the higher HP deals heavier heals to the entire team.

  14. Kura

Equipment Set for CB, Dungeon seems wrong, 2nd from the bottom

2 Immortal Set, 1 Speed Set
“1 Life Set, 1 Speed Set”
1 Lifesteal Set, 1 Speed Set

  15. Ayumilove Post author

@Knee-Buckler: Thanks! I have updated Thenasil’s equipment guide to use Life Set instead of Offense Set.

  16. Knee-Buckler

    @Ayumilove

it doesnt say 2 life sets in the gear.. it saying 2 offence sets.

  17. Malevo

It doesnt read 2 life sets as you said in a message. Still shows 2 suggestions for cb/dungeons and the rest.
Cb/dungeons still shows lifesteal and speed sets.
Why would it be different as long as you focus the stats in defense and hp percentages?
You would be gaining survivability with life steal.. why would you take it?

  18. Bob

    Yes. Icarus

  19. Icarus

Will A3 be equivalent to “remove buff” if a camp has buff count one?

  20. Ayumilove Post author

@Andy: Thanks for your suggestion! I have updated Thenasil’s recommendation equipment set to be 2 Life Set and 1 Speed Set. 🙂

  21. Andy

Given the focus on HP for this champion, I would think two Life sets and one Speed set would be better gear options.
