Jarang Overview

In the expansive universe of Raid: Shadow Legends, Jarang of the Lizardman tribe emerges as a Magic affinity epic whose presence barely ripples the waters of expectation. With a toolkit that struggles to dazzle or deliver pivotal game-changing utility, he often fades into the background, overshadowed by more illustrious champions. Yet, in a twist that highlights the unpredictable nature of the game, Jarang found his claim to fame by spearheading a trio to conquer a secret room in the Doom Tower’s hard mode during its inaugural month. This unexpected achievement serves as a humorous nod to players, illustrating that even the most unassuming characters can seize the spotlight, if only for a brief, glorious moment, proving that every underdog has his day.

Jarang is acutally a really good champion early to mid game and has a lot of utility. Not only can he put out decent damage on the A1, the Stun on his A2 and decrease attack/Defense down on the A3 is very good. Faction wars works very well and in the first rotation of DoomTower on the secrete room with all only epic lizards, he is huge. Overall hes not that bad.

  2. Rahara

    Should be 13 tomes: A1 is 4, A2 is 5, and A3 is 4. Am I reading that right?

  3. Ottarocker69

Early-Mid Game with Poisen Set on Clanboss is really good.. high speed ..

  4. Pope Rudraigh

For an Epic, Jarang is utter garbage.

  5. Ron Swanson

Why is this guy not given more credit? He has a single attack with [Decrease ATK] & [Decrease DEF]. Am i missing something?

  6. lahvinek

    jarangs a1 ignores 25% of targets def… not 30%

@dave: Not true,75% per hit! It is almost safe,I use him for most of my 20 dungeons and for green unm CB to substitute rhazin and support Sepulcher. Very underrated champ. But I have septimus to keep the debuffs up all the time

  8. Dave Astle

@gemJams6: Bogwalker for sure. Keeping attack down up all the time is the most important buff, and Jarang can’t do that – even fully booked, his A3 only has a 75% chance of landing, on a 3 turn cooldown.

  9. gemJams6

Jarang or Bogwalker for CB? I know Bogwalker will be able to keep uptime better but Jarang brings both atk down and def down.
