So I put this champ in retaliation set and he is always buffed and ready to aoe on his turn. You should try it. Bumps up his value tons.
I have absolutely no idea what synergy there is to speak of between them. He clearly has Vogoth confused with another champ. Should incorporate some kind of “verified has a clue” or “verified nub” title feature here so people know which comments are worth their time.
This is from my experience as a mid game heading into end game player and with him only 3/4’s booked so far but all masteries done.
I have him teamed with Quargan in Faction wars and use him with either or both Duchess and Rector Drath in some other areas specifically to get a veil on him more often.
I’ve have made sure that his attack is higher than his defense for Quargan to veil him in faction wars and with getting lots of guaranteed veils, his passive really helps keep him alive in fights.
Plus he hits like a truck.
He may not be a 5 star all-rounder, but he definitely has his uses. 🙂
His ai prioritize s his a3 before a2 so he is not usually under veil when casting a3 so no aoe . Unless your under veil because your skills are on cd or someone else put it on him . He does hit incredibly hard with his a3 while using it only as single target and okay damage while it is used as aoe . No one discusses either you get energy back from a2 to cast a3 which takes your a2 off cd immediately so can cast a2 again on third turn it’s a nasty combo

@Irisviel: No problem as I see it. I only have four books on his A2 so far – no books on anything else – and In Faction Wars, on Auto, he does his A2, placing a Perfect Veil on himself, then on the following turn he does his A3 AoE as long as his veil is still active. So, not sure what you mean by “will never use his A3 as an aoe” – maybe you didn’t spot that he has to have a veil/perfect veil in place if he’s to do his AoE?
He will never use his A3 as an aoe (ironically he will use it only on 1 champ). At least without any books.
But his solotarget damage is still huge.
@JimmyFLASH: I have corrected the damage multiplier for Roxam’s A3 Skill “Flicker Step”. AoE is 4 ATK while Single-Target is 6.4 ATK.
He should be 5 star in every catagory.
Roxam is a god. I can solo every keep except spirit. can do minataur 13 by himself.
He can 1v4 in arena. get relentless or lifesteal set. go a little tanky, i know your going to want sweet sweet atk but build a little tanky and he will not be stopped.
i hope they fix his AI to use flicker at the start of a bwttle if multible enemys, it is only aoe if used second.. its a huge nerf
His A3 multipliers are vice-versa: 6.4 ATK (Single-Target) / 4 ATK (AoE)

he took out the nether spider for me when all other died and it still had more than 80% hp

Just my 2 cents: have maxed Roxam and I think it should be just 4* on arena, no AoE by default, just hit hards… same dor Campaign, not a 6” farmer just acceptable… nice for factions where deserves 5* as he does lot of havoc.
