I couldn’t disagree with you more. I have been 100% free to play, since I started the game roughly 5 months ago, and this site has been the most accurate and helpful resource I’ve found. The ratings are extremely accurate vs the in game ratings. While you obviously have to judge things based on what you currently have available and the synergy that certain players will bring to your team, I have not gone by a rating here and later felt like I’ve made a mistake as of yet. My roommate and myself began this game at the same time and I followed this website specifically, along with YouTube reviews, and he went based off of in-game ratings and I am streets ahead of him on everything from Arena to campaign to clan boss.

The thing about using this site as your gospel of who to keep and who to use as food is that:

    a) It is subjective
    b) It is also only considering a 6* fully ranked and skilled champ’s potential in late game.
    c) The gearing recommendations are considering late game as well, with 5/6* gear, and always assume that you will use lifesteal gear with Warmaster or Giant Slayer for endurance runs.

The game is far more variable than that, and when you’re a novice (Like me just a few months ago), taking these rankings and recommendations as best ends up making you throw away champions that actually work for early and even mid game.

Look at the skills, and see how it fits what you need.

Magmablood has an AoE attack. You really do want a couple of AoE champs in faction wars to take on the waves and at least soften them up for the single attackers. Or if you gear them well enough, they can nuke a wave by themselves.

This champ hits hard with his AoE. If you don’t already have a couple of AoE Ogryn, you really want to keep this guy, at least until you get someone better later on. When you get your Bellower, this guy can be food that you didn’t have to grind all at once to whatever level he gets to be.

Or if you can spend gems, sock him away and maybe there will be a fusion for him later.

This site is really NOT the site to come into as an early gamer and use to decide what champs go in the bin, especially if you’re F2P.

    Dear @Zaxs :
Hope you were able to see that you were correct about AYUMILOVE.COM. Also, that just as Magmablood, most champions can be made quite useful (and lots Rock Stars) with leveling, booking, gear (and fun to think outside the box, sometimes), XP, Masteries, etc…

have you tested him recently? he may have been buffed. he hits like a mack truck, was able to dup first level of faction at level 20 WITHOUT A SINGLE PIECE OF GEAR (and the Stoneskin was level 1!). his AOE damage is insane and the CD is very short.

  5. Zaxs

I was excited when I first got this guy but than I checked his ratings on this site :-(

Great site though, thanks for all your hard work in updating this site with invaluable info Ayumilove.

@Lord Tegwyn: The ratings in-game are fairly inaccurate for some champions within the game. Therefore, I came up with my own rating that scrutinizes each and every champion based on how well they performed based on their skill potential and synergy in Arena, Campaign, Faction Wars, Dungeons and Clan Boss.

@K: The ratings as of this time is accurate based on the skill potential of Magmablood. You could prove me incorrect by showing me how he excels once you have tested him thoroughly at Level 50/60 with fully upgraded 5~6 star gears, some ascension and some masteries.

  8. Lord Tegwyn

There are buttloads of Champions out there. I’m guessing Ayumilove just didn’t get around to rating this fugly fella yet.

He can’t be *that* bad – unless all those high level players are just trolling us with their in-game ratings.

Many thanks again for all the hard work in this site! It’s an awesome resource!

  9. GoreTaint

I know this guy is pretty ugly but well he isn’t that bad at all… I guess many people need him in faction wars (at least)…

  10. K

Considering he was 4 stars almost everywhere a month ago, I would consider that no, these ratings aren’t accurate.

  11. Cody

    Are these ratings accurate
