Candleguard Review
Candleguard is a Rare Attack Magic champion from Dwarves faction in Raid Shadow Legends. Candleguard was released on August 2021 in Patch 4.50 as part of Mother Cybele Champion Fusion Event! She and along with 3 other Rare champions are fused together to obtain either Conellia, Jurojin, Tolf the Maimed and Magnarr.

Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 40% chance of removing 1 random buff. Has a 50% chance of stealing 1 random buff instead if the target has 3 or more buffs.

Level 3: Damage +5%
Level 4: Buff/Debuff chance +10%
Level 5: Buff/Debuff chance +10%
Damage Multiplier: 3.9 ATK
Triumph Cry (Cooldown: 4 turns)
Attacks all enemies. Has a 50% chance of placing a 15% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns.

Damage Multiplier: 4.25 ATK

Raid Shadow Legends Patch 4.50 New Champions by ASH
For all, like I, wondering bout gear, from the sound of it, like most champions, she’d do well in perception.
Should be ranked much higher. Full Slayer set attack and speed. She’s killing it on third base in tag arena and is a straight up monster on the spider.
Smurfette here is totally worth investing (not to massive amounts, just level 50).

Or unlucky bastards that don’t have any epic Dwarf yet, like me (2 and a half years, and still not a single good dwarf)
You can pump her with speed and attack, easy enough to gear.
With two AoE (something that rare dwarves are really in need of), she will clean the first waves, or at least do enough damage for the other useless (rare) idiots finish off.
She can go first without waiting a buffer (since her A3 buffs her AND attacks), and her A2 applies weaken, good enough to outweight the usual crappy attacks of dwarves. It’s all the smaller versions (of buffs and debuffs), but is better than nothing (which is exactly the case with rare champions).
Top it off with a buff removal effect on the base attack (which basically makes other two rare dwarves useless).
All in all, a very solid rare champion for Campaign (if you don’t have enough rares yet), and mostly Faction Wars (where she actually does really well).
Hits pretty hard, buffs herself and AOEs on two abilities. Solid kit, easy to book, does her job. For a rare, CG is pretty good. Definitely outscales the Galeks and Elhains of this world.
Should be rated higher.
What blessing would you put on her?
She is on my FW team at lvl 50 and most of the times outdamages Geo who is at 60. Main problem is keeping her alive because she is so squishy.
Can anyone please recommend the best set of gear for her?
Very good damage potential due to 2 AOEs along with the Weaken debuff and self buff ATK increase. Better than any starter champion in that regard so if you get this early on you will find use. Campaign and FW should be rated higher imo. Will need high ACC to see potential in higher FW levels.
Ich bräuchte für Candleguard dringend eine Mastery, es kann ja nicht sein, dass sie als atk Champ def und unterstützung belegt. Außerdem, bei mir, da wirft sie Bomben, warum steht der Schaden eigentlich nie in den Beschreibungen? Ich kann Massenschäden nie aus den Fähigkeiten ablesen, man muss sie halt mal laufen lassen. Wäre toll, wenn ich eine Antwort bekäme.

2 stars for spider? I mean it’s probably fair but she’s got a real good aoe on her a3 lol. I’m liking her in the early game so far but yeah probably wont max her out
Is there a reason for not having a masteries guide? I really don’t want to give up on candleguard yet…. I ascended her all the way :c

Minor bug: she is described as DW-EAM but is a DW-RAM instead.
Just rolled this… seems like a decent general use ATK rare champ. Has two AOE, one with a built in self-buff and the other with a built in debuff. A1 has a chance to steal buffs. Not sure if she’ll be good for magic keep cos the chance to remove/steal buffs is not very high.
