Assassin Review
Assassin is a Rare Attack Magic champion from Shadowkin faction in Raid Shadow Legends. Assassin was released on June 2021 in Patch 4.30 as part of Hurndig Champion Fusion Event. He and along with 3 other Rare champions are fused to obtain either Siegehulk, Gory, Skathix or Hoforees the Tusked.

@fenrisdawolfe: I have added Retaliation Set to the recommended gears.
@Aven: I do use Rare heroes to clear those secret rooms in Doom Tower. It’s just that this Rare hero is not particularly good for clearing it.
It feels like Ayumilove doesn’t even do the secret rooms, as they rate plenty of top tier rares in SR as F tier, despite having a generic speed aura in both Rare attack champ SR and Rare Magic Champs SR.
They have their one job and they do much better than the competition doing it.
I habe retaliation on him amd he ia constantly poisioning everyone. Hes a glass cannon though so he needs shields. But he can be good.
I used Assassin for a while in my cb team. I thought the rating here didn’t do his kit justice. I didn’t have a strong poisoner, and his kit looked promising to me. I only took him to 50, but I did fully book him. The books were a big mistake. He requires many books, and they still don’t get him where he needs to be. Why?
Note that even fully booked, his A1 and A2 only have 75% chance to land. Also note that his A1 only applies ONE poison for ONE turn. So basically 3/4 of the time, you deal ONE poison damage. His weaken is nice because it lands consistently, and the debuff extend is nice when it happens. As a poisoner, however, do not be deceived: he’s really, REALLY bad.
If you are early game and desperate for a temporary poisoner, you’ll be better served by Outlaw Monk.
@B Presta-Valachovic: Assassin is good for early-mid game players for Clan Boss (Easy ~ Normal). However, Assassin requires a lot of skill tomes and it’s not worth investing since his usage will be confined in those levels of Clan Boss. You will get better champions over time when you play the game for a long time to replace Assassin.
Assassin is definitely underrated. I can easily see him in a poison heavy team against clan boss. For example, Assassin, Kael, Warmaiden, Bulwark, and Spirithost, all in Lifesteal and Speed/Accuracy.
I can’t help but feel that Ayumilove gave Assassin a low rating because she already has a large number of better champions, forgetting not every player has such a great pool of heroes from which to pull.
This guy is a beast in Clan Boss. I think he’s the only rare with his A2 skill.
Looks like viable debuff extender for F2P, will level him to 40 and run with 2 poisoners on CB. If he will work on hard then we shoot 4 the stars 😀
I believe this guy will end up being considered a top-tier rare. Everyone seems to just be glossing over him, but he is as good, if not better than, Coffin Smasher, as far as rares go.
Hi, Newbie here. I started the Game 10 Days Ago and drew Frozen Banshee out of one of my first Green Shards 😀 Now this Event gets dropped and with Assassin + Kael + Frozen Banshee i feel like i´m gonna do more Damage to CB than i should be allowed to, atm 😀
