What blessings should I put on Slayer?

Could a mastery guide be posted here please?

I can confirm that his A2 AOE – ICE CRUSH hits really hard.
His A3 can be a very good tool in Arena.
His A1 is nothing special though.
If he had higher speed he would be much more viable.
I doubt he is 6 star worthy but he can help as lvl 40 or 50.

His need for so many different stats makes him bad as a rare.
    Berserker is a better Nuker/Finisher.
Other champs although not rares can stun too.
I´d certainly enjoy a content creator fully maxing him out and showcasing Slayer.
He seems in need of a buff, possibly his speed needs to be 100 or closer to 100 and his A1 and A2 could have some better/added debuffs. maybe -20% Turnmeter on his A2 and Decrease max HP by 20-30% of the dmg dealt on the A1.

@john It’s one 5% poison, not two. If you want someone to poison in Clan Boss, Outlaw Monk does better, and without the chance for a weak hit when the Boss goes affinity. Booking for the stun percentage matters nothing for any boss, but you have to in order to get a cooldown reduction, which you would want for boss usage.

If he placed two poisons atop of the ATK down (the weaker ATK down at that), then I might consider him a good rare. He’s definitely no Kael.

If you’re lucky enough to book down his A2 first, then he’s decent as a Faction Wars champ just for the waves. Pretty sure the reason Ayumi rates him so low for FW is because so many other barbarians bring so much more useful stuff to the table for the FW bosses. This guy is really only useful for the waves.

What build did you have him in @Word ? I get confused at times trying to figure out and tweak a build. If you could list The gear and settings you have/had, I am guessing quite a few folk would be so pleased! “Keep knocking them down!” G’luck all! Nick.

This champ is under the radar. I saw an excel sheet that put him at S in Arena. I agree. He was one of my first and I was using him until just a month ago in gold 4. His AOE hits like a truck and his stun is awesome. This is a good cheap hero.

  9. John

This is a top tier champion, use it basically in arenas, campaign and he’s great in the clan boss. Why? Well
    A1 30/50% decrease attack 25%
    A2 Aeo, all enemies attack
A3 ascending gives 2 poison buffs of 5%for 2 turns
    And a 75%chances of stun 2 turnd
Weakness, defense is low, so gear him up with healing gear and shield stats-hp, defense, c. Rate, accuracy.
This probably the most versatile rare champion, use it, reduce the cooldown and get those poison buffs running

  10. Oleg

He was one of my first champions some months ago and therefore upgraded and used. I would say that he did well especially in Arena offence.
Of course when I found someone better I changed Slayer, but in Bronze and Silver levels he helped me a lot… more than for 1 star :))
So ratings of many champions I would split to Early, Mid and Late game. For early Slayer is 4*, for late – definitely 1-2*

I copied from a cutesy build, but I think we all know what “glubs” are. Still hoping for confirmation from someone more knowledgeable, but the Warmaiden gear recs from this site look perfect for Slayer (but I can’t imagine anyone using him outside of his faction crypt, so only one side of that table seems relevant):

    2 Offense + 1 Speed
1 Accuracy Set, 1 Speed Set, 1 Offense Set

    Equipment Stat Priority:
    Weapon (ATK)
    Helmet (HP)
    Shield (DEF)
    Gauntlets (C.RATE / C.DMG)
    Chestplate (ATK%)
    Boots (SPD)
    Ring (ATK)
    Amulet (C.DMG)
    Banner (ACC)

And, again, he seems like a great champion to give your imperfect attacker gear to. I mean, if a chestplate is DEF% and HP% and you didn’t trash it (potentially great for other champs), don’t give it to him. But if something has secondary stats that you wouldn’t want to give to your main attackers (and even some of your benchwarmers), but you can’t bring yourself to trash it, give it to Slayer. A good rule of thumb might be if you would pay the silver to get the item back and give it to another champion when you’re done with him, it’s probably too good for him (assuming you don’t have much great 4-6 star gear, because if you do, you should probably be trashing Slayer instead of reading this).

  12. idktho

@Michael This site tends to put together these basic overview pages and then come back to add more specific recommendations later. With trash champions like this, they often never get around to it. But I’m here partly for gear recommendations too, since I’ll probably be using him in faction wars for awhile (although I notice that as of March 31st, no one’s even come back to add a faction war rating, again because he sucks).

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can confirm, but I think he’ll use a variation on the most common build for attack champions, which I think is OFF/OFF/SPD with CRIT RATE glubs, SPD shoes, ATK ring, CRIT DAMAGE necklace, and ACC banner (weapon, hat, and shield never change); with stat prioritization ATK% > CRIT RATE > CRIT DAMAGE > SPD > ACC.

I’d like to prioritize ACC more, but obviously it’s hard to knock the stats I listed before ACC. I think the gear choices (and most or all of the masteries, not that he’s worth farming scrolls) listed for Warmaiden on this site all apply to Slayer. I’m leaning toward the ACC/SPD/OFF build from there if I do have to use him for faction wars (probably just with 1-2 star gear at or near level 1, with non-optimized stats that don’t quite fit this or any build).

If I do use him, I’ll probably farm scrolls for tier 1-2 masteries (Deadly Precision, Keen Strike, and Pinpoint Accuracy, but not Charged Focus, probably not Shield Breaker, and maybe not replace them with anything, just stop at 40 scrolls), but even that will be a bit of a waste.

Raid Codex (and probably basic logic, but I’m far from having a tier 6 mastery, so I haven’t thought about them at all) suggests Warmaster for him, which is very weak anecdotal evidence that he can use the same mastery build as Warmaiden. I’d say Charged Focus is a waste on him everywhere except Arena, but I see it on a lot of champions I’d say that about, so I’m probably just ignorant. The entire mastery build this site lists for Warmaiden might be 100% optimal for Slayer too, idk.

But her page looks like a good start for Slayer builds.

  13. Mac

Could we please have Masteries for this champ? Thank you 🙂

  14. Reza

It’s equipment set is easy. 2 offense and 1 accuracy or 1 offence 1 accuracy and 1 speed
    3 offence for early game
Priorities are ATK %, ACC, Speed, Crit Rate, …

  15. Michael

I use this sight to choose how to build and equip my champions. You do not have suggested gear for this characters skills. What gear and skill tree will compliment this champions abilities?

  16. Mex

This champ is in bad tier even though it has so many 5 Stars? The only 3 Star is Fire Knight and everything else he seems to be good in. Needs to be re-evaluated maybe.

  17. Rook

Can we get equipment guidance for Slayer?
