I’ve always had issues with Pesty. When I want his HP burn, I get his TM boost. When I want the TM boost, I get the Burn. The randomness really does detract from his value.
@4shock: Since you have a Geomancer, you can use him instead of Pestilus for higher amount of damage. Geomancer and Pestilus will not pair well together as they will fight with one another for the HP Burn unless speed tuned correctly where Geomancer places the HP Burn debuff first followed by Vizier extending the debuff.
I need hp burn and especially leech for cb. I have one spot available and vizierv to extend so he only needs to land once. He has good base HP and defence stats. What’s the main issue with him before I build?

Oddly, Pestilus isn’t on the page for the Leech debuff!
So I am new in terms of using the [Leech] ability. And since that is his A1, I imagine that in CB, and if your champs are geared in Lifesteal… I see the logic. I have Tyrant Ixlimor so I don’t care about HP Burn. Battle Weirding (A3) could prove helpful in a team that is already C. DmG heavy. However, I find it unfortunate in just how much of a niche champ he is. Yes, it could help now that nearly all the dungeons has 5 more stages added to them. I think he would shine the most in Doom Tower – on the Frost Spider boss and that’s it. So yeah, I am thinking about building him up to try out in CB. Having more than on HP-burner for frost spider will shorten the time it takes to defeat Frost Spider on Auto. And then Faction Wars.
I find it odd how this guide uses the Cookie Cutter template for Attack champs. ANd the in-game recommendation suggests HP% and Def%….. I fear that I am setting myself up for disappointment with the build suggested in this page because he is just going to be Squishy AF….
He’s really just “okay” for early game content. Clan Boss he is overshadowed by Coffin Smasher, and unless you aren’t grinding for Accuracy sets or forging Perception sets, the aura isn’t all that useful. The a3 can be relied on in terms of Crit damage, but that should be a grinding priority in the first place and more is always better. His a1 and a2 are inconsistent unless booked, or at least that’s how it’s worked out for me. On paper, I was jumping for joy when I pulled him because I loved his kit. Very useful in CB, dungeon bosses, and Arena. I don’t use him in Arena or in dungeons ever.

I leveled him and fully ascended him, he is not doing that Well in my teams. I couldnt find him a good utility. At most average on clan boss.
yeah thatz how it seems to work. I have em and when it fails it looks like he gets hit then turn meter boosts.
If his A2 gets resisted, does it still count as “not applying the debuff”, thereby triggering the turn meter boost?
Seems ideal for frost spider. Will also be a good help on upper dt waves with the inc accuracy. Very frustrating about the turn meter boost, wrecks him for speed tuned clan boss teams where his kit would otherwise be perfect.

@Ayumilove curious why you have combinations of speed/accuracy and speed/perception sets? Perception is just accuracy with added speed, so it’s far superior. Why recommend accuracy set?
