    So what blessing should I place on her?

    Those she is a “Defense” champ. Her A1 and A3 are based off her Atk amount. And her A2 is based off her HP amount.
    They should have classified her as an Attack champ but her kit is a mashup, especially with the HP aura.
    So, Defense she is…;)
    Still not worth books or masteries.

    Why do you list Attack % as the most important artifact stat? She is a defense champion.
    Is this a mistake or do I not understand something.

    I’m fairly new to Raid. The champion type – IE: attack, defense, HP, etc, – does that stat interact with the damage multiplier to determine total damage? For example if the multiplier is 5.5 on a Def champion, and that champion has 1000 DEF, is the avg damage going to be 5500 or is the multiplier for damage always based on ATK?

    She’s underrated, especially for early mid. Her A1 is ELEVEN coefficient. 11* 771 is 8500 ish. Compare that to the starters who have 4 * 1100-1400. Even Elhain’s lightning arrow at around 6 * 1300 isn’t that much harder hitting.

    Then you get the blessing for +300 attack, which benefits her more than others, as she is immense coëfficiënt.

    She should not be treated as trash at all.

    hi me again, still learning. I was looking at Masteries. This Champions A1 skill is the best, the a2 is annoying on auto and the A3 can be great but isn’t where the where the power is so I was wondering if Cycle of Violence was the right choice. Opportunist would seem better here especially in Arana where she excels.

    First I just had to say how great this site is thanks very much. I am new to this 2 months in and mostly F2P player and I have to say that Preserver has been and still is the rock of account and first champion I have levelled all the way to 60th. She rocks the arena with her speed she can crowd control with her freeze and her two hit A1 is a hard take down. I have her in life steal so if not on auto hardly touch use her A2 as she just keeps going. Granted she isn’t fast but I now have all 4 starting champions now and Preserver runs rings round thier squishy butts in almost everything. Maybe in doing it wrong but I think shes better that this guide states. It her damage multipliers that I think is under valued. 5.5 x 2 is hard.

    One of the funnest things I do in arena is hunt down Rotos teams. She decimates with her a1. I can also solo Nightmare campaign stage 5-6. My primary has 2k atk, 54% crit rate, and 109 crit damage.

    My second is only level 50 but I have been playing around with her in a Destroy set for Scarab. So far the results are good, I think she will do better when I have full masteries and level 60.

    One thing I can’t stress enough with Preserver is the high hp regardless of the build. A lot of her survivability comes from that.

    I used her in my fw21 3 star run (along with Septimus, Valerie, Hellmut, Stag Knight). Having no Raglin or Ursala, my strategy was to cc the adds (especially the right one which ignores def and likes to oneshot one of my champs if she gets a turn) with her freeze, Hellmut’s stuns, and decr. speed from Preserver + Stag Knight and focus all other damage on the boss.

    Lv40 one has higher crit rate by 15%! CDMG about the same on both.

    So I’ve taken the previously 3*to lv39, just so I can tell them apart… Neither is ascended. And she definitely hits more consistently for higher damage. Using them on the same team in tag and on the same targets. Occasionally the 40 hits 6k+ but also as low as 2k. The lv39 is really consistent at 4-5k.

    I think what is happening here is that the base attack value is variable, based on a die roll. So the lv40 rolls low on attack and tht attack is increased by the armour percentages to a still low value.

    The lv39 on the oher hand has all flat attack on 4 pieces so even when she rolls low on her naked attack the additions from the armour smooth everything out.

    Both are only hitting for 393 naked so the flat values are a decent percentage of that,and are then multiplied by the huge 5.5x… So regardless of her attack roll the 600+ attack from her armour is giving 3.5k + the overall attack roll.

    Some champs seem to be more variable on attack rolls than others… I’ve noticed that Wanderer for instance is very inconsistent – often hits for less than Preserver despite having high multipliers nd one of the highest naked attacks amongst the rares….

    The thing I love about this champ is the number of different ways you can build her. She’s almost as fast as Kael so I sometimes use my speedster version to nip in and freeze him in arena. In lifesteal she’s just a good GP champ, though maybe doesn’t particularly excel anywhere..

    I now have a third and can’t decide how to build her. Defence and HP would be good as she doesn’t need much flat attack to hold her own and is very tanky in the first place. 6 x crit rate with crit damage gloves would be interesting too.

    Seem she benefits a lot from the sort of kit you normally sell or doesn’t really fit on other champs. Very solid champion, highly recommended even if she doesn’t really have a niche.

    Check previous comment from @Nabil that mention he personally won’t stack % atk compare to base stat. Perhap it does has relation?

    By the way I have one 4* full ascend, base stat atk 405, total atk 1091 (with 16k HP and 1K def and good speed).

    I am planning to make it 5* since she hit like a truck and focus to use her in arena.

    How do their C.RATE ad C.DMG compare? That’s the only other explanation I can think of, if your 3* has a higher chance to crit and/or higher crit damage multiplier, she would hit harder.

    Curious thing…

    I have two, one 4* and another 3*. So the 4* has total attack of about 900, from a base of 393.

    3* has total attack of 700 from a base of 289.

    And the 3* seems to hit harder. Regularly hitting twice for 5k or more. 4* sometimes hits for more, but more often for 2-4k each.

    4* has attack % and defence % lifesteal to get to that total attack. The 3* has all flat attack speed sets on her bottom line, just 3 and 4*.

    Just going to try them both again in tag but seems pretty clear thus far that she hits harder.Might try getting her total attack up to the same as the 4*s to compare equalish attacks with flat and % based attack rolls.

    She is 5.5 atk multiplier EACH of the two auto attack.. My god even though she is a defense champ, any tiny attack added will reward you… I wouldnt stack % attack though but anyway, check that raid guide website they list those multipliers…
    Those ppl in plarium are wierdos… Her stats are really well balanced for a rare…101 speed or so, she is on par or better than starting rares…

    She is SO good, I don’t agree with the usability ratings at all! since I got her shes the only champion I can always rely on, shes rare but sure have Epic qualities and I geared her with a lifesteal(all on pink) and a speed set (all in gold) her health is through the roof, she barely take damage and she destroy anything.

    I have been using my Preserver as my main champion since I got her. I have a full set of Regeneration Artifacts and crit rate. So far she is the biggest reason I have progressed as far as I have (tackling 12/3 brutal right now). The build I have on her has allowed her to win a one-on-one fight with stage 10 Minotaur.

    @Tuku473: Thanks for pointing out! I’ll update the equipment guide based on your observations. I think she will do fairly well with Life Sets to increase her Shield capacity or Offense Sets to increase her Attack power.

    I just dropped this champion and saw that it had a 4.9 in arena offense (which im currently struggling with) so I wanted to find a guide since the build provided on the game seems kind of sucky.
    But just like the in game guide, you recommend building 2 defense sets, why is this a good idea on this champion if you dont mind me asking?
    Her shield scales with her max HP and her damage scales with Attack not with Defense, wouldnt it be better to go with attack or hp sets instead of 2 defense? I can understand the speed one but im struggling to understand the defense ones.

    @Paul: The Champion’s ratings in this page is derived from the game itself. The tier list is based by comparing the champions within the same rarity based on their usefulness in the following areas (e.g. Fire Knight, Spider, Ice Golem, Clan Boss, Campaign, Faction Wars, etc) and they are ranked in the order of its viability. Example: if there are 2 champions both are Rare and has good ratings like here, they are compared based on their skill (which offers better support to his/her allies or provides better debuff on the enemies, then they are grouped in the sub-tiers of God, Excellent, Good, Bad, Terrible.

    her ratings in game are 4.8 to 4.4 with 1 low being 3.4 on spiders den
