Zargala Champion Lore
Zargala grew up accustomed to blood and battle, the daughter of a mercenary chieftain who led the band known as the Usurpers. With a sharp, humorous wit and a streak of rebelliousness, she became childhood friends with the son of another Usurper, Grengar. The two were almost like brother and sister, and secretly hoped to one day leave the warband and found their own warrior-group.
The Usurpers worked for a while quelling a peasant uprising in eastern Kaerok, their services paid for by a Banner Lord named Sir Marston. They did so without realizing they had slipped into the midst of a dangerous feud. Many of the peasantry worked in land that was contested between Sir Marston and the neighboring lord, Sir Kentz. The presence of Orc mercenaries gave Kentz an opportunity to strike. He declared that he would intervene to protect ‘his’ people from the rapacious Orc attacks.
Grengar and Zargala were preparing to depart on the very same night that Kentz attacked. They abandoned their plans as the Usurper camp was assailed by Kaerok knights and men-at-arms. The slaughter was fierce, and Zargala witnessed her father killed in the melee. She herself was knocked out, and didn’t wake until it was all over.
As Zargala came round she found herself amid her slain friends and family. Grengar was among them — he looked to have fallen while trying to protect her unconscious body. Filled with sorrow and rage, Zargala took up her father’s great ax and set out after Kentz’s forces.
She tracked them until she found them at a narrow river crossing in battle with a group of Orcs Zargala did not recognize — Kentz, it seemed, was taking the opportunity to rid the land of all Orc warriors.
Zargala wasted no time. First, she hacked down the guards protecting the Humans’ horses – which the knights had left on the near bank as they attacked across the ford – then set them loose. In the chaos that followed she raised a racket in the nearby woods, beating her ax against tree trunks, rattling branches and roaring. She then stepped to the edge of the trees and pretended to give encouragement to non—existent Orc warriors behind. While they were disoriented by the horse stampede and the threat of an assault to their rear, the Humans were counterattacked by the Orcs they were fighting, led by one with a mane of red hair who wielded twin axes. The knights broke and Sir Kentz escaped.
In the aftermath, Zargala met with the Orc leader. She recognized him from a chance meeting years before, where she had encountered him on his strange quest to take a Human orphan to the Eternal Citadel, the headquarters of the Sacred Order. His name was Galek, and he offered Zargala a place in his band. She turned him down, but agreed to travel with him until they had left the borders of Kaerok. The two quickly rekindled the embers of a friendship born from that bizarre meeting many moons ago, enlivened by Zargala’s humor and Galek’s earnest good nature. As summer follows spring, love blossomed between them.
The two Orcs were, however, forced to part ways in body, if not in affection. Zargala never lost her desire to see Sir Kentz’ head atop a pike, and was devoted to see the deed done. When Galek left his band to answer a ‘call’ he could not explain, she was devastated. Both knew their purposes, for the time being, lay with causes besides that of their love for each other. They vowed they would find each other again, one day.

I have a Siegehulk and a Zargala, i have Siegehulk upgraded but not Zargala, he does a lot of damage and decrease def on crowd, for me he looks a lot better than Zargala on paper, cuz shes got Crack armor on 4 cd, Siege got it on 3, and he buffs himself and hits notably harded, Zargala is a bit better where You need the weaken, but its for 1 turns and 50% only so.. dont think this is a S champ and Siegehulk is a B class champ, theyr boath really close, exept that im a F2P acc and use 15 tomes Just to maybe compare them as a debuffer, im better off With Siegehulk
What blessings are recommended?
The 2 star rating against the Doom Tower’s Celestial Griffin (3rd rotation, magic affinity which Zargala is strong against) is much too low I’d say. Built as a nuker – which you’d do in any case for other areas – her simple big hits are perfect against the boss and she helps clear the round 1 & 2 waves quickly as well.
She´s an ABSOLUTE Beast. I use her over any other champ in Arena even many legendaries.
I put some of my best gear on her: divine crit rate, divine speed and perception set.
33,5k hp, 4k atk, 2k def, 220 spd, 103 critr, 180critdmg, 130 res, 293 acc
She often does more dmg than my nuker despite having crit rate gloves not crit dmg ones.
Bc I don´t have Seer/Prince Kymar she is my go-to wave-debuffer too and also speeds up runs by dealing so much dmg while also debuffing. She completely brought my game to the next level as my first epic def-down for a long time. Pulled other def-down champions epic and legendaries months later. If I didn´t pull her back then I might have quit the game right there and then. She made everything so much easier. I use her almost everywhere
@Toby sure as an early game player you’ll use lifesteal set in almost on every champion. but as you progress further, you’ll find a way to keep your champion alive (good suppoort/cc champ) even without lifesteal set, especially for someone that place debuff like zargala, tayrel, stag, etc. (ofc they can nuke too). so i personally stay away from lifesteal set, and focus mainly on stat needed. speed and perception set is best for champion like this so lore of steel will give you avantages
@wired you are correct, not sure what goodjazz means. 50% chance to land after the first hit, which means on the second and third hits. 75% chance when fully booked.
@Chiniski I came here for this comment. If she doesn’t auto-use her A2 on a low HP spiderling…how is she worth any stars at all in Spider’s Den?
What’s up with zargala being a 5 star in spider but not aiming the skill on the spiderlings?
Zargala is one of my favorite champions and I think your ratings are spot on but I want to know why you have lore of steel in so many of the masteries for dungeons when it doesn’t help lifesteal gear. It makes a lot more sense for your campaign and arena recommendations but none for the dungeons. The 2.75% boost you get on two pieces of the equipment isn’t worth it. I appreciate your work but it has cost me a lot of gems to reset my dungeon teams when I researched it further.
Is anyone here in a position to recommend Bondage Hoods and Headgear? Cheers xx
Im a new player and I need help on clan boss.
i pulled zargala, nazana and jinglehunter.
Currently using kael, coffinsmasher, doompriest, warmaiden, drokgul(unbooked, not even ascended xd).
Who should i replace?
I tried to use her in Spider’d Den and she performed OK’ish, yet for some reason was not using her A2 on auto. Retried on manual and it went way better. Is there any problem with her A2 on auto in general or I just had some issue on my side? Probably the algorithm has it hard to select the lowest HP spider for use of that skill, not sure.
@Wired
You got confused here. He was not asking for her A2 and A3. She only has one chance to land it, after the first hit of her A3. That is by 50% (75% when booked).
@Marzy
She is probably not the champ you are looking for. That said, when booked up she can do her A3 75% of her turns, what makes it rather reliable to land. But in arena we probly want it to land on turn 1, no matter what.
@Marzy She does Decrease DEF on both the second and the third hit with a 60% change (85% booked). You will also need more ACC then the opponents have in RES
Does she land the decrease def with the second and the third hit or just one time after the first hit? Cause i need a champion who place the decrease def for sure in arena
@scols she is useful for hard or brutal cb as she brings def down and weaken, but since she is squishy she isn’t much useful afterwards
@scols: Zargala is a heavy hitter. You need to stack her up with lots of Attack, Critical Rate and Critical Damage stats. If you are able to inflict high amount of damage with her A2 skill “Devastate” to knockout the enemy in 1 hit, then it will automatically trigger her A3 Skill “Crack Armor” for free at the same turn! This makes her a very dangerous champion if you are facing her in Arena. If you have her on your Arena team, your opponent will be having a hard time dealing with you. She is one of the top tier Epic.
@Scols: In my opinion, she is op because of her shield break. Technically her A2 is another AOE attack if used properly. Try to use her manually instead of auto for the best result.
May I ask what makes she so good for clan boss? Coz I have her but not really feel like “that good”. Maybe using the wrong artifact + she is just 5* yet / fully ascended.
@Sterling: You could go with that option that you have proposed (1 Speed Set, 1 Critical Set and 1 Offense Set). It depends on whether the equipment provides sufficient substats of the one you need. If you do not have good Glove/Gauntlet that can provide Critical Rate stat, the alternative will be to get the overall equipment to provide sufficient Critical Rate stat from substats and get additional Critical Rate stat from Critical Rate set.
Would it be worth going 1 speed, 1 crit, 1 attack on Zargala? Im not sure how the damage numbers are different or how much of a difference there would be in general
