Put him on a reflex set and enjoy his a2 most of the time.
I use him with allure, apothecary, scyl, coldheart in fireknight. Till aoound fire knoghts level of 145 most of my chanpions are force type.still building up on spirit

  2. TalimSwift

He’s one of those few uncommons that have specific niche uses and are pretty good at those tasks. Like Armiger is great against some bosses for turn meter control. Crusader is great against the fire knight. Outside those niche uses, they are not wow, so, like most uncommons, bring up to 40. Keep them there, and one day you evolve them to 5-stars with the purpose of making them 5-star chickens. Until then, use them in those specific areas until you pull a better champion that can perform this task – namely, multi hit, with rally. Good luck, actually, there aren’t many champions with the Rally skill.
Do not expect damage output from him. He has one job only. To hit the shield 2x or, 4-5x when using the rally skill. It doesnt matter if he just slaps the boss for minimal damage, the important part is to break the shield. Your nukers will kill the boss, not him.

He is good for a very early game champion. DONT put any books into him at all. Commons to 2 use the twos to feed guys like this to 3 and then use the 3’s to feed good rares to get them to 4 and keep a decent amount of 4’s to both feed and run 4’s to 5’s or strong rares to 5’s primarily for food unless they are like Athel, Kael, and Elhain though she will be food as will Galek.

@AnatoLich: Ally Join Attack will always use their default attack. For Crusader, he will use his A1 (default attack). The damage multiplier is available on the A1 skill.

  5. AnatoLich

Who knows what is his Damage Multiplier for A2?

  6. Grilka

I put a retaliation set on him and he’s great at breaking down the shield in Fire Knights, especially when the ally attack joining him is a 3x hit on their A1, like Athel or Apothecary.

  7. SaLtatriX

In my experience, the Crusader is great for early to early mid-game. Two attacks on A1 help at the beginning with the Fire Knight until you progress further and acquire better champions. If you are mostly F2P that is and have no access to better champions. I would not 6 star him, of course, or invest too much in him, as he will get replaced pretty quickly, but for beginners, I would recommend him. I’d put a set of toxic and accuracy gear on him.

  8. Sillak

I’m surprised he is not class S he does great damage with moderate survivability and abilities.

  9. veradico

I would rank this character C or F. His survivability is garbage and attacks are slow and weak, even with proper gearing.
