As background i am an end game player now with auto farm teams for most arwas of the game. This includes barbarians faction wars. Zephyr sniper and armiger are the only 2 uncommon champs i use now. Zeph is at lv 50 and in def boots, chest and gloves. No crit, 95 speed and no masteries. How is this useful? Taunt set and Counterattack (valkerie). I also run sbbowyer in the team, scyl and farakin. Soulbond is the primary target, but zeph starts to provoke. Slow speed and low hp mean that valk shiels and ca are permanent and huge.
However not ftp strategy…. Although a scullcrusher works well here for other areas of the game, and jizoh is a free epic that can place ca on a target. Zs is so slow that it wont drop off.

2 things you need to look at. Sister militant multiplier is 3.5 per attack on her a1. Sniper is 1.9 defense. Sister militant also gains an extra 10% damage from her books.
Sister militant max base attack is only 870 and the snipers max base defense is 1244.
Gearless sniper should have a fully booked base damage of 2599.96
Sister should be at 3654 without gear and fully booked.
My personal nod goes to the sniper though. She has 3k more hp. You can prioritize def, crit rate and damage and hp. She’s going to be tankier. You’ve got a 30% chance of increasing
Cd on a skill although I wouldn’t bother with accuracy.
I started with Kael and I’m exploring champions with an air on their a1 to replace him with. I have banshee and sinesha but I’m new enough that books are still valuable so I was looking hard at saurus.
Saurus has the same attack as snipers defense. Sniper has more hp and a 17 point speed advantage. Saurus a1 should be around 3,110. Bad speed and horrible defense causes me to still stick with my new assessment and strip the gear off of banshee and try the sniper instead.
@Lolrider: I think it makes sense because Zephyr sniper has additional advantage from high DEF here – increased survivability, while Sister’s ATK stat only affects skill damage. It would be imbalanced if Zephyr was dealing the same amount of dmg from A1.

So, I’ve been trying out various AoE auto-attackers, and I’m noticing a serious discrepancy between Zephyr Sniper and Sister Militant. Sister Militant seems to significantly more damage with comparable stats, and I’m not sure why. I guess it’s because Zephyr Sniper’s A1 doesn’t actually do more damage with increased skill ranks? Maybe at higher ranks of Spider her increased DEF becomes more important.

Her “places a heal on allies” skill lasts 2 turns, not 1, according to the in-game description.

Pinpoint Accuracy
Exalt in Death
Swarm Smiter
Evil Eye
Sniper
makes 0 sense, since Zephyr has no debuffs to apply.
stun set works ignoring your acc/ enemy res stats.
@Rook: Thanks for highlighting the issue! I have corrected it from Attack to Defense stat since Zephyr Sniper is Defense champion.
Why do you have attack listed as her primary stat? Her main ability is based off of defense.
Also, ATK isn’t listed on her current Ranger’s Skill. Does it still affect that?
