Arbais the Stonethorn Champion Lore Synopsis
Arbais the Stonethorn was once a gentle Fae whose life began beside the ancient Heart Tree deep within the Mistwood. Growing from a seedling chrysalis, she shared the same soil, sunlight, and life force as the mighty tree that stood at the forest’s heart. When she was finally strong enough to walk, Arbais wandered through the woodland, learning its secrets and forming close bonds with every part of nature. She spoke with birds, beasts, and trees, embracing the peaceful rhythm of the forest. Yet no matter how far she travelled, she always returned to the Heart Tree, sinking her roots beside its own. To Arbais, the great tree was like a loving mother whose soothing Rhythm filled her with comfort whenever she entered her long, peaceful slumbers.
During one of those deep sleeps, disaster quietly spread across the Mistwood. A terrible corruption created by the servants of Siroth seeped into the Heart Tree, twisting its spirit and poisoning the Rhythm that connected every living thing. Arbais awoke from dreadful nightmares only to discover they reflected reality. The once noble Heart Tree had become infected, and the same darkness had already begun creeping through her own wooden body. Horrified, she desperately tried to awaken the Heart Tree’s true spirit, but it no longer recognised her. The surrounding trees had also fallen under the corruption, leaving her completely alone. She even attempted to scrape the evil away by force, but only damaged the tree while the darkness continued spreading through both of them. Realising there was no other way to survive, Arbais painfully tore her roots away from the Heart Tree, ripping away part of it while leaving part of herself behind in the process.
The separation almost claimed her life. Without the Heart Tree’s strength, Arbais’s bark slowly hardened into stone as she staggered through the forest in grief. She eventually found refuge in the Whispering Glade, where warm sunlight and the pure waters of the Greenrun Stream gradually restored her fading life. During her recovery, she discovered the broken fragment of the Heart Tree still attached to her roots. Sensing that the corruption had been left behind, she chose to keep the fragment instead of destroying it. Although damaged forever, it still carried a faint echo of the Rhythm they had once shared, serving as both a treasured reminder of happier days and a painful symbol of everything that had been lost.
Many years later, the corruption threatened to consume the entire Mistwood, forcing the Sylvan Elves to unite with the Skyiron Dwarves and the Shadowkin rebels of Yakai for one final assault. Arbais joined their army, taking the form of a graceful masked woman so the elves would better understand and accept her. Yet beneath that calm appearance lay years of heartbreak and anger. When she finally stood before the horribly twisted Heart Tree, emotions she had buried for decades erupted. She charged into battle against corrupted Fae, Demonspawn, and the forces serving the Mikage Autocracy, striking without hesitation. Her roots drained the life from her enemies, while her vines tore through countless foes. As the battle grew fiercer, she abandoned her disguised form and fought as her original tree like self, her stone covered body resisting every attack while she carved a path towards the Heart Tree.
Together with her allies, Arbais finally succeeded in driving Siroth’s corruption from the Heart Tree, though the damage could never truly be undone. The once sacred place had become scarred by fire, death, and decay, making it impossible for her to return to the peaceful life she had once known. The forest she loved had been saved, but the home she cherished was gone forever. For a time she roamed the Mistwood, hunting down the remaining servants of darkness to ensure the corruption could never rise again. Eventually she settled along the forest’s borders, planting herself in lonely watch posts for years at a time. Now feared and respected as Arbais the Stonethorn, she remains an unyielding guardian who silently watches over the Mistwood, forever protecting the land that shaped her while carrying the sorrow of everything she sacrificed to save it.

Do Arbais’s passives require ACC to land?
@Drhyde: There are few champions who has the ability to provide Stoneskin buff.
Is arbias still the only champ that has access to stoneskin through skills still?
On the blessings it suggests Brimstone for her. This doesn’t work to well because her a1 blocks active skills, and she lands it a lot, so brimstone won’t proc. She is fantastic though, doesn’t hit very hard but got me through stage 20 of the faction crypts with that a1 .
Arbais is clearly S-tier, what sort of rating is this?
She needs 10 mythical tomes total, not just 5.
