Murder Inc has a video and Grimskin is in the top of defensive damage dealers. Was about to use him as food but now I may try him out.

@TheTodmeister: For higher rarity champion, the expectations are much higher. If a decent-great Rare champion can do better than an Epic champion, that Epic champion will be rated/ranked lower. In Arena, you always want to have a close of 90~100% chance of something to happen. Otherwise, the battle is very unpredictable.

There are fully three YouTube reviews on this champion that flat out disagree with your opinion of this being a B-tier champ. And even as a newb, I’m going to strongly disagree with that ranking.

His provoke debuff is done better by a rare, farmable Templar that every player is guaranteed to get, and likely be able to book without tomes long before this champ pops up. Mathematically, 4 chances at 50% is better than two (not counting booking him, because youtube reviews say it’s a waste of books, and f2p Epic books don’t come easy), followed by 25% chance of affecting everyone else (you’re stacking iterative percentages, it looks great on paper, but your actual calculated chance for affecting anyone but the targeted opponent is total suck.)

The A3, AoE buff stripping is cool, but aside from the dungeon progress challenges — which you likely are far past when you get this guy — the main reason for buff stripping becomes stripping shields on arena opponents or removing DEF buffs. That job is done -way better by an ascended Valla, who not only strips the shield but does DEF down. And you actually ranked her lower as an epic champ than this guy.

I’m very surprised you have Grimskin rated as a B rated champion. He seems like a C champ at the very best, but leaning towards F. With his RNG provoke and not impressive damage modifiers he disappoints. He can’t even be used to soak up damage since his provoke all is so RNG and can often not hit.

I would be very glad for a Mastery guide. Thanks for the good work! 🙂
