Baroth the Bloodsoaked Review

Baroth, the mighty Bloodsoaked, roars his way into the battlefields of Raid Shadow Legends, a force to be reckoned with in the HP Force affinity champions category. Hailing from the Barbarians faction, this epic champion was introduced alongside the legendary Vergumkaar fusion, and he’s got the kit to back up his reputation. With a single target decrease in attack and defense, some shielding, and turn meter control, Baroth has got it all going on.

But don’t let his impressive skillset fool you, folks. When it comes to damage, Baroth’s performance can be a bit of a snooze-fest. His shield may have a high cooldown, but it stacks on top of itself like pancakes on a breakfast plate, keeping you alive and kicking in Faction Wars. And let’s not forget his ability to bring some serious utility to the Fire Knight, delivering multi-hits and strong debuffs that will leave your opponents shaking in their boots. So if you’re looking for a champion that’s as dependable as a trusty steed, Baroth’s your man.

Where do i get the cooldown ring?

  2. Timbo23

    Theres a cooldown ring?

  3. Hendrid

Just pulled this guy with legendary shard, colour me happy, coz I’m not.

  4. Nerdtrooper

Sure…they care so much! Cant you tell! Especially how thoughtful they are in designing kits and what they allow to be pushed out to the public. I cant wait to bust another sacred! I finally pulled a legendary… Royal Huntsman! Another very exciting champion. He has one shot and that’s it. But hey…Raid is the best and treats their players well.

  5. Get Real

@nerdtrooper you honestly think they care?

Got this guy from opening a sacred shard. Thanks again Plarium, for giving me yet another useless, piece of shit champion. I’m tired of getting stupid champions like this one, and I decided not to open another valuable shard until I have a guarantee that I will get them. The last guaranteed champion was Coldheart (using 7 void shards). But guess what… I used up 6 useless void champions to finally receive Coldheart on the 7th. No way this shit is random.

Youre losing me Plarium. Keep up the good work.

With a Shield set and a Clan Vs. Clan Shield ring Baroth can place three shields. Or, with a Cooldown ring he can place his A2 shield more often.

Not to say the same wouldn’t work better on or alongside Underpriest Brogni.

  8. gphx

In a Shield set and Clan Vs. Clan Shield ring Baroth the Bloodsoaked places three kinds of shields.

Underpriest Brogni then periodically increases the value of them by 30% in addition to the shield he himself places and his passive then gives all shields Reflect Damage and healing capability.

  9. Tom

Indeed in Doom Tower 1 shield is not enough because the scarab’s A2 removes it and his A1 places provocation which prevents putting the shield back again.
Advantage of Baroth is that he places a shield while (counter)attacking what is very handy.
My Baroth is not yet 60 but I am working on it to test him in a scarab team.

  10. Aquadorian

His popularity might rise now because of the Doom Tower, do you think? There’s a boss in there that counterattacks against anyone hitting while not wearing a shield. Baroth’s A2 puts a shield on all allies for 2 turns and the CD can be reduced to 3 if booked. Not that I’ve needed him so far for that boss fight since I have Zelotah whose A2 can do the same but for 3 turns on a 4 turn CD, but higher up the tower (post reset, sometime) presumably one might more than one champ doing this. However, the rare champ Metalshaper’s A2 looks even better: a shield on all allies for 2 turns on a (cheaply booked) 2 turn CD.

all i can say about this mess is….at least he can be food if the verg fusion comes around again

  12. MrShovel

I believe he should be at least four star for cb, because abilities with different effects can proc twice on warmaster, and he has decrease defense, and decrease attack on a 4 turn cooldown. Definitely not 5 star, but I’d say at least four star.

  13. Walazard

This one is kind of underrated.
Don’t let his A2 mislead you, he is not a healer.

Put him in a shield set and use him as your debuffer. He will do really well for you.

Not amazing, but very good considering he was free to get.

  14. Dim

This guy is in desperate need for some buff, he does not hit hard, his shield suck and his debuffs are single target so it takes away a lot from his utility. His only redeem point is that he has somewhat high base HP so he is a good champ for a shield set to get you through some levels in early-mid game. Not exceptional in any game area just helpful if you are lucky-unlucky to pull him early.

  15. James

Seems good for clan boss. Limited rebuffs on clan boss (can’t decrease speed or turn meter) but for longevity, this guy will remove attack buff, debuff attack and give shield/heal. Plus he will debuff defense. Dunno why he’s not rated higher in game. I have a few days to decide but I also like purgator (possibly for arena) and drowned dude (for F Crypts). Just barely missed getting baroth from the champ event so now I have this decision to make :/

@Zon: The damage from Warmaster and Giant Slayer does not contribute to his shield and healing. Only the damage output from his skill itself will be used to generate the healing and shield.

  17. Zon

Just wonder can the damage dealt by warmaster or gaintslayer can contribute to the shield and healing of his A2? If yes, then he will be useful for CV.

  18. AlJazeeraNews

Yo this dude seems insane in fire knight. all multi-hits. turn meter manipulation and massive shield for all allies. im pushing to get this dude in the event.
