Hatchet Slinger Storyline
While the bulk of Dwarven armies value discipline, there are those among the Children of the Stone who are far too wild-natured for line service. These mavericks, often recruited from the outcasts of the Dwarven society, are still useful, however. Wild they may be, but many fierce warriors can be found within their ranks. Hatchet Slingers are one such unit – skirmishers drafted from the lowest castes of the Kingdom, given basic gear and tasked with harassing the enemy. Far too unreliable to be trusted with a powerful ranged weapon such as a crossbow, they are instead allowed to carry a ridiculous number of throwing axes. Still, in experienced hands, even these become terrifying, as many of the Mountain King’s enemies have found out.
I use him in my CB Unkillable Team with 1 Block Damage Champ due to lack of other Champions, works fine for me.
Roshcard (Block Damage) – 247 Speed
Hatchet Slinger (Unkillable + takes Stun) – 229 Speed (with 2 Immortal Sets for 15% Heal to take the Stun)
Fayne (Dec Def, Weaken) – 177 Speed
Ninja (Dmg) – 171/221 Speed (both will work)
Tatura (Block Debuff) – 175 Speed
Hey, can you add the Name in the overview section like for other champions ? I have a tool that extracts your data and it kinda breakts it because it is not there 😀
Love your work !
“he puts unkillable on himself for 2 turns. kill the boss in his 2 turns. boss wont use his other skills and will keep hitting him with ignore def ability. make him so slow that his unkillable 2 turns last longer. i put him in swift parry with 130 speed and let the boss hit him first and pray to proc swift parry. it proced and i got extra turn to kill boss.”
– from a Reddit post how to beat FW 21. No need to level or book him.
Tempted to try this guy out in the faction wars, but that is a lot of books on his A1.
@NathanC: I have updated Hatchet Slinger’s equipment guide from C.DMG Chestplate to ATK% Chestplate.
@Doro626: I have updated the avatar for Hatchet Slinger. I guess Plarium did this because it causes confusion to players when distinguishing Hatchet Slinger with Gloril Brutebane.
Interesting. They changed his Avatar in teh game for the blue faced picture.
Umm, did they add Crit Damage as a possible drop on Chestplates when I wasn’t watching? Otherwise I think there is an issue with the suggested item listings.
