The king of the Magic Keep – and nothing more.
Not a good champion. Waste of a legendary and a real disappointment when the gold explosion turns into this guy. Twice. Out of four legendaries I have pulled two have been this impossible to use creature. He’s an arena champion with no AOE in an AOE meta. Really needs a rework.
Just got crushed by a 60 Errol in Classic Arena…lower powered team, very evenly matched…came down to Errol vs Bad El…Bad El lost.

He was first Lego I pulled and have been playing 4 months now and have yet to max him out. From what I have seen he hits like a truck and his A3 can be super useful in certain situations but his utility is low. I pulled him same weekend I pulled Stag and because of kit and team comps have Stag in sweet gear and maxed and booked and E is sitting in vault. Legos have to be special for me to make the investment. I am not big spender and would rather invest in toons that I can slot into most every situation. And E is situational at best.
Reason for def tree is he has no debuffs and retribution is a very nice skill on big hitters.
Is this guy worth booking? Also, in the video, it shows him with the Support mastery tree instead of defense. What is the rationale for going with Defense?

With helmsmasher, he’d have a 50% chance to ignore 100% defense, and a 50% chance to ignore 25% defense. You can’t ignore more than 100% defense, so if the ignore 100% defense doesn’t proc, the helmsmasher mastery ignore 25% defense might.
I see you’ve listed damage multiplier stats for Errol’s attacks but not other champs. Why is this?

Errol’s A2 says “Each hit has a 50% chance to ignore DEF”. That is not a chance to ignore 50% of DEF. Please double check it. thanks for all the great work you do on here!!!!

“Each hit will has a 50% chance to ignore defense” is the last line of his A2. It’s not guaranteed.
Having said that, with Helmsmasher mastery, would that become 100% chance, or 2 rolls of 50%? I have questions I’d love to have tested lol
Accuracy is needed to steal buffs on his A3.
What is Accuracy good for? For A2?

@valon: I highly recommend getting a Critical Rate gloves to achieve 100% Critical Rate, so Errol can consistently inflict Critical Hit on enemies. If Errol’s overall equipment substats provide sufficient Critical Rate stats, then its best to swap with a Critical Damage gloves.
why would he need critical rate gauntlets when he gets 50% cr from his skills masteries and base?
