Wanderer Storyline
The Wanderer is one of the most infamous of all Dark Elven warriors. A silent fighter of awesome ability, skill, and cunning, before his fall from grace he had once served as Queen Eva’s personal bodyguard and – if the rumors are to be believed – personal assassin. Those days have long since passed, and his story is now one of exile. Charged with the Queen’s safekeeping during the height of the wars with Kaerok, he abandoned his place at her side to seek out a legendary blade in the lands beyond the Dark Ravine. Said to cut even the strongest of tempered steel, it rests now at his side – but the price was dear. The lands of Aravia and the road back to Darkwoord Forest are closed to him for his betrayal. With a price upon his head, his kin will not risk the Queen’s wrath to give him welcome. And so, he wanders Teleria endlessly, friend to none, a dark servant without a master…
What blessings are recommended for Wanderer? I’m lost.
I just discovered that I am now the clan leader of my clan. Is there guide?
You know he will need Crit Rate, you know he will need accuracy for turn meter and with his A3 I would expect you might go Helmsmasher on him
@Ray Brown, @ Shawn, these are just my persoanl thoughts as I have not done much with him there are a few copies of him in my vault. I would suggest cruel to Capitalize on his A3
He’s been ranked a perfect 5 for Hydra so if you could give some gear options, I would be grateful! Please and thanks!
There is nothing on the Wanderer about what armor to use.
how about artifacts and masteries please and ty
Eldenring, not sure how you would have him in Relentless and Savage Gear as they both are 4 piece sets. Did you mean relentless and cruel sets?
Most underrated champion
He hits like a truck, one of the best single target hitter
Insane multiplier on his A3 that ignores 25% of the target’s defense
Put him in relentless gear + savage and he’ll decimate every tanks
He is still in many of my late game comp among all my legos
Spinflight, what did you put him in?
USABILITY: N/A
“Dis chimkin has a cool sword!”
I use him in Spider for his aura…
My thinking here is that HP and speed are worthless, as the damage is done % wise and more speed just means more spiderlings. Defence aura helps a bit versus the raw damage but not versus the poison. Course would prefer a resist aura but I don’t have one for dungeons. 21% extra attack though increases the amount of healing other toons get from their lifesteal, also 15% weaken gives them an extra 5% from lifesteal.
I like him, hence have taken him to 50, though he is truly infuriating. One minute hitting for loads, the next for hardly anything. The AI doesn’t help as tends to use his A2 and A3 for finishing off enemies with hardly any HP. Also after many moons of trying I’m going to take lifesteal gear off him as his A1 doesn’t hit for consistently enough to heal him ( I’m wondering whether he scales off something else as the A1 multiplier seems more akin to a 2 hit).
A2 is an excellent speed boost as it increases his turn meter even if it doesn’t proc. Hits very hard.
His A3 too, hits for anywhere between 4k and 20k… Wasted on monsties without much def but cannot work out why he is so inconsistent. Can’t think of another champion whose attack values vary by anywhere near as much.
Pair him with Quargan’s perfect Veil though and he puts some serious numbers up.
@Earl — The reason why Raid Codex had him at 5 for Spider according to you was likely a data entry error. I just checked and it’s 1* now, which makes a lot more sense considering his kit; that TM decrease is too small to make any difference — nobody would use him when they can have a fully booked Armiger instead, and everybody can build that.
I won’t feed mine simply because he’s part of the permanent Rhazin fusion and I’m just missing one champ to get going on that. I find it interesting to build those “food” characters to a decent level and ascension; it shows their “character” pretty well, and I don’t always agree with others about their usefulness.
@Earl: It’s not necessary to have them the same as each player have their own rating for a particular champion.
The Raid Codex rates this guy as 5 stars for Spiders Den. Why is there such a mismatch to the rating here?
His A2 hits pretty hard.
Pretty much a food dude! 😀
