Shizukuishi,
Check this out……
Not sure if this helps…. But when your Luria went it could of be the ninth turn and he could of placed a new Block Damage…. Food for thought…. Here is Odin’s passive…….
Odin’s Wisdom (Passive)
Every 9 turns, places a [Block Damage] buff on this Champion for 1 turn and also applies a [Buff Spread] effect, taking all buffs from this Champion and placing them on all allies.
Note: The 9 turns include the turn taken by this champion, his allies, and enemies. Hence, if you are fighting against enemies who has high speed stats, the faster this passive skill will be able to active this ability!
Her Hex skill reads “Attacks 1 enemy. Removes all buffs. Also has an 80% chance of placing a [Block Buffs] debuff for 2 turns.” and yet in the new event dungeon, and without any books, she placed [Block Buffs] on Odin, but did not remove [Block Damage] cast via Odin’s Wisdom.
If remove all buffs is 100%, why was this buff not removed? There is nothing indicating that they buff cannot be removed.
This lady is the reason you might have trouble with Spirit Keep. She blocks revive and is in the waves. I know she annoys me.
Thanks!
@144willie: I have added blessings recommendation for Luria in the overview section!
Any Blessings recommendations? Phantom touch, heavencast, cruelty?
DmanDoom, like the post. Very informative explanation of mechanics for newer players, and even some more experienced ones, too!
@Ophelium & Beardo
Her A1 initially Cursed Sword, L1 (not ascended), A 50% chance placing either (1 of 3), 30% Decrease Def debuff, 50% Heal Reduction Debuff, or decrease Speed Debuff.
THIS IS NOT ASCENDED!
It’s one of those 3! First off, I’m going to assume the chance roll, rolls the dice individually, sense their are 3 options, and 50% is a half! So If the roll option hits Decrease Def first, your not getting the heal reduction or the Speed debuff on target. But if not, than another 50/50 roll for Heal reduction. If Yes, than no to Speed. But if no, than Speed will get the 50/50 roll, which still has a chance to say yes or no, meaning their is a chance, each roll could be NO, and that strike gets nothing! Probably a 1 in 100 chance of happening, but possible. And this is not counting any upgrades of leveling up the skill, which increases those roll chances, and or the damage dealt by the attack. The second part of mechanic to note, only ONE will apply, meaning the first yes as I clarified, stops the others. This is hinted at by the word OR in the description, which is capitalized, I’m assuming to stand out! It’s 1 or the others. OR is seclusive by nature, it secludes one option from others.
NOW. The 100% Heal reduction comes from the Ascended skill, gained when you ascend the Champion (Pink Stars) to A3; is when it unlocks the Ascended skill, which improves those numbers. Still 50% chance of each debuff, but each is more sever; 60% Decrease Def, 100% Heal Reduction, or 30% decrease of speed! Again, it’ll be either OR!
I just got her recently, after winning first place in the Tournament for Ice Golem for the group I’m in! Among 2 Rare Shards, and artifacts, etc. one of those Shards gave me Luria! I’m excited to build her up! I already have UDK maxed at R5, these two will run great together! I saw these comments, and thought I’d share my insight! I’m very attentive to detail!
would you build her with reflex?
would it worth building her to replace kael for fw
i will test at the next rotation, but for me a team with Luria and Pain keeper is a good way to destroy Bommal !!!!

They nerferd her A1 by half for all debuffs.
@Ophelium
Luria’s A1 has 100% Heal Reduction; but it is a 50% (75% when booked) chance to place one of 3 debuffs, one of which is the 100% HR.
you also might need to ascend her to 3 stars for that.
Ayumilove… Luria is placed as an epic into a target block revive… Her A2 is an AoE attack with block revive, so I think she should be placed in AoE block revive
I pulled Luria yesterday and was excited to use her A1 with 100% Heal Reduction. But, her skill only has a 50% reduction. 🙁
Which is better for arena offense. Luria or Deathless?
Thanks
@Ayumilove She is super good especially in faction wars, but making her freeze 100% is borderline broken. Stun and freeze should never be 100% chance cause they will have no counterplay. Especially now that Kuzard can increase ACC you can’t even build resistance team against such debuffs. She helped me a lot in mid game dungeons specifically in Ice Golem and Spider before I get better champions, but I gotta give it to her she stayed in my team all the way to FW 21.
@RickFun: Hell Hades video on Luria does not properly showcase Luria properly without the masteries and right gears in the first half of the video. No Critical Rate and Critical Damage diminishes her full potential as a damage dealer. I have been using Luria for a quite awhile especially for Faction Wars 20 on auto. I do agree that she is underrated since her skills is so RNG. If Plarium would made it more consistent like 100% Freeze once fully booked, then she will be much more better.
@Jplink: I also encounter the same issue but there is a way to solve them. Luria is pretty squishy due to low base HP and Defense. I have her at Level 60 with 28K HP and 2K Defense. Obviously she would not be able to handle high level dungeons and Faction Wars with these stats. However, if you build her in a speed team that focuses on crowd control skills, then she can survive them easily. I have her fully booked out so she can land her Freeze debuff much more consistently to the enemies, have her speed stats above 200, so she can go 2 turns of enemies’ 1 turn, and high Accuracy to prevent enemies from resisting her debuffs. If the enemies can’t take their turn, you can unleash hell on them with Luria’s heavy damage 🙂

Really want to like this Champ more. A2 Freeze booked at 75% with if killing blow will Block Revive. Like Jplink comment below, find Luria both dies fast and doesnt hit hard enough to count on the Block Revive to proc. Even in the video I linked, shows this champ underperforming its potential.
Shame because in theory would have been a great A2 if the champ could survive long enough and do enough damage for more killing blows.
My Luria is level 50 and she is useless in all possible avenues. She dies to everything. On dungeons she never makes it to the boss. In arena she gets melted. In clan boss she gets obliterated. In campaign she gets focused immediately and dies. I’ve tried her with defense gear, speed gear, and damage/accuracy and nothing works. I’ve sunk way too much time and effort into this worthless champion who dies from a mosquito bite.
jungeMann: Her usefulness is in clearing waves, specifically with her A2 – with decent accuracy, you can count on 50% of more of the enemies being frozen for the critical first round, which is where your group will typically struggle to keep everyone alive. This allows you to focus bringing dps instead of survivability.
Im trying to make it to dragon 13 right now. Reading that she is supposed to be good i 5star her and gave her good gear. But I dont understand her usefullness tthere. Is she just a good dps?
@Ryan: Because she’s spirit affinity, therefore has a 35% chance to have a weak hit against magic affinity enemies, which will cause the ability to fail and you won’t remove the buff or place [Block Buffs]. She’ll also take 30% more damage.
I think Luria would be better with Flawless Execution. You’re not going to use her on Drag20 or FK20. Highly doubt you’ll use her on Spider20 either. IG20, Arena, and Faction Crypts. That’s where she’s useful after mid-game.
So you basically want the stats you want with any standard DD that has good debuffs. You want to gear her exactly like you would a Zargala. You could arguably go Eagle Eye over FE depending on what your gear is like. That would allow you to get Kill Streak instead of Blood Shield and look for more gear with triple rolls in CD.
Hello, I am trying to understand if Luria is good for Spiders Den on AOE Burn Strategy, her A2 has aoe freeze which I assume would help but would it hold the spiderlings long enough?
Why is Luria only 3 stars on magic keep? I feel like her A3 would be perfect to remove the buffs and block further shield buffs
@Faragau Sebastian: Champions that is able to hit 2 or more time (e.g. Athel, Elhain), “Heart of Glory” will be recommended for them since the first hit they deal to enemies recover their health to full, and the 2nd hit will be able to deal additional damage with “Heart of Glory” when they are equip with Lifesteal Set (Converts 30% of the damage inflicted as instant healing). If you have a Healer who can perform instant heal on them OR healer that can apply Continuous Heal buff (e.g. 15%) which can recover their health at 100% before Luria takes her turn, then you will need to pair that Champion with Luria, so she can take advantage of “Heart of Glory”. Otherwise, this skill is not be activated at all when Luria’s health is not at 100%. Elhain can do to hits if the first hit lands as a Critical. Usually seasoned players will max out the Critical Rate stats to 100% to maximize the number of hits that Elhain can performed in battle.
Hello, can you explain to me why Shield Breaker and not Heart of Glory for Luria? i just want to understand the mecanism, thanks. PS Elhain guide suggests Heart of Glory instead of Shield Breaker for her and I wonder why it is different for Luria compared to Elhain, given they’re both attack chapions. Thanks so much!
