@Spinflight thanks for taking the time to make the case for Avenger. I am f2p 250days on my main and beat DT normal. Also really struggling to stay in Gold 2 arena… now I am endlessly stuck farming food and doing dailies to get some good epics and a couple of lucky legos up to scratch. So I am missing having a bit of fun with the early mid game content which is a lot more forgiving. Every one has a duchess and a madame in gold 3 so I get recked.
So I have made an alt around 3 weeks ago for good uncommon and rares: you have just convinced me to build Avenger just as you said for her killer A3. Happy Raiding to you, good sir!

I disagree that she is useless… Indeed I have 2 of them, one at lv50, though as I only have 7 lv50s that shows how much I rate her.

She has two key uses, primarily in the Arena and for taking out the companions of the faction war bosses. The key to this is fatal blow plus her high speed, though the fact that she has a particularly epic cleavage doesn’t hurt. So too that you will receive dups of her whilst you are farming the eq for her anyway.

Build intially is all speed gear with crit damage gloves and attack% boots and breastplate. With 4 and 5*kit at lv10-12 she can alphastrike for 20k. Which isn’t much late game but she can do it pretty darn early and is often enough to one shot kill.

I have a second at lv40 in speed boots, purely for times when I’m up against a particularly fast High Katun or similar. Big loss of Alpha though.

The idea is mainly for the arena where she can nip in and one shot a member of the opposition. She has a speed advantge over toons like High Katun and Kael… And most of the speed nuke teams use their farming Kaels so 98% of the time they are squishy in lifesteal gear.

You use her to break the High Katun / Sorceress / Warmaiden / Kael or Elhain chain, which let’s face it is half of the teams in low level Arena.

Once you get up to lv 10-12 of Faction Wars, save the A3 for one shotting the annoying boss companions, you can put her in speed parry kit, which was almost designed for her. I’m just at that stage now, though only have one set and haven’t got an atk% piece yet..

Her A1 only tickles, A2 can do decent damage when it crits but it’s all about her A3.

Basically she scales. Booking up her A3 and increasing her attack% pays x10 with her multipliers and guaranteed crit… Upgrading her speed kit is always going to be useful for other toons you level and you can eventually put her in Crit Damage set too so there is always an upgrade path.

Wonder if anyone have tried this champion out with stacked CDmg

  4. Dominis

I wouldn’t classify her as fodder. A 50% chance for a 30% decrease defense on her a1 is nice. There aren’t many rare champs with a useful a1. I’m considering substituting her for warmaiden because there is no cd period on her decrease defense. Tossing in athel and her weakness + temptress and her leech is something I want to experiment with.

@Robert: I would not recommend using her at all except as a fodder champion unless you would want to use her early-game as a Faction Champion placeholder.

Is she early or mid game? What is her rank in faction wars?

  7. ReworkAvengerPLS

yes but like crit damage set is one of the best end game sets you can farm from FireKnight which is really not that easy and not even worth to farm it in the early-game, and this champion can bring nothing to the table, not even early game while she has 5turns WHCIH IS CRAZY on A3 its just too high and gets zero -cooldown even when booked, because it, ofc, would be constantly easy to book her as a farmable champion, just farming her duplicates, so thats why shes bad.
She can do the lower version of [Decrease Def] while another farmable champ, named Warmaiden can do the Strong version of it, beeing another farmable rare.
Overall Avenger is so useless i would rather use Uncommons, if i would have to.

Why wouldn’t you put someone with Fatal Blow in a Crit Damage set? It seems she is made to me a one attack nuker who is here just for the guaranteed critical hit. Wouldn’t Crit Damage give her a higher total damage than offensive gear?

  9. midu

I wonder why she is bad, her kit seem to be really strong in arena offense side. She can dish out alot of damage to single target.
