Ice Golem Champion Roles

Tomb Lord

  • Tomb Lord excels as a support champion, particularly in solo dungeon raids such as Ice Golem. His prowess lies in swiftly handling enemy hordes with his AoE Poison debuff, gradually wearing down their health by 3% of their maximum HP per tick. Although he lacks in self-sustainability, he compensates by significantly reducing enemy damage output through his AoE Decrease Attack ability, which aids his survival against initial assaults. Moreover, his ability to hinder enemies with a Decrease Speed debuff provides him with valuable time to recover.
  • To enhance his survivability in solo raids, equipping Tomb Lord with Regeneration and Immortal Sets allows him to heal each turn. Prioritizing Health, Defense, Speed, Critical Stat, Accuracy, and Resistance stats is crucial for optimizing his performance. Adequate Accuracy ensures consistent debuff application, while Resistance shields him against enemy-inflicted debuffs like Heal Reduction and Decrease Defense. Additionally, a high Critical Stat is essential for him as it enables him to apply an additional stack of Poison debuff through his Death Burst ability, intensifying his damage output and hastening enemy defeat.
  • However, Tomb Lord’s need to prioritize at least six stats can weaken his tankiness. Thus, it’s advisable for him to learn the Emergency Heal blessing and equip the Bloodshield accessory set. This combination allows him to protect himself with a Shield buff generated from each attack he deals and heal himself each time his shield is broken by the enemy.
  • Once accuracy and resistance thresholds are met, investing in Health and Defense further bolsters Tomb Lord against enemy assaults. Focusing on engaging primarily with Force affinity enemies reduces the risk of critical hits by 15% and increase the chance of receiving Weak hits instead of normal hits from enemies, a crucial aspect for his survival.
  • To expedite the run, it’s recommended to exclusively employ Tomb Lord’s Blight ability as the opening move and refrain from using it again in the team preset. This strategy is grounded in the fact that Blight reduces enemies’ turn meter to zero if their HP is below 50%, rendering them unable to take their turn and consequently preventing the Poison debuff from dealing damage. Initiating with Blight enables Tomb Lord to mitigate damage from enemy initial nuke attacks and gradually apply the Decrease Speed debuff, allowing him to buy time to afflict them with the deadly effects of poison over time.
  • Important Details: Ice Golem Boss on Normal difficulty Stage 23 has 200 Accuracy and 200 Resistance. This means your Tomb Lord needs at least 225 Accuracy stats to overcome the boss Resistance to inflict his debuffs, and 300 Resistance stats to overcome the boss’s Accuracy stats. In addition, you need to have speed above 180 to go twice of the boss turn (90 speed) to cycle through your skill cooldown quickly! 100% Critical Rate is a must for Tomb Lord to ensure his ability is able to apply additional stack of Poison debuff if you are using him on Spirit affinity (neutral) or at least 85% Critical Rate when against Force affinity enemies. Once you hit these threshold, then the remaining stats are distributed to Health and Defense stats to improve his survivability.
