Skill Updates

Lord Champfort

  • Annihilation Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 45% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. Damage scales from this Champion’s HP.
  • Earthshaker Damage scales from this Champion’s HP
  • Thornsphere [Shield] value doubled. Places a 15% [Decrease SPD] on enemies that attack this Champion.

Ma’Shalled

  • Bloodsucker Attacks 1 enemy. Attacks all enemies under the [Leech] debuff. Heals this Champion by 30% of the damage inflicted.
  • Tornado Places a 30% [Increase SPD] buff and a 30% [Increase C. DMG] buff on this Champion and all allies for 2 turns. Places a [True Fear] and [Leech] debuffs on all enemies for 2 turns. Grants this Champion an Extra Turn.
  • Open Wounds Has an 80% chance to steal all buffs from a target enemy, then attacks the target. Places a 100% [Heal Reduction] debuff for 2 turns. Places two 15% [Continuous Heal] buffs on this Champion for 3 turns. Inflicts 50% more damage against targets under buffs.

Warchief

  • Brutal Force [Provoke] chance increased to 25% (up from 15%)
  • Marauder Cooldown reduced to 4 Turns. Ascended: Steals 2 buffs with a 100% chance, up from 75%.
  • Standstill DEF increases by 15% for each dead ally, up from 10%.

Mortu-Macaab

  • Falling from Grace Each hit has a 90% chance of placing a [Block Buffs] debuff for 2 turns. If the target is under a [Heal Reduction] debuff, [Block Buffs] cannot be resisted.
  • Fiery Rage Chance to unlock a secret skill increased to 20%, up from 10%.

Richtoff the Bold

  • Ruination Decreases each target’s MAX HP by 30% of the damage dealt, up from 10%.
  • Bloodletting Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Each hit places a 5% [Poison] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns.
  • Cursehold Attacks 1 enemy. Deals an additional 20% Critical Damage for each [Poison] debuff on the target enemy (up to +100% C. DMG)

Duchess Lilitu

  • Ethereal Ways No longer decreases allies from AoE attacks for allies under a [Veil] buff. Reason: the buff now has a natural AoE damage reduction.

Vergis

  • Aegis In addition to the original effects now places a 50% [Ally Protection] on all allies except for this Champion and a 60% [Increase DEF] on this Champion.
  • Second Wind In addition to the original effect, now places a [Shield] buff on this Champion equal to 10% of the Champion’s MAX HP for 2 turns when this Champion loses 10% HP.

Oathbound

  • Subjugate Attacks all enemies. Has a 55% chance of decreasing the Turn Meter by 20%. Has a 75% chance of placing a 25% [Decrease ATK] for 2 turns. Ascended: Has a 75% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] for 2 turns. Damage significantly increased.
  • Intimidate Attacks at random 4 times. Each attack has a 30% chance of placing a [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff for 2 turns. Damage inflicted is proportional to DEF. If the target is under a [Decrease ATK] debuff, the chance of placing [Block Cooldown Skills] increases to 100%.
  • Base SPD Increased to 95, up from 88

Occult Brawler

  • Ruination Ritual This Skill no longer has a cooldown.

Leech, Veil and Perfect Veil Buff Skill Changes

Each of these effects is getting a little buff in Update 1.14! Leech will heal the attacker by 18% as opposed to the current 10%. Champions under Veil and Perfect Veil will get a 7,5% and 15% (respectively) damage reduction from all incoming AoE attacks. These changes are going to have a profound impact on other aspects of the game. For example, Champions like Ma’Shalled (who also got buffed on top of everything else, as you can see!) will become even more valuable and powerful thanks to the healing output of [Leech] almost doubling. At the same time, Duchess Lilitu had undergone some changes to ensure the passive AoE damage reduction does not get out of hand, but thanks to [Veil] and [Perfect Veil] changes she will still remain a viable Champion.

Fear Debuff Skill Changes

We took some time to monitor Fear debuffs in game and will apply certain limitations in Update 1.14. Like other crowd control debuffs, it will no longer be subject to Increase Debuff Duration or Spread Debuffs effects. This applies to the Master Hexer and Sniper Masteries as well, they will no longer increase the chances of applying Fear or True Fear debuffs. The following Masteries will now affect or include Fear or True Fear: Opportunist, Mighty Endurance, Wisdom of Battle, Harvest Despair, Deterrence, Fearsome Presence, Merciful Aid.

Artifact Filter

We are adding a new system of filters to the Inventory which will allow you to find specific Artifacts you need much faster. As you can see, Artifacts can be sorted by Type or by Stats – whether Primary Stats or Substats – or even a combination of filters. This will be particularly useful to veteran players, who have hundreds upon hundreds of various Artifacts lying around in the Storage.

Champion Collection Capacity Increase

Good news, everyone! The innkeeper’s been buried in letters to expand due to the influx of new Champions for a while now, and he’s finally working on building a whole new wing of the Tavern. We expect it to be completed by the time Update 1.14 goes live and to double the number of Champions that can stick outside the Champion Vault! That is, 200 Champions once all the slots have been unlocked.

Clan Boss Counter

To ensure you guys have an easier way of tracking the damage your teams deal to the Clan Boss and planning your next move, we are going to add a counter to the Clan Boss Battle. It will display the number of Turns that the Demon Lord has taken and the damage that your team dealt.

Miscellaneous

Fusion menu will display Champions who are required for a specific Fusion but are locked away in the Champion Vault, making it easier to see whether or not you have the required components.

Faction Wars

The improvements to Faction Wars are twofold and will touch upon the difficulty of certain Crypt Stages and the drop rates of various Glyphs. Even with the recent changes, we are always monitoring your feedback closely and comparing it with game metrics available to the Dev Team. With that in mind, we’ve decided to make all Faction Crypts a bit easier to complete starting from Stage 8. In addition, we are lowering the drop rates of Rank 2 Glyphs from Stages 10-12 and will completely remove them from Stages 13-14. Glyphs of Ranks 3 and 4 will get increased drop rates.

Arena Platinum Tier (Minor)

Starting from Update 1.14, we are going to introduce a small change to how battles in Platinum Tier work. After fighting the same opponent 10 times in a day (24 hours) – both victories and defeats count – every subsequent battle with that opponent will trigger a 15 minute cooldown that will not disappear after the Arena List is refreshed. What this means is that you will not be able to fight the same opponent until the cooldown runs out, though you will be able to fight others on your list. We’ve included this change to somewhat limit the ‘farming’ of weaker opponents for Arena Points.

Clan Boss (Revive changes)

This is really a continuation of the changes we introduced in 1.13. Starting from turn 50, the Demon Lord will apply a Block Revive debuff to all Champions he kills. This is done to even the playing field between various teams and ensure there is no single “must have” team composition that is required for this challenge.

The Daily Login Rewards program is going to be expanded for all players and will encompass 180 days as of now (up from 90 days). In addition to a variety of valuable rewards of all kinds such as Skill Tomes, Shards, Silver, it will include three awesome new Champions:

Scyl of the Drakes

  • Drake’s Swiftness [DEF] Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 40% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns. Also has a 50% chance of decreasing the target’s Turn Meter by 15%.
  • Wingbeat Flurry [DEF] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks all enemies 2 times. Each hit has a 35% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff for 1 turn.
  • Phoenix Rite (Cooldown: 4 turns) Revives an ally with 50% HP and places a 50% [Ally Protection] buff on them for 2 turns.
  • Boundless Life [Passive] Heals all allies by 10% of their MAX HP at the start of each turn. Also places a 30% [Increase SPD] buff on a random ally for 2 turns.

Lordly Legionary

  • Press the Fight [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Places an extra hit if the target is under a 50% [Heal Reduction] debuff. Places 2 extra hits if the target is under a 100% [Heal Reduction] debuff.
  • Outflank [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 100% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns. Decreases the target’s Turn Meter by 20% if the [Decrease SPD] debuff is placed.
  • Legion’s Orders (Cooldown: 4 turns) Places a 30% [Reflect Damage] buff and a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on all allies for 2 turns

Dark Elhain

  • Necrotic [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy. Decreases the target’s MAX HP by 30% of the damage inflicted.
  • Death’s Majesty [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on this Champion for 2 turns, then attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Lethal Winter [Passive] (Cooldown: 1 turn) Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 25% and instantly activates the Death’s Majesty Skill whenever this Champion or an ally receives a [Freeze] debuff.
  • Veins of Ice [Passive] (Cooldown: 1 turn) Instantly removes any [Freeze] debuffs on this Champion and replaces them with a 30% [Increase C.RATE] buff, a 30% [Increase C.DMG] buff, and a 15% [Strengthen] buff whenever an enemy places a [Freeze] debuff on this Champion.

Cillian the Lucky

  • Trip Up [ATK]: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has a 50% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns. Each hit also has a 35% chance of stealing 30% of the target’s current Turn Meter.
  • Inflict Misfortune [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Has an 100% chance of placing a [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff for 4 turns. Also has a 35% chance of placing a [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff on all other enemies for 1 turn.
  • Head Ringer [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 100% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff for 1 turn. Has a 40% chance of placing the [Stun] debuff for 2 turns instead and stealing 50% of the target’s current Turn Meter. Resets the cooldown of this Skill if the target is killed.
  • Charmed Life [Passive] Places one of the following buffs on this Champion for 2 turns at the start of each turn: a 50% [Increase ATK] buff, a 30% [Increase C.DMG] buff, a 30% [Increase C.RATE] buff, a 25% [Strengthen] buff, or a [Block Damage] buff.
  • Aura Increases Ally ATK in all Battles by 25%.

Skill Update

Frozen Banshee

  • Frost Blight: Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 10% chance of placing a 25% [Poison Sensitivity] debuff for 2 turns. The chance increases by 10% for each debuff on the target. → Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 25% [Poison Sensitivity] debuff for 2 turns.

Platinum Tier Rewards

Available starting 16.03.2020. As of Update 1.13.5, Platinum Tier Rewards are going to be separated into 3 different sub-tiers to better reward competitive Arena players. These ‘sub-tiers’ will be based on the player’s place in the final rating: Ultra Platinum Chest. 1st – 3rd Places / Super Platinum Chest. 4th – 20th Places / Platinum sub-tier Chest. 21st – 300th Places. Four new Player Profile avatars will be available in Ultra and Super Platinum Chests, worthy of both the stalwart servants of Lumaya and the brutal minions of Siroth. And to further denote success in the Platinum Tier, players who take first place will receive a Badge of Honor that will be displayed on their profile and show how many times they managed to battle to the very top of the Arena.

Furthermore, Platinum Tier Chests will contain brand new Artifact Sets:
Swift Parry Set (4) : SPD +18%. C. DMG +30%. 50% chance to get Unkillable for 1 turn when hit with a fatal hit.
Deflection Set (4) : HP +20%. DEF +20%. 25% chance to deflect 1 debuff onto the attacker when a debuff is placed on the wearer.

Affinity Dungeons and Potions

To make Ascending Champions easier and ensure running Affinity Keeps is worth it, we have significantly increased the number of Lesser Potions that players obtain in a single Leser Potions drop. This change takes effect in the later stages of Affinity Keeps (starting from Stage 12). For example, you could obtain between 3 and 7 Lesser Potions from Stage 15 of the Affinity Keep; as of this update, you will never get fewer than 7 Lesser Potions on Stage 15.

Miscellaneous and Bugfix

  • Speed hack fixed
  • AI fix for Septimus
  • Yannica’s 3rd Skill, Elven Judgement, has been fixed and now can score Critical Hits as normal
  • Yannica, Angar, Sethallia, and Shamrock will have their ratings reset due to the significant balance changes that we’ve made in the previous Update
  • A bug affecting Block Revive Skills fixed. The following Champions apply Block Revive with the Warmaster of Giant Slayer damage properly now: Armiger, Bloodgorged, Conquerer, Inithwe Bloodtwin, Occult Brawler, Maeve, Excruciator, Painsmith, Beast Wrestler, Rotos the Lost Groom.

Khoronar

  • Flourish of Slaughter [HP] Attacks all enemies. Has a 50% chance of decreasing each target’s Turn Meter by 10%. Attacks all enemies 2 times instead of 1 and the chance of decreasing each target’s Turn Meter increases to 100% if Minaya is on the same team. The damage of each hit will be decreased by 50%.
  • Beastly Bellow (Cooldown: 3 turns) Has a 100% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Places a [Block Debuffs] buff and a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on this Champion for 2 turns. Removes all debuffs from this Champion before placing the [Block Debuffs] and [Increase DEF] buffs if Minaya is on the team.
  • Battle Waltz [HP] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks all enemies. Places a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns. Places a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff on targets under [Decrease ATK] debuffs.
  • Ferocious Guard [Passive] Counterattacks when hit by enemies under [Decrease ATK], [Decrease DEF], or [Decrease SPD] debuffs. Always counterattacks when hit if Minaya is on the same team.
  • Spectacle [Passive] Places a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 2 turns if this Champion kills an enemy.

Minaya

  • Graceful Guide [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on the ally with the lowest HP for 2 turns.
  • Mending Ways [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Heals this Champion and the ally with the lowest HP by 10,000 HP. Has a 100% chance of placing a 100% [Heal Reduction] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns.
  • Beauty’s Allure (Cooldown: 4 turns) Heals all allies by 48% (40+8)% of their MAX HP. Places a [Block Debuffs] buff for 2 turns on Champions under [Increase DEF] buffs. If a Champion is fully healed by this Skill, also places a [Shield] buff on them for 2 turns equal to 25% of the Champion’s HP.
  • Lover’s Sacrifice [Passive] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 20% when this Champion is killed. Revives this Champion with 75% HP when killed if Khoronar is on the same team.

Rotos the Lost Groom

  • Terror Scourge [ATK][HP] Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 75% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. Also has a 30% chance of granting an Extra Turn.
  • Vitality Plunder [ATK][HP] (Cooldown: 2 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Decreases the target’s MAX HP by 20%, then adds that HP to this Champion’s own MAX HP. [Cannot decrease a single Champion’s MAX HP by more than 60% in one Battle. Cannot increase this Champion’s MAX HP by more than 60,000. Does not decrease Boss’ MAX HP. This Champion’s MAX HP will be increased by 15,000 when this Skill is used against Bosses]
  • Fated Destruction [ATK][HP] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Will ignore 75% of the target’s DEF. Will also ignore [Unkillable] and [Block Damage] buffs. Grants an Extra Turn if this attack kills an enemy. Enemies killed by this skill cannot be revived.
  • Spurn Oblivion [Passive] Will decrease damage from a single enemy hit so that incoming damage will not exceed 50% of this Champion’s MAX HP from that hit. Can occur once per enemy attack. Grants an Extra Turn if this damage reduction occurs. [Does not work against Bosses] Decreases the damage taken from Bosses by 15%. Decreases the damage taken from Bosses by 30 if Siphi the Lost Bride is on the same team.

Siphi the Lost Bride

  • Curse of Longing [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy. Has an 100% chance of placing a [Sleep] debuff for 1 turn if the target’s Turn Meter is equal to or above 50%. This debuff cannot be resisted. Heals all allies by 5% of their MAX HP if the target’s Turn Meter is below 50%.
  • Whirlwind Romance (Cooldown: 3 turns) Fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 15% and places a [Block Debuffs] buff, a 60% [Increase DEF] buff, and a 30% [Increase SPD] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
  • Love Beyond Death (Cooldown: 4 turns) Revives a single ally with 55% HP and a full Turn Meter. Places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff and a 30% [Increase C. RATE] buff on that ally for 2 turns.
  • Eternal Bond [Passive] Heals each ally by 15% of their MAX HP at the start of their turn. Has a 50% chance of removing [Freeze] and [Fear] debuffs from each ally at the start of their turn. Removes all debuffs from Rotos the Lost Groom at the start of their turn if they are on the same team.

Sepulcher Sentinel

  • Sword of Withering [DEF] Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 60% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Sepulcher Shield (Cooldown: 4 turns) Places a 60% [Increase DEF] buff and a [Block Debuffs] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
  • Untouched By Death [Passive] (Cooldown: 1 turns) Has a 50% chance of completely blocking incoming damage when this Champion or their allies are attacked. Occurs once per turn.
  • Aura Increases Ally DEF in all Battles by 25%.

Sandlashed Survivor

  • Smell Weakness [DEF] Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Has a 50% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff on the target for 1 turn if this Champion has no debuffs. Heals by 15% of the damage inflicted if this Champion is under any debuff.
  • Endless Sands [DEF] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks all enemies. Decreases the duration of all enemy buffs by 1 turn. Increases the duration of all ally buffs by 1 turn.
  • Born Survivor [Passive] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Places a 50% [Ally Protection] buff on all allies for 2 turns when any ally’s HP drops below 50%. Also places a [Block Damage] buff on this Champion for 1 turn.
  • Aura Increases Ally DEF in all Battles by 25%.

Fang Cleric

  • Conduit Fangs [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 100% chance of transferring 1 random debuff from this Champion to the target.
  • Shadowy Blessings (Cooldown: 2 turns) Heals an ally by 24% (20+4)% of this Champion’s MAX HP. Also fills the target’s Turn Meter by 30% if they are fully healed by this Skill. Places a [Veil] buff on the target for 1 turn if they are not fully healed by this Skill.
  • Return to the Ranks (Cooldown: 4 turns) Revives a dead ally with 30% HP, then fills their Turn Meter by 30%. Also places an [Unkillable] buff on the target for 1 turn and a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff for 2 turns.
  • Aura Increases Ally SPD in all Battles by 15%.

Skytouched Shaman

  • Talon Knives [ATK] Attacks all enemies. Heals by 15% of the damage inflicted if this Champion has less than 50% HP. Boosts this Champion’s Turn Meter by 20% instead if this Champion has 50% HP or higher.
  • Immortal Skies (Cooldown: 4 turns) Removes all debuffs from all allies, then places a [Revive On Death] buff and a [Block Debuffs] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
  • Bloodstain Ritual [Passive] Damages this Champion by 10% of their MAX HP at the start of each turn. Heals all allies except this Champion equal to half of the lost HP. Places a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff on this Champion for 1 turn at the start of each turn. Also has a 50% chance of placing a [Fear] debuff on this Champion for 1 turn.
  • Aura Increases Ally HP in all Battles by 25%.

Corpulent Cadaver

  • Crushing Mass [HP] Attacks 1 enemy. Inflicts additional damage if this Champion is under a [Shield] buff. The damage is equal to 30% of the value of the [Shield].
  • Disgusting Display (Cooldown: 4 turns) Places a [Shield] buff on this Champion equal to 20% of their MAX HP for 3 turns. Grants an Extra Turn.
  • Baleful Tenacity [HP] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Has an 100% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Aura Increases Ally DEF in all Battles by 15%.

Soulbond Bowyer

  • Ancestral Guidance [ATK] Attacks all enemies. Has an additional 25% chance of inflicting a critical hit.
  • Infused Arrow [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Has an additional 25% chance of inflicting a critical hit. Will ignore 75% of the target’s DEF.
  • Soulbound Shot [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Has an additional 50% chance of inflicting a critical hit. Also has a 100% chance of fully depleting the target’s Turn Meter.
  • Aura Increases Ally C. RATE in all Battles by 12%.

Coffin Smasher

  • Mallet Crescendo [HP] Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Each hit has a 30% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Tombfire [HP] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 75% chance of placing a [HP Burn] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Gloom Mist [Passive] Decreases the damage enemies inflict with AoE attacks by 5%.

Myrmidon

  • Bone Splitter [DEF] Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 40% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn if the target has higher MAX HP than this Champion.
  • Disarm Sweep [DEF] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks all enemies. Has a 80% chance of placing a 25% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns.
  • In Their Midst (Cooldown: 4 turns) Places a 50% [Ally Protection] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Places a a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.
  • Aura Increases Ally DEF in Dungeons by 20%.

Cudgeler

  • The Harder They Fall [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Has an additional 30% chance of inflicting a critical hit if the target is under a [Decrease DEF] debuff.
  • Soften Them Up (Cooldown: 4 turns) Places a [Counterattack] and a 25% [Increase ATK] buff on this Champion for 2 turns. Grants an Extra Turn.
  • Furious Defense [Passive] Has a 50% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns when attacking targets with higher DEF than this Champion. Has a 50% chance of decreasing the damage taken by 20% when attacked by enemies with higher ATK than this Champion.

Hatchet Slinger

  • Axe Frenzy [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Has an 100% chance of ignoring 15% of the target’s DEF if this Champion has 50% HP or higher. Has a 30% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff for 1 turn if this Champion has less than 50% HP.
  • Dwarven Fortitude (Cooldown: 4 turns) Places an [Unkillable] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.
  • Hatchets For All [Passive] Has a 20% chance of counterattacking when hit. Has a 40% chance of counterattacking when hit with a critical hit.

Fleshmonger

  • Thorough Butchery [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy 3 times.
  • Fresh Meat (Cooldown: 3 turns) Places a 25% [Increase ATK] and a 15% [Increase C.RATE] buff on this Champion for 2 turns. Grants an Extra Turn.
  • Tornado Cleaver [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Aura Increases Ally ATK in Dungeons by 23%.

Greetings. Raiders! Once in a generation. the greatest summoners ot Telena must arise and test themselves against a series of daunting challenges set by the Arbiter. Those who emerge victorious from this crucible shall reap rewards beyond imagining. But even those whose power has not yet bloomed to its fulest potential will find that undertaking the Arbiter’s tests will not be without benefit. Read the full patch notes below to learn what Update 1.13 has in store for you:

Battle Pass

Battle Pass is a new feature that encompasses a variety of Daily and Weekly Challenges that all players of Level 5 and above will be able to access. Completing these challenges and gathering Battle Pass Points will allow you to increase your Battle Pass Level. That. in turn. earns rewards that include resources. Shards. Champions. and even unique avatars to distinguish your player profile. Keep in mind that Battle Pass Challenges and Rewards are only available when a Battle Pass Season is active. If you forget to collect your points and rewards manually. don’t worry – they will be applied to your account automatically (except XP Boosts. which will go to the Inbox for 100 days).

2 Types of Battle Pass:

  • Core: Available to all players automatically. With the Core Battle Pass. you can earn Battle Pass Points by taking part in Daily Chalenges – and you can win Core Battle Pass Rewards. You cannot get Rewards tor Weekly Challenges or claim Gold Battle Pass Rewards.
  • Gold: Needs to be purchased at the Shop. allows you to do everything the Core Pass does. but also allows you to complete Weekly Challenges and win the awesome Gold Battle Pass Rewards. On top of that it also gives you a special Seasoniong Raid Boost that gives you extra Silver and XP from all Battles.

2 Types of Challenges:

  • Dally Challenges are open to everybody. You get 4 new Challenges every day, which reset at 00:00 UTC and are replaced by new ones – regardless of whether you completed them or not.
  • Weekly Challenges give you the chance to earn even more Battle Pass Points and win even better Rewards. You’ll even get an extra Reward if you manage to complete all the Weekly Challenges. Weekly Challenges become available each week in the order set during the Battle Pass Season. You will still be able to complete Challenges from the previous weeks for as long as the Season is active. Remember – you can only collect Weekly Challenge Rewards if you have the Gold Pass! Check out the in—game guide for further intormationl

New Buffs & Debuffs

Champions introduced in Update 1.13 have several exciting new effects in their arsenal!

Debuffs

  • Poison Sensitlvity is a debuff that increases the damage taken from the Poison debuli by the recipient. Can increase the damage taken by 25% or 50%.
  • Decrease C.RATE is a debuff that decreases the Critical Rate of the recipient Can decrease C.Rate by 15% or 30%
  • Decrease C.DMG is a debuff that decreases the Critical Damage inflicted by the recipient. Can decrease the damage inflicted by 15% or 30%.

Buffs

  • Strengthen is a buff that decreases the damage inflicted on the recipient. Can decrease the damage taken by 15% or 25%.
  • Increase ACC is a buff that increases ACC of the recipient. Can increase ACC by 25% or 50%.
  • Increase C.DMG is a buff that increases the Critical Damage inflicted by the recipient. Can increase the damage inflicted by 15% or 30%.

Frozen Banshee

  • Death’s Caress [ATK]: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has an 100% chance pf placing a 5% [Poison] debuff for 2 turns if the target is under a [Poison Sensitivity] debuff.
  • Cruel Exultation [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns): Attacks 1 enemy. Fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 2% for each debuff on the target.
  • Frost Blight [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns): Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 10% chance of placing a 25% [Poison Sensitivity] debuff for 2 turns. The chance increases by 10% for each debuff on the target.

Gravechill Killer

  • Freezing Toxin [ATK]: Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a 5% [Poison] debuff for 1 turn.
  • Blood Chill [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns): Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 100% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. Has a 100% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff instead if the target is under a [Poison] debuff.
  • Icy Veins [ATK] [Passive] (Cooldown: 3 turns): Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit places a 2.5% [Poison] debuff for 2 turns. Places a 5% [Poison] debuff instead if the target is under a [Poison Sensitivity] debuff.

Ursine Ironhide

  • Confounding Crush [DEF]: Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of increasing the cooldown of one of the target’s Skills by 1 turn at random.
  • Beat Back [DEF] (Cooldown: 3 turns): Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has a 100% chance of decreasing the Turn Meter by 5%. Decreases the Turn Meter by 10% instead if target is under a [Decrease ATK] debuff.
  • Rampaging Swipe [DEF] (Cooldown: 4 turns): Attacks all enemies. Has a 100% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Ursine Brutality [Passive]: Each hit has a 100% chance of decreasing the target’s Turn Meter by 7.5%. Each hit also has a 50% chance of putting one of the target’s Skills on cooldown if the target is under a [Decrease C.RATE] debuff.

Ursine Icecrusher

  • Ravaging Paw [DEF]: Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 30% chance of placing a [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff for 1 turn.
  • Howling Gale [DEF] (Cooldown: 3 turns): Attacks all enemies. Has a 100% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease C.RATE] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Shroud of Winter [Passive]: Decreases the damage all allies receive from critical hits by 15%. Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 5% whenever an enemy lands a normal, strong, or weak hit.

Stag Knight

  • Spot Quarry [ATK]: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has a 50% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Huntmaster (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks all enemies. Has a 95% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff and a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Lead the Pack [Passive]: Places a 50% [Increase ACC] buff on an ally for 1 turn each time the ally has a debuff resisted by an enemy.

Wurlim Frostking

  • Winds of Winter [DEF]: Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff for 1 turn. Places a [Perfect Veil] buff on the ally with the lowest HP for 1 turn if the [Freeze] debuff is placed.
  • Frostbite Blast [DEF] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks all enemies. Has a 100% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease C.DMG] debuff for 2 turns. Places a 30% [Increase C.DMG] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
  • Icegrave Armor (Cooldown: 4 turns) Places a 25% [Strengthen] buff and a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
  • Aura Increases Ally DEF in the Arena by 30%.

Champion Rebalance

Angar

  • Exacerbate [HP] Damage scales from [ATK]→[HP].
  • Infuriate [HP] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Damage scales from [ATK]→[HP]. Attacks 2 times at random. Each hit places a [Provoke] debuff for 2 turns. Also places a 30% [Reflect Damage] buff on all allies for 2 turns. → Attacks all enemies. Places a [Provoke] debuff on them for 1 turn. Places a 30% [Reflect Damage] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Also places a [Counterattack] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.
  • Bravado [Passive] If an enemy with a [Provoke] debuff attacks, has a 50→40% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff on them for 1 turn. Each hit taken will reduce damage taken by 4→5% (up to 20→30% in one round).

Foli

  • Sealed Fate [ATK] (Cooldown: 7 turns) Attacks all enemies. Enemies under 2 or more debuffs that are killed by this attack cannot be revived. → Attacks all enemies, decreases their Turn Meters by 15%, then attacks the targeted enemy. Enemies killed by this Skill cannot be revived.
  • Base SPD Increased from 99→105

Sethallia

  • Lordly Embrace (Skill Reworked) Lordly Embrace (Cooldown: 4 turns) Heals a target ally by 75% of their MAX HP and places a [Block Debuffs] buff for 2 turns. Also places one of the following buffs on the target for 2 turns if there is any surplus heal: a 50% [Increase ATK] buff, a 60% [Increase DEF] buff, a 30% [Increase SPD] buff, or a [Revive 0n Death]. → Lordly Embrace (Cooldown: 2 turns) Removes all debuffs from a target ally, then places a [Block Debuffs] buff for 2 turns and heals that ally by 75% of their MAX HP. Heals all other allies by 20% of their MAX HP and fills their Turn Meters by 15% if the target is fully healed by this Skill.
  • Aggress (Skill reworked) Aggress [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks 3 times at random. Each hit places a 10% [Leech] debuff for 2 turns. → Aggress (Cooldown: 3 turns) Has a 100% chance of removing all buffs from all enemies, then decreases the Turn Meters of all enemies by 10% and fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 10%. Shamrock

  • Lucky Swap [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Has a 60% chance of removing 1 random buff from the target. → Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has a 60% chance of removing 1 random buff from the target. If a buff is removed, has a 35% of stealing that buff.
  • Lucky Charms (Skill reworked): Lucky Charms (Cooldown: 4 turns) Places a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Has a 50% chance of placing a 30% [Increase C.RATE] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Tormin the Cold

  • Blizzard Rage [DEF] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Level 2 and Level 3 Skill Upgrade: Buff/Debuff Chance +5→10%
  • Wintry Wind [Passive] (Cooldown: 8 turns) Now does not work with effects from Artifact Sets, Tum Meter filling effects from Masteries, healing, or those buffs or effects that take place at the start of a Round.

Yannica

  • Even the Odds (Skill Reworked) Attacks 1 enemy, then attacks another random enemy. Each hit has a 50% chance of placing a [Leech] debuff for 2 turns. → Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has a 50% chance of placing a [Leech] debuff for 2 turns. Attacks all enemies 2 times instead if this Champion is under a [Veil] buff.
  • Baffling Speed [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns): Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 75% chance of placing a [Perfect Veil] buff on this Champion for 2 turns if this attack is critical. → Attacks 1 enemy. Places a [Perfect Veil] buff on this Champion for 3 turns if this attack is critical. Grants an Extra Turn.
  • Elven Judgement [ATK] (Cooldown: 5 turns) Attacks all enemies. Decreases their MAX HP by 25% of the damage inflicted. Attacks all enemies. Will ignore [Shield] buffs. Removes [Shield] buffs from targets if this Champion is under a [Veil] buff or [Perfect Veil] buff, then deals extra damage equal to 15% of the value of the removed [Shield] buffs.
  • Aura Increases Spirit Ally Attack in all battles by 36% → Increases Ally Attack in all battles by 30%

Clan Boss Changes

As of Update 1.13, the Demon Lord will start ignoring Unkillable and Block Damage buffs from Turn 50 (CB’s Turn, that is). Our tests show that teams built around those buffs will still dish out enough damage to match any other composition and will be capable of earning enough points for a Transcendent Chest quickly. The reason for this is as follows – there are teams specifically tailored to be constantly kept under high-end defensive buffs such as Unkillable and Block Damage during the battle. This allowed them to outperform teams of every other composition by a huge margin – we are talking about three times the damage in the best case scenarios on both sides. While this has to change, we acknowledge the effort and time that goes into crafting a team of this calibre and performed thorough tests to ensure they remain on par with other top contenders. This change should eliminate the unintended disparity between various teams used in the Clan Boss battles and will still lead to excellent results. We will keep a close eye on how these teams perform post-1.13 and ensure that the changes have gone through without any unforeseen issues. Additionally, players who’ve already received their Rewards for beating the Demon Lord on the certain difficulty during one day, won’t be able to receive this Reward again on the same day in another Clan. This is done to stop the abuse of ‘Clan Hopping’.

Multi-Battle

Multi-battles have seen a significant buff in this Update! Now they will work as follows:
No Raid Card. 30 Multi-battle attempts.
Raid Card. 100 Multi-battle attempts. +20% XP, +20% Silver

Additionally, we are launching a special event in which Multi-battles will be usable in Dungeons for an entire month! This event will be available to all players, Multi-Battle attempts will be shared between Campaign and Dungeon Battles. The overall number will remain the same as described above: 30 for all players and 100 for Raid Card Holders.

Miscellaneous

  • Google Play and Game Center Accounts are now viable to be connected to Raid: Shadow Legends
  • A new alert pop-up has been added to the Tavern and Champion Fusion, warning players about sacrificing Champions who have Artifacts or Accessories equipped
  • A number of Passive Skills received visual animation
  • Artifact Upgrade animation increased by 50%
  • Added Champion rating for Faction Wars

  • Last Breath: Decreased cooldown (from 6 turns to 4).
  • Valorous [Passive]: Now places an [Unkillable] buff on this Champion for 1 turn if incoming damage exceeds 15% MAX HP in one attack (was 30% MAX HP).

Azure

  • Basic SPD increased from 87 to 97.

Basher

  • Splintering Bash: Increased debuff chance: Now has a 75% chance of placing a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns (was a 30% chance).
  • Stinging Blast: Is now guaranteed to increase the cooldown of all the target’s skills by 1 turn (was only if the target had a [Block Buffs] debuff).

Bushi

  • Added Aura: Now increases Ally SPD in the Arena by 20%.
  • Deadly Edge: Damage increased.
  • Unbending: Decreased cooldown (from 8 turns to 5).

Erinyes

  • Razor Claws: Increased debuff chance and duration: now has a 90% chance of placing a 2.5% [Poison] debuff (5% when Ascended) for 2 turns (was a 30% chance of placing the debuff for 1 turn).

Faceless

  • Ice Bolt: Decreased cooldown (from 5 turns to 3).

Galkut

  • Mangle Limbs: Now has a 25% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns (was a 50% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease DEF] debuff).
  • Boom Barrage: Now places a [Bomb] debuff that detonates after 2 turns (was a 75% chance of placing a [Bomb] that would detonate after 3 turns).

Hellgazer

Jinglehunter

  • Jacked Frost: Increased debuff chance: Now has a 90% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn if this attack kills the target (was 50%).

Kytis

Marksman

  • Venom Arrow: Increased debuff duration: Now places a 5% [Poison] debuff for 2 turns (was 1 turn).

Souldrinker

  • Raining Fire: Now decreases [Bomb] debuff detonation countdowns by 1 turn (was only if the target had a [Poison] debuff).
  • Magma Blast: Increased debuff chance: Now has a 75% chance of placing a [Bomb] debuff that detonates after 3 turns (was 50%).
  • Set Ablaze [Passive]: Increased debuff chance: Now has a 100% chance of placing two [Bomb] debuffs on each enemy that detonate after 2 turns when this Champion dies (was 80%).

Torturehelm

  • Bloodlust: Damage increased.
  • Unkillable [Passive]: Now revives this Champion with 50% HP when killed (was a 50% chance to revive).

Woad-Painted

  • Undying Fury: Now heals this Champion by 100% HP (was 30% HP).
  • Overpower: Damage is now proportional to this Champion’s MAX HP (was current HP).

Arena Platinum Tier

The time has come for Teleria’s mightiest warriors to meet in battle once more. This time, the bravest, most skilled fighters will prove their worth and join an elite Platinum Tier of the Arena, which will only have a limited number of slots! Let us explain how that works. The Platinum Tier has 300 positions – no more, no less – as of Update 1.12 (though that might change in the future, we are going to observe how players perform). Once Arena Points reset, the first player to go over 3200 Arena Points will earn their place in the Platinum Tier, then the second player, and so on until all 300 slots are filled. After that happens and the next player (let us call them Player A) goes over 3200 Arena Points, the game will compare their final score against that of the player currently holding the last position in the Platinum Tier (they will be Player B). If Player A’s overall score is lower than or equal to Player B’s, nothing happens and they remain in Gold IV. But, should it exceed Player B’s overall score, that player will be expelled back into Gold IV and Player A will take their place. When Arena Points reset, all players return to Gold IV with 2900 Arena Points as usual. Needless to say, Platinum Tier offers greater rewards, so the effort will be worth it!

New Campaign Difficulty

You heard that right! Nightmare Campaign Difficulty is now available to all players who have completed the Campaign on Brutal. It will challenge your Champions like never before, but the rewards that can be won are also greater! And we are not talking about experience and Silver alone. As with previous Difficulties, Nightmare Campaign comes with a brand new and untouched Campaign Stars pool, meaning that completing it for the first time will provide some awesome one-time rewards if you can earn enough Stars!

Faction Wars Rebalance

As always, we have kept a close eye on player feedback ever since Faction Wars were released. And one of the most frequently cited issues with this feature has been its high difficulty. As such, we went ahead and rebalanced some of the Stages to make them more manageable. Mind you, this is not going to turn into a walk in the park, but strong teams should have an easier time pushing further into their respective Crypts! In addition, we’ve removed Rank 1 Glyphs from Stage 10 and 11 rewards, ensuring you get Rank 2s at the very least starting from that point. We will keep an eye on how different players perform with these changes to make sure it is all working as intended. You are welcome and encouraged to provide feedback after you’ve had a go at Faction Wars once again!

Champion Balance

Soulless

  • Reign of Terror: Attacks all enemies. Increases the duration of all debuffs on the target by 1. Places a [Shield] buff on this Champion for 2 turns to 30% of damage dealt. The damage increase by 10% per each debuff on the target. → Attacks all enemies. Increases the duration of all debuffs on each target by 1 turn, then places a [Provoke] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Places a [Shield] buff on this Champion for 2 turns equal to 30% of damage inflicted. Damage increases by 10% for each debuff on the target.

War Mother

  • Cry Havoc: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has a 30% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns. → Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit places a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Special Brew: Attacks all enemies. Places two [Bomb] debuffs that detonate after 3 turns. → Attacks all enemies. Places two [Bomb] debuffs that detonate after 3 turns. Bomb damage increases by 100% against Bosses.

Sethallia

  • Put to Flame: Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 30% chance of placing a [HP Burn] debuff for 2 turns. → Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a [HP Burn] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Lordly Embrace: Heals a target ally by 75% of their MAX HP and places a [Block Debuffs] buff for 2 turns. → Heals a target ally by 75% of their MAX HP and places a [Block Debuffs] buff for 2 turns. Also places one of the following buffs on the target for 2 turns if there is any surplus heal: a 50% [Increase ATK] buff, a 60% [Increase DEF] buff, a 30% [Increase SPD] buff, or a [Revive 0n Death].

Bloodgorged

  • Break Defense: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Has a 30% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. → Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Has a 55% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Raging Beast: Attacks 3 times at random. Puts one of the target’s Skills on cooldown. → Attacks all enemies. Puts one of each target’s Skills on cooldown. Damage increased.

Bloodfeather

  • Hunt Down: Attacks 1 enemy. Has an extra 10% chance of inflicting a critical hit. → Attacks 1 enemy. Has an extra 20% chance of inflicting a critical hit.

While attacking under a [Veil] buff, enemies killed by this skill cannot be revived. While attacking without a [Veil] buff, fully depletes the target’s Turn Meter and fills this Champion’s Turn Meter equal to the amount the target loses. Can only decrease the Turn Meter by up to 50% against Bosses. This Turn Meter decrease cannot be resisted.

Grimskin

  • Tarry Fist (Ascended): Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 25% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns. → Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 40% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns. Damage based on DEF.

Each hit has a 50% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn. Has a 40% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn if the first [Provoke] debuff is placed. Damage based on DEF.
  • lchor Fling: Damage based on DEF.

Hexia

  • Grave Rot: Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 25% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. Chances to place this debuff increase by 10% per each debuff places on this Champion. → Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 35% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. Chances to place this debuff increase by 10% per each debuff placed on this Champion.
  • Soulreap: Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 30% [Increase C.RATE] buff on this Champion for 2 turns if the target is killed. Has a 30% chance of granting another turn if the target is killed. → Attacks 1 enemy. Grants an Extra Turn and places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on this Champion for 2 turns if this attack kills an enemy.
  • Spirit Harvest (Ascended): Attacks 1 enemy. Heals this Champion by 15% of damage inflicted. The heal increases by 10% for each dead enemy. Places a 15% [Increase SPD] buff on this Champion for 2 turns. → Attacks 1 enemy. Heals this Champion by 15% of damage inflicted. The heal increases by 10% for each dead enemy. Places a 30% [Increase SPD] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.

Reinbeast

  • It Glows: When an ally is attacked, places a [Shield] buff equal to 35% of this Champion’s MAX HP on that ally for 2 turns. Occurs once per turn. Will not place a [Shield] buff on this Champion.

Mastery Scrolls Purchase For Gems

As of Update 1.12, it will be possible to max out Mastery Scrolls for a chosen Champion at the cost of 800 Gems. The price does not change no matter how many Scrolls the Champion has at the time of the purchase. This can be done at any point (unless the Champion’s Scrolls are already maxed out, then the purchase is not available), but keep in mind that the Champion will still need to reach Rank 6 to use the highest tier Mastery.

Miscellaneous

  1. Additional 100 slots have been added to the Champion Storage and can be unlocked with Silver or Gems
  2. Pre-Battle selection menu now allows using Champions who are currently in the Champion Storage (they will be removed from Storage and require free slots in the Tavern)
  3. A confirmation pop-up has been added to the Inventory, ensuring Artifacts won’t be destroyed without the player being absolutely certain
  4. A Server Maintenance Alert Window has been added
  5. Artifact Inventory has undergone thorough optimization, and an additional 200 slots have been added
  6. Fusion now allows the use of Champions of higher Rank than is specifically required (you can use Rank 5 Champion even if Fusion requires them to be Rank 4)
  7. Players who manage to take top places on the Tournament Global Leaderboards will receive additional rewards now!
  8. Multi-Battle will no longer remove Max Level Champions that are selected for the Team before the Battle starts (to allow players without a single powerful farmer an easier time using this feature)
    Tavern UI improvements.

Bugfix

  1. The Battle Engine has been optimized and improved, a number of issues causing the game to crash were fixed
  2. A number of Champions and Bosses had their AI improved
  3. Multiple minor bugs fixed

Greetings from Plarium! We have recently finished testing a new batch of Champion balance changes, and we are releasing it today alongside improvements to the Clan Boss Rewards. As ever, we are keeping an eye on player feedback as well as game metrics to see what Champions need to be looked at and we will continue doing our best to release these balance changes frequently.

Champion Rebalance

Valkyrie

  • Stand Firm: Shield value significantly increased.

Altan

  • New Skill Aura: Increases Ally DEF in all battles by 33%

Errol

  • Helmbreaker: This attack has an extra 30% chance to deal a Critical Hit.
  • Negation: This attack has an extra 30% chance to deal a Critical Hit.

Angar

  • Infuriate: [Provoke] is now applied for 2 turns
  • Bravado: If an enemy with a [Provoke] debuff attacks, has a 50% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff on them for 1 turn. Each hit taken will reduce damage taken by 4% (up to 20% in one round).

Turvold

  • Crackling Blade: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Has a 55% chance of placing a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns.

Warchief

  • Standstill: Reflects 60% of the damage taken back to the attacker. DEF increases by 10% for each dead ally.

Norog

  • Maul: Attacks 1 enemy. Has an 85% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ACC] debuff for 1 turn. Scales from the Champion’s DEF.
  • Ice Pillar: Scales from Champion’s DEF

Mountain King

  • Base Stats: Speed decreased. HP and Resistance increased. HP: 20,145 → 31,050 | SPD: 101 → 85 | RESIST: 40 → 90

Tomb Lord

  1. Death Burst: Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 70% chance of placing three 5% [Poison] debuffs on all enemies for 1 turn if the target is killed by this attack.   1. Repent: Attacks 1 enemy. Fills a random ally’s Turn Meter by 15%. → Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Fills the Turn Meter of 3 random allies by 15%. Allies can only have their Turn Meter filled once per turn by this Skill.

Dracomorph

  2. Aegis: Places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on a target ally for 2 turns. Places a 50% [Ally Protection] buff on the target ally for 2 turns. This Champion will take 50% of the damage inflicted on the target ally. → Places a 15% [Continous Heal] buff, a 15% [Increase SPD] buff, and a 30% [Reflect Damage] buff on a target ally for 3 turns. Also places a 50% [Ally Protection] buff on the target ally for 3 turns. This Champion will take 50% of the damage inflicted on the target ally.

Steel Bowyer

  1. Big Game: Attacks all enemies 3 times. Damage increases according to enemy MAX HP. Cooldown: 6 turns. → Attacks all enemies. Damage increases according to enemy MAX HP. Cooldown: 7 turns. (Hidden: Damage increased to maintain similar damage output.)

Mountain King

  1. Void Shard Summoning Chances have been adjusted and brought up to match those of the Ancient Shard
  2. Minor changes to the Artifact Upgrade Events will be implemented to streamline the process and make it more convenient
  3. An option to delete an equipped Artifact has been added. The Artifact is lost, but removing it costs no Silver
  4. An option to open a specific Affinity Keep for 24 hours has been added. It costs 200 Gems for Magic, Spirit, and Force Keeps. And 300 Gems for the Void Keep
  5. Adjusted the Multi-Battle Champion queue to make it more convenient for the players
  6. Artifact Drops adjusted, High-Rank Legendary Artifacts are far more likely to drop from later Stages in the Dungeons (while Rare Artifacts drop rate has been decreased for those Stages). Earlier Stages have a decreased drop rate for High-Rank Legendary Artifacts
  7. Shaman, Jizoh, High Khatun, Yagga the Insatiable, and Dark Athel have been removed from the Sacred Shard Summons

Bugfix

  1. Fixed the error that appeared when attempting to sell an Artifact that was just taken from the Inbox
  2. Fixed the error that appeared when attempting to link a Plarium ID of an already existing account to a new account
  3. Fixed Hakkorhn Smashlord’s [Blood Offering] Skill, self-damage is no longer mitigated by the Champion’s DEF
  4. Fixed Zavia’s [Deadly Catalyst] Skill, it applies Block Revive properly now even if the target is killed by Warmaster/Giant Slayer damage

New Buffs: Veil and Perfect Veil

Note: Champions with this ability will become available later. Crafted by the wise and powerful mages, the spell of the Veil takes many forms and applications. But its purpose remains unchanged – it hides the Champion from the eyes of his or her foes, allowing for a perfect strike to be delivered when the time is right. This buff has two tiers: Veil and Perfect Veil. The Champion under either of these buffs cannot be chosen as a target of an enemy Champion’s Skill. Note: if all remaining Champions on your team have an active Veil or Perfect Veil effect, the enemy will no longer be restricted in choosing a target. In the case of basic Veil, the effect will be immediately lifted if the Champion uses a Skill that deals damage.

With the exception of:

  • Damage inflicted by the Skill that applies [Veil] (if applicable)
  • Passive damage
  • Damage that “Does not count as a hit”

At the same time, [Perfect Veil] is not affected, no matter what Skills the Champion uses. Thus it allows them to strike with impunity for as long as the buff remains active – or they have a wall of allies to hide behind.

New Clan Boss Difficulty

Taught a humbling and painful lesson by his previous defeats (and having learned that the Champions of Teleria now have access to awesome Rank 6 Artifacts), the Demon Lord returns far stronger and tougher than he was. A whole new Difficult is available to veteran players now, and it brings new awesome rewards. Keep in mind, the balance of previous Clan Boss chests has been adjusted to accommodate for this change.

New Tournaments

Several new Dungeon Tournaments are planned to launch in the coming weeks as part of the regular line up. Heed the words of the Heralds and be ready to prove the strength of your Champions to all of Teleria!

Greetings from Plarium!

Update 1.9 is live now! While the immediate changes you will see are few, there are a number of features that will become available before 1.10. See the notes below to learn about them – and some of the things we’ve been working on in the meanwhile.

Tournament

Tournaments return to Teleria. Not one, but two are planned to be released in the coming weeks. These will not be the same as the original Tournament you’ve seen, however. Keep an eye on the in-game news and announcements. In due time, more information will be revealed!

Champion Fusion

Ever since Fusion was released, the Community’s request was clear – temporary events may be good and well, but additional Champions that will remain a permanent option are sorely needed. That was always the plan, but now is the time to make the first step. So, before Update 1.10 is released, an Epic Champion will be added to Fusion.

New Champions

Another Champion pack is being prepared. They will be joining the forces of Teleria before 1.10 hits as well, and a separate Spotlight will be released to herald their arrival.

Bugfix

  • Fixed the bug causing a temporary loss of Gems when entering the Market
  • Fixed the bug causing a loading “spinner” to appear whenever an Artifact upgrade is attempted
  • Artifact Challenges that were changed in 1.8 but remained bugged are now fixed
  • Multi-Battle bug causing an incorrect reward window to appear has been fixed as well

Things To Come

Road Map For Upcoming Features: Update 1.9 is a small one, but it is not so because work has been halted or delayed. Numerous features – some major, some smaller – are nearing the end of their development, and many more are in the pipeline. To give our players a better understanding of what we are planning to release and in approximately what order, we are creating a Developer Road Map. It will be posted in all our communities, so be certain to keep an eye out.

Champion Balance

As I relayed many times, Champion Balance is an important article of our Update plans. Though we were unable to go through with it as often as we wanted for a while, we are picking up the pace now. Update 1.10 will see over 10 Champions rebalanced, several long-requested Legendaries among them. See this thread to learn who is definitely on that list and add your own suggestions for future buffs or nerfs!

    Souldrinker has gotten a buff on his a3 cooldown too, it was 6 turns unbooked on release. When did this happen?

    @matti: Minaya’s Beauty Alure skill upgrade adds +20% Heal. Therefore, her base healing which is 40% is multiplied by 20% results in 8% additional heal. Formula: (40 x 20/100 = 8). The total healing will be 40% base heal + 8% additional heal from skill upgrade = 48%.

    No. This is not how this works. Sadly, the percentages get added based on the base 40% in the same way as the mastery “lore of steel”

    There is a mistake in the seer description. The chance to sleep is increased by buff removal, not debuff.
