Known Issues V2.35

  • Champions Disappear on the Tag Team Arena: The game currently experiences issues during the Tag Team Arena Battles so that Champions may disappear between the rounds. The game freezes and locks up without explicitly crashing, forcing a player to re-login.
  • Game images are not loading properly: The icons of Artifacts, Champions, and Skills are still loading when you enter the Champions tab or Market.
    The problem disappears once you re-enter the location.
  • Chat bans for no reason: This is a known issue and the game developers are already working on it. Please contact our Support Team to have the chat ban lifted.
  • Messages are not visibie in the chat: Your messages might not be visible in some channels ifyour game chatwas banned recently. As a temporary solution, we recommend using other channels.

This update includes some new features, along with some major and minor changes to existing features. Here’s everything you need to know:

Faction Wars Completion Reward

  • Earn 3 Stars on every Crypt Stage to get an exclusive Legendary Champion – Lydia the Deathsiren!
  • Lydia the Deathsiren (Rarity: Legendary, Type: Support, Affinity: Void, Faction: Dark Elves)
  • Please note: Lydia the Deathsiren is exclusively available by completing Faction Wars, and cannot be otherwise summoned.
  • Everyone who already earned 3 Stars on every Stage will get Lydia just after the update goes live and won’t have to redo every Stage.

New Avatar available for Gold Tier players at the Bazaar

Climb the Tag Arena Tiers to get access to an exclusive new Avatar. There will be one available from 00:00 UTC November, 1st, with more coming soon – so keep fighting and keep an eye on the Bazaar!

Game FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • From now on, you’ll be able to access Game FAQ from the side menu in your Bastion, as well as from each of the in-game Guides.
  • In the FAQ you’ll find extended feature guides, tips and tricks, Raid’s most-frequently-asked questions, and even server maintenance notices.

Mercy System

  • The Mercy System increases your chances of getting higher-Rarity Champions from Shards if you have a long streak of summons without getting an Epic or Legendary Champion.
  • The System activates automatically after you summon a certain number of Shards without getting a Champion of a specific Rarity.
  • Once activated, the Mercy System increases your odds of summoning Champions of a specific Rarity with every consecutive Shard you summon of that Type.
  • For example, after summoning 20 Void Shards without getting an Epic Champion, your chance of getting an Epic Champion from Void Shards will increase by 2% with every Shard – until you get an Epic Champion, at which point the odds will reset back to the default chances for that Rarity.
  • There’s a little bit more to it than that, but we can’t explain it all here. Head to the Info section at the Portal to read a full breakdown.

Champions and Battle fixes

  • [Player-Testing] Candraphon A2 Skill Animation changed from Bomb to Tentacle.
  • Changed Hatchet Slinger’s icon.
  • Giant Slayer or Warmaster Masteries will no longer trigger effects based on the target’s death – such as gaining an extra turn or blocking revives. This means if the enemy dies from the initial damage of the skill, the effects will trigger as normal. However, if the enemy dies from the damage of the Mastery, the effects will not trigger.
  • Elhain Keen Shot skill won’t place an extra hit if the target is killed by the first hit.
  • Fixed the animation of the [Decrease ATK] debuff from Rearguard Sergeant Flail Master skill.
  • [Block Revive] now places correctly when Torturehelm Unkillable [Passive] skill activates.
  • Lyssandra Transference skill now correctly transfers all debuffs from herself to the target.
  • Fixed how [Sleep] debuff duration displays in the info popup during Battle.
  • [Block Revive] debuffs now activate before damage is taken from [Reflect Damage] buffs in cases where both are present.
  • Auto Battle now works correctly in Tag Arena after tapping on the Auto button when switching between Battles.
  • Fixed a bug that resulted in game freezes when switching between Tag Team Arena Battles.
  • Fenax now places [Block Revive] after the target’s death if the Deterrence Mastery activates.
  • Cleansing Accessories’ Special Effect animation will now display only if there is a debuff on the Champion.
  • While under [Shield] buffs, Skullcrown Resilient [Passive] skill now activates if attacked by a Skill that ignores [Shield] buffs.
  • AOE skills that trigger extra turns won’t show multiple extra turns popups during battle.
  • Fixed a bug that resulted in game freezes when Team Attack skills are activated while a [Fear] debuff is present.
  • While under [Counterattack] buffs, Souldrinke Razing Hand skill decreases [Bomb] debuff detonation countdowns as expected if the detonation is supposed to be after 2 turns.

Game Experience Enhancements

  • Removed Rare Skill Tomes from Chests won for placing in Classic Arena’s Gold Tiers. (Changed in V 2.21.1)
  • Removed Rare Skill Tomes from Nightmare and Ultra-Nightmare Clan Boss Chests. (Changed in V 2.21.1)
  • Removed Rare Artifacts and Rank 4 Artifacts from Chests won from placing in Classic Arena’s Gold IV Tier. (Changed in V 2.21.1)
  • Adjusted the drop chances of Rank 4 and 5 Rare and Epic Artifacts in Chests won from placing in Classic Arena’s Gold III Tier. (Changed in V 2.21.1)
  • Classic Arena Rewards must now be collected from the Tiers tab after refresh. Added a “red dot” indicator as a reminder.
  • Added a “red dot” indicator to the Tag Team Arena icon on the Arena Map if there is a Reward available.
  • Fixed the Tag Team Arena progress bar. The bar will no longer be green if players are not going to be promoted to the next Tier.
  • The Stats of an equipped Artifact/Accessory now display correctly in the Collection after upgrading it.
  • Artifact Icons will now be displayed correctly in the Artifact Storage after upgrading Artifacts.
  • Fixed a bug that resulted in a broken Clan window when a player is accepted into a Clan through a cancelled application.
  • Cleansing and Refresh Accessories are now upgraded correctly.
  • The Level 100 label is now fully visible on Clan Member icons.
  • Fixed how the Bastion is displayed after visiting the Quests interface from a Quest Completion notification right before the start of the battle.
  • Multi-Battle attempts will be now added as intended without extra delays after Raid Card auto-renewal.
  • The “Enable Notifications” achievement completion notification now works correctly.
  • Fixed how long Charm names are displayed in Events.
  • Fixed how Charm icons are displayed in Tournaments.
  • The Issue description no longer switches places with the subject when sending a report to Plarium Support on iOS devices.

Artifact Forge

Remember that old campfire in the middle of the Bastion? Yeah, it gained a level and grew into a proper arcane forge, where summoners from all across Teleria can craft powerful Artifacts to equip their Champions with! This feature will be unlocked for players of level 30 and above, which is when the Artifact Forge building becomes accessible. Tapping on it will bring up the Forge UI, where you can craft Artifacts from specific Sets by spending a resource called Materials and Silver.

There will be four types of Materials:

  • Magisteel, which you earn by winning Classic Arena Battles.
  • Soulstone (Rare, Epic, Legendary), which you earn by winning Faction Wars Battles
  • Bloodstone (Rare, Epic, Legendary) is also obtained from Faction Wars
  • Corehammer (Legendary only). This is a special Material that can be obtained by scoring a certain number of points in Tournaments

Where to get materials for Forge and how to use it?

  1. Tournaments and Events will award various materials as well. Keep in mind that the maximum number of Magisteel, Soulstone, Bloodstone, and Corehammers that any player can keep is 10,000 each. Anything that goes over that limit will be lost.
  2. Once you have enough Materials stored, you can begin crafting Artifacts. To do so, you just need to select the desired Artifact Set and the Rank which you want to go for. Once that is done, you spend a set amount of Silver to begin crafting, and a random Artifact from that Set will be forged (within the chosen Rank limits). It’s that simple!
  3. But what if you want to get a specific Artifact, like a Shield, or Boots? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! There is another resource you can use in crafting – Charms.
  4. Adding Charms to your recipe increases the chances of getting Artifacts with: Better Rank, Better Rarity, Specific Artifact Type, Specific Substats
  5. You can apply up to 4 Charms at once, but only 1 of each type. They will be available as rewards for Tournaments, Events, and in some cases – Advanced Quests.

Finally, let’s take a quick look at the Artifact Sets available in the Forge:

  • Resilience: (2) Set. HP +10%, DEF +10%
  • Perception: (2) Set. ACC +40, SPD +5%
  • Swift Parry: (4) Set. SPD +18%, C. DMG +30%, 50% chance to get Unkillable for 1 turn when hit with a fatal hit
  • Deflection: (4) Set. HP +20%, DEF +20%, 25% chance to deflect 1 debuff onto the attacker when a debuff is placed on the wearer

Forge Conclusion

These are just the beginning, of course! There will be more additions to the Forge as we go forward – unique and powerful Artifact Sets closely connected to new gameplay features. If you watched our “What’s Next in Raid” video, you already know the Doom Tower will feature new Artifacts and Materials needed to craft these same Sets in the Forge. And, again, that is just what we have stored for the next few Updates. Expect to see even more later on!

Advanced Quests

  • Now, this is one of those features taking what you already know and making it better. Like the Daily Quests everyone in Raid is used to by now, Advanced Quests offer a list of challenges to complete.
  • Some of them are static and do not refresh until they are done, others will need to be completed within 24 hours.
  • These challenges will focus on things not yet covered by Daily or Weekly Quests: Tag Team Arena, Faction Wars, and so on.
  • When the Doom Tower goes live, there will be specific Advanced Quests for it as well. Each completed Quest will provide you with an individual reward, but those are just a small bonus.
  • The main thing? You have a tally of 250 Advanced Quests. Completing them all will net you a Legendary Skill Tome!
  • With several other rewards to claim along the way. There are no time limits on these, nor is it a one-time gig.
  • You can complete Advanced Quests at your pace, and after you’ve reached 250 and claimed your reward, the tally will reset and the cycle will begin anew!

Champion Balance Notes

  • With the above in mind, you can be confident that the role of PvP Arena Battles in player progression – both Classic and Tag Team Arena – will grow. So it is more important than ever to ensure a fair playing field between different teams and Champion compositions. To that end, we will be releasing one of our most comprehensive balance patches in Update 2.20.
  • The goal is simple – bringing some Champions down a notch while keeping them viable and, at the same time, improving other existing Champions to make team compositions varied and interesting. None of these changes were made on a whim; our dev team reviewed long-term game data, community feedback, specialist analysis of existing PvP and PvE meta.
  • The most obvious example of this would be the Undead love doves Rotos and Siphi (the Lost Groom and the Lost Bride, respectively). They are the subject of many debates within the community but, more importantly, our analysis shows that these Champions (paired or individually) take part in 90% of all Arena Battles in Gold IV Tier and above. Unfortunately, they are extremely difficult to counter and thus became a no-brainer choice that damages Arena Team diversity.
  • Naturally, we have no desire to make these Champions unusable or even “just average”. So the changes you will see below aim to bring Rotos and Siphi in line with other top-tier Legendaries while minimizing the impact on gameplay for those who already poured a lot of effort into them.
  • We increase Duchess Lilitu’s Skill cooldowns for the same reasons as that is one of the least painful ways of balancing her without affecting the Champion’s core strengths. And while there are a couple more “nerfs”, the vast majority of changes in this patch are positive. Many Epics and Legendaries who lacked a certain spark to reach their potential will hopefully receive it now.
  • As always, game balance is an ongoing effort, and this latest Update will not be the end of it. There are many other Champions on our list, so expect to hear more in the future!

3 New Champions

The champions skill description below are the final results of max upgraded skill for easier reference.

Drokgul the Gaunt (Ogryn Tribes: Legendary Support Spirit)

  • Bonebreak Boulder [HP] Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 40% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff for 1 turn.
  • Eldritch Ground (Cooldown: 3 turns) Places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff and a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Also places a [Block Damage] buff for 1 turn on allies with less than 30% HP.
  • Runestone Blessing (Cooldown: 4 turns) [Active Effect] Places a [Shield] buff equal to 18% of this Champion’s MAX HP on all allies for 3 turns. [Passive Effect] Heals each ally by 15% of this Champion’s MAX HP whenever a [Shield] buff placed by this Skill expires, is removed, or is broken by an enemy attack. Allies whose [Shield] buffs are broken will also counterattack the enemy that breaks the [Shield]. When a [Shield] is broken, the heal occurs instantly before any remaining damage from the Shield-breaking attack is taken. (Note: Total 18% shield is calculated as 15% base Shield * 120% from skill upgrades)

Saito (Undead Hordes: Legendary Attack Spirit)

  • Unbearable Assault [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Has a 60% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns after the first hit. Places an extra hit if the [Decrease DEF] debuff is placed.
  • Enduring Warrior (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Before attacking, places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff and a 30% [Increase C.DMG] buff on this Champion for 2 turns if this Champion’s DEF is higher than the target’s DEF. Decreases the cooldown of this Skill by 1 turn if the target has more than 50% HP after the attack.
  • Army Breaker [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks 1 enemy, then attacks all enemies except the initial target if there are 3 or more enemies alive. lnflicts 20% more damage on the first hit if the the target has higher MAX HP than this Champion.
  • Vendetta [Passive] Will ignore 7.5% of enemy DEF for each time this Champion attacks the same target enemy in consecutive attacks or Turns. Stacks up to 30%. The stack will be lost and reset if this Champion targets and attacks a different enemy.
  • Aura Increases Ally ATK in Dungeons by 30%

Lydia the Deathsiren (Demonspawn: Legendary Attack Void)

  • Oppression [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 75% chance of placing a [Fear] debuff for 1 turn. Has a 75% chance of increasing the duration of any [Poison Sensitivity] debuffs by 1 turn. Attacks enemy Champions with this Skill whenever they place a [Freeze], [Stun], [Fear], or [True Fear] debuff on an ally. The number of attacks increases according to how many debuffs are placed at that time: 1 attack for each [Freeze]. [Stun]. [Fear], or [True Fear] debuff placed. The first attack will target the attacker, while all extra hits will attack random enemies.
  • Siren’s Wail [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff and a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns Also places a 25% [Strengthen] buff and a 30% [Increase SPD] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
  • Nullification [ATK] (Cooldown: 5 turns) Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. The first hit has a 75% chance of placing a 25% [Poison Sensitivity] debuff for 2 turns. The second hit has a 75% chance of placing a [Block Buffs] and [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff or 2 turns.
  • Death Hold [Passive] (Cooldown: 7 turns) Denies enemy revive attempts. This works even if this Champion is dead. It this Champion is alive when an enemy revive is denied, revives all dead allies with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter. Grants an Extra Turn instead if there are no dead allies. If this Champion is dead when enemy revive is denied, revives this Champion with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter. This will ignore Block Revive.

Rotos the Lost Groom

  • Terror Scourge [ATK][HP] Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 75% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. Also has a 30→25% chance of granting an Extra Turn.
  • Vitality Plunder [ATK][HP] *Damage slightly decreased*
  • Fated Destruction [ATK][HP] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Will ignore 75→60% of the target’s DEF. Will also ignore [Unkillable] and [Block Damage] buffs. Grants an Extra Turn if this attack kills an enemy. Enemies killed by this skill cannot be revived (NEW → if this Champion has MAX HP from the Vitality Plunder skill). Grants an Extra Turn if this skill kills an enemy. *Fixed an issue causing incorrect damage calculation for this skill. Effectively, it will result in a slight damage reduction.*

Siphi the Lost Bride

  • Whirlwind Romance (Cooldown: 5→6 turns) Fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 15→10% and places a [Block Debuffs] buff, a 60% [Increase DEF] buff, and a 30% [Increase SPD] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
  • Eternal Bond [Passive] Heals each ally by 15→10% of their MAX HP at the start of their turn. Has a 40% chance of removing [Freeze] and [Fear] debuffs from each ally at the start of their turn. Removes all debuffs from Rotos the Lost Groom at the start of their turn if they are on the same team.

Arbiter

  • Destiny’s Call (Cooldown: 7 turns) *Fixed a bug that had the Arbiter filling her Team’s Turn Meter by 30% instead of 20% as the skill intends.*

Duchess Lilitu

  • Shroud of Souls (Cooldown: 5→6 turns) Places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff and a [Block Debuffs] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Places a [Perfect Veil] buff on all allies except this Champion for 2 turns. *EDIT: Plarium decided not to nerf Duchess Lilitu after listening to player’s feedback. Hence, this nerf is not implemented.*

Madame Serris

  • Midnight Ritual (Cooldown: 6 turns) Removes all buffs from enemies. Places a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff and a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff on all enemies for 3→2 turns.

Khoronar

  • Flourish of Slaughter [HP] Attacks all enemies. Has a 50% chance of decreasing each target’s Turn Meter by 10→5%. Attacks all enemies 2 times instead of 1 and the chance of decreasing each target’s Turn Meter increases to 100% if Minaya is on the same team. The damage of each hit will be decreased by 50%.

Blind Seer

  • Dark Shroud (Cooldown: 5 turns) Places a [Shield] buff and a [Block Debuffs] buff on all allies for 2 turns. The shield is proportional to this Champion’s MAX HP. → Places a [Block Debuffs] buff on all allies for 2 turns, then places a [Shield] buff on all allies for equal to 30% of this Champion’s MAX HP for 2 turns.
  • Self Sacrifice (Cooldown: 7→6 turns) Revives all dead allies to 35% HP. Places a [Block Damage] buff on all allies except this Champion for 1 turn. (This Champion will receive damage equal to 25% of their MAX HP. This will happen even if it kills this Champion. → REMOVED)
  • Aura Increases Ally DEF in Dungeons by 42%. → Increases Ally DEF in all battles by 34%

Warlord

  • Protection of Gods (Cooldown: 4 turns) Places a [Block Debuffs] buff on all allies for 1 turn, then places a [Shield] buff on all allies for equal to 30% of this Champion’s MAX HP for 2 turns. (Restores all allies’ HP by 25%. → Heals all allies by 25% of their MAX HP.)
  • Orcish Rituals (Cooldown: 6→5 Turns) Attacks all enemies. Has a 70% chance to put each target’s Skills on cooldown. Has a 30% chance to fully deplete each target’s Turn Meter.
  • Aura Increases Ally RESIST in all Battles by 50→80.

Cruetraxa

  • Curse of Writhing [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50→75% chance of placing a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns. Has a 50→75% chance of removing 2 random buffs from the target. Grants an Extra Turn.

Gurgoh The Augur

  • Bonechiller (Cooldown: 6→5 turns) Removes 1→2 random buffs from all enemies. Has an 80% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Grants an Extra Turn.
  • Base Speed 92→98

Alika

  • Disorient [ATK] (Cooldown: 6→4 turns) Attacks all enemies. Has a 35→75% chance of increasing the cooldowns of all enemy skills by 1 turn.

Elder Skarg

  • Hunt the Marked [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Places an extra hit for each buff or debuff on the target. Can place up to 3 extra hits. Places a [HP Burn] debuff for 2 turns and a [True Fear] debuff for 1 turn if this attack places all 3 extra hits. (NEW → Steals all the buffs from the target after the attack.)
  • Elder’s Clarion [ATK] (Cooldown: 5 turns) Places a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on this Champion for 3 turns. Places a [Fear] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Places a [True Fear] debuff for 1 turn on targets under [Block Damage] buffs. Places a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns on targets under [Shield] buffs. These debuffs cannot be resisted. (NEW → Also places a [Provoke] debuff on Legendary Champions for 1 turn.)
  • Kingslayer [Passive] Receives 15% less damage from Legendary Champions. (NEW → Inflicts damage equal to this Champion’s ATK when attacked by Legendary Champions.)

Candraphon

  • Punish Hubris [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy. Places an extra hit if the target is under ([Increase ATK] buff → any buff).
  • On the Hunt (Cooldown: 5 turns) Places a [Perfect Veil] buff, a 50% [Increase ATK] buff, a 30% [Increase SPD] buff, and a 30% [Increase C.DMG] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.
  • From the Shadows [Passive] Damage increases by 40% while attacking under a [Veil] or [Perfect Veil] buff. → [Passive Effect] Damage increases by 40% while attacking under a [Veil] or [Perfect Veil] buff. Receives 40% less damage while under a [Veil] or [Perfect Veil] buff. Also boosts this Champion’s Turn Meter by 15% each time this Champion receives damage under a [Veil] or [Perfect Veil] buff. Does not work if this Champion is the only alive ally on the team. [Active Effect] Places a [Perfect Veil] buff on this Champion for 1 turn each time an enemy’s Turn Meter is filled. This buff cannot be removed.

Tormin the Cold

  • Wintry Wind [Passive] (Cooldown: 8 turns) [Passive Effect] Has a 15% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff on the enemy each time they receive a buff, get healed, or have their Turn Meter filled. The 15% chance applies for each effect individually in cases where an enemy receives multiple of these effects at the same time. Does not work with effects from Artifact Sets, Turn Meter filling effects from Masteries, healing, or those buffs or effects that take place at the start of a Round. [Active Effect] Revives this Champion to 100% HP when killed and placed a [Freeze] debuff on this Champion for 1 turn. → [Passive Effect] Has a 20% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff on the enemy each time they receive a buff or have their Turn Meter filled. The 20% chance applies up to twice per enemy turn (once for buffs, once for Turn Meter fills) in cases where an enemy receives multiple of these effects at the same time. Does not work with effects from Artifact Sets, Turn Meter filling effects from Masteries, healing, or those buffs or effects that take place at the start of a Round. Bystophus

  • Horror [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff for 1 turn. (NEW → Has a 35% chance of placing a [True Fear] debuff for 1 turn on targets under [Block Cooldown Skills] debuffs.)
  • Crumble [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks 4 times at random. Each hit has a 50% chance of placing a [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff for 2 turns. Each hit also has a 50% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. → Attacks all enemies. Has a 50% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. Also has a 50% chance of placing a [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff for 2 turns.

Azure

  • Soulreap [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Grants an Extra Turn and places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on this Champion for 2 turns if this attack kills an enemy. (NEW → Damage increases by 7.5% for each debuff on this Champion. Stacks up to 30%.)
  • Spirit Harvest [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Heals this Champion by 15% of the damage inflicted. The heal increases by 10% for each (dead enemy → debuff on this Champion). Places a 30% [Increase SPD] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.

Snorting Thug

  • Ruckus [HP] Attacks 1 enemy. (NEW → Steals 2 random buffs from the target.) Ignores the target’s DEF if they have no active buffs.
  • Dire Defense [Passive] Has a 30% chance of (removing → stealing) 1 random buff from the attacker when hit. Occurs once per hit. Counterattacks the attacker if they have no active buffs.

Rowan

Hakkorhn Smashlord

  • Rallying Bellow (Cooldown: 4 turns) Heals all allies by 15% of this Champion’s HP. Removes all debuffs from allies and heals them by an extra 10% for each removed debuff. Places a [Block Debuffs] buff on all allies for 2 turns. → Removes all debuffs from all allies, then places a [Block Debuffs] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Heals all allies by 15% of this Champion’s HP. Heals each ally by an extra 10% of this Champion’s MAX HP for each debuff removed from them.
  • Blood Offering [MAX HP] (Cooldown: 5 turns) Receives damage equal to 50% of this Champion’s MAX HP. Always inflicts a normal hit. This will happen even if it kills this Champion. If not killed, attacks all enemies. Damage is proportional to 50% of this Champion’s MAX HP. → Sacrifices HP equal to 25% of this Champion’s MAX HP, then attacks all enemies. Damage inflicted is equal to 50% of this Champion’s MAX HP. This attack is always a normal hit. The HP sacrifice will happen even if it kills this Champion.

Belanor

  • Tactical Partner (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 5% [Poison] debuff, a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff, a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff, and a 50% [Decrease ACC] debuff for 2 turns. [Only Available when Zavia is on the same team] → Activates this Champion’s Swordleader skill. Also activates Zavia’s Poison Rain Skill when Zavia is on the same team.

Abbess

  • Mass Impalement [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks all enemies. Has a 50→75% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Divine Wrath [ATK] (Cooldown: 6 turns) Attacks all enemies. Damage inflicted is proportional to either this Champion’s ATK or the target’s DEF or ATK stat, whichever is highest. (NEW → Deals an extra 30% C.DMG if the target’s ATK is highest. Ignores 30% of the target’s DEF if the target’s DEF is highest.)

Gurptuk Moss-Beard

  • Druidic Boon (Cooldown: 3 turns) Removes all debuffs (NEW → except [Poison] debuffs) from an ally, then heals them by 30% of their MAX HP and places a [Shield] buff on the target equal to 20% of their MAX HP for 2 turns.
  • Cloud of Spores (Cooldown: 4 turns) Places three 5→2.5% [Poison] debuffs on all allies for 3 turns. These debuffs cannot be resisted or blocked. Also has an 80% chance of placing a [Block Buffs] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns.

Dracomorph

  • Seeping Pain [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy. Damage increases by 10% for each debuff on the target. Will attack 1 random enemy with any surplus damage if the target is killed. Damage inflicted is equal to triple the surplus damage. (NEW → Surplus damage cannot be critical.)

Drexthar Bloodtwin

  • Eldritch Flames [DEF][ATK] → [DEF] *Damage scales from Champion’s DEF*
  • Burning Lash [DEF] (Cooldown: 5 turns) Attacks all enemies. Has a 40→50% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn. This chance increases to 100% if the target is under a [HP Burn] buff. (NEW → Also places a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns if the [Provoke] debuff is placed.)

(2020-08-12) Patch Notes V2.12

Greetings, everyone! Today we are announcing Update 2.12 – a smaller, yet important patch that will fix several Arena-centered issues and bugs to improve everyone’s game experience. You can see the entire list of changes below:

Arena Miscellaneous

  • Fragments of Drexthar Bloodtwin will become available to all players (Bronze Tier and above) in the Tag Team Arena Bazaar
  • Purchase cooldown for the Silver Accessory Chest in the Bazaar will be decreased to 1 day
  • AI is going to be adjusted to ensure your Champions prioritize using their Active Skills as opposed to killing a low-level enemy with Basic Skills. This should prevent high-end Arena Defense teams from being confounded by the sneaky tactics of taking a basic Common Champion along to trick the AI into wasting a turn
  • We’ll adjust the matchmaking logic for generating your Opponents List in Tag Team Arena. It will now be more balanced, and you should see as Opponents list populated with Defenses closer to your strength.
  • A bug allowing players in the Platinum Tier Arena to gain more Arena Points than limits allow will be fixed
  • To ensure an active and competitive playing field, players that are inactive in Classic Arena Offense Battles will no longer show up in other players’ Opponents Lists. This change will be implemented as soon as the list of your Opponents is refreshed – either manually or automatically.

Clan Boss

Starting from Update 2.12, Clan Boss Keys will be subtracted upon a successful completion of the battle (much like Faction Wars Crypt Keys). This should ensure that players no longer lose an important resource due to technical issues. Of course, the damage will also count at the end of the Battle.

Bugfix

  • Will fix a bug preventing Tormin the Cold’s skill [Wintry Wind (Passive)] from triggering when an opponent’s Turn Meter is filled
  • Will fix a bug that “removes” displayed Artifact Levels in the Artifact Storage after those Artifacts are upgraded
  • Will fix a bug that prevents players from seeing the number of Gold Bars they can earn for a Tag Team Arena battle
  • Will fix a bug preventing Champion models from loading properly under certain conditions when the player switches between tabs in the Portal upon logging into the game

(2020-07-22) Patch Notes V2.10

This update includes some brand-new features, along with some existing feature and balance changes. There’s a lot to cover, so here’s everything you need to know:

Gold Bars and the Bazaar

  • Gold Bars are a special resource that can be won from battling in Tag Arena and as a weekly reward from your Tag Arena Tier placement. Gold Bars can then be exchanged at the Bazaar for rare and valuable items.
  • The Bazaar itself gives you access to a wide range of highly sought-after or exclusive items, which can only be acquired by exchanging them for Gold Bars.
  • Players in higher Tag Arena Tiers will earn more Gold Bars, but they’ll also have access to a wider selection of rarer items at the Bazaar.
  • Your Tag Arena Tier also determines which Bazaar Slots are open to you and therefore which Items you’re able to get. For example, players in Silver Tiers won’t have access to items in Gold Slots, but will be able to acquire all items from Bronze or Silver Slots.
  • Bronze Slots are open to everyone, while higher Tier Slots will open immediately as soon as you reach the required Tier.
  • Items at the Bazaar may have cooldowns or purchase limits. Cooldowns at the Bazaar won’t be temporarily paused if you are demoted to a lower Tier while a cooldown is active.

Bazaar-exclusive Accessories

  • We’re adding two brand-new types of Accessories that can only be acquired at the Bazaar.
  • Both types of Accessories are unique in that they also have Special Effects that can greatly impact a Champion’s performance in Battle.
  • The Special Effects from these Accessories stack if multiple Accessories of the same type are equipped. And like always, each Accessory has its own Rank, Rarity, and Faction.

The two new Accessory types are:

  • Cleansing Accessories: 8% chance to remove 1 random debuff from the wearer each turn.
  • Refresh Accessories: 5% chance to prevent a Skill going on cooldown after use.

Champion Fragments

  • Champion Fragments allow you to summon specific Champions once you’ve collected enough Fragments. Each Champion has their own set of Fragments that are only used to summon that Champion. For example, Foli’s fragments can only be used to summon Foli, and can’t be used to summon Dracomorph or any other Champion.
  • Right now, each Champion needs 100 Fragments – but you can always collect more if you want more than one of those Champions. Champion Fragments can’t be sold, swapped, transformed, or transferred to another Champion.
  • You can get Champion Fragments from Events and Tournaments.

We’ve extended the Daily Login Reward program to 270 days. Log into the game regularly to receive Shards, Resources, Skill Tomes, and much more. For reaching the 210th and 240th days, you’ll receive all-new Epic Champions… and on the 270th day, you’ll get a free Void Legendary Champion! Here are the new Daily Login Reward Champions. The champions skill description below are the final results of max upgraded skill for easier reference.

Tainix Hateflower (Demonspawn: Epic Support Force)

  • Seeker Bolts [ATK] Attacks 2 times at random. Heals all allies by 3% of this Champion’s HP with each hit on targets under [Decrease SPD] debuffs.
  • Spiteful Cut (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 100% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff on the target for 2 turns. Has a 50% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns instead if this attack is critical.
  • Unbreakable [Passive] Decreases the damage all allies receive by 5%. This Champion will receive that damage instead. If there are multiple Champions in the team with this Skill, only one will activate.
  • Aura Increases Ally HP in Faction Crypts by 30%.

Ghrush the Mangler (Ogryn Tribes: Epic Defense Spirit)

  • Gore-Slick Maul [DEF] Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 75% chance of placing a [Leech] debuff on the target for 2 turns before attacking.
  • Bonebreaker Stomp [DEF] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks all enemies. Has a 60% chance of placing 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff or a 30% [Decrease C.DMG] debuff for 2 turns.
  • Smothering Swath [DEF] (Cooldown: 4 turns) Attacks all enemies. Places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Places an additional 7.5% [Continous Heal] buff on all allies for 1 turn if at least one enemy is hit with a critical hit.
  • Aura Increases Ally DEF in Faction Crypts by 30%

Visix the Unbowed (Dark Elves: Legendary Defense Void)

  • Flanged Mace [DEF] Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has an 100% chance of decreasing the target’s Turn Meter by 10%. Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter equal to the amount the target loses.
  • Sinister Allies [DEF] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks all enemies. Has a 100% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns. Places a [Shield] buff for 2 turns on this Champion equal to 20% of their MAX HP for 2 turns.
  • Single Combat (Cooldown: 3 turns) Places a [Provoke] debuff on the target for 1 turn. Also places a 50% [Ally Protection] buff on all allies except this Champion for 2 turns.
  • Aura Increases Ally DEF in Faction Crypts by 37%

Tag Team Arena Improvements

  • Added the Tiers tab in Tag Arena.
  • Added information about new Accessories to the Arena Rewards info page.
  • Fixed visual bug: The number of Tag Team Arena Points won for each Battle is now displayed correctly in the Battle tab in cases when you lose 1 Battle of 3.
  • Fixed a bug that resulted in opening Champion info from the Chat while battling in Tag Team Arena.
  • Champions chosen as Leaders in Tag Arena Defenses now remain in the team after being ascended.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the game to freeze when tapping “Skip Battle” and your device’s native “Back” button at the same time on Android, or “Skip Battle” and “Esc” on Plarium Play.
  • Fixed a bug that caused freezes when using Drag & Drop to select Champions in Tag Arena Defense teams.
  • Fixed the format of Battle counter in the top-right corner of the screen.
  • Added music to Tag Team Arena Battles.
  • Fixed a low resolution issue with the result screen shown between Battles.

Champion Fixes

The following changes have been introduced to make these Champions or Skills work as intended:

  • Target selection now works correctly on Auto.
  • The error that occurred upon killing a Champion whose HP had been both increased and then decreased has been fixed.
  • The lag that occurred when using the [Reflect Damage] buff in combination with Passive Skills that revive Champions has been fixed.
  • The [Unkillable] buff no longer gets removed prematurely.
  • Skills that ignore the [Unkillable] buff, for example, Rotos the Lost Groom’s Fated Destruction skill, will now ignore the [Unkillable] buff only if those skills inflict enough damage to kill the target from the skill itself (before Giant Slayer or Warmaster mastery “rolls”).
  • Fixed the bug that allowed Tormin the Cold to place a [Freeze] debuff on Champions that tried to put buffs while they were under the block buffs debuff. Now he will only place a [Freeze] debuff if the enemy receives a buff.
  • The [Provoke] debuff placed by Tormin the Cold is now removed when Tormin is killed.
  • Tormin the Cold will now ignore all Mastery effects as intended with his Wintry Wind [P] skill.
  • Lightsworn’s Indomitable skill can now be used manually in Clan Boss battles after the Boss’s 50th turn.
  • Cruetraxa’s Rite of Rebirth [P] skill will now always place the [Revive On Death] buff on herself when she kills an enemy with a critical hit.
  • Foli’s Living Armor [P] skill now works correctly against Tormin the Cold.
  • Hound Spawn now ignores DEF with the [Shattering Strike] skill.
  • Suzerain Katonn now inflicts damage to all enemies after removing the [Block Damage] buff from them with the Banish From Time skill.
  • Arbiter now correctly fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 20% with the Destiny’s Call skill.
  • Elhain now has an extra 15% chance of inflicting a critical hit with the ascended Lightning Arrow skill.
  • Mortu-Macaab now correctly places [Block Revive] when killing an enemy with the Peril skill when the Warmaster Mastery is used.
  • Skullcrown’s From Beyond [Passive] skill now works correctly when she is under a [Shield] buff and is attacked with a skill that ignores the [Shield].
  • Dracomorph and Baron will now attack all remaining enemies with any surplus damage only if their default skill kills the target.
  • Fireblade’s Burning Spear skill will now have +5% Damage on 3rd, 5th, and 6th Skill Levels instead of Buff/Debuff Chance.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Kantra the Cyclone’s HP bar to indicate an incorrect amount.

Visual Fixes

  • The visualization of Rotos the Lost Groom’s skills has been fixed including an animation bug that occurred when Rotos receives a [Freeze] debuff.
  • Rotos the Lost Groom’s HP is now always displayed correctly.
  • The [HP Burn] effect is now displayed correctly against Bosses.
  • The visualization of revives from Passive Skills has been fixed for the following Champions: Altan, Brakus the Shifter, Minaya, Skull Lord Var-Gall, Tormin the Cold, Alika, Basilisk, Bushi, Sikara, Skullcrown, Torturehelm, Hospitaller, Master Butcher.
  • The [Veil] buff that Duchess Lilitu places on revived allies is now always correctly displayed.
  • Allies will now not switch places between Rounds when there are empty slots on the team.
  • Champions will now return to their initial positions after attacking in battles.

Game Experience Enhancements

  • Tainix Hateflower and Ghrush the Mangler cannot be summoned from Sacred Shards.
  • Added a warning to prevent sacrificing Champions with Artifacts or Accessories equipped.
  • All Epic and Legendary Champions of Rank 4 or higher received as rewards from Tournaments or Events are now locked by default.
  • Added a warning when both your Inbox and the relevant Storage options (Artifact Storage, Collection) are full and you try to purchase additional Items at the Shop or enter a Battle where you may win an Item as a reward.
  • A popup is now shown when there are no empty slots when attempting to fuse a Champion. No resources will be wasted.
  • Fixed an error that occurred when receiving a Faction Wars reward.
  • Balance change: Multi-hit skills that place [Sleep] debuffs will now no longer remove [Sleep] debuffs with additional hits if an earlier hit placed the debuff in the first place. The [Sleep] debuff will be removed by attacks as usual after that turn is finished.
  • Fixed an error that occurred during Battles with Kael, Elhain, Galek or Athel in the team.
  • Fixed how Event Rewards display on low-resolution devices.
  • When your Inbox is full, Artifacts or Accessories won from Battles can be sold only after the Battle, and not from your Inbox.

(2020-05-26) Patch Notes V1.15.5

Update 1.15.5 is live now! It brings us several useful bugfixes. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at these changes.

Minor Fixes

  1. Fixed a bug with Champions’ AI on CB that resulted in Champions using only their A1 when CB had 0% of HP
  2. Fixed a bug that prevented players from sacrificing the Champions with equipped Artifacts or Accessories
  3. Fixed a bug with the wrong Champion being selected after unlocking the needed one, while sacrificing Champions
  4. Fixed a bug with Madame Serris’s A2 that prevented her from placing [Block debuffs] buff on all allies for 2 turns if any buff is stolen

(2020-05-29) Patch Notes V2.00

The last several updates focused on the quality of life for our players more than anything else, but 2.0 has something special in store – a brand new Arena mode. This will not be a replacement for the old Arena Battles you know and love, but rather a complementing feature that will, in time, grow into something quite different. While this update will not introduce the special kind of reward we have in mind – we are still testing matchmaking and balance to ensure the PvP experience is fun and fair – all participating players will receive something for their effort regardless. We will elaborate in the Rewards section at the end of this Update Highlight. Without further ado, let’s dive right into it and see what glorious new carnage your Champions can unleash in the Arena Town of Velyzar!

Overview

You’ll see the first change as soon as you enter Arena Battles from the Game Modes menu. We’ve added an Arena Map, much like the ones you see in the Campaign, Dungeons, and Faction Wars modes. The old Arena Battles are still there, marked as Classic Arena – or the First Circle, as it is named on the map. What interests us this time is the Circle of Many – the Tag Team Arena – which will become available to all players of Level 35 and above. Tapping on the Tag Team Arena icon will bring you to its menu. You should be able to navigate it easily enough, given the familiar layout. Notice how a different kind of Token is required to fight in these battles. We’ll get to that later! For now, your Defense must be set.

Tag Team Arena Defense

  • The core principles of the Classic Arena remain largely unchanged. Before you start battling in Tag Arena, you need to set your Arena Defenses. But where the Classic Arena requires you to set at least 1 Champion, you will need to have at least 3 for the Tag Team Arena – a Champion of each Team. Team 1 will fight in the first battle, Team 2 in the second, and Team 3 in the third.
  • Note that you can use a drag & drop system, i.e. hold your finger over a Champion’s icon and drag it to the desired slot on the roster. The maximum number of Champions you can use is 12 – 4 in each of 3 Teams.
  • A Champion can only be used in the Tag Team Arena Defense roster once, unless you have a duplicate of them (in which case both can be used in the same Team or in different Teams). Just like in the Classic Arena, Champions used in the Defense team(s) cannot be sacrificed in the Tavern or for Fusion, nor can they be sent to the Sparring Pit or to the Champion Vault.
  • They can, however, be used for Classic Arena Defense and Tag Team Arena Defense at the same time!

Tag Arena Tokens

  • As mentioned before, Tag Team Arena Battles will require a special kind of Token to participate – Classic Arena Tokens won’t do. Here is how they’ll work.
  • Upon reaching Level 35 (or on the day Update 2.0 goes live for those players who are already Level 35 or higher), each player will receive 5 Tag Arena Tokens. That is the maximum number of Tokens that any one player can hold at a time. Just like in the case of the Classic Arena, any ‘overflow’ Tokens will be removed. So be sure to only use refills when your Tag Team Arena Tokens are at 0!
  • There is one important difference to keep in mind; where the Classic Arena Tokens are refilled at a rate of one per hour, Tag Arena Tokens are reset fully at 00:00 UTC. This effectively means that the game automatically gives you 5 Tag Arena Tokens every 24 hours. You will be able to buy a refill at the Gem Shop, but every new purchase will increase in price. This price increase also gets reset at 00:00 UTC.

Tag Team Arena Rewards

  • Tag Team Arena is here and the battle for the top positions has already started!
  • We’re very excited to hear what you think of Tag Arena and to see what inventive new strategies you come up with – so we want to give an even bigger reason to play.
  • That’s why we’ll be giving out special, one-time-only rewards after some time to each Tag Arena player that gives the mode a shot and adopts the feature early.
  • Each player will be given rewards based on their Tier in Tag Team Arena. The higher your Tag Team Arena Tier, the better the rewards.

Battle Tab

  • At their core, Tag Team Arena Battles work in a similar way to the Classic Arena.
  • There is a list of possible opponents in the Battle tab; you can see their Defense teams and choose which opponent to face by tapping the Battle button.
  • From there, you fill up your own Tag Team Teams to fight in each consecutive Battle (you will be able to see who they face off against) and initiate the Battle Series if you have enough Tag Arena Tokens to spare.
  • Should you not find a suitable opponent in the current list, you can refresh it once every 15 minutes for free or at any point after the first refresh (before the refresh ‘cooldown’ is over) for 15 Gems.

Fighting a Tag Team Arena Battle

  • Once the Battle starts, you will be taken to the Arena where your and your opponent’s Champions clash for glory and riches. There are no additional obstacles, no specific rules when it comes to the meat of the matter – you control a team of up to 4 Champions against an enemy team that too comprises 1-4 Champions (depending on how bold your foe is).
  • But where you only have to win once in the Classic Arena, here you must fight a series of 3 Battles in full, each one between new Champion teams. Whichever player wins 2 out of 3 Battles will be the overall winner, though each Battle contributes to the final score.
  • Any of the ongoing Battles can be skipped by tapping the Pause button and choosing Skip Battle. Of course, that will count as a defeat.
  • Also, keep in mind that you will not be able to fight the opponents you’ve already defeated again for 24 hours under normal circumstances. Those may only end up on your opponent list again if there are no other players to fight in your tier at that given moment.

Tag Team Arena Tiers

  • Every player starts with 1000 Tag Arena Points. Losing Battles will diminish these Points (to a minimum of 0), winning Battles will increase them (there is no cap on how many Points you can earn). There are 12 Tiers overall: Bronze I – IV, Silver I – IV, Gold I – IV.
  • Unlike the Classic Arena, there are no defined milestones that you have to reach in order to progress. Instead, a certain number of players will ascend to the next Tier every time Tag Arena Points are reset – currently, it will happen every Monday at 06:00 UTC.
  • The number of players in each Tier save for Bronze I is limited, and the game will choose as many contenders to progress as the Tier limit will allow based on their Tag Team Arena score. Those who have the lowest score will be demoted to the Tier a step below.
  • Fortunately, you can see where you stand thanks to a helpful progress bar. It’s even color-coded for your convenience: red means you will be demoted, yellow stands for remaining in the current Tier, and green heralds advancement to the next Tier! The number on the left shows how many Tag Arena Points you have, while the number on the right shows how many points the highest-ranking player in your Tier has.
  • If several players have the same score, whoever earned their Tag Arena Points first will get priority. I.e. if the choice is between letting one of the two players with a score of 3000 Points progress from Bronze II to Bronze III, the player who reached 3000 Points first will advance to Bronze III. Likewise, if two players have 1010 Points and one has to be moved to Bronze I, whoever scored 1010 first will remain in Bronze II while the other player will be demoted.

Rewards

  • There is a feature that we wanted to introduce to the game for a long while, one that our players likewise requested frequently – the ‘Arena Shop’, or Bazaar as it will be called. While it is not going to hit the servers in Update 2.0, we are happy to confirm that the Bazaar will happen in the next big Arena update.
  • At this point in time, we can’t reveal much in terms of specifics, nor can we give a date for this release that would be set in stone. But we can confirm that Bazaar will be closely connected to the Tag Team Arena! Further information will become available in future Update Highlights and news.
  • Of course, we would not want to leave our players without a reward in the meanwhile. Therefore everyone who participates in Tag Team Arena Battles will receive a special prize at the end of the testing period when Bazaar goes live. Like in the Classic Arena, the value of these prizes will depend on the Tier they’ve managed to reach.
  • Keep an eye on the news, we will release a separate article detailing the rewards that Raiders will receive for their participation in the Tag Team Arena in Update 2.0!

(2020-04-29) Patch Notes V1.15

Update 1.15 approaches, and we have another batch of smaller features and improvements for you to enjoy. From a new Tournament type to endless Clan Boss HP and new Player Levels, we are looking to further increase the overall QoL for all Raiders. Check out the notes below to learn more:

Undying Clan Boss

It has been a good while since the release of Clans. Since then, more Champions were added to the game, more Skills, buffs and debuffs, a whole new Rank of Artifacts. All in all, players received a great many tools of bringing the Clan Boss down faster and more efficiently – which in itself is a good thing. But that also means players are finishing these Battles much faster, and many of their Clanmates have trouble getting their own chance at participating to receive a Clan Boss Chest. To fix that, we are making the Clan Boss ‘unkillable’. The HP milestones will remain, reaching them will grant two chests to all who participated and met the necessary goals, but the Clan Boss Battle itself will remain open to all members of the Clan. That way, even if you are part of one of the Top Clans that can bring the Nightmare Boss down within hours, you can still get your rewards!

Additional Player Levels

This is fairly simple – player profiles will be capped at Level 100 now, go wild! To preemptively answer one of the questions, no, the Energy pool will not increase past level 60. But you will get new rewards for reaching milestones of Levels 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, and 100.

Arena Onslaught Tournament

A new Tournament type will be added to the roster! Battle other players, get Tournament Points for your victories, and earn your prizes amid the scorching sands of the Arena! Keep in mind, this will not be based on the number of medals you receive, and only successful Arena Battles that you’ve initiated will count (Defense will not affect the score either!). Note: Arena Onslaught will not launch on the exact day of the Update. Keep an eye out for additional news in the game and on our social media!

Tournaments With Additional Conditions

Some Tournaments will have specific conditions to complete; they will become available in the near future. Such as defeating Dungeon Levels with Champions belonging to the same Faction or Champions of the same Rarity. Be on the lookout for these special conditions when new Tournaments launch!

Skull Lord Var-Gall

  • Now properly apply Decrease MAX HP to targets under a Shield buff.

Fu-Shan

  • [Howl] now properly displays the Stat that its damage is based on.

Miscellaneous Improvements

  • Gold Tier IV Arena Chest will see a significant reward buff. This change will take effect on May 8th, 2020, but keep in mind that it will not retroactively change the rewards received on Monday that week. Most players will receive the updated chests on May 11th.
  • You will be able to lock or unlock Champions in the Tavern
  • Accessories will have an option to be sold from the Battle Result screen
  • Accessories will be added to Tournament rewards
  • Champions required for an active Champion Fusion will be marked with a special icon. Furthermore, there will be an alert pop-up before these Champions are sacrificed
  • You will be able to sell Artifacts and Accessories from the Battle Result window even if your Storage is full

Lord Champfort

Ma’Shalled

Warchief

  • Brutal Force [DEF] Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Has a 15→25% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn.
  • Marauder [DEF] (Cooldown: 5→4 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Places a [Provoke] debuff for 3 turns. Has a 75% chance of stealing 2 random buffs from the target. → Attacks 1 enemy. Places a [Provoke] debuff for 3 turns. Steals 2 random buffs from the target.
  • Standstill [Passive] Reflects 60% of the damage taken back to the attacker. DEF increases by 10→15% for each dead ally.

Mortu-Macaab

  • Falling from Grace [ATK][HP] Attacks all enemies 2 times. Places a [Block Buffs] debuff for 2 turns on targets under [Heal Reduction] debuffs. Richtoff the Bold

  • Ruination [ATK] Attacks all enemies. Decreases each target’s MAX HP by 10→30% of the damage dealt.
  • Bloodletting [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Places a 5% [Poison] debuff for 2 turns. This debuff cannot be removed. → Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Each hit places a 5% [Poison] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns.
  • Cursehold [ATK] Attacks 1 enemy. Copies on random debuff on the target and places it on all enemies. → Attacks 1 enemy. Critical damage increases by 20% for each Poison debuff on the target. Stacks up to 100%.

Duchess Lilitu

  • Ethereal Ways [Passive] Decreases the damage taken by all allies from AoE attacks by 25% (15% from Bosses). Decreases the damage taken by all allies from AoE attacks by 40% if an ally is under a [Veil] buff (25% from Bosses). → Decreases the damage taken by all allies from AoE attacks by 25% (15% from Bosses). Note: [Veil] buff has its own damage reduction now.

Vergis

  • Aegis Places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff, a 15% [Increase SPD] buff, and a 30% [Reflect Damage] buff on a target ally for 3 turns. Also places a 50% [Ally Protection] buff on the target ally for 3 turns. This Champion will take 50% of the damage inflicted on the target ally. → Places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff, a 15% [Increase SPD] buff, and a 30% [Reflect Damage] buff on a target ally for 3 turns. Also places a 50% [Ally Protection] buff on all allies except this Champion for 2 turns. Places a 60% [Increase DEF] buf on this Champion for 2 turns.
  • Second Wind [Passive] Places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on this Champion for 2 turns every time their HP drops below 50%. → [Passive Effect] Places a [Shield] buff on this Champion equal to 10% of their MAX HP for 2 turns whenever this Champion loses 10% or more of their MAX HP from a single hit. [Active Effect] Places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on this Champion for 2 turns every time their HP drops below 50%.

Oathbound

  • Subjugate [DEF] Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Has a 60% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns. Each hit has a 30% chance of decreasing the Turn Meter by 30%. → Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns. Also has a 55% chance of decreasing each target’s Turn Meter by 20%.
  • Intimidate [DEF] Attacks at random 4 times. Each attack has a 30% chance of placing a [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff for 2 turns. → Attacks at random 4 times. Each attack has a 30% chance of placing a [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff for 2 turns. The chance of the [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff increases to 100% if the target is under a [Decrease ATK] debuff.
  • Base SPD 88→95

Occult Brawler

  • Ruination Ritual [Passive] (Cooldown: 1→0 turn) This Skill no longer has a cooldown.

Leech, Veil and Perfect Veil Buff Skill Changes

Each of these effects is getting a little buff in Update 1.14! Leech will heal the attacker by 18% as opposed to the current 10%. Champions under Veil and Perfect Veil will get a 7,5% and 15% (respectively) damage reduction from all incoming AoE attacks. These changes are going to have a profound impact on other aspects of the game. For example, Champions like Ma’Shalled (who also got buffed on top of everything else, as you can see!) will become even more valuable and powerful thanks to the healing output of [Leech] almost doubling. At the same time, Duchess Lilitu had undergone some changes to ensure the passive AoE damage reduction does not get out of hand, but thanks to [Veil] and [Perfect Veil] changes she will still remain a viable Champion.

Fear Debuff Skill Changes

We took some time to monitor Fear debuffs in game and will apply certain limitations in Update 1.14. Like other crowd control debuffs, it will no longer be subject to Increase Debuff Duration or Spread Debuffs effects. This applies to the Master Hexer and Sniper Masteries as well, they will no longer increase the chances of applying Fear or True Fear debuffs. The following Masteries will now affect or include Fear or True Fear: Opportunist, Mighty Endurance, Wisdom of Battle, Harvest Despair, Deterrence, Fearsome Presence, Merciful Aid.

Artifact Filter

We are adding a new system of filters to the Inventory which will allow you to find specific Artifacts you need much faster. As you can see, Artifacts can be sorted by Type or by Stats – whether Primary Stats or Substats – or even a combination of filters. This will be particularly useful to veteran players, who have hundreds upon hundreds of various Artifacts lying around in the Storage.

Champion Collection Capacity Increase

Good news, everyone! The innkeeper’s been buried in letters to expand due to the influx of new Champions for a while now, and he’s finally working on building a whole new wing of the Tavern. We expect it to be completed by the time Update 1.14 goes live and to double the number of Champions that can stick outside the Champion Vault! That is, 200 Champions once all the slots have been unlocked.

Clan Boss Counter

To ensure you guys have an easier way of tracking the damage your teams deal to the Clan Boss and planning your next move, we are going to add a counter to the Clan Boss Battle. It will display the number of Turns that the Demon Lord has taken and the damage that your team dealt.

Miscellaneous

Fusion menu will display Champions who are required for a specific Fusion but are locked away in the Champion Vault, making it easier to see whether or not you have the required components.

Faction Wars

The improvements to Faction Wars are twofold and will touch upon the difficulty of certain Crypt Stages and the drop rates of various Glyphs. Even with the recent changes, we are always monitoring your feedback closely and comparing it with game metrics available to the Dev Team. With that in mind, we’ve decided to make all Faction Crypts a bit easier to complete starting from Stage 8. In addition, we are lowering the drop rates of Rank 2 Glyphs from Stages 10-12 and will completely remove them from Stages 13-14. Glyphs of Ranks 3 and 4 will get increased drop rates.

Arena Platinum Tier (Minor)

Starting from Update 1.14, we are going to introduce a small change to how battles in Platinum Tier work. After fighting the same opponent 10 times in a day (24 hours) – both victories and defeats count – every subsequent battle with that opponent will trigger a 15 minute cooldown that will not disappear after the Arena List is refreshed. What this means is that you will not be able to fight the same opponent until the cooldown runs out, though you will be able to fight others on your list. We’ve included this change to somewhat limit the ‘farming’ of weaker opponents for Arena Points.

Clan Boss (Revive changes)

This is really a continuation of the changes we introduced in 1.13. Starting from turn 50, the Demon Lord will apply a Block Revive debuff to all Champions he kills. This is done to even the playing field between various teams and ensure there is no single “must have” team composition that is required for this challenge.

  • Lethal Winter [Passive] (Cooldown: 1 turn) Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 25% and instantly activates the Death’s Majesty Skill whenever this Champion or an ally receives a [Freeze] debuff.

Cillian the Lucky (Banner Lords: Legendary Attack Magic)

  • Head Ringer [ATK] (Cooldown: 3 turns) Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 100% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff for 1 turn. Has a 40% chance of placing the [Stun] debuff for 2 turns instead and stealing 50% of the target’s current Turn Meter. Resets the cooldown of this Skill if the target is killed.
  • Charmed Life [Passive] Places one of the following buffs on this Champion for 2 turns at the start of each turn: a 50% [Increase ATK] buff, a 30% [Increase C.DMG] buff, a 30% [Increase C.RATE] buff, a 25% [Strengthen] buff, or a [Block Damage] buff.
  • Aura Increases Ally ATK in all Battles by 25%.

Skill Update

Frozen Banshee

  • Frost Blight: Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 10% chance of placing a 25% [Poison Sensitivity] debuff for 2 turns. The chance increases by 10% for each debuff on the target. → Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 25% [Poison Sensitivity] debuff for 2 turns.

Platinum Tier Rewards

Available starting 16.03.2020. As of Update 1.13.5, Platinum Tier Rewards are going to be separated into 3 different sub-tiers to better reward competitive Arena players. These ‘sub-tiers’ will be based on the player’s place in the final rating: Ultra Platinum Chest. 1st – 3rd Places / Super Platinum Chest. 4th – 20th Places / Platinum sub-tier Chest. 21st – 300th Places. Four new Player Profile avatars will be available in Ultra and Super Platinum Chests, worthy of both the stalwart servants of Lumaya and the brutal minions of Siroth. And to further denote success in the Platinum Tier, players who take first place will receive a Badge of Honor that will be displayed on their profile and show how many times they managed to battle to the very top of the Arena.

Furthermore, Platinum Tier Chests will contain brand new Artifact Sets:
Swift Parry Set (4) : SPD +18%. C. DMG +30%. 50% chance to get Unkillable for 1 turn when hit with a fatal hit.
Deflection Set (4) : HP +20%. DEF +20%. 25% chance to deflect 1 debuff onto the attacker when a debuff is placed on the wearer.

Affinity Dungeons and Potions

To make Ascending Champions easier and ensure running Affinity Keeps is worth it, we have significantly increased the number of Lesser Potions that players obtain in a single Leser Potions drop. This change takes effect in the later stages of Affinity Keeps (starting from Stage 12). For example, you could obtain between 3 and 7 Lesser Potions from Stage 15 of the Affinity Keep; as of this update, you will never get fewer than 7 Lesser Potions on Stage 15.

Miscellaneous and Bugfix

  • Speed hack fixed

  • Yannica’s 3rd Skill, Elven Judgement, has been fixed and now can score Critical Hits as normal

But even those whose power has not yet bloomed to its fulest potential will find that undertaking the Arbiter’s tests will not be without benefit. Battle Pass

Battle Pass is a new feature that encompasses a variety of Daily and Weekly Challenges that all players of Level 5 and above will be able to access. Completing these challenges and gathering Battle Pass Points will allow you to increase your Battle Pass Level. That. in turn. earns rewards that include resources. Shards. Champions. and even unique avatars to distinguish your player profile. Keep in mind that Battle Pass Challenges and Rewards are only available when a Battle Pass Season is active. If you forget to collect your points and rewards manually. don’t worry – they will be applied to your account automatically (except XP Boosts. which will go to the Inbox for 100 days).

2 Types of Battle Pass:

  • Core: Available to all players automatically. With the Core Battle Pass. you can earn Battle Pass Points by taking part in Daily Chalenges – and you can win Core Battle Pass Rewards. You cannot get Rewards tor Weekly Challenges or claim Gold Battle Pass Rewards.
  • Gold: Needs to be purchased at the Shop. allows you to do everything the Core Pass does. but also allows you to complete Weekly Challenges and win the awesome Gold Battle Pass Rewards. On top of that it also gives you a special Seasoniong Raid Boost that gives you extra Silver and XP from all Battles.

2 Types of Challenges:

  • Dally Challenges are open to everybody. You get 4 new Challenges every day, which reset at 00:00 UTC and are replaced by new ones – regardless of whether you completed them or not.
  • Weekly Challenges give you the chance to earn even more Battle Pass Points and win even better Rewards. You’ll even get an extra Reward if you manage to complete all the Weekly Challenges. Weekly Challenges become available each week in the order set during the Battle Pass Season. You will still be able to complete Challenges from the previous weeks for as long as the Season is active.   • Poison Sensitlvity is a debuff that increases the damage taken from the Poison debuli by the recipient. Can increase the damage taken by 25% or 50%.
  • Decrease C.RATE is a debuff that decreases the Critical Rate of the recipient Can decrease C.Rate by 15% or 30%
  • Decrease C.DMG is a debuff that decreases the Critical Damage inflicted by the recipient. Can decrease the damage inflicted by 15% or 30%.

Buffs

  • Strengthen is a buff that decreases the damage inflicted on the recipient. Can decrease the damage taken by 15% or 25%.
  • Increase ACC is a buff that increases ACC of the recipient. Can increase ACC by 25% or 50%.
  • Increase C.DMG is a buff that increases the Critical Damage inflicted by the recipient. Can increase the damage inflicted by 15% or 30%.

  • Baffling Speed [ATK] (Cooldown: 4 turns): Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 75% chance of placing a [Perfect Veil] buff on this Champion for 2 turns if this attack is critical. → Attacks 1 enemy. Places a [Perfect Veil] buff on this Champion for 3 turns if this attack is critical. Grants an Extra Turn.
  • Elven Judgement [ATK] (Cooldown: 5 turns) Attacks all enemies. Decreases their MAX HP by 25% of the damage inflicted. Attacks all enemies. Will ignore [Shield] buffs. Removes [Shield] buffs from targets if this Champion is under a [Veil] buff or [Perfect Veil] buff, then deals extra damage equal to 15% of the value of the removed [Shield] buffs.
  • Aura Increases Spirit Ally Attack in all battles by 36% → Increases Ally Attack in all battles by 30%

Clan Boss Changes

As of Update 1.13, the Demon Lord will start ignoring Unkillable and Block Damage buffs from Turn 50 (CB’s Turn, that is). Our tests show that teams built around those buffs will still dish out enough damage to match any other composition and will be capable of earning enough points for a Transcendent Chest quickly. The reason for this is as follows – there are teams specifically tailored to be constantly kept under high-end defensive buffs such as Unkillable and Block Damage during the battle. This allowed them to outperform teams of every other composition by a huge margin – we are talking about three times the damage in the best case scenarios on both sides. While this has to change, we acknowledge the effort and time that goes into crafting a team of this calibre and performed thorough tests to ensure they remain on par with other top contenders. This change should eliminate the unintended disparity between various teams used in the Clan Boss battles and will still lead to excellent results. We will keep a close eye on how these teams perform post-1.13 and ensure that the changes have gone through without any unforeseen issues. Additionally, players who’ve already received their Rewards for beating the Demon Lord on the certain difficulty during one day, won’t be able to receive this Reward again on the same day in another Clan. This is done to stop the abuse of ‘Clan Hopping’.

Multi-Battle

Multi-battles have seen a significant buff in this Update! Now they will work as follows:
No Raid Card. 30 Multi-battle attempts.
Raid Card. 100 Multi-battle attempts. +20% XP, +20% Silver

Additionally, we are launching a special event in which Multi-battles will be usable in Dungeons for an entire month! This event will be available to all players, Multi-Battle attempts will be shared between Campaign and Dungeon Battles. The overall number will remain the same as described above: 30 for all players and 100 for Raid Card Holders.

Miscellaneous

  • Google Play and Game Center Accounts are now viable to be connected to Raid: Shadow Legends
  • A new alert pop-up has been added to the Tavern and Champion Fusion, warning players about sacrificing Champions who have Artifacts or Accessories equipped
  • A number of Passive Skills received visual animation
  • Artifact Upgrade animation increased by 50%

  • Last Breath: Decreased cooldown (from 6 turns to 4).
  • Valorous [Passive]: Now places an [Unkillable] buff on this Champion for 1 turn if incoming damage exceeds 15% MAX HP in one attack (was 30% MAX HP).

Azure

  • Basic SPD increased from 87 to 97.

Basher

  • Splintering Bash: Increased debuff chance: Now has a 75% chance of placing a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns (was a 30% chance).
  • Stinging Blast: Is now guaranteed to increase the cooldown of all the target’s skills by 1 turn (was only if the target had a [Block Buffs] debuff).

Bushi

  • Added Aura: Now increases Ally SPD in the Arena by 20%.

  • Ice Bolt: Decreased cooldown (from 5 turns to 3).

Galkut

Souldrinker

  • Raining Fire: Now decreases [Bomb] debuff detonation countdowns by 1 turn (was only if the target had a [Poison] debuff).
  • Magma Blast: Increased debuff chance: Now has a 75% chance of placing a [Bomb] debuff that detonates after 3 turns (was 50%).
  • Set Ablaze [Passive]: Increased debuff chance: Now has a 100% chance of placing two [Bomb] debuffs on each enemy that detonate after 2 turns when this Champion dies (was 80%).

Torturehelm

  • Bloodlust: Damage increased.
  • Unkillable [Passive]: Now revives this Champion with 50% HP when killed (was a 50% chance to revive).

  • Undying Fury: Now heals this Champion by 100% HP (was 30% HP).
  • Overpower: Damage is now proportional to this Champion’s MAX HP (was current HP).

Arena Platinum Tier

The time has come for Teleria’s mightiest warriors to meet in battle once more. This time, the bravest, most skilled fighters will prove their worth and join an elite Platinum Tier of the Arena, which will only have a limited number of slots! Let us explain how that works. The Platinum Tier has 300 positions – no more, no less – as of Update 1.12 (though that might change in the future, we are going to observe how players perform). Once Arena Points reset, the first player to go over 3200 Arena Points will earn their place in the Platinum Tier, then the second player, and so on until all 300 slots are filled. After that happens and the next player (let us call them Player A) goes over 3200 Arena Points, the game will compare their final score against that of the player currently holding the last position in the Platinum Tier (they will be Player B). If Player A’s overall score is lower than or equal to Player B’s, nothing happens and they remain in Gold IV. But, should it exceed Player B’s overall score, that player will be expelled back into Gold IV and Player A will take their place. When Arena Points reset, all players return to Gold IV with 2900 Arena Points as usual. Needless to say, Platinum Tier offers greater rewards, so the effort will be worth it!

New Campaign Difficulty

You heard that right! Nightmare Campaign Difficulty is now available to all players who have completed the Campaign on Brutal. It will challenge your Champions like never before, but the rewards that can be won are also greater! And we are not talking about experience and Silver alone. As with previous Difficulties, Nightmare Campaign comes with a brand new and untouched Campaign Stars pool, meaning that completing it for the first time will provide some awesome one-time rewards if you can earn enough Stars!

Faction Wars Rebalance

As always, we have kept a close eye on player feedback ever since Faction Wars were released. And one of the most frequently cited issues with this feature has been its high difficulty. As such, we went ahead and rebalanced some of the Stages to make them more manageable. Mind you, this is not going to turn into a walk in the park, but strong teams should have an easier time pushing further into their respective Crypts! In addition, we’ve removed Rank 1 Glyphs from Stage 10 and 11 rewards, ensuring you get Rank 2s at the very least starting from that point. We will keep an eye on how different players perform with these changes to make sure it is all working as intended. You are welcome and encouraged to provide feedback after you’ve had a go at Faction Wars once again!

Soulless

  • Reign of Terror: Attacks all enemies. Increases the duration of all debuffs on the target by 1. Places a [Shield] buff on this Champion for 2 turns to 30% of damage dealt. The damage increase by 10% per each debuff on the target. → Attacks all enemies. Increases the duration of all debuffs on each target by 1 turn, then places a [Provoke] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Places a [Shield] buff on this Champion for 2 turns equal to 30% of damage inflicted. Damage increases by 10% for each debuff on the target.

War Mother

  • Cry Havoc: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has a 30% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns. → Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit places a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns.

Mastery Scrolls Purchase For Gems

As of Update 1.12, it will be possible to max out Mastery Scrolls for a chosen Champion at the cost of 800 Gems. The price does not change no matter how many Scrolls the Champion has at the time of the purchase. This can be done at any point (unless the Champion’s Scrolls are already maxed out, then the purchase is not available), but keep in mind that the Champion will still need to reach Rank 6 to use the highest tier Mastery.

Miscellaneous

  1. Additional 100 slots have been added to the Champion Storage and can be unlocked with Silver or Gems
  2. Pre-Battle selection menu now allows using Champions who are currently in the Champion Storage (they will be removed from Storage and require free slots in the Tavern)
  3. A confirmation pop-up has been added to the Inventory, ensuring Artifacts won’t be destroyed without the player being absolutely certain
  4. A Server Maintenance Alert Window has been added
  5. Artifact Inventory has undergone thorough optimization, and an additional 200 slots have been added
  6. Fusion now allows the use of Champions of higher Rank than is specifically required (you can use Rank 5 Champion even if Fusion requires them to be Rank 4)
  7. Players who manage to take top places on the Tournament Global Leaderboards will receive additional rewards now!
  8. Multi-Battle will no longer remove Max Level Champions that are selected for the Team before the Battle starts (to allow players without a single powerful farmer an easier time using this feature)

Valkyrie

  • Stand Firm: Shield value significantly increased.

Altan

  • New Skill Aura: Increases Ally DEF in all battles by 33%

Errol

  • Helmbreaker: This attack has an extra 30% chance to deal a Critical Hit.
  • Negation: This attack has an extra 30% chance to deal a Critical Hit.

Angar

  • Infuriate: [Provoke] is now applied for 2 turns
  • Bravado: If an enemy with a [Provoke] debuff attacks, has a 50% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff on them for 1 turn. Each hit taken will reduce damage taken by 4% (up to 20% in one round).

Turvold

  • Crackling Blade: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Has a 55% chance of placing a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns.

Warchief

Steel Bowyer

  1. Void Shard Summoning Chances have been adjusted and brought up to match those of the Ancient Shard
  2. Minor changes to the Artifact Upgrade Events will be implemented to streamline the process and make it more convenient
  3. An option to delete an equipped Artifact has been added. The Artifact is lost, but removing it costs no Silver
  4. An option to open a specific Affinity Keep for 24 hours has been added. It costs 200 Gems for Magic, Spirit, and Force Keeps. And 300 Gems for the Void Keep
  5. Adjusted the Multi-Battle Champion queue to make it more convenient for the players
  6. Artifact Drops adjusted, High-Rank Legendary Artifacts are far more likely to drop from later Stages in the Dungeons (while Rare Artifacts drop rate has been decreased for those Stages). Earlier Stages have a decreased drop rate for High-Rank Legendary Artifacts
  7. Shaman, Jizoh, High Khatun, Yagga the Insatiable, and Dark Athel have been removed from the Sacred Shard Summons

Bugfix

  1. Fixed the error that appeared when attempting to sell an Artifact that was just taken from the Inbox
  2. Fixed the error that appeared when attempting to link a Plarium ID of an already existing account to a new account
  3. Fixed Hakkorhn Smashlord’s [Blood Offering] Skill, self-damage is no longer mitigated by the Champion’s DEF
  4. Fixed Zavia’s [Deadly Catalyst] Skill, it applies Block Revive properly now even if the target is killed by Warmaster/Giant Slayer damage

New Buffs: Veil and Perfect Veil

Note: Champions with this ability will become available later. Crafted by the wise and powerful mages, the spell of the Veil takes many forms and applications. But its purpose remains unchanged – it hides the Champion from the eyes of his or her foes, allowing for a perfect strike to be delivered when the time is right. This buff has two tiers: Veil and Perfect Veil. The Champion under either of these buffs cannot be chosen as a target of an enemy Champion’s Skill. Note: if all remaining Champions on your team have an active Veil or Perfect Veil effect, the enemy will no longer be restricted in choosing a target. In the case of basic Veil, the effect will be immediately lifted if the Champion uses a Skill that deals damage.

With the exception of:

  • Damage inflicted by the Skill that applies [Veil] (if applicable)
  • Passive damage
  • Damage that “Does not count as a hit”

At the same time, [Perfect Veil] is not affected, no matter what Skills the Champion uses. Thus it allows them to strike with impunity for as long as the buff remains active – or they have a wall of allies to hide behind.

New Clan Boss Difficulty

Taught a humbling and painful lesson by his previous defeats (and having learned that the Champions of Teleria now have access to awesome Rank 6 Artifacts), the Demon Lord returns far stronger and tougher than he was. A whole new Difficult is available to veteran players now, and it brings new awesome rewards. Keep in mind, the balance of previous Clan Boss chests has been adjusted to accommodate for this change.

New Tournaments

Several new Dungeon Tournaments are planned to launch in the coming weeks as part of the regular line up. Heed the words of the Heralds and be ready to prove the strength of your Champions to all of Teleria!

(2019-07-15) Patch Notes v1.09

Greetings from Plarium!

Update 1.9 is live now! While the immediate changes you will see are few, there are a number of features that will become available before 1.10. See the notes below to learn about them – and some of the things we’ve been working on in the meanwhile.

Tournament

Tournaments return to Teleria. Not one, but two are planned to be released in the coming weeks. These will not be the same as the original Tournament you’ve seen, however. Keep an eye on the in-game news and announcements. In due time, more information will be revealed!

Champion Fusion

Ever since Fusion was released, the Community’s request was clear – temporary events may be good and well, but additional Champions that will remain a permanent option are sorely needed. That was always the plan, but now is the time to make the first step. So, before Update 1.10 is released, an Epic Champion will be added to Fusion.

New Champions

Another Champion pack is being prepared. They will be joining the forces of Teleria before 1.10 hits as well, and a separate Spotlight will be released to herald their arrival.

Bugfix

  • Fixed the bug causing a temporary loss of Gems when entering the Market
  • Fixed the bug causing a loading “spinner” to appear whenever an Artifact upgrade is attempted
  • Artifact Challenges that were changed in 1.8 but remained bugged are now fixed
  • Multi-Battle bug causing an incorrect reward window to appear has been fixed as well

Things To Come

Road Map For Upcoming Features: Update 1.9 is a small one, but it is not so because work has been halted or delayed. Numerous features – some major, some smaller – are nearing the end of their development, and many more are in the pipeline. To give our players a better understanding of what we are planning to release and in approximately what order, we are creating a Developer Road Map. It will be posted in all our communities, so be certain to keep an eye out.

Champion Balance

As I relayed many times, Champion Balance is an important article of our Update plans. Though we were unable to go through with it as often as we wanted for a while, we are picking up the pace now. Update 1.10 will see over 10 Champions rebalanced, several long-requested Legendaries among them. See this thread to learn who is definitely on that list and add your own suggestions for future buffs or nerfs!

(2019-05-07) Patch Notes V1.07

Update 1.7is live now! This time, we shifted our focus to some significant Balance adjustments and changes as we prepare for bigger features to be released. However, there are several new additions as well. Let’s take a closer look at what we have in store

New Features

Referral Program

  • Invite your friends to check out Raid: Shadow Legends and gain rewards for their progress. As of Update 1.7, you will be able to refer your friends to the game, and the first 3 will take up special Referred Friend spots on your account. They can be viewed in the Referral Tab of your Bastion and, as these Friends gain progress through the game and gain Account Levels, you will be rewarded. You can collect these rewards in the same tab.
  • If your Friend stops playing the game, it will not block you from receiving the rewards either. They can be removed from the Referred Friends list and a new Friend invited in their stead. However, you can only collect rewards once per slot. Example: if you invite Friend A and they reach level 30, but then stop playing and are replaced, you will not get rewards for Friend B (who’s taken Friend A’s place) reaching Levels 10 and 20.

Progress Missions

Parts 3 and 4 of the Progress Missions are now available. Face down mighty challenges, complete the missions, and claim unprecedented rewards such Legendary Skill Tomes and a Legendary Champion – the Arbiter herself!

Balancing Masteries

Up until now, we have been monitoring Masteries, the way they are used by our players and how Champions with certain set-ups perform. Based on this data, we can start making Balance tweaks to individual Masteries to make the overall experience better. And as upgrading Masteries takes time and effort, we are going to give everyone an opportunity to reset their Champions’ Masteries for free.
Note: This only applies to players who started Raid prior to 1.7 going live. This does not give an extra free reset – if your Champion’s Masteries have never been reset before, you can only reset them for free once.

Miscellaneous

  • Maximum number of Clan Boss Keys a player can hold at the same time has been increased to 2
  • Clan Boss HP decreased by 40% for Easy and Normal Difficulties
  • Clan Boss Chests now drop a single stack of Potions – meaning that only one Reward slot can be taken up by Potions rather than several as it sometimes happened prior to 1.7
  • Champion Vault slots can be increased up to 200 now
  • Divine Scrolls Drop increased in the Minotaur’s Labyrinth
  • Unkillable, Block Damage, Revive on Death, Stun, Sleep, Freeze, Provoke are no longer affected by Increase Buff/Debuff Duration effects
  • Damage caused by the [Reflect Damage] buff now ignores DEF
  • Numerous Champions had their Base or Ascended Stats very mildly adjusted
  • Victories in Gold I Tier now grant 2 Gold Medals instead of 1
  • All Bosses now have increased Debuff Accuracy and Debuff Resistance
  • All Affinity Keeps will be available to new players for 7 days after the account has been created. After that, Affinity Keeps will be available as per the normal schedule.

Bugfix

  • Counterattack is no longer triggered by reflected damage
  • Fixed the issue that caused certain status effects (buffs and debuffs) to affect the damage dealt by [HP Burn] and [Poison]
  • Increase Champion’s Level in the Tavern 3 times Daily Mission had a bug that allowed it to be closed by increasing a Champion’s level in Battles, it was fixed
  • HP Burn and Poison damage are no longer affected by the [Weaken] debuff.
  • Numerous minor bugs fixed

    Souldrinker has gotten a buff on his a3 cooldown too, it was 6 turns unbooked on release. When did this happen?

    @matti: Minaya’s Beauty Alure skill upgrade adds +20% Heal. Therefore, her base healing which is 40% is multiplied by 20% results in 8% additional heal. Formula: (40 x 20/100 = 8). The total healing will be 40% base heal + 8% additional heal from skill upgrade = 48%.

    No. This is not how this works. Sadly, the percentages get added based on the base 40% in the same way as the mastery “lore of steel”

    There is a mistake in the seer description. The chance to sleep is increased by buff removal, not debuff.
