This section covers various Warmaiden build specialized for specific areas in Raid Shadow Legends.
Warmaiden All-Rounder Build
Here is Warmaiden artifacts and masteries by Ayumilove optimized as a debuffer champion for Arena, Dungeons, Faction Wars and Doom Tower Secret Rooms. She is equipped in Divine Life, Offense and Accuracy Set to provide her with additional Health, Attack and Accuracy Stats. The main stats to prioritize on Warmaiden are Speed, Accuracy and Health, so she can begin the battle first to inflict her Decrease Defense debuff, have ample amount of Accuracy to land her debuff successfully and sufficient health to tank the damage from enemies. If you have decent quality artifact substats, then you can focus on boosting her Critical Rate, Attack and Critical Damage stats to enable her to deal some damage. The masteries selected for Warmaiden are Offense and Support mastery tree. Offense mastery tree provides additional damage boost to her as she will be mainly used for raiding dungeon bosses during early-mid game. Support mastery tree supplements her with more Accuracy stats as well as extending her debuff duration.
Warmaiden Review
Warmaiden is a Rare Attack Magic champion from Barbarians faction in Raid Shadow Legends. Warmaiden is farmable from The Deadlands (Campaign Stage 9) and can also be summoned from Mystery Shards and Ancient Shards.
Warmaiden is extremely valuable during the early-mid game as she can inflict AoE Decrease Defense debuff with her Crumbling Blast (A3 Skill). This allows your team to deal more damage to the enemies, and potentially wipe them out in the first turn! She synergizes well with your starter champion (Kael, Athel, Elhain, Galek) to unleash their full damage potential as an AoE damage nuker. She is commonly paired with High Khatun in Arena to boost her Turn Meter to go second in the battle to apply the debuff followed by the damage dealer.
Overall, Warmaiden is a great champion who can be used from early-mid-late games to farm Dungeon 1~25 and clear difficult content such as Faction Wars and Doom Tower Secret Room. She is a great addition to your arsenal, especially for F2P (Free to Play) players who have a limited amount of decent heroes, to begin with.

Which (who) do you recommend as her eventual replacement–a champ that brings an aura or at least 2 of her abilities to the table?
even ranked up to 60 and booked out she is not that good. Better out there. save your books for an end game character.
Just reached lvl 50 with her (have 4 or 5 dupes from running Campaign-9) and want to know: “which lego or Epic replaces her Def-down and Attk-up? I’ll primarily use her replacement in Arena, Tag-Team, Floors and (boosted; weekly) dungeon runs. Oh–and Thank You, Ayumi!

@tim Orzech 80 from Great Hall explains the 80 extra resistance. The player sharing most likely had a lot of great hall areas max’d out.
How does the resistance come out to 162 on the above build? I only see a value of 52 on the gear?

You can’t compare her to epics or legendaries. I have a pay-to-win account that she has become food in, but in my FTP accounts, she always takes a place early to mid game.
By herself, her numbers don’t mean much. But placing %60 decreased defense on the entire wave makes whatever starter you have (Kael) nuke like no tomorrow.
You have to do the smallest amount of speed tuning to ensure that she goes before your starter and then you will see that the synergy plows through content that none of your F2P characters could do before.
Alot of pros – cons for War maiden. I don’t think she is overall special but I have finally booked her out for free playing the Deadlands until I achieved enough war maiden drops. Have her at level 5, but don’t think Ill upgrade to 6 unless nothing else when the time comes. Just played Deadland s on brutal to max out and level up 2’s through 6’s to keep and the 2-4’s for food of course.

I trash Warmaidens daily, I just don’t see it. based on pure math I have several champs that can do what she does but with higher numbers.
Every now and then I visit pages like this to entertain the idea of using her but then again I check the numbers and they do not match up.
I’m currently trying to tackle Fire Knight 13 to get that last shard from challenges and he name pops up yet again but I still just cannot see it! The only way I see her being useful is if the rest of your champs are terrible.
Trust me Cameron you did the right thing, reason why I say that is because she is in my dragon 20 team. Just make sure she has good support behind her.
@Matt, her nuke has .65 less of a multiplier compared with Kael who is a common early game nuker, but her attack is a decent bit higher so will scale better. that being said, she was my second 60 star and still finds use from time to time and is a mainstay on a 3v3 team due to the “horrendous” damage that consistently wipes teams on her own…..
What stage is the best stage to get duplicate warmaidens? I have been farming the last stage and havent gotten her yet.

So first she’s overrated and then you compare her to epics, if you gear her right and get a good team with her she’ll destroy you.
Easily the most overrated champion in the game, and not worth the 50,000+ energy it can take to farm enough dupes of her.
Her debuff is great, true, and she may be the only rare who can do it with 100% chance… but that’s just it. She’s the only RARE who can do it; there are dozens of epics who can. Not only that, but the debuff isn’t even necessary for the early to mid game; and beyond the debuff, her damage is HORRENDOUS. Perhaps they made her multipliers so awful, to account for her own debuff… but they didn’t do that for the epics and legendaries with better debuffs.
In my opinion, after having invested in her, due to others’ advice, I would not spend all that time to get one again, unless I happened to get one early.
Huh, I didn’t know people liked Warmaiden this much. I see her in arena teams all the time but she always seems so weak to go up against. I’m more worried about the nukers and the revivers.

I had the exact same hesitation, and since I’m early/mid game, I decided to go with Warmaiden, because she’s easier to book (grinding The Deadlands) and it’s essential for those champions to be fully booked. This way, I can keep my 15 epic books – a very scarce ressource in the early stages of the game – for someone else.
Besides, being Force Affinity, Warmaiden is a good complement to Kael in Arena offense, unlike Armina who’s Magic as well.
I still use Armina (at lvl 40) in Tag Team Arena, and I will fully level and book her later on.

You should almost certainly not invest in Warmaiden with the intention of replacing Armina as they pretty much fill the same role and Armina brings more debuffs to the table. The only time it might actually make sense to use Warmaiden is 3v3 arena and that’s only because Armina is already on another 3v3 team. She’s good, but you should probably do yourself a favor and save the resources.

It depends on how much your time is worth and whether you can beat Minotaur-15. If you can beat that stage, it’s cheaper to do it manually and buy refills when you run out of energy. At level 14, it’s generally not worth it uness you’re desperate for coins and have a lot of free time. At 13 and under, it’s cheaper to buy them. And in case you don’t know, the price is 800 gems whether you need 1 scroll or 1000 scrolls so its not cheaper to grind the easy scrolls and buy the hard ones.
Regardless, I would book her first. It takes a while if you have to grind deadlands and she’s much more effective booked. Plus, by the time you’re done, there’s a chance you could summon something that’s more useful right now. Long term, you’ll probably be doing it anyway since since she’s really useful in arena and faction wars.
I am on a F2P account, and have a 6* Warmaiden, should i spend 800 diamonds for her masteries?

I have a 4 star warmaiden and a a 5 star armina, is it worth investing in warmaiden because it seems like armina is better
I’ve played 100+ rounds of The deadlands while levelling food. I’ve had 4 Warmaiden drops. I went 50 rounds with no drops and then two within 5 rounds of each other. Gonna keep using deadlands on brutal to level up food until I have her fully booked.
@Cheesecurd i can’t really say yes or no to this but ive been farming on Brutal and have only had 2 maybe 3 drops over months it could be bad luck on my part or that she just has a really low drop rate (im guessing a little of both)
im not really looking for her myself im leveling food getting gear to sell and while im at it i do need to book her so im doing it in 9/3 instead of 12/3 as it always pays to do as much as you can with the limited energy we have.
i hope this is some help to you but if anyone else has exact drop rates on her feel free to say as it would be nice to know (someone out there must have worked it out)
When farming for a Warmaiden, is her drop rate higher on hard or brutal runs as compared to normal? Since normal uses 4 energy and brutal uses 8, I’ve been running normal to get twice as many attempts at it. I’m not looking for xp here, just Warmaiden drops.
@monkeymon07 no if you have StagKnight you don’t need warmaden they do the same thing and stag has better stats, you do need to grab a skill in the mastery tree to bring stag up to 100% chance as sadly he only has 95% chance to get the decreased def unlike maidens 100%.
Now that said you can still build her for a second team to use in the tag team pvp as she is still a farmable champ.
I show S3 is 30% Decrease Def Debuff with it fully upgraded, did they nerff her skill?

@Rick: Warmaiden benefits more from Warmaster as this Tier 6 Offense Mastery can deal extra damage to bosses. Once you have gathered sufficient champions to support her in terms of healing and revive, Offense Mastery and Offense Equipment Setup benefits her more as she is Attack Role Champion. For early game players, you can build her as offensive as possible because enemies does not have much defense to rely on. Mid game players, build her as defensive as possible, because the mobs are becoming more difficult to kill in just 1-2 hits. During that time, you will just want to survive and keep landing AoE Decrease Defense. Late game, switch her to full offensive again with some balance defense stats.
Here is my current Warmaiden stats to farm Dragon 20 under 2 minutes: 38K HP, 3.2K Attack, 1.5K Defense, 192 Speed, 100% Critical Rate, 160% Critical Damage, 130 Resist, 238 Accuracy. The mastery used for this champion is shown in the guide above.
Also, if all of your champions are above 180 speed supported by a Speed Booster champion, you will take approximately 2 turns of the enemy turn in Dungeons, hence you would rely less on Defense since you can destroy the enemies faster by putting as much damage to knock them out before they have the chance to counter attack you. However, you will need the gears and the powerful nuking champions to accomplish this.
If we only need her DEF, for her MASTERY why don’t we use support and Defense only, anyone try this set before?

Personally, I would go Crit rate on gloves, ACC on chest, speed boots, then DEF across ALL THREE accessories. Chest and Banner are interchangeable. One go ACC, the other go DEF. As long as she survives with 2000-ish DEF, she will constantly do work for you with those AOE DEF down.
Dear @Axaurina, with all due respect, you are using (gearing) her wrongly. She is mainly good NOT for her damage, but for her AOE strong DEF down that is almost guaranteed to land, something EVEN RHAZIN COULDN’T GIVE YOU. If you don’t have legendaries that give you this utility, Warmaiden is pretty much the next best option. You are not supposed to build primary for damage. Rather, you should go ACC sets with probably 1 speed or DEF set. Get to 200 ACC then start stacking DEF. If you manage to reach high ACC without the banner, go DEF banner to make sure she doesn’t die in dungeons. She is top tier in dungeons that suits her affinity.

I guess you could go with speed x3, but is better to also take advantage of offense.
Basically, the classic combo is
Spirit Host ( +50% att to team)
Warmaiden ( -60% def enemy, and AoE damage buffed by Spirithost))
Kael/Athel/Elhain (AoE att, dmage boosted by Spirithost, and increased further by def reduction)
4th hero up to you. Could be High Kathun/Apothecary/Diabolist can go first than Spirithost, or Relickeeper/Hordin/any finisher that should go last.
If WM goes first, she’ll be missing the 50% att boost, which can be the difference between killing the opponents, or they surviving and turning the battle.

Pretty much all heros are “trash” without being booked. That’s the whole point of the game, getting repeats, and books (and the way they make money).
But Warmaiden can be farmed relatively easy for repeats (basically, books)
Deadlands don’t drop common heros, and there are 2 decent rares. Wichever you get, it’s worth farming for a F2P.
It is also decent stage to farm both exp and silver, if you’re not strong enough for Brutal.
If you’re putting cash in the game, then of course you’ll do much better with Stag Knight, but he too can be considered “trash” unbooked, since he’s even more vulnerable than Warmaiden (against all the main heros -Kael, Athel, etc-) due affinity.
So, no, she’s NOT food at all.
You can’t really define a hero just by his basic stats, much less a hero that can be maxed easily.
If we only really care about her for the defensive debuff wouldn’t be better to gear her with speed X3?
@Axaurina The reason why she is considered high-tier is not because of her damage but because she is the only Rare Champion who has a strong version of Decrease Defense with 100% chance to land when booked up on a 3-turn cooldown. She is farmable in Campaign so she is very accessible.
If you are F2P, you definitely shouldn’t use her as food. Build her with high Accuracy so she can land her debuff ’cause that’s mostly what she’s all about.
I’m sorry but this champion comes with a huge asterisk. It should be made clear she is TRASH until booked up. Her AOE even with tip-top gear does very low damage, the debuff never seems to land when it needs to, and she is FAR squishier than many green heroes.
If you are going F2P this girl is best used for food. Skirmisher is doing more AOE damage than she does at rank 3 level ONE with comparable gear. maybe Warmaiden has been nerfed since this guide but her dps is appalingly low.
It can apparently drop from any of the campaign 9-1 thru 9-7 doesnt matter which one you do maybe a higher chance on 7 but no definitive proof.
In what stage at the Deadlands level is farmable to get Warmaiden quickly?

While it could mean Lore of Steel only affects “Artifact Sets that increase Base Stats by 15%”,
it actually means, that it improves “ALL Artifact Sets (that increase Base Stats)” by 15%.
So every Set Bonus that grants HP, ATK, DEF, SPD, C.RATE, C.DMG, RESIST or ACC is improved by 15%.

Mind you, while Stag Knight’s multipliers on his A2 is low, it is respectably high on his A1, so his single target damage is no slouch either.
If you have the books to skill up Stag Knight, then Stag Knight is almost better than Warmaiden in all ways; he is faster, way tankier, has Decrease Speed, can help allies land debuffs if enemies resist debuffs the previous round (except affinity issues and straight up AOE damage capacity and expensive to book)

@Begone! You need to go first and drop the other team. That’s all she’s about in arena, although she can also deliver some respectable single target damage to help clean up.

Warmaiden somehow for me never performed well. Getting and booking is not so much of a problem, so had her a couple of times. Also, encounter her often in Arena (Bronze IV) is opponents teams. She is always the first to go down, even if I do not attack her directly. Really squishy. I see the rational for getting that defense down, but I never really saw it working…

I my opinion you should never, never book a champion that can be farmed. Those books can be used on some other of your champions. Spend some energy, farm those 13 additional Warmiadens and use your books on other heroes.
As for the Stag Knight V Warmaiden discussion, here are my thoughts.
Stag Knight has more utility. He places not just a 60% Def down but also a 50% Atk down and a Speed reduction.
Warmiaden only has the 60% Def down.
On the other had Warmaiden has higher dmg multiplier, a small poison buff and can do a 50% Atk plus buff on here A2.
So in conclusion Warmaiden is more geared towards doing a lot of dmg where Stag Knight is more a support role. I personally use him in almost every team I have
Hey Nihilism, I’ve got Stag Knight and Warmaiden. Neither is booked. From my standpoint, I can book Warmaiden pretty quickly. She will have a 100% chance (still need accuracy) to drop a big AOE reduce defense. Stag Knight, however, will need tons of books to max out at 95% chance of doing the same AOE reduce defense. For me, I’m going to focus on Warmaiden until I get more books for the upgraded version of her; Stag Knight. For you, I’d say you’re already good with Stag Knight!
Having both Stag Knight (6*, 60, full masteries/booked) and Tayrel (6*, 60, full maateries, partially booked) is she worth using at this point? I kinda skipped over her as I got Stag Knight around the same time and now I’m starting to second guess it.
If we are going to use her for dungeons 15-20, what should her accuracy be at?

@Grank: Warmaiden applies 60% Decrease Defense to allow all the members in the team to deal more damage. It also vastly improve the damage of Warmaster and Giant Slayer (Tier 6 Offense Mastery) against Bosses. To break the Shield faster, use Shield Breaker mastery (Tier 2 Offense Mastery) on Warmaiden.

That’s the point. Warmaiden is BETTER, but still only A Rank.
Why only A Rank and not S Rank?
why is she rated 5 stars in Magic Keep? Magic Keep is about that shield. Warmaiden can’t remove the shield, can’t steal the shield, can’t prevent the shield from being put up, can’t ignore the shield, so what does she bring to the table here?

@Bruuhaha: Warmaiden is much more versatile in almost all categories compared to Aothar. Plus, she is farmable in Campaign. I still use her up to very end game (to complete Arbiter Progress Mission) due to lack of RNG providing good champions opening shards.
Based on her above ratings shouldn’t she be classified as S in rank. Comparing her to other epic heroes of the same current rank(A) and Role(Attack) She has more stars in almost every category. For example Aother is an Epic Attack champion you have listed as an A rank yet doesn’t measure up to your ratings of Warmaiden. I’m not being sarcastic, I use your site everyday and love it just trying to understand your system better or maybe pointing out an error.
I have 3 warmaidens, what should i do with them? Just level up all three?

My novice opinion – build up the one you have and farm more of her for when you need to fuse. Then you can decide when you need to build the one for Justiciar. She’s so valuable for f2p, until you need Justiciar, I’d suggest you build up the one you have for your teams. When you need to do the fusion, getting her to level 30 is 24 runs on Brutal 12-3 (double XP), so once you have a copy it’s really easy to do.
As an aside, my Warmaiden has a Stun set on, and it’s so much fun. In the arena, it’s nice to get the decrease defense and then an extra turn on those stunned champions.

@XuniX: As ALEXANDRE CALDAS DE OLIVEIRA has mentioned, you would want Warmaiden to survive longer in battle as higher level dungeons are much more tougher and deals a lot of damage in 1 hit. To progress for Warmaiden from early-mid game, you can use ATK% (Attack), C.RATE (Critical Rate), C.DMG (Critical Damage) stat gears on her to clear the waves fast since the enemies have low pool of health and defense. Once you want to proceed above Dungeons 14, its recommended transitioning all gears to aid her survivability. This means equipping her with DEF% (Defense) Chestplate, Defense Rings and Necklace with Defense substats. She will be there in the team setup for her 60% Decrease Defense. This is crucial to speed up dungeon runs. She will also need a considerable amount of Accuracy for her debuff to land. For end-game, you need to stack up at least 220 Accuracy for her to successfully land her debuff consistently.
@XuniX you want her alive as much as possible so she can place more debuffs, thats her role in your comp
Why the def% stat on gauntlets in dungeons? Wouldn’t it make more sense to have atk% stat on gauntlets and chestplate, since it is an attack based champion?
@aindril: Warmaiden is useful in both areas in early-mid game (Clan Boss Easy/Normal/Hard and Spider’s Den 1-14) for the 60% Decrease Defense. Try it out and you will be amazed by the results 🙂 I have been using her for a very long time (Level 60 and 6 Star) before I received any decent champion to replace her.

Warmaidan is best farmable champion in the game, she can be part of your teams in almost all content this game have to offer, dungeons, campagna etc..You will definitely not use her in CB. And here’s why:
1. She is attack base champion which means low Def, Even if you want to use her you will need very good gear…. she takes place unnecessarily…
2. All up to Brutal CB you don’t need decrease def… it’s good to have DD but it’s not that important it’s much better to have poisons, sped, decreased attack.. and HP Burn…
All in all F2P, New players, use her she is great champion….

My friend Warmaiden is the first to make the attack in the arena, wouldn’t it be more appropriate to include Ruthless Ambush in place of Whirlwind of Death? because as a first attacker she will not kill anyone?
