The ally joining the attack will use their default skill. The damage dealt by the ally joining the attack will increase by 10% per each debuff on the target.

The Mad Hatter of Teleria is an eccentric sorcerer whose bizarre experiments and unpredictable behaviour have earned him his infamous moniker. Known for his peculiar attire, including a magically fused hat, the Hatter boasts that he is “indeed rather quite mad.” His unconventional methods, involving potions and spells that flout all standard practices, provoke scorn and fear from experts and peers alike. Yet, his chaotic brilliance caught the eye of the Queen of Hearts, who recognised his potential as a useful but non-threatening ally. Overjoyed at her recognition, the Hatter swore unwavering loyalty, symbolised by a key he crafted with her crown as the handle and tied to his hat.
The source of the Hatter’s madness is his hat itself, a creation from an ambitious but disastrous experiment. Years ago, the Hatter ventured into the perilous Lost Isles, seeking the monstrous power rumoured to dwell within the great volcano known as the Throat. There, he encountered the mind-bending Demon Lord, whose reality-warping influence shattered the Hatter’s sanity and bound the enchanted hat permanently to his head. This encounter irreversibly altered his perception and approach to magic, fuelling his imagination and driving his unique, chaotic innovations.
The Hatter’s creations reflect his unorthodox genius. His most notable tools include a clawed staff with a rotating cauldron and a sentient, highly vocal teapot. Far from being a mere kitchen item, the teapot actively participates in the Hatter’s experiments, offering ingredient suggestions, cracking crude jokes, and even heckling strangers. Together, they devise potions through randomised methods, such as drawing cards to determine quantities or timing their brews based on the time of day in distant regions. This unpredictable process ensures that each creation is as unique as it is bizarre.
Despite his erratic methods, the Hatter remains deeply devoted to the Queen of Hearts, even aiding her in her grand ambitions. It was he who revealed the existence of a powerful insectoid force in Durham Forest, knowing she would want to harness its potential. In return for his loyalty, the Queen allowed the Hatter to contribute to the construction of her palace, crafting whimsical yet grandiose spaces such as a chessboard-inspired court hall. The Hatter, ever the opportunist, was thrilled at the chance to explore Durham, dreaming of the magical concoctions he could create with the rare flora and fauna of the region.
In the end, the Hatter’s madness is his greatest asset and deepest curse. His boundless creativity, untethered by reason or convention, fuels his magical pursuits, but it also isolates him from others. Yet, in the Queen of Hearts, he found a figure who embraced his peculiarities, giving him a sense of purpose in his otherwise chaotic existence.
