Alice the Wanderer’s journey is a tale of rebellion, determination, and a destiny intertwined with the fate of Teleria. Declared as the loyalty reward champion for January 2025, Alice stands as a symbol of unwavering resolve, tasked with taking down the Queen of Hearts, a vengeful Knight Revenant threatening the land. Armed with a longsword infused with poison and forged by the Sacred Order, her weapon reflects the balance of precision and lethality she brings to every battle. Despite her noble lineage, Alice chose the path of an inquisitor over a sheltered life, fueled by her thirst for freedom and vengeance. Her relentless pursuit of the Queen has taken her to the perilous depths of Durham Forest, where her abilities shine as a beacon of hope against the forces of darkness.

Alice’s combat abilities combine precise, high-impact damage with unparalleled crowd control, making her a formidable asset in any battle. Her Vorpal Sword (A1) strikes twice, with an additional hit against enemies whose skills are on cooldown. Each strike carries an 80% chance to reduce the duration of a random buff, giving her an edge in dismantling enemy strategies. Her Clockwork Cyclone (A2) takes control to another level, unleashing an AoE attack that increases all enemy skill cooldowns by two turns while reducing their Turn Meters by 15% or by 30% if their cooldowns are maxed. This skill is pivotal for disrupting enemy teams, controlling their actions, and maintaining dominance in challenging battles, especially against powerful bosses like the Eternal Dragon.

Alice’s ultimate ability, Queenslayer (A3), solidifies her role as an executioner of key threats. By ignoring 20% of a target’s DEF, Alice ensures devastating damage to her enemies. If the initial target falls, the attack chains to the weakest enemy, doubling the devastation while maintaining her precision. Her Tick Tock (Passive) ability amplifies her combat prowess, dealing bonus damage based on how many turns remain on an enemy’s cooldowns. This passive not only punishes enemies whose skills are delayed but also resets one of Alice’s own abilities upon securing a kill, allowing her to cycle through her most impactful skills seamlessly. Topping it off, her Aura, which increases ally ATK in all battles by 30%, enhances her team’s offensive capabilities, making Alice indispensable in any formation.

Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Places an extra hit if the target has any active skills on cooldown. Each hit has an 80% chance of decreasing the duration of a random buff on the target by 1 turn.

Clockwork Cyclone (Cooldown: 4 turns)
Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of increasing the cooldowns of all enemy skills by 2 turns. Also has a 75% chance of decreasing the target’s Turn Meter by 15%. If at least on of a target’s skills has its cooldown increased to the max, decreases their Turn Meter by 30% instead.

Alice the Wanderer Champion Lore Synopsis

Alice’s life took an unexpected turn when her parents sent her to live with the Sacred Order during her early teens. Born into a minor noble family without a male heir, her family lacked the means to arrange a proper marriage and dowry for her. Their decision, meant to provide Alice with safety and a stable future, filled her with resentment. Though her faith in Lumaya was strong, she felt little attachment to the Order. Alice’s rebellious nature, fierce independence, and insatiable curiosity often put her at odds with the Order’s strict rules, leading to frequent reprimands. Despite this, she found comfort in the Order’s vast libraries and combat training, which fed her thirst for knowledge and honed her fighting skills.

Amid her studies, Alice’s fascination grew for the mysteries of the world, especially Durham Forest—a sprawling, dangerous expanse filled with creatures of legend. She yearned to explore it and live a life beyond the confines of chapels and barracks. Rejecting the paths of priesthood and soldiering, Alice chose to become an inquisitor, a decision that would forever alter her destiny. Her new role soon thrust her into an unexpected quest: the hunt for the Queen of Hearts, a vengeful Knight Revenant whose name was unknown to Alice at the time.

Alice’s pursuit began with the interrogation of a K’Lethi cultist, whose cryptic remarks led her down a rabbit hole of ancient texts and forgotten histories. As she delved deeper into the records, she uncovered a shocking connection to her own family. The Queen of Hearts, once betrothed to the prince regent of Kaerok, had been spurned just before her wedding. Consumed by hatred, she orchestrated the ruin of the prince’s descendants and the families allied with him, including Alice’s. This revelation ignited a fire within Alice, and she swore to destroy the Queen, dedicating years to dismantling her cult and her Knight Revenant allies.

Alice’s relentless campaign finally bore fruit when she captured the White Rabbit, a leporid Demonspawn serving the Queen of Hearts. Despite his crude behaviour and defiance, the Rabbit quickly revealed the Queen’s latest plot: a plan to seize the Kaerok throne with the aid of the Insect Lords in Durham Forest. This revelation thrilled Alice, as it gave her a chance to confront her nemesis in the legendary forest she had always longed to explore.

With determination burning brighter than ever, Alice set off for Durham Forest, carrying the foul-mouthed Demonspawn as her prisoner. The prospect of venturing into the forest’s perilous depths, combined with the chance to finally end the Queen of Hearts’ reign of terror, filled Alice with excitement and purpose. Her journey promised to be fraught with danger, but she welcomed it, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

    You know, for some strange reason, I never pictured her as the extremist church-militant type…

    I’m going to try 6 pieces of Merciless on her.
    I’ve had good luck with it with Champions that have Ignore Defense built into an attack (Ninja, Monkey King).
    I get them Helmsmasher Mastery as well.
    That’ll give her A3 50 or 75% Ignore Defense.
    A2 & A2 30 or 55% Ignore Defense

    I’ll follow up once she’s built.

    If I have to be fully honesty, she would go with counter. The ability to strike back at a target after they use a skill, increase its duration and place an extra hit because they used a skill, sounds great for bosses depending on her ratio. Otherwise she is really just about going full damage or savage and never speed so that you can guarantee her cooldown increasing skills do anything at all.

    I’ve got her equipped with Feral, focusing on Speed, Critical Damage, and Critical Rate. Seems to be pretty effective so far. Pairing her with good crowd-control Champions helps a lot. She can deal some damage in the right situation. I’m just playing around with her at the moment. Anyone have any better suggestions at this point?

    I don’t know what her build should be, but the six days leading up gave us a full set of Savage. That might be a clue…at least a place to start.
