Attacks all enemies. Before attacking, equalizes the HP of all enemies. The HP levels of all enemies will be set to the average of the enemy team.
Will ignore 30% of each target’s DEF if the average HP of the enemy team is above 50%. Places an extra hit if the average HP of the enemy team is equal to or below 50%. Increases this Champion’s ATK by 10% per each enemy killed by this skill.

The first hit decreases each target’s DEF by 10% (stacks up to 30%). The second hit destroys each target’s MAX HP by 10% (stacks up to 60%). Grants an Extra Turn if this attack kills an enemy.

Whenever this Champion lands a critical hit, heals them by 5% of their MAX HP. If this Champion’s HP is full, critical hits fill their Turn Meter by 5% instead. Whenever this Champion receives any surplus healing from this skill, places a [Shield] buff on this Champion for 2 turns, equal to the value of the surplus heal. The value of the [Shield] cannot exceed 30% of this Champion’s MAX HP. If there are multiple Champions on the team with this skill, only one will activate. This skill will not activate on duplicate copies of this Champion, if this particular Champion is dead.

Grugtha Darkseer Champion Lore Synopsis

Grugtha Darkseer and her feared Gloom Eaters of Storm wind had become a symbol of madness during the Second Great War. Across the world, stories spread of Ogryn warriors who willingly blinded themselves with boiling tar yet still fought with terrifying precision. Their devotion to the dark god Siroth made them infamous, and even decades later the name “gloom eater” remained an insult used for traitors and fanatics. The account comes from Parvical Lowes, a mage scholar who witnessed their horrors himself after being captured during General Mayal Aalwaen’s disastrous campaign in the Wastes.

Parvical and two other prisoners, a Dwarf and an Orc, were dragged deep underground by the Ogryn cultists. Though surrounded by darkness, the mage secretly cast a spell that allowed him to see. As they descended further into the cavern, he discovered a massive chamber where a bubbling cauldron of black pitch waited without any visible fire beneath it. The clan’s leader, Grugtha Darkseer, stood before her followers and began a savage ritual. She spoke proudly of the pact her people had made with Siroth, explaining how they had burned away their own sight with scalding tar so they could embrace a deeper darkness and devote themselves fully to their god.

According to Grugtha, Siroth rewarded his worshippers with “shadow sight”, a strange gift that allowed them to sense the world despite their blindness. Parvical guessed this power came from a mixture of magic and sharpened senses, though he could not understand its true nature. Grugtha declared that ordinary sight only revealed lies, while darkness alone held truth. Her speech filled the gathered Ogryn with wild excitement. Then, to Parvical’s growing dread, the cultists seized the Orc and the Dwarf and dragged them towards the bubbling cauldron.

The mage desperately searched for a way to escape or rescue the prisoners, but every possibility seemed hopeless. His weapons had been taken, and even his magic would not overcome such a large crowd, especially with Grugtha herself likely possessing mystical powers. Unable to save them, he instead cast a quiet spell upon his companions so they would feel neither fear nor pain. Forced to watch in horror, Parvical saw both prisoners plunged head first into the boiling tar until they died. Afterwards, the frenzied Ogryn tore apart and devoured the bodies, keeping only the tar covered heads as trophies.

While the cultists celebrated their gruesome feast, Parvical realised the chaos gave him his only chance to flee. Using a simple spell, he slipped free from his bindings and crept back through the tunnels with the aid of his magical sight. Though he escaped alive, the memory never left him. He later confessed that no servant of darkness had ever terrified him more than Grugtha Darkseer. Even years afterward, the smell of tar near ships or dockyards filled him with sickness, while nightmares of the Gloom Eaters continued to haunt his sleep.
