Blackhorn is a Legendary Support Water hero from Sylvan Woodlands in Awaken Chaos Era. Blackhorn skills revolve around healing and cleansing allies’ debuff while decreasing the enemy’s damage to prevent his allies from being nuked. Blackhorn was available in Magic Pass Season 1 (Elite Pass Reward) as the reward for completing Tier 30 of 50.
Gaia Spirit is Blackhorn’s unique trait that allows him to heal himself each time he performs any abilities (e.g. basic/special/ultimate), which is useful to recover his health if the enemies are targeting him quickly. The healing capacity provided by Blackhorn is based on his Max Health, hence it’s recommended to build him in high HP to take advantage of this massive healing. His self-healing trait can be boosted from 8% to 15% HP heal upon unlocking Ascension II.
Fun Fact: Blackhorn is one of the boss guarding Stage 73 in Bounty Hunt! To counter his trait, utilize Unhealable heroes such as Hulens to prevent him from healing himself.
Gaia Thorns is his basic attack that deals damage to an enemy while simultaneously applying Attack Down to decrease the enemy damage output. It’s very useful against bosses at higher difficulty as they tend to deal much more single-target and AoE damage to your squad. To enable Blackhorn to apply Attack Down consistently, he will require a sufficient amount of Focus to prevent them from resisting it.
Nature’s Shield is Blackhorn’s special ability where he summons a Totem that provides healing and cleansing every end of the round. It’s one of the best defensive mechanism against enemies who relies heavily on debuff to reduce your squad survivability. Having this powerful cleansing ability, you can easily counter Arcane Dominator bosses debuff such as Roaring Tulpa (AoE Defense Down), Queen of Tides (Stifling Aqua Cage), Ash Magisteria (Flame Bomb), Gemini Dragon (AoE No Positive Effects) and Witch of the Wind (Bleed)! This makes him one of the best carry hero for game progression and clearing end-game content! If Blackhorn was crowd controlled by the enemy, the summoned Totem can be the healer substitute during that period.
Nature’s Revival is his ultimate ability that heals all allies based on his Max Health and applies Heal over Time buff to heal them for another 3 turns. This buff is great supplementary healing against DoT (Damage over Time) such as Poison, Bleed and Ignite from enemies where the massive direct healing is unable to keep your allies in the pink of health at all times. This ability is useful to heal up everyone swiftly after surviving the initial AoE nuke attacks from enemy heroes.
Overall, Blackhorn is an amazing Legendary support hero that is highly recommended to build to overcome roadblocks in end game content such as Void Tower, Bounty Hunt, Endless Trial and farming Arcane Dominator Stage 10 to 12. To unleash his full potential, provide him with an ample amount of Health, Focus, Defense, and Speed stats. Equip him in Revival Set to allow him to self-heal each turn and Terra Set for additional health. This set improves his survivability significantly, especially when the enemy decides to target him as he is the backbone of your team!

Blackhorn Supporter Build
The recommended stats to prioritize for Blackhorn are Health, Defense, Focus, Resistance, and Speed. Focus allows Blackhorn to apply his Attack Down on an enemy to reduce their damage output. Health and Defense stats increases his survivability to tank a few hits from boss AoE nuke attacks. If you are using Blackhorn to raid Witch of the Wind, then high Speed is crucial there to reduce the boss damage against him. Resistance to prevent enemies from crowd controlling him with Taunt, Freeze, and Stun. The best gear for Blackhorn as a Cleanser Healer support hero is Revival Set and Guard Set. Revival Set allows you to quickly recover his health if enemies decide to target him to rapidly break down your team defenses. Guard Set is useful against pre-emptive attacks by enemies, especially in the Arena Speed Nuke team, to mitigate the initial AoE attack damage.
