PINK BEAN CHARACTER EVENT

For a limited time, create a character with the very first Monster Job available in MapleStory—Pink Bean! Tricked into coming to Henesys by his rival, Black Bean, Pink Bean will be available for character creation from August 19 to October 6. Pink Bean uses Strength, and equips Warrior gear. Everyone will receive one character slot in order to create a Pink Bean character. Pink Bean is an event character, meaning that there are limitations to what the class can do. At the end of the event, the Pink Bean character will be removed. To keep fond memories of your time as Pink Bean, players will receive rewards to use on other characters after the event. For more detailed information on the Pink Bean Character Event, click here.

TOWER OF OZ IMPROVEMENTS

Tower of Oz is receiving some new updates to improve the experience of this dungeon for high-level players. It will now target Lv. 140 players and above. Some of the stages will be reordered and have their requirements fine-tuned. Additionally, Stupid Pills will last longer! A weekly ranking will also be added, along with new rewards. The Ring Box reward list will also be overhauled to remove some of the lower consumable items. Now you’ll have a better chance at great rewards!

PARTY QUEST REVAMP

Chryse is returning after a long closure and has been made into a party quest. Up to four players Lv. 75 to 120 can enter as a group. Many other party quests are receiving updates to their rewards, so that you can get better items even quicker. The daily limit for some party quests will be reduced from 10 entries a day to 5, but each run will be more lucrative! Some of the EXP has been increased, and some of the reward requirements have changed. Resurrection of Hoblin King and Kenta in Danger party quests have been redone with new missions and rewards!

MURGOTH DUNGEON

Murgoth Dungeon is making a return! Players Lv. 75 and above can enter up to ten times a day as parties of either 1v1 or 2v2. Once inside, clear rooms of monsters and see which team can find three Soul Shards first! But beware; Murgoth Dungeon is full of monsters which represent the five main jobs of MapleStory. How much damage you inflict will depend on your class! Earn points to exchange for rings, masks and more.

OTHER EVENTS!

How time flies! Place Time Capsules on maps, go hunt monsters around your character level, and your Time Capsule will open to give you a sweet reward. Then help Cassandra pick lemons for her lemonade stand to earn mesos and a store permit! And enjoy the last of the summer with a camping trip. Can you keep away the hungry animals that want to take your food? Earn restorative items, chairs, and medals!

Pink Bean Character Event

A New Hero to the Rescue

MapleStory is full of heroes and legends, but they all pale before the newest, pinkest hero of all – PINK BEAN!. For a limited time, Pink Bean will be available as a special character event. You can create a Pink each character from August 19th to October 6th 2015.

Become the BEAN!~

Normally Pink Bean likes to hang out in the Temple ofT1me, but Black Bean has tricked him into coming to Henesys. Pink Bean is such a unique character. that there is no need to select gender, hair or clothing during creation. Just pick a name to become the bean!

Dominate with the Power of Pink!

Like the Warriors of Maple World, Pink Bean is a mountain of Strength. Use his vast array of skills to show the enemies of Maple World that Pink Bean is not to be messed with!

Pink Powerhouse (Lv. 10)
Hit others with three different tools!

Sky Jump (Lv. 30)
Pink Bean never goes anywhere without its trusty pogo stick, allowing it to jump up high multiple times to deal increased damage each time it lands!

Instant Garden (Lv. 60)
Pink Bean has a green—er, pink—thumb and enjoys growing plants! Now the plants will join the battle!

Let’s Roll! (Lv. 10)
Pink Bean moves faster when it rolls!

Let’s Rock! (Lv. 30)
Pink Bean is a musical genius. Attack enemies by playing different musical instruments. including electric guitar, whistle and megaphone!

Go, Mini Beans! (Lv. 100)
What’s more cute and squishy than Pink Bean? An army of Mini Beans! Each time Pink Bean attacks. the Mini Beans will come to its side and attack as well!

Missions include hunting bosses, gaining levels and just plain old logging in! You can earn titles, damage skins, a Squishy Pink Bean Pet, and more. Complete all of the missions to earn the Holy Pink Beanity title which gives +10 to all stats. +5 to Attack/M. Attack, and 10% additional boss damage! Reach Lv. 100 with your Pink Bean to receive Pink Bean’s Gift Box which contains a medal, a Pink Bean Transformation Potion (become Pink Bean whenever vou want!), and other items.

Murgoth Dungeon Reopens! (2015-08-19 till 2015-09-15)

Wednesday, August 19 to Tuesday, September 15

Murgoth Dungeon makes a return! Players Lv. 75 and above can venture deep into this dungeon to face off against fierce bosses based on the five jobs of MapleStory. Take on the monsters by yourself in 1v1 mode, or join up with others in 2v2 mode.

Once you get inside, your objective is to find three Soul Shards before your opponent or opposing team. They are scattered throughout the dungeon, so you’ll need to hunt for them. But Murgoth is tricky, and the dungeon’s room arrangement changes each time you enter! Not only that, you need to find them all within the time limit! From the moment you enter, you’ll have 30 minutes to find all the Soul Shards and complete the dungeon.

There are three types of rooms in the dungeon. In Soul Rooms, you will be able to find a desired Soul Shard. In Warp Rooms, you have to clear the room of monsters. In Item Rooms, you can find and utilize helpful items. Because your opponent is also searching, you need to try to get to un-cleared rooms before they do.

Within each room, fierce monsters are waiting for you! Each of the monsters represents the five jobs of MapleStory: Warrior, Archer, Magician, Thief, and Pirate. How much damage you can inflict depends on your job versus that of the monster. Once you’ve taken care of all of the monsters, you can open the chest that appears in the middle of the room, and (hopefully) find a Soul Shard.

Earn Murgoth Soul points when you complete the dungeon, which help you to reach different ranks. Whenever you attain a rank, you can receive a reward such as a Soul Enchanter, Reward Points, inventory slot coupons, or a Murgothroid! You can also exchange your Murgoth Soul points for various items from NPC Murgoth or NPC Nine-Tailed Fox. They have both stocked up on hair and face coupons, equip items like Murgoth’s Feather and Spirited Nine Tails, and more!

You can enter up to ten times a day, so make the most of it!
