Best MapleStory Meso Making Methods Guide

If you are wondering how to earn more meso to purchase godly equipment or purchase materials to fund for scrolling or cubing equipment, you have come to the right place! This guide will give you an overview on how senior Maplers earn mesos quickly via grinding to merchant goods. Let’s begin with job!

What are the best MapleStory Job that earns tons of meso?
There are many jobs in MapleStory but which one is the easiest to earn and save most meso? It’s easy to figure them out if the job has a skill (either active, supportive or passive) that: (1) Recovers their HP and MP quickly. (2) Have powerful skill that allows them to defeat multiple monsters in 1 hit. (3) Does not use much HP nor MP while grinding away on monsters. These potential jobs are (Resistance) Demon Slayer, (Sengoku) Kanna, (Explorer) Magician-Cleric, (Nova) Kaiser and (Cygnus) Mihile. Use these jobs to farm meso while grinding at your favorite spot.

Which place is the best to farm meso and drops?
Any place will be great as long as you can defeat all the monsters (close to your level) within the map within 3-4 seconds using your AoE (Area of Effect) Skill. For example, Demon Slayer can use Demon’s Cry that kills 15 monsters in a large area just by standing in the center of the map or jumping abit to reach out towards all monsters located on different platform before casting Demon’s Cry. After you defeat enemies after they spawned 3-4 times, then you loot them all together in one sum. This saves time instead of exiting from your strategic attacking position frequently. Haunted Mansion populated with Twisted Jester is a great place for Demon Slayer to exercise his 4th Job Skill Demon’s Cry over them provided you have great equips to allow 1 hit kill.

Merching
Merching is a word used in MapleStory which refers buying and selling goods or selling goods obtained from monster drops or party quest rewards. You buy items at low prices, and sell when the prices increase. Kill advanced bosses, get the loots and sell.

My way of making money is quite simple:
    – I train, find equips and sell them to NPC or extract them for crystals. The crystals are then used to craft earrings. I mainly aim for 6% earrings, as they sell for quite a bit (sold 2 today for 75m).
    – When I find equips with good potential, I use the Owl of Minerva to get a better understanding for how much I can sell these equipments. Then, I can either decide to scroll the equipments myself (just using spell traces) and sell them or just sell them clean.
    – Regular merching: getting to know the price ranges of certain popular items. For example: Clean Slate Scroll 10%: These drop regularly from Elite Bosses and tend to sell for 25m. I saw one for 20m in FM, bought it straight away and proceeded to sell it for 25m. That’s 2,5m profit 🙂

@SkyScythe: Are you referring to Angelic Blessing Rings? They fetch a high price in Free Market due to its aesthetic looks + stats. Selling recipe to NPC is not profitable as crafting the item and selling to players 🙂

Hey it’s me again,i dislike merching because it really waste a whole lot of time, i checked many places they said they hate merching but farming Angelic Busters Recipe and earrings and stuff, i don’t quite understand, does that mean they were selling it to NPC?

Do you have any ideas on how to make mesos now that drops are severely reduced in Europe? I used to NPC loads of equip for a living 🙁

@Bravean: It’s not a cheat code in MapleStory. Sum here refers to collecting the meso coins/bags/notes when they are several of them dropped on the platform, instead of killing and immediately picking them up (unless its a quest item which you can’t afford to lose it as it might take several tries for it to drop from a particular monster).

Ayumi. Best is to go bossing for eqs 😀 Or to do merching.
-Buy items at low prices, and sell when the prices increase.
-Kill advanced bosses, get the loots and sell.

@shouun: Thanks for your findings posted here! Previously when I used the Steal skill it drops potions. Probably they have changed how it works now.

Hey ayumi, Shadowers have this “unpopular” skill – Steal – which could be used to help them save mesos since it causes monster(s) to drop some “weird” HP/MP pots while training.

These pots auto-heal some amount of the bandit’s HP/MP when being picked up. In a sense, they don’t take up inventory space, and is available when u’re fighting. It’s quite random whether it heals the HP or the MP though, so there may be times you pick up both that charges your HP, but not MP.

I found out about this when I was randomly poking Lucidas. During which, my HP and MP was consistently full. It’s kinda nice to use IMO since Steal is a ranged attack that allows you to hit up to 4 mobs IN FRONT of you.

The bad thing about this is that it has lower damage and range compared to Savage. So you’ll have to be able to put up with the slower training speed and having to patiently pick those potions up (coz it’s definitely slower to pick up pot than spamming pots). The shadower would be better off with a pet.

Hi Hui. As a newbie myself, i think the best character at the moment, for us, beginners and unfunded, is the Demon Avenger. He has so much Health, a Decent Damage and barely needs to use potions.
