Timmons Review
Timmons is an Epic hero from the Lasir faction in Awaken Chaos Era. He wields a ship anchor as his weapon, 2 barrels of oxygen tanks to aid him to breathe underwater, and an ancient armored sea suit to protect him against the deep sea harsh environment where it is cold and high-pressure.
His trait Gallant Assault enables him to perform a joint attack using his ultimate ability whenever his ally attacks an Elite or Boss enemy while the battlefield has 3 or more enemies alive. This makes him one of the best candidates to clear the Fire Imps summoned around the boss in Ash Magisteria. Upon ascending to the fifth ascension, he will then be able to deal additional damage to Fire affinity enemies, which makes him a specialist in that Ash Magisteria Arcane Dominator dungeon!
Timmons’s basic ability Anchor Sweep is his single-target ability that deals significant damage to one enemy and provides a temporary Attack Up boost. This works similarly to Zachary’s basic ability which allows him to deal more damage with his other skills. If you pair him with Eren, Eren can call Timmons to perform a Joint Attack first so he can gain that Attack Up buff before performing his AoE attack.
Timmons special ability Rotting Rust inflicts a debuff that lowers the enemy’s Attack and Defense stats temporarily. This allows your heroes to sustain slightly less damage from the enemy boss attack and improve your team’s damage output against them! You will need to provide Timmons with sufficient Focus stats to enable him to successfully and consistently inflict that debuff.
Finally, Timmons Ultimate ability Marine Fury deals massive damage to all enemies. However, repeated use of this ability within the same round will decrease its damage, making timing and strategy crucial. If you gear him in an Avarice Set, it allows him to deal 50% more damage on the first ultimate cast within that round! However, subsequent ultimate attacks will not benefit from Avarice Set damage boost, which means you need to take down the enemy within the first 2 hits to prevent the enemies from counterattacking.
Overall, Timmons is a niche hero who has unusual conditions imposed on his Trait and Ultimate ability. Hopefully, the developers do reconsider removing the restrictions on the Ultimate ability since he is doing very little damage to the enemies, especially on the Hell mode stages in Ash Magisteria. In addition, the trait also requires modification to reduce the number of enemies alive for it to trigger because all other dungeon’s boss waves have 3 enemies only (1 boss and 2 side minions)
Timmons Skills
Gallant Assault (Trait → Ascension 5)
When an ally attacks an Elite or Boss and there are more than 3 enemies alive, Timmons launches a bonus attack with the Ultimate ability. (Ascension → Timmons’ damage against enemies at an elemental disadvantage is increased by 30%.)
Anchor Sweep (Basic)
Deals % damage to 1 enemy and gains Attack Up for 1 turn.
Level 2: Damage +10%.
Level 3: Damage +10%.
Level 4: Damage +10%.
Level 5: Damage +10%.
Rotting Rust (Special, Cooldown: 3 turns)
Deals 200% damage to an enemy and applies Attack Down and Defense Down for 2 turns.
Level 2: Damage +20%
Level 3: Damage +20%
Level 4: Damage +20%
Level 5: Damage +20%
Marine Fury (Ultimate, Cooldown: 3 turns)
Deals 110% damage to all enemies. Damage is reduced by 30% per additional cast within the same round (capped at 3 stacks).
Level 2: Damage +10%.

Level 4: Damage +10%.
Level 5: Damage +10%.
