Yukimasa Demon of Ice Overview
Yukimasa Demon of Ice, arrives in Raid Shadow Legends as the 2025 Christmas Fusion, a fearsome Shadowkin warrior shaped by the merciless cold of winter. His tale tells of a demon who shatters enemy resolve, turning confidence into despair and striking back at anyone who dares attempt to control him. On the battlefield, Yukimasa stands out as an uncommon hybrid, blending solid damage, disruptive crowd control, and the rare ability to bring fallen allies back into the fight. For the Shadowkin faction, which has long struggled with dependable revival options, his emergence marks a major turning point, adding both lethal pressure and much-needed survivability. Claiming this icy champion, however, is no small task, as he must be fused by assembling four Maddak Eyes of Skyiron, each created from Silvain the Paramour earned through a demanding series of Events and Tournaments that will test every aspect of your roster and resource management.
Winnowing Winter (A1) sweeps across all enemies with a chance to place Block Active Skills. This debuff becomes irresistible when enemies are already under control effects such as Freeze or Stun, making Yukimasa particularly effective when paired with champions who can reliably lock down opponents. What makes this ability unique is its reactive trigger: whenever Yukimasa loses a turn due to control, Winnowing Winter activates instantly. This mechanic punishes opponents who attempt to neutralize him and makes him a natural counter to Mythical champions who depend on transformations or skill cycling.
Blizzard of Strikes (A2) elevates Yukimasa from a controller to a battlefield savior. This AoE attack ignores Block Damage buffs and carries a strong chance to Freeze enemies, with the debuff becoming irresistible against already controlled foes. More importantly, it doubles as a revival tool. If no enemy is killed, Yukimasa revives one ally with half health and Turn Meter. If at least one enemy falls, he revives the entire team under the same conditions. This dual-purpose ability makes him invaluable in Shadowkin Faction Wars, where revivers are scarce, and in wave-heavy dungeons where survival often hinges on a clutch resurrection. Synergy shines when Yukimasa is paired with damage dealers who can soften enemies before his strike, ensuring the kill condition is met and maximizing his revival potential.
Stain the Snows (A3) and his passive Solitary Demon cement Yukimasa’s role as both punisher and momentum-shifter. Stain the Snows steals all Turn Meter from a target, equalizes their Defense with his own, and scales damage based on the stolen meter. This makes him devastating against bosses like Fire Knight and Dark Fae, where Turn Meter manipulation is critical. His passive ensures that whenever he is locked down, he gains Turn Meter and ignores half of the target’s Defense on his next skill, turning enemy control into his weapon. Combined with his Arena Attack Aura that boosts ally Attack by 33 percent, Yukimasa thrives in both PvE and PvP. He excels in dungeons, faction wars, and offensive Arena teams, though his lack of innate sustain makes him vulnerable if focused early. Still, his icy arsenal and revival utility make him one of the most impactful Shadowkin champions to date, a true Demon of Ice whose presence reshapes the battlefield.

Yukimasa Demon of Ice Champion Lore Synopsis
Yukimasa, a Demonspawn bound to frost and war, once fought fiercely for Siroth during the First Great War. He believed deeply in the Shadow God and gave himself fully to battle, living by a creed that placed death above comfort or safety. That faith shattered when Siroth’s hunger for blood led his armies into ruin. Defeated and abandoned, Yukimasa found himself cut off from Anathraad and stripped of purpose. With no cause left to serve, he turned away from war and chose isolation instead, searching for meaning beyond endless slaughter.
During decades of solitude, Yukimasa learned the craft of smithing. He poured his discipline and rage into forging two swords infused with unnatural cold, naming them Blood Freeze and Bone Chill. These weapons became symbols of his rebirth, not as a servant of a god, but as a warrior guided by his own will. Yet creation alone was not enough. Longing to feel the rush of true combat again, Yukimasa set out to find a warrior worthy of testing his blades and his strength.
After many years, he encountered Hintoro, a Mikage captain renowned for his resolve. Their duel was fierce and exhilarating, reminding Yukimasa of what battle once meant to him. Impressed by Hintoro’s endurance and skill, he gifted him Blood Freeze and charged him to grow stronger so the blade would never lie unused. Humbled by Yukimasa’s power and presence, Hintoro accepted the sword and the burden that came with it, carrying its cold edge into countless battles across Yakai.
Hintoro’s achievements soon elevated him beyond mortality, and he rose into Demonhood through relentless conquest. Seeing himself as Yukimasa’s equal, he awaited the promised reunion, which came soon after the birth of his son, Jintoro. Yukimasa returned, pleased by Hintoro’s growth, and declared the sword his forever. For a time, they lived and trained together, sharpening their skills and guiding Jintoro’s upbringing. While Hintoro and his son travelled the land in battle, Yukimasa oversaw the estate, quietly binding their lives together through loyalty and shared purpose.
This peace ended when Hintoro and Jintoro vanished near the Mistwood border. Yukimasa later learned that Hintoro had fallen to the Sylvan and that Jintoro was missing. He blamed the Mikage for squandering two great warriors and withdrew once more into the mountains. Years later, Jintoro appeared in the Cloudspire Mountains, alive but scarred by loss. He spoke of seeking peace as a hidden protector of a small village, only for the Sylvan to destroy it and hunt him still. Jintoro asked for vengeance, and Yukimasa agreed. With Blood Freeze and Bone Chill reunited, a final reckoning draws near.
