I put Destroyer on her and use her in DT against the Scarab. Once fully booked she is great against him. They only way she could be better was if her aura worked there.
@J: You need to provide Valla Accuracy stats to strip away the Shield from the boss. Otherwise, it will get resisted by the enemy and the shield buff will remain on the boss.
is her Crush The Wall shield removal just completely useless against the magic keep boss? it just doesn’t seem to ever land, wtf is going on?

I put Extra Turn and Immortal on Valla. She has a shield and all her skills are raised bookwise. I gave her Resist to start her scrolls and went with Extra Health and better shield buff. She is unstoppable in many situations at level 50, and most of the time she’s the last one standing. I raised her to Rank 6 and at Level 1, she was rated higher than all my other cards, including Dark Athel which is already a fully ascended Rank 6. She is tireless, and a great warrior to watch in action.
For Valla, I think you should do 1 Divine set to trigger her Passive right away in combat, then a defense, then a speed set. (or even two Divine sets, and one speed set to really get the best bang for the buck out of her shield passive)
So, she can solo NM12-3 without any healing gear or masteries, so can she solo Mino. She can oneshot Duchess, Krisk, Tormin 300k team, no sweat. Good champ? Definitely and lot of fun too.
Poor Valla is way under-rated. She’s a beast in Campaign. I used her with Paragon to cheese Nightmare 12-7 for my final 3 star. Good gear but not amazing. Defence 4200, speed 200, accuracy 208. I use her in the same gear for Doom Tower waves, when the affinity is not spirit. Helpful against the Scarab King but what a pain! Not as helpful in the dungeons or clan boss but also a murderer in Faction Wars. Helped get me through 21. One of my favourite champs. Don’t hesitate to level her up to 60! Worth it and so hard for anyone to kill.
I’m trying her with support tree instead of defense and lifesteal/bloodthirsty and perception set, this way her remove shield and decrease def lands more often.
Working well for me at the least, she’s my second champion lv60 on barbarian FW besides Scyl

What kind of equipment/artifact set(s) do you use her with?
@Jim it may be that she is negative affinity in regards to the Magic Keep boss. Since her ability has an attack included, there’s a possibility of weak hits and thus, her debuff will not trigger (removing a shield is considered a debuff).
She can’t seem to remove the shield on the magic dungion boss. Not sure why. Wording does seem to indicate accuracy is needed for that skill, so it should work all the time.
I have two Vallas. Unless there’s a situation made easier by having two Vallas, I’, considcering using the second to skill up the first,
I believe Valla deserves no less than 4 stars in fire knight. She has a multi-hit A1, is the strong affinity, has a high defense for survivability, and a hard hitting A2 to help with the waves.
I have her as my first lvl 60, in lifesteal Gear and mediocre armor. I also fully booked her. She is literally carrying my team through Nightmare solo farming. She’s literally unkillable and hits like a truck.
Daniel, if u go to masteries and look right beside attack, defense or support u will see a circle, press it and u can reset skills for free the first time.

@Ayumilove: It is great that you have adjusted Valla’s ranking based on user feedback; however, it is still obvious that you have never tried her yourself in many of these areas of the game. You still have her underrated! Valla is an absolute BEAST! In my opinion, she is an A-Tier Epic and I use her like one.
I started playing RAID during the Amazon Prime promotion in Q1 of 2020, and Valla was part of that promotion, so she was one of my first few Epics (I missed the first week, so no Ultimate Galek for me). Since I have had her for such a long time, I have had the opportunity to use her in a lot of places. Her biggest strengths: (1) AOE Shield Removal and (2) Fortified Core and Resolute Defense make her incredibly hard to kill.
I am a late-game player with 19 Legos and 70+ Epics, and here are the places that I still use Valla:
1) Minotaur 15 as the only champ with gear to master/level my new 6-Star Champs. The runs take about 1:30. 5 stars
2) Partnered with Miscreated Monster to 3-star NM Campaign except for 12-7. 5 stars
3) Partnered with Stag Knight to clear L15 of the Void Keep & Force Keep with 3 Food Champs each run. The runs take about 1:30 on each Keep. 5 stars
4) She rocks at Magic Keep, but I now have a faster Lego pair for that Keep. 5 stars
5) She is not really built for CB, but I used to use her on CB until I had better options, and she can do a couple of Million on NM with Helmsmasher as her T6…that would likely be higher with Warmaster. 2 stars
6) Arena: I did not have the right combination of gear and champs to build an Arena Speed Team for a very long time, so my first G4 Team was an All-Epic Tank Team with Valla as the Main Damage Dealer. I still use that team in 3v3 Arena where I am currently in S3, and they surprise quite a few of the Lego Speed Teams, which always makes me happy. 4 stars
7) Faction Wars: Barbarians was the first Faction that I hit 63 stars in FW, and Valla is a huge part of that success. I would not have gotten through L21 w/o Scyl, but I would have never gotten close to L21 w/o Valla. 5 stars
8) I have stable teams for all L20 Dungeons now, and Valla is not on any of them, but I used Valla to crush Force Affinity Stages of Ice Golem & Dragon as I was making the climb.
9) Doom Tower: We are only a week into the Void Tower, but her survivability is already proving very useful, and she is a key component of my runs against the Scarab King.
Like many players, I use your site a lot. Thank you for the great resource. Also like many players, I have made many decisions about which champs to Build, Vault, or Feed based on information you have here.
For any new player or any mid-game F2P player, getting Valla would be a fabulous pull, and seeing her ranked as C-Tier might cause some to Vault her or Feed her, which would be a huge mistake. I find her so valuable that I am currently building a second Valla because I am convinced she will help me in the higher levels of the Doom Tower.
I repeat: Valla is an absolute BEAST!
I still feel you have her underrated. I use her in almost every team. Maybe I’m playing the game “wrong” but she can carry minotaur lab. No super speed is like a 1:35 time but for mostly FTP. I do not use her in CB or Magic, but everywhere else she is great. Her def is +3488 and that is about it foot great stats.
What gear do I put on her for solo nightmare. She doesn’t seem like she can do it.
@all: Hi, I have updated Valla’s rating based on your comments and insights:
1. Campaign (4★ → 5★) = Able to solo Nightmare Campaign
2. Arena Defense (4★ → SAME) = Does not pose a threat since the debuff has a low chance to proc.
3. Arena Offense (4★ → 5★) = Excellent against Arena Defense Team with heavy shield. Tanker.
4. Magic Keep (4★ → 5★)
Valla is way underrated, She often pulls out arena wins for me by herself when teams are evenly matched
Man these ratings are way off. I break the internet with Valla. She can Solo Nightmare Campaign. I use her to farm xp/food. If you get her early game you’re doing well as she nukes entire arena teams.
I put her in Lifesteal and she just won’t die.
Valla is awesome in Arena, I don’t have her maxed but she is always the last one to die in enemy team, I have 2 Valla, I might build a Valla team: Valla, Valla, Romero, Rotos.
Romero is very strong in Arena if built right, currently I have mine in 1 set of divine speed, 2 sets of 6* immortal, I just need to upgrade his Ring and Amulet, I believe he can keep my Valla team alive with his shield and heal.

I feel like she doesn’t need shieldbreaker as much since her A2 can destroy them anyways, might be worth it to respec those scrolls.
What about putting her in a shield set? It stacks with her shield correct?
Gobsmacked by the low ranking for Valla, think you need to watch some of the video’s you’ve listed above.
She’s an incredibly resilient champion, especially in early and mid game (and even more so as a 100% FTP player). Mine is in ok defensive gear (immortal and cruel) without top tier stats, and she solo’s right through into nightmare campaign before stalemating on a healing boss half way through. She solo’s dragons and Minotaur 12, and the only one where’s she not great is the Fire Knight.
In the arena she’s always the last one standing on my team, and has won me countless clutch battles where it looked like certain defeat. If i could get decent crit rate and damage gear for her i think she’d rule the world!

Comment way to long. But when I started I didnt understand much of the lingo so I’m not going to tell you about Aoe, Defense, hp etc. I will say this. Learn it soon because it saves you so much time. Missions and challenges teaches allot. Step by step. VALLA is just a cool Champiom self sustaining and a real coo to watch as she comes in good and grows well. She badd from the get go. I really like Valla on clan boss battles.
I got Valla only two weeks into playing raid from Amazon Prime. I came in about the time they were giving Valla on promotion and I needed a champion like that. I didnt get the other chMoions from Amazon. Too late. but got some cool gear. Valla is an incredibly good all around champion. In Arena she gets hard hit before her shields come up when y hit silver so just rank her to six get her gear, skills and masteries maxed as you move up. Build her skills and artifacts by the book she will stand right up. Best all around champion I had for first 3 weeks after I got her. leveled her to 50 straight away I wont part with Valla. Shell go to 60 i guess very soon. Along with a few others. I need a few well l,,, or many more legeandary now. O Lynn have 2 so Valla and a few other epics,, even a few rare are kicking in for me real well. I spent so much coins changing gear. Do it right first time. For every champion. If you can,, it’s not that hard to win the pieces ya need. Some people buy stuff. I have bought energy and diamonds. Soent maybe 120 in 65 days. I’m talking to you new people. Do all the challenges and missions. They will supply you with awesome stuff. I kinda did them then went back and am now finishing but not cool. They go step by step so its costing me time. And full up with 50s and 60s i could have gained from. For certain. Raid has taken me away from my guitar and I need to slow down but I got the card. it gives you 100 multi battles a day. Morw Xp and silver. I love that. Battepass was cool too. More rewards. If you are an no pay player thats cool to..
Just thought of this, but also has a multi-hit A1, with -60% def debuff and she’s spirit which is strong against the force type in FK20. I don’t see any justification for a 1 star rating in Fire Knight… She should be at LEAST a 3, likely a 4 star…
I’ve seen a few of her in the platinum arena defense list lately… She handles the Valks & shield set tanks quite well, plus she puts an AOE -60% def debuff… Maybe there is something to her beyond a 4 star for arena?
Forgot to mention, it’s important that she is fully booked.
I concure with Kaleozito and others. Valla is fantastic. I am in process of building her, but as for now I have her in 2 quite ok defense sets and 1 life set, no jewelery except 1 def ring and she was doing 12-3 on brutal at level 40! in about 1 minute or so! Crit rate and damage on 46% and 72% so very low. Only just started 3rd row of masteries.
At level 43 now she is doing bruttal 12-3 in about 30-40 sec. Almost as fast as my 60 Kael with better lifesteal gear and jewelery.
Funny, I am leveling her up along with my fodders ;D
And my intension was buliding her for arena 😉

I’ve got lvl 60 and good defense gear.
Her survivability is awesome, and she has pretty good damage also. Good in campaign (but a bit slow), in arena (she can destroy enemy shields) and in the dungeons (she can solo Min lvl12). And I’ve just started to get her scrolls (I’m at lvl 3 masteries)
Why no divine speed set for her passive?
I played about 3 weeks without knowing what I was doing, as I don’t normally play this type of game. I’m now on day 29 and about to finish my first monthly quest of completing the daily quests for 30 days.
Valla is my only 6* champion, and just reached level 60 yesterday. Only had enough potions to ascend her 3 times. I started unlocking masteries before I found this guide, so I unlocked Support instead of Defense. Even with my poor strategy, she is able to solo the Brutal campaign. I will complete this later this afternoon as I’m waiting on energy to refill enough to fight the last 3 battles.
@Argento from personal experience, I can tell you she is actually very strong without need to have any party comp shenanigans.
She is capable of soloing Nightmare campaign and can 3* the whole thing (except for bosses where affinities hold her back, then it’s a stalemate of healing).
Her base defense is sky high for an epic and her A1 and A2 scale to very high damage values off of it. Her A1 does about 8-9k per crit hit for me and her crush the wall crits for over 30k with ease. I don’t have her in anything close to approaching best in class gear either.
She doesn’t bring much to the party for buffs/debuffs, but she’s incredibly self-sufficient. She does decent clan boss damage because she is so survivable.
She’s a B epic. Not a game changer, but she’s a great individual contributor who can carry you through content you shouldn’t be able to clear yet because she’ll tank it to death.
Kind of curious why it didn’t terminate mastering with a defence based skill rather than the chosen offence skill… all her talents are defence based.
I think the assessment is correct. I don’t have it but I saw many streames and none of them had it well armed or high level. They only used accounts of people who if they spent time and with a very good team, they could make it shine. But nobody, none of them said it was an excellent champion, they just said that it is good and that in arena you could use it up to 4 gold but no more there because it falls short.
Here he values it with 4 a star before the excellent one and it seems to me that the author wanted to do it, to rate it as very good but not excellent.
Not sure why you have Valla rated so low. She is really strong. Better than Kael everywhere except CB. Better than most you have ranked above her. Definitely usable almost anywhere. A lot of your rankings seem to show that you are grading champions that you have never really tried to use. Valla does a ton of damage and is tough to kill. You should watch the Hellhades video you have posted above, you might learn something important.
Valla is a solid campaign-carry early in the game. I think she’s better than the starter heroes from what I’ve seen.
When you’re farming campaign your primary concern is energy to exp ratio and time to exp ratios. She’ll be a champ for energy to exp and mediocre for time to exp.
She’s slow, but she is easy to gear and she has extremely high survivability making it easier to push further earlier. Since her primary damage stat is defense, with proper gearing, she’s going to be taking very little damage and she will be self-shielding to give herself a breather for healing to catch up (and the shield is going to refill her turn bar by 50%, so it’s not a full turn’s cost of an action). A lifestealing or regenerating set and 2 pc initial shield from divine life makes her very good for trash farming.
I’d like her -def debuff to have a higher proc rate and/or a faster cooldown, but she’s able to auto down wave after wave.
I don‘t see her being worse than Exe, she seems way better than him. Don‘t really understand the stats ngl

The stats are wrong, please check their real stats. Same with assesment – using her and she is pretty decent (all scaling with defense and shield which she creates based on max hp per evvery 3 turns), base spd is not ideal, but 99 is good for such tanky champ too
