Ultimate Galek Review

Ultimate Galek is an Epic Attack Magic affinity champion from the Orcs faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He was introduced into the game through a special partnership with Amazon Prime, offering enticing rewards to the community. Ultimate Galek quickly gained popularity among players as he provided a glimmer of hope for those struggling to defeat the dreaded Spider 20 dungeon.

One of Ultimate Galek’s unique abilities is his A3 skill, an Area of Effect (AOE) HP Burn, which can be triggered when he has an Increase Attack buff. However, players soon discovered that this HP Burn would not activate on Auto mode unless they manually clicked on the Spider or used another champion to buff Ultimate Galek before his turn. Despite this challenge, Ultimate Galek’s potential for taking down the Spider Queen and her spiderlings was undeniable.

As word of Ultimate Galek’s prowess spread, players across Teleria sought to obtain him and harness his power. Many experimented with different team compositions, pairing him with champions who could provide the necessary buffs to activate his AOE HP Burn consistently. Others carefully controlled his actions in battle, timing his attacks to trigger the HP Burn at the optimal moment. Players shared their success stories, showcasing how Ultimate Galek helped them defeat the Spider Dungeon and progress further in the game.

Ultimate Galek’s reputation as one of the best champions for tackling the end game Spider Dungeon from stages 17 to 20 grew steadily. His AOE HP Burn proved to be a potent weapon against the Spider and her spiderlings. Whenever the spiderlings moved, the HP Burn would spread to the main Spider Queen, dealing substantial damage over time and weakening her health. Players hailed Ultimate Galek as a game-changer, enabling them to overcome the challenges of the Spider Dungeon and continue their quest to save Teleria.

In conclusion, Ultimate Galek’s arrival in Teleria through the partnership with Amazon Prime brought new hope to players struggling with the Spider 20 dungeon in Raid: Shadow Legends. His AOE HP Burn ability, though challenging to activate on Auto mode, proved to be a powerful tool against the Spider Queen and her minions. As players experimented with different strategies and combinations of champions, Ultimate Galek’s legend grew, inspiring others to seek him out and harness his potential. With his Orcish might and tenacity, Ultimate Galek became a revered champion among players, helping them conquer the challenges of Teleria and progress in their quest.

Ultimate Galek Champion Lore

Galek was born into a legacy of war and bloodshed, and while he may have rejected the worse aggressions of his forebears, such darkness never truly leaves. Had he chosen to embrace his legacy of violence, the path that awaited him would have been a very different one indeed. Galek’s father, Artak, was an Orc warlord of vicious temperament. The son of the chieftain Turan, he had witnessed first-hand the treachery of those who wished nothing but death and destruction on his people. Turan had sought to deal with the Humans of the Kingdom of Kaerok, leading the warriors of his clan to battle for one of the Banner Lords against his rival, in exchange for a place within his territory they could settle in peacefully once their service was complete. But the Human noble betrayed Turan, and the persecution continued.

Disgusted by such treachery as well as his father’s perceived weakness, Artak retaliated. He rallied the Orc clans and led them on a campaign that ravaged parts of Kaerok. Galek, Artak’s only child, fought at his father’s side and led the attack on the Free City of Delanos, capturing the gatehouse and allowing Artak and his warriors to storm the city. In the aftermath, Artak tested Galek by ordering him to execute a captured Human family. Galek hesitated but, fired by his father’s recital of all the wrongs his people had suffered and reminded that they had to do whatever it took to survive, he struck the fatal blows.

Such brutality may have repaid old injustices, but it inevitably spawned fresh ones. Outrage over the massacre at Delanos caused the forces of Kaerok to rally. They engaged the Orc host in a great battle at Nearhaven where the Orcs were driven back, retreating into Nearhaven’s castle, which they had earlier captured. During the fighting Artak himself was seized. Galek could only look on from Nearhaven’s ramparts as his father was brought forth and beheaded by the vengeful Humans.

Knowing that they would not survive a siege, a number of the remaining senior members of the clan convinced Galek to lead a breakout that night. They also pointed out that it was unlikely the clan’s noncombatants would make it out. Knowing they would slow the retreat, Galek begrudgingly agreed to leave them behind. As darkness fell, the surviving clan warriors hacked their way free. As they made their escape Nearhaven was stormed, the fires of its destruction lighting the night sky, and the wailing of those abandoned haunting those still able to escape.

After that desperate day, Galek and his hardened band of survivors stalked Kaerok, acting as guerrillas who raided and harried the Banner Lords and the Free Cities from areas of dense woodland, marshes, or wastes. Galek’s sacrifices had hardened and embittered him, and left no survivors in his attacks. Whenever his judgment was questioned he reminded his remaining kin of his father’s words – these lands would be reclaimed, whatever it took.

Galek hoped that his ongoing resistance would draw more Orcs to his banner, and slowly he would be able to rebuild his strength until he was in a position to strike properly at Kaerok once more. When that time came, he swore he would show no hesitation, and no mercy. As far as Galek was concerned, only the extermination of the Banner Lords could guarantee his people’s peace, though in truth it seemed Galek had forgotten the very meaning of the word. He was a warlord in every sense, and his only ambition was to succeed where his father and grandfather both failed.

    Anyone tried him on Hydra?

  2. Firbolg Sunny

Vicky L Purtee, I pulled Ultimate Galek 3 months ago, so yes it is.

  3. Big G

He is capable for spider 20 for sure. Since the AI skill setup feature came out he becomes much more reliable. Just set A2 as primary skill, A3 as 2nd skill he will be good to go. Making sure to bring CC champions with him.

  4. Vicky L Purtee

is ultimate galek still available ?

  5. Dennis Champagne

Ult.Galek, in Mastery. Would it make more sense to have Crit damage 20% instead of the one said as it strengthens the Crit he needs enforcing with the first skill c rate 5%. My Crit damage 109% n acc 128 with 5 star gear at the moment..

  6. DynamoDucky

    @Kekw992
I think what you see as “Blocked” are the turn meter decreases from Ultimate Galek’s A2 and A3, because the CB is immune to TM manipulation.
He can “Resist” the HP burn if have bad luck, or if your accuracy is too low.

  7. Erny J.R.C.

Been experimenting Ult Galek on Stun set

    @ Kekw992
You need more accuracy, the HP Burn debuff need it to be placed.
    Acc should match;
    Easy; +20
    Normal; +50
    Hard; +70
    Brutal; +140
    Nightmare; +170
    Ultra Nightmare; +220

My ultimate galek doesnt hp burn clan boss… it says debuff blocked like it was a sleep debuff. Anyone have it?

  11. UltimateSirNicholas

My Ultimate Galek is universal. He’s good for literally everything. Mostly because he has 121% crit damage, 90% crit rate, 40k hp, 4.5k attack and 3.2k defense. His speed is 140 also. Lifesteal and Divine Offense is what I use. Even against the heaviest hitting champions, he rarely gets one shotted and anytime he crit hits, it’s a instant full heal for him. The masteries are the same as above just a different set than speed.

  12. DynamoDucky

@Pepecofefe: he’s more of a specialist than regular Galek. I would strongly advise you not to feed him, as the HP Burn ability is extremely valuable in some dungeons.

Matter of fact, most people recommend not to feed any rare or epic as food unless it’s a dupe and you don’t need to book their abilities. And don’t expect you’ll probably get him again, it might not be that easy, especially since he’s an epic.

  13. Pepecofefe

I just started playing little over a month ago and for what I’ve seen ult Galex is balls compared to Galex. Maybe he gets better with 100% everything. I’m not finding this helpful at all. I won’t eat him just yet but something telling me to do that, being a noob player I’ll probably get him again

@Dude: Yes, you can make him put Ultimate Galek in the Leader Position, he does very well in clearing the Stun debuff and fully recovering his health. However, Clan Boss damage will increase substantially as the turn counter increases. He is great for early-mid game in Clan Boss using this strategy.

  15. Dude

Would it make sense to make him a stun target in CB since he has passive to remove Stun?

  16. Humstuck

Oh, sorry it took so long to see the reply. Its slow. Its 2mins 30 seconds or so. I kill spiderlings too much so I lose a lot of time on respawns.

  17. Ayumilove Post author

@Humstuck: How long does it take you to complete Spider 20 with the current team setup of Ma’Shalled, Ultimate Galek, Seeker, Coldheart and Stag Knight?

  18. Humstuck

Just finished Spider 20 today it went better then expected. I need to convert him to more damage cause I made him tanky for earlier spider stages. Still plenty strong. I might also book him, he deserves it for all the work he did on spider. Right now Ma’Shalled is tanking 20 and my UGalek and Coldheart kill biggy quite quick. The 2 other champs are Seeker and Stag Knight.

  19. VIDARR

    tinothy

both ACC set & Speed set would get a boost from Lore of Steel buff

  20. tinothy

Hello. For his CB/Dungeon build, you have lore of steel in support tree, but the suggested equipment is life steal/accuracy/speed, none of which boost stats by +15%, so this mastery would not provide any benefit, correct? Would cycle of magic be preferable?

  21. Mark Gabriel Cernunnos

I have Drex, does that make this guy obsolete?

  22. funnycreature

I finally managed to beat Spider 20 with Ult Galek. Key was adding Seeker to the mix. Thanks for all the great info @Ayumilove

  23. paul

without another atk up on team he is pretty lacklustre

  24. Ayumilove Post author

@Nik: Burning Rage is a skill that sets enemies on HP Burn. If the Spiderling has HP Burn debuff, and it takes his turn, it will burn all of his team members including the Boss. It doesn’t burn 33% of their HP but a fixed amount based on the difficulty in the Spider’s Den. HP Burn damage scaled based on the total MAX HP of the Spider Boss and Spiderling. The more HP they have, the more damage they will receive. Decrease Turn Meter effect only procs if the target has HP Burn debuff.

  25. Ayumilove Post author

@Bingbong: I have added Faction Wars rating for Ultimate Galek.

  26. Bingbong

@Ayumilove heads up that theres no ranking for faction wars.

  27. Nik

Oops, second question: Does Burning Rage’s turn reduction effect proc of itself on the second hit if the first hit applies the HP Burn?

  28. Nik

How does Burning Rage fare in Spider Den? Would an AoE HP burn cause Spider Queen and her spiderlings to all take 33% of their HP per turn?

  29. Shaaw

I would say Crit Rate % should be the priority over atk%. The primary usefulness he brings to the table is his HP burn effect and turn meter manipulation. His A1 and A2 but require critical hits to get their full effect, and the A3 requires getting a crit with his A2 first to do its work unless there is someone else in the team to give him atk buff. Without having high critical rate, his usefulness is dramatically reduced.

  30. Quriousity

    @Cody Young

“Decreases the target’s Turn Meter by 25% and places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on this Champion for 2 turns if this attack is critical.”

    He can provide it himself.

  31. Cody Young

He’s currently listed under the “Buff: Attack Increase” section.
He relies on it, but can’t provide it.

  32. Angelique

Thanks for the great work, fully interesting and informative for all kind of heroes.
the best site you can find for RAID.
    Angelique

  33. Korbben

    Amazing Job !

  34. Cumfox

Whats better Galek or Ultimate Galek? For campaign mostly. I See Galek got more stars, but ultimate is epic, which one is better overall?

  35. Ayumilove Post author

@an90: Both masteries are good depending on the situation you are in. For example, if you have all the champions to do everything but stucked in Spider’s Den because you do not have an AoE HP Burn, then you can make Ultimate Galek specialize in this Offense Tree and Support Tree. Most Attack Role champions are squishy (easily killed in 2~3 nuke hits) and they need some form of masteries that helps them survive longer in battle to inflict greater amount of damage in the long run. If you mostly focus the masteries to deal high damage, then you will need to something to substitute Ultimate Galek weakness, such as having another champion that can keep him alive longer (e.g. Ally Protection, Shield, Heal, Continous Heal, Veil, Unkillable, Block Damage)

  36. an90

Why u prefered def masteries instead the supp one on this champ? acc good for hp burn chances right? just wondering, cz im relatively new to this game

  37. Dr. Zaius

Thanks for using LokiMagics video. His content is great.

  38. Vynym

Hp burn doesn’t require acc? Just wondering.

  39. Declaredsnow

    Thank you!
