Turvold Storyline

Turvold’s birth is shrouded in mystery. Some suspect he was born of a union between a hermit witch and a giant, a rumour that gave him the rather appropriate nickname “Giantson”. The rest of his youth is mired in tall tales, most spun by Turvold himself. He is said to have been discovered by a Norr hunting party in the forest depths as a child and adopted by one of them. His unnatural strength and resilience ensured that in due time he became the tribe’s most respected warrior. He is said to have single-handedly slain a terrible Wyrm that terrorized the area for over a hundred years. It is in the Wyrm’s hoard that he found a mighty greatsword, infused with the chill of Winter by the great smiths of old. Taken by the desire to prove himself further, Turvold traveled the land as a mercenary for many decades and made a name for himself serving nobles of both Kaerok and Aravia. Though over a century old now, the blood of giants that runs through his veins keeps Turvold as mighty as he was in his youth. Wisened by his age, he has become as cunning in battle as he is strong, now capable of exploiting the weaknesses of his enemies and delivering terrifying blows that make the ground itself quake in awe.

This guy is awkward. If let me chose a single hitter in arena, that would be mountain king or roots because they can stay longer. Except arena, choosing max hp single hitter like Acrizia or Septmus more wise. So turvord is overrated now.

  2. Aurelius

    3 piece cruel. Refresh accessories
    5.5k attack
    190 speed.
    70 crit rate
    Over 260 crit dmg
If geared right he solos all potion keeps. Minotaur, nm campaign 12:6 in 30-40 seconds.
The masteries you offer here aren’t optimal even for cb.

@Earl: I have removed the Relentless Turvold video since it Relentless Set has been nerfed to not proc multiple times in 1 session. Thanks!

  4. Earl

I suggest you remove the relentless gear video, since a comment on YouTube indicates that this no longer works this way.

  5. Wildsdreamer

Built this guy with 70% crit rate (because of his a2 crit rate buff), 6*Crit DMG gloves and stacked more crit dmg and as much atk as I could. He’s at around 220% crit dmg for me and carries my team in NM Clan Boss, Dragons 20, and Ice Golem 20. He’s amazing at wiping out mobs in dungeons. He’s great in arena too to wipe out someone with 1 hit.

If you’re lucky enough to pull him, build him out asap and watch him carry your team.

@ayumilove Just got this champ and I only have 5 six stars. He seems amazing but it’s so damn hard to speed tune him unless you are super late game. Can’t see him working in clan boss or spider unless you hit the champion lottery. He hits hard in arena which is cool but it’s a bummer because I’m afraid to waste books on him even though he’ll prolly be my only leggo for a while.

@Frank: Turvold storyline has been added into this page.

What to do with Turvold after the latest update??!!! I had a solid level 60 fully Divine Offeense armed and booked player who could one shot almost anything… I built a team around that…

After the update nerfing, it seems like a level 2 Warboy with no armor at all, can knock this 29K HP champion on his ass in one shot, never mind that he has all his other stats in the 150-190 range.

    Suggestions?

  9. Matt

In Tier 5 mastery, would you guys suggest Offense Methodical or Defense Cycle of Revenge

  10. Dan

Hello, thanks for guide! Curious if you meant attack% for chest plate instead of defense%. Seems odd to have primary stat to be attack% but not using any attack% gear. Can you enlighten me if I’m missing something

  11. Frank

Check the Facebook page for his story. Supposedly the child between a Jotun and a witch.

  12. Rex of Rom

Should post up a defense tree build for him. He really shines in arena, and the counter masteries are a must

  13. melmus

1 cool that he is a godtier now, he oneshots every champ even if they have ally protection
2 hurts my eyes to see that support masteries are recomended
